$7 Trillion Asset Giant Fidelity to Launch Crypto Trading ‘Within Weeks’

Fidelity says its cryptocurrency trading product is aimed at institutional traders and will initially focus on bitcoin. Fidelity spokesperson Arlene Roberts said:

“We currently have a select set of clients we’re supporting on our platform. We will continue to roll out our services over the coming weeks and months based on our clients’ needs, jurisdictions, and other factors. Currently, our service offering is focused on Bitcoin.”

Great news, however, who are these institutional traders

3283  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Good wallet to store Bitcoin Cash ? on: May 06, 2019, 01:39:07 AM
No, it's still not recommended to use blockchain as a wallet because it's an online wallet and you dont have full control of your private key unlike before.
But users have full access of its recovery seed, most wallet now is in HD wallets where they only offer its mnemonic seed due to the fact that it's hard to familiarize a private key while recovery seed is much more easy to understand and familiarize especially for these newbies.

Even you are using 2fa on the blockchain it still not safe to use there are many people complain about their wallet and most of them are scam and security problem or hacked
Most the blockchain wallet complains about hacks, lost funds and scam are from newbies who doesn't know its basic practice on how to secure their accounts, while, on the other site, complains of its old users are its buggy platform, syncing issues, sometimes its inappropriate fees.

If a hacker got his seed and accessed OP's wallet then op would have received an email notification for IP change.
I'm not aware of this, I only get a notification when I'm going to log in with new IP, after I successfully logged in, received or send funds, but not for accessing the account using the 24 seed with new IP.

How and where did you manage to gather all such data? I know that hard work pays off, but this one's a lot of smart work done here with each and every single thing detailed to us showing what Bitcoin used to be as an infant and what it is presently - a beast.
Most are them written on the source provided by OP but he added some details to make it better.

P.S.: Are we allowed to translate this in our local language and publish in our local section with a link referring to the original content here?
I guess that's alright, everyone does this, however just wait until op's confirmation.
3286  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Bitcoin Ad Network on: May 05, 2019, 11:40:21 PM
The site is on different language why don't you just use english as the primary language and just put some options to change to different language.

Your publishers are only few. Try to advertise you service first so you will get more more publihsers and advertisers.

The site also seems so slow to load.  Undecided, Okay, seems it's my internet connection earlier.

Can't see any threads for this on the forum so let me share this one here

Saw this article and trying to share it here, but the fact that sentiments of this man towards bitcoins don't really matter, so I didn't.

I mean, he's 88 years old, you can't expect to understand Bitcoin right away. After all, it took him years to understand Amazon, Facebook and Google. Bitcoin is another level. Give him more time.
I'm afraid how an 89, or +90-year-old (for few more years) man can still understand this mathematical currency if his thoughts already opposed to that.
3289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oldest youtube video talking about bitcoin on: May 05, 2019, 04:41:41 PM
Just wondering why this video doesn't have enough views which it deserves, since its one of the oldest bitcoin-related videos while this[1] one has the most views I see that introduce/define what is bitcoin.

OP never respond to any questions which is reasonable for such incident and I feel sorry for him, thats nearly US$ 20k funds lost. I have stored not that huge but I already use a hardware wallet.

So for you to learn, please use a hardware wallet to store your funds instead and store your 24 seed on a safe place, but please not on the cloud.
3292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have 1 BTC in alts should I transfer all to BTC on: May 05, 2019, 05:30:24 AM
You're asking suggestions while you created already your conclusions. If you "don't believe bitcoin for long term success", same thing, don't convert all your coin to bitcoin since there are many alternatives to cash your coins. And continue to trade alts for good.
3293  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-04] Whale Moves $230 Million for 57 Cents Using Bitcoin on: May 04, 2019, 09:55:48 PM
you don't hear too often about people getting robbed of their savings from their bank accounts, while with Bitcoin it happens all the time.
But mostly heard getting robbed by taking too huge amount fee for cross border transfer.

You will hear some of the adverse criticisms from bank-people after this news or once btc price hike.

Just wondering if those amounts are being sold or just simply being moved into other address?
Guessing it's only moved from his address inputs to the final address.

This was successfully done by some proponents and escrowed by me, so I suggest OP to close the thread to prevent spamming, just open if still wants to create some other related trades.

3296  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How did you get scammed? on: May 04, 2019, 12:49:10 PM
Aside from too many faucets (just time though) and HYIP before, I was scammed also here, back in 2017, that was $1k from lending some sh*t. I wasn't aware of that trick, and that's the first time I observe even experience lmao. But the good thing is I get more than the amount I lost after a day from my services back there.

3299  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Highcoin.net is a scam? on: May 03, 2019, 10:31:30 AM
This website template is mostly used such scam, saw some reports with same trick and web template used by the scammer.

Lots of cases do people faces such scams like this in CT, either exchange or a gambling site. Only newbies get victimize and glad you ask first before doing something. It's obvious scam attempt, just ignore and block this friend you're talking for your own safety.
3300  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Importing and Using Imported Address on: May 03, 2019, 03:25:36 AM

Did you try to import the address or the private key associated with the address?

How do you import an address without importing the keys first?  Roll Eyes I wasn't aware you can do that, the only way to import an address is by importing the keeps and sweeping. If I'm missing something let me know.
It's possible, only as watch only address, which bitcoins cannot be sent from that address.

This concern may be a syncing issue...
