Are you thinking of some sort of loophole like selling BTC in El Salvador to avoid paying taxes because out there it's a currency conversion and not taking profit on investment? I'm pretty sure the US or any other government will view it as taxable event, because generally governments always expect taxes from doing foreign investment activity, which usually results in a person having to pay taxes in both countries, unless there's an agreement between both countries.

See, central bank is dominated by half of the world because they all depend on its working system all the way from federal government, state government and the local government all depends on allocation from central bank and this yearly budget are been signed and approved by the government. Now tell me how bitcoin tends to replace such a movement.
It will be very hard to overcome that crook system especially that bitcoin is always hated by the masses.
There is no any possibility that bitcoin can kill central banks because it's not even fully legalized by the government to be a currency because it's a decentralized one. And there is no way that a centralized one could ever be replaced by just an uncontrolled virtual currency. Bitcoin is the pace setting cryptocurrency. When bitcoin is down, altcoin overreact and the dump that follow altcoin is in multiple times lower. When bitcoin rises, altcoin will dump as well. Why, because people will be selling altcoin at any price so they could ride bitcoin movement.

The problem with using bitcoin as a daily currency is the fees, we can't go to the store and buy a $1 beer if we have to pay $5 in fees, even if we do our weekly shopping in 1 day the fees still too high. So, bitcoin isn't a coin to do small transactions, it would be great to buy a house or to buy a car, but to buy things like food will not work for the long term.
If i had both options (bitcoin or cash) I would pay with cash and avoid burn the money on fees.
Bitcoin will still be a great investment even if it will considered a legal currency so i will not spend my bitcoin and onlyd spend my fiat for my necessities. But in terms of buying real estate or cars which i think won't be catered with my fiat, so i will start to use a small fraction of bitcoin providing that its transaction fee will be quite low compare at the present. But bitcoin will still be considered as my top investment so as much as i can, i prefer to hold and keep it grow and only spend it when its price has surges into its peak. |

I feel like one who realizes what's best for him or her has the highest intelligence and doesn't even need advice from others. One should neither risk their life nor their money unless they have a reason to do it. I might even understand one risking their money because they are desperate but risking your life should be the last among the last set of choices. Then again, you achieve nothing if you don't risk anything so one has to take risks. Taking calculated and avoiding unwanted risks is the right way moving forward, I suppose. There will always be risks in everything we do, be it as an investment or not. They all have its pros and consequences in the real sense. Taking risk is a good start to make you move forward as you aim for more positive and ideal result. We can't have progress and move forward by the way if we don't go out from our comfort zone. But taking risk for money should also have its limits and should not reach to the extent of taking risk your life and putting it between life and death situation. It's a different story i guess. |

This time totally different from 2018 situation. Still i am beliving that no bear market comes. so what time will come , i think in another 3 months?
I think the bear market is already here and the dump that is expected is happening again. The market has been struggling for weeks or probably a month already, and this bad news is keeping investors away from investing their money. The hype is over, china FUD ad Elon's hate is here, so no interest in investing for now, with that, it will result in a temporary market collapse due to an overprice of altcoins that happened during the bull run. Prices are dumping these days so i think we are already in a bear season. Others may see this as a big correction but it seems this correction has lasts longer making most of the coins continue to decline their prices. I hate to say this but this bear season has saddened most of the investor's hearts. This market keeps being uncertain leaving most of the coins still in a dump price which also made other people decide to fall into panic selling. But for me, i prefer to hodl because i still have high hopes that everything will be back to normal again. Bitcoin will eventually rise as well as those altcoins that are also following the path of bitcoin. |

I'm currently receiving some of my income in BTC, and I'm just holding it because I expect it will go up long term and so it is my savings.
But sometimes I'd like to be able to turn it into fiat for daily expenses. I can't yet pay my rent or buy my groceries with BTC (hopefully one day! but not today and not in the near future).
Not at all and I don't believe that would happen. there will always be value in bitcoin. and also there is no limit to access the internet. if one of the way to convert it to fiat is closed. like banned crypto in some country people are still using internet. Bitcoin will not stay forever as an investment alone because the more bigger institutions will come to adopt bitcoin, the higher the chances that bitcoin will be adopted as a currency in the future. But for newbies who have the biggest fear about not converting btc into fiat, we won't reach this far if bitcoin will not hit its main target in the long run. We're halfway there knowing some of the countries are already adopting bitcoin. Just enjoy what we have at the moment. |

COVID 19 enriched majorities while the minorities suffer.
The current increament in the cost of commodities in the market is alarming bad yet the majorities who are representative of the minorities (politicians) seem to pay less concerned.
This increament before now was tag to be as a result of Covid 19 which interrupted importation and exportation of good and services.
It is expected that with the decrease in the Covid 19 spread I thought their will be a corresponding decrease in prices of price the reverse is the case.
My question remains is their any hope for price decrement.
I think everyone suffered a lot from the pandemic, but poorer countries and smaller bs usinesses were hit harder than others. The US printed tons of Fiat, and inflation is already a bit higher than expected if I'm not mistaken. As anfor Bitcoin, it recovered from the initial hit of Ma rch 2020, and I think it became largely independent from the pandemic, unlike the global economy. So the price can go up or down, based on other events and their media coverage, but it's impossible to predict where it'll go. This pandemic has made everyone to struggle even harder and the price inflation is even more growing when it comes to goods and services. Poor people are becoming even poorer and there's no way our economy will recover if this covid 19 variants continue to appear and infected people. However, when it comes to crypto market, either prices will go up or go down, that is already expected knowing the market is very much volatile. But still some investors do not understand the market's high volatility mostly newbies and continue to become stressed out seeing the prices keep on declining. |

Among all the backsteps China have taken, closing miners is a good boost for the future of crypto as the world was getting wary of a lot of hash from every mineable coin going to China. Though they would prevent financial institutions to provide crypto related service, crypto would still flourish in China. Not even the Chinese government can effectively block crypto. And for an oppressive regime like china, crypto could be the only way out for a lot of population.
China has been making a lot of restrictions when it comes to crypto. Banning of bitcoin in China has made the crypto market started to decline aside from the tweet of Elon. But all these things have been proven that bitcoin can't be stopped by them or any other group. I'm impressed with the Hawks these season since out of nowhere they reach this far and they have chance to take the title.
I have to say it is really unexpected for me, I didn't see Hawks coming all the way to conference finals. I imagined it would be Nets vs Sixers conference finals at one side, Clipppers vs Lakers on the other side and then Lakers vs Nets finals in the end with whoever won. That is what I believed would happen around the start of the season, and that is what I believed at the start of the playoffs as well, I imagined Lakers sucked on regular season because Lebron and AD got injured and they were back so they would win against Suns, now Suns in conference finals and they even got a game without CP3 (albeit to a kawhiless clippers). Let's see what is going to happen but I think this season could be the only season in my memory where I had to no idea who would win a series for whole playoffs, sure there were shocking results in some series before but not for ALL playoffs. Until now people are still underestimating the Hawks, they are a huge underdog in the previous round and this round. There are even some of my friends that are giving the Hawks a +2 wins in the series, meaning, Hawks just need to win 2 games in order for a bet to win. Since jazz is out of the picture well my bet will go to Bucks for winning the champ this year since if you compare the roosters among these teams we can say that bucks is more dominant among them, But we cannot predict since its early to tell and maybe other teams will find ways on how they can outscored the bucks on their match. I'm impressed with the Hawks these season since out of nowhere they reach this far and they have chance to take the title. Bucks are the favorites now because they beat the favorites in this season. Maybe they'll have an easy journey against the Hawks but I'm sure the NBA finals will be tough for them, especially if a team knows how to play defense against Giannis, it would be better if Leonard will come back and they'll win the WCF as we know how effective Leonard is on limiting Giannis. |

Moving the fight to August 14 might not be a good idea as the fight between Manny and Errol Spence is scheduled on August 21 so I think people might not buy the PPV as they rather watch the Pacman return.
