3281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: need portfolio-tracker or trading sheet on: April 23, 2021, 11:40:46 PM
First of all, Excel is the most friendly sheet to monitor your trading transactions so its not stupid if you have one because I’m using this one too and I’m very effective on logging my trading and see if I made a good progress or not. You can use Blockfolio to monitor your holdings, this is also a big help if you’re far away from your laptop.
3282  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Convenient as Possible sa Pag-deposit ng Fiat to buy Crypto on: April 23, 2021, 04:57:41 PM
Maganda ang transaction if mababa yung fee at mabilis.
P2P is my new way of buying bitcoin and funding may account bukod sa mabilis ito, safe den na papasok agad sa aacount mo.
3283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust centralized exchanges? on: April 22, 2021, 11:56:40 PM
I think you heard the last news about the Turkish stock exchange:
https://decrypt.co/68703/billion-dollar-rug-pull-turkish-bitcoin-exchange-goes-dark
Customers fear a rug pull as Turkish crypto exchange Thodex abruptly halted trading.
At any time, money can be blocked for an unknown time.
Recently, I have not been trading on centralized exchanges and have kept as much money there as it’s not a pity to lose

I trust centralized exchange but not our local exchange because our government can really ban cryptocurrency any time and if I put my money on our local exchange, I might be on a high risk of losing it.

This is why I only use Binance which is operating on a country that accepts cryptocurrency, there’s a lot of good exchange and better to look for it, don’t just settled using the local exchange.
3284  Economy / Economics / Re: First UK Bank Bans Businesses Accepting Bitcoin on: April 22, 2021, 10:59:45 PM
Its happening now and the price of Bitcoin reacts on every bad news, we might enter now into the correction phase and starts to enter into a bear trend. Those institutions started to spread the “BANNING” issue just like what happened to 2017, its time now to go down.

I don’t think many banks in UK will follow, because I know this is just a temporary and they can’t totally ban those companies or else they’ll leave that bank and look for a better option.
3285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDING VS TAKING PROFITS DURING BULL RUN on: April 21, 2021, 11:39:21 PM
For me, I would sell half then hodl the other half for a couple of years. You really don't know if the coin you are holding is still good in the future. Taking profit during bull run is not bad because after that season there would definitely be a bear season. If you will just hodl then you won't be able to buy cheaper coins when its bear season.. Greediness is really hard to overcome. We already dream the profit of something that is not there yet.
I always on the side of taking profit but if its a good coin, its good to hold some especially if you just got that money for free and thru bounty. Never hesitate to take profit because you cannot know the future of that coin/token, everything here is very volatile so if you don’t sell while its on peak you might sell it later on, but don’t expect the same profit as before. Let’s dream a reality, don’t over think that you holdings will pump instantly, it takes time.
3286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best site for NFT marketplace on: April 17, 2021, 10:58:30 PM
Rarible is easy to access and its easy to buy and sell your NFT which I think is very friendly for a newbie and you don’t need to apply to become an artist on this site, its secured but If you’re a newbie artist you must be more patient since not everyone will like your art, so keep on working until you make your name in the public. I tried using Rarible and i had a smooth transactions.
Binalikan ko yung mga old altcoins ko lang NEM, SIA, and NEO and so far nasa magandang position naman sila and I made some profit already with them pero plano ko paren silang ihold hanggang sa mas tumaas pa ang value nila. Marami ren ako nahukay sa wallet ko na kung saan yung mga bounty na akala ko ay walang value, yun pala ay nagkaroon nq ng magandang value since last year, nakakatuwa na makita na naholhold mo paren yung mga old altcoins mo.
3288  Economy / Economics / Re: Bernard Madoff dies in prison. A 20 year long Ponzi on: April 16, 2021, 10:13:51 PM
It is amazing how long a Ponzi may last.
It is crazy to think that people will not learn from their blunders even though they know that they are investing in scam ponzi schemes and cryptocurrency market also had its fair share of ponzi schemes inspired by Bernard Madoff and if you look in this forum you will identify many promoting them including OneCoin, Bitconnect and PlusToken and even with all the warnings people will ignore them and invest in them and end up burning their money.
Fortunately, those ponzi scheme project that is being introduced here in forum is already taken down before they scam many people. Maybe Madoff took advantage of a slower technology before and the lack of knowledge of many about investments before that’s why they last for years. Now that he’s dead I’m sure the justice was already serve.
3289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be on the lookout for ethereum this April on: April 16, 2021, 02:08:54 PM
We are waiting for nothing, actually.
We had already surpassed April 15 but it looks like there are no changes happening in the market. The fees are still high, the price remains high, I was expecting such a dropout but there is none. Or maybe I was wrong?
Hard fork doesn't resolve the fees issues, because its not on the main network of ETH and beside, we've already seen the new peak of ETH at $2,500.00 this is already a good progress after all. Let's continue to hope that the fess issues will be resolve on the up coming updates with ETH 2.0, we're still far from finishing the updates, more to go.
3290  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Kamusta Mga Mate ? on: April 15, 2021, 11:58:18 PM
Welcome back and this forum is always welcome to those who wants to learn and those who want to earn some extra money. Though this local board is not that active, yung ibang pinoy kase is busy talaga sa bounties kaya its good if magstart ka ulit mate.
3291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I invest in cryptocurrency or coinbase COIN on: April 15, 2021, 09:02:57 PM
Is investing in cryptocurrency is good idea or COIN , please suggest

https://talkoncrypto.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=35
Depends on what project you’re investing since not all cryptocurrency are worth it and some are shitcoins that can’t give you profit but an headache. Coinbase is huge, they tend to offer more in the public as they enter in the public market so this can also be a good option for your investment, this is a top cryptoexchange as well.
3292  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Other Bitcoin wallet that converts Bitcoin to PHP? on: April 11, 2021, 10:07:25 PM
Madali lang naman talaga mag comply and nothing to worry about naman as long as your money are come from a good source pero, ang hassle lang kase talaga nito para saan pa ang verified account na may limit na malaki if need paren pala ng ganitong verification.
3293  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden infrastructure investment - got it right? on: April 11, 2021, 09:32:16 PM
Biden infrastructure investment is Biden wants to repair roads and bridges it's about $2 trillion budget. In my country, govt. does this type of work all over the year and it most important for economic development, people's deluxe travel and so on.
Infrastructure are also the main project of our own government, it looks pretty good because it can increase the speed of deliveries and in terms of calamities, you can easily help people. I see the budget allocation on the $1.5 Trillion Skinny Budget of Biden separate from his infrastructure plans, education and the commerce are on top on budget allocation. More taxes, more budgets and yet they print a lot of money recently, this could trigger an economic crisis very soon.
3294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with LTC ! on: April 11, 2021, 12:10:04 PM
ETP was getting launched a few days ago and this is bringing the demand again for litecoin. I think that you can try to see that about the latest news for LTC through this link
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/litecoin/news/

The latest pumps caused by whales. There will be an entity will issue litecoin physical form as well.
This could be the reason on the recent pump and its good that LTC joins the up trend along with the good altcoins.

I’ve never doubted on LTC because its one of the pioneer and despite of being not that active, LTC maintain its level. Whales are coming in the market, LTC can be a good place for them let’s just see how they’ll play on LTC network.
3295  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Nakakabaliw na Fee ng coins.ph on: April 11, 2021, 03:09:25 AM
Sa taas ng fee ngayon, napipilitan akong maghold pero if no choice talaga lalo na kapag nasa ETH network ang pera mo, you really have to deal with the higher fees.

Coinsph simula sa una mataas na talaga mag collect ng fees, we don't know if may iba pa bang fees bukod sa transaction fee sa network and same thing sa conversion rate nila. Good thing is, may XRP wallet sa coinsph at kahit papano ay nakakapagtransact paren ako at a lower fees. Sana magawan den ito ng paraan ng coinsph since some wallet naman ay mura lang ang fee like the Electrum wallet.
3296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading book I have read so far on: April 11, 2021, 02:45:57 AM
Never heard of those books since I'm too focus on reading local trading books which I can easily understand based on my language but those list looks interesting, good thing you put some links to read those books.

Having the right knowledge in trading is a must, and I can say that books can be big help and once you're ready, you can always go back to this book and look for the answer on your questions. Trading is not easy, it takes a lot of sweat and the process is not a joke, kudos to those who are being a responsible trader and making time to learn things.

Which ones are known to be scams or dead projects with no social media updates or simply just shitcoins with no real world use?

If you had $1000, which ones would you avoid?
First where did you get this list? How did you learn about this project?
If I have $1000, I’ll avoid all the tokens on the list because I don’t see any value with them and never heard about those project. This is just my thoughts since I do buy those who active in the market with a great volume. You can search on top DeFi project to spend your $1000, that can be more worth it.
3298  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bilyonaryo dahil kay BTC on: April 10, 2021, 11:23:43 PM
Never ako magshare ng ganyan sa social media, nakakatakot kase sa sobrang dame ng mga kawatan ngayon, maaring malagay sa panganib ang iyong sarili kase we don’t know baka kakilala lang den naten ang trumaydor sa atin.

Anyway, naniniwala ren ako na maraming naging milyonaryo because of the current bull market especially sa mga Binance holders, napakaswerte talaga naten as an early adaptor of cryptocurrency.
3299  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe history repeat itself? Economic wise. on: April 10, 2021, 10:56:57 PM
I don’t think there’s a cycle on Inflation because if you look at the past years on every country, you can see that it continues to go up and there’s no way to prevent Inflation from increasing, we might just delay it but in time inflation will still win, just like this example on the year 2001 the Double Mcburger can only cost you around $1.50 in my country, now it can you cost up to $3.5.

We can use our money to invest/trade on stocks, cryptos, bonds and any market that can increase the value of your money but it wont help to stop inflation, we have to deal with this properly because everything will go up as the demand continues to increase.
3300  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex cannot change the email address assigned to an account on: April 10, 2021, 03:58:20 AM
You are in a weak position because in their terms of use they offer to keep the e-mail and not change it, but I see this is a useless rule.
They want people to forget their coins so that they can sell them in the future.
They don't want people to forget their email account, and its clearly written on their ToS its just that, their system and platform are not that advance compare to other exchange that allows you to recover your account even if you already lose control on your email account. To OP, this is a total loss already, seems like Poloniex can't help you anymore.

Exchanges must consider this one, because there's a lot of hackers and even emails are being hacked nowadays so its important to have other options to recover your account not just through emails, KYC can be a big help on this.
