3281  Local / India / Re: Unocoin bank deposits n withdrew starts from today on: March 05, 2020, 02:33:05 PM
Though I am happy that Unocoin has started their services today
They were trading at a premium price to purchase the coins when i checked in the morning and the selling price were much lower than the global market. Glad supreme court came up with the verdict after two years Undecided.

I am more happy for Koinex since the court ordered the Central Bank to release the funds (almost 12 crores) which were frozen by the bank.
I was not aware of this, 12 Crore frozen for two years is a pretty shitty affair and the liability the company had to go through will be awful.

What is the future of Coinsecure, i was following Benson and his venture, Tokenyz Ventures and now they are redirecting to ajna.digital .
I would like to hear from Benson about his plans.
3282  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon to accept bitcoin payments directly... the real breakthrough!? on: March 03, 2020, 10:55:10 PM
Amazon having their own stablecoin could be really scary, same with facebook and microsoft and apple as well because these are HUGE companies and if they get any more power financially aside from just profiting from their work, they could be unstoppable and could become too powerful to bankrupt which means they will start doing whatever they want to do and if they fail simply they will be bailed out and knowing that they will do whatever they want with that freedom.
If these private companies can overcome the regulatory issues then there is nothing to stop them in coming up with their private centralized currency and the success rate of those depends upon how well people will be migrating into it and how profitable they can be minting their own digital money and maintaining the network, it is not an easy and lucrative business as we think it will be in my opinion especially if it is a stable coin and one miscalculation would take the company to bankruptcy especially in times of disaster.

I still think no private organization should be allowed to do stablecoins in the major nations, maybe small island nations and all but no major country should allow their big companies to build any stablecoin and should simply do government stablecoins.
Since this is a new market there will be many experimentation carried out in the next ten years, private companies coming up with their coins or token, countries coming up with their coins and many more drama is to be seen. If a company is able to hold an equal asset in accordance with the stable coin they are planning to come out, then why not.
3283  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 03, 2020, 09:51:20 PM
And besides, when all of us use cryptocurrency the government and soon the country economy will collapse because there's no way to tax people if they are using crypto and not fiat.
I do accept majority of the factors you mentioned including BTCitcoin replacing fiat because it is impossible to do micro transaction in third world countries considering their currency valuation and not everyone is rich enough to afford an internet connection but when it comes to taxation you will be liable to pay your tax and once the exchanges will be regulated by the government and the only way to purchase the coin is through your bank account everything will be transparent, all you need to do is disclose you crypto profits and pay the tax accordingly to be on the good side of the law.
3284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 03, 2020, 09:26:55 PM
Outstanding match today between Zim and Bangladesh and the way Zimbabwe middle order batsman played and attacked it looked a different team all together . It was unfortunate that they ended on a losing side by just 4 runs chasing a score of 323 runs .Tiripano blistering innings helped Zimbabwe to come so close to the chase and yet just missed the win.
I did not anticipate Zimbabwe to fight till the end, i was expecting an easy win for Sri Lanka but the Zimbabwe middle order played some outstanding innings and Mutombodzi and Tiripano took the game close with some entertaining knock but they fell short by just 4 runs. If the top order played well and gave them a good start they would have chased the total.
3285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Sad News]: Nigerian shot dead after resisting robbers access to crypto phone on: March 03, 2020, 08:47:27 PM
Of course, in the middle of the act, there was a revelation that Mr. Iroro Wisdom Ovie's cell phone had $10,000, but I don't believe the group's initial intention was $10,000.
Are you claiming that it was not a robbery and it was politically motivated and if that is the case it is a different story altogether but the reports coming out are different and i wont be believing everything what the news says as i have first hand experience about what a newspaper says and the reality of things but here in this case the news that is coming out says that one his friend knew about his BTCitcoins stored in his phone and while they entered his house to rob him he was able to identify the buglers and hence they shot him.
3286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 03, 2020, 07:55:56 PM
The selectors are experimenting way too much with newbies in my opinion.
Giving opportunities for new players is not bad when the senior players are injured and that is how they built a team for the future, unfortunately they did not perform like expected as the wicket was new for them and it is a learning experience for the youngsters, if they would have performed we will never talk about their experimentation but i am sure they put forward the best team possible and they failed miserably.
3287  Economy / Economics / Re: Can corona virus or any other epidemic disease can collapse Banking? on: March 03, 2020, 07:08:47 PM
I can see a significant inflation here if Corona Virus issue continued.
The economic impact cannot be determined right now because it is spreading to different countries and if they are not able to control the spread then it will have a major impact on the economy globally, even now the stock market is badly affected with the news of outbreak to Italy and other European countries and it will hit the manufacturing sector and it will have a major impact on the economy and i am expecting a recession in the coming months if it is not quarantined in time.
3288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum very volatile on: March 03, 2020, 05:41:56 PM
For me it is not surprising that the price of ethereum is very volatile, because indeed the volume of ethereum is very high and the demand
for ethereum is increasing. Therefore it is not surprising that ethereum is the best altcoins until now, ethereum prices are now beginning
to experience an increase of about 5%.
The high demand and volatility in the coins does not have any correlation unless someone is pumping and dumping the coins, you really cannot consider ETH as a coin or a currency simply because it is not created for that aspect, it is a token creating platform and the ICO days are over and unless there is an utility for ETH you cannot see a huge rally.

This is also a sign that ethereum prices will soon rise even more dramatically than current prices,
I predict the possibility of ethereum approaching halving can be priced at $ 500.
The halving is happening in BTCitcoin and what does it has to do with ETH Tongue.

whether the prediction of colleagues above that ethereum can reach $ 500 will be seen its development in the next few days.
It is just a speculation that the price would rally as an speculative asset and you cannot sit on top of that prediction and expect the market to rise like that Wink.
3289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Sad News]: Nigerian shot dead after resisting robbers access to crypto phone on: March 03, 2020, 03:38:44 PM
I don't want to bring this news, but I guess everyone in crypto should understand the dangers whether online and offline. And another sad thing is that the man doesn't have $10k, but rather $400.
Also, we need not to tell anyone of our bitcoin stash, otherwise others might be tempted to robbed us as what happen here.
It is a really unfortunate event and to loose your life because someone you know wanted to rob that from you. This is where you should be aware of whom you are disclosing about your investment and how much you hold as this is not the first horrific incident regarding robbers targeting crypto investors, i have seen these kind of similar incidents from Netherlands and the UK in the past. Morale for everyone is never flaunt your wealth even to your friends or in social media.
3290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 03, 2020, 02:36:55 PM
Anyway, no need to fear for Adesanya if he could survive for 1-2 rounds. I have noticed that Romero loses his stamina quickly and in few rounds is not as quick as he used to be. If your could counter his wrestling in round 2+, you can count yourself as a winner by points.
Israel Adesanya wanted Yoel Romero to be his next opponent to show that he is a stud and defeat him cleanly and it will not be an easy fight as none of his opponents even if he got defeated had a good week after the fight as he is a really tough fighter and majority were close fights including the second Robert Whittaker fight and Paulo Costa and i thought Yoel Romero could have edged in those fights but the judges saw a different one.

Yoel Romero fought two 5 round fights against Robert Whittaker and i am sure he had the experience now to have a decent pace in the first two rounds to reserve energy for the final three rounds and the biggest difference will be the reach difference and it will be an exciting fight and i am expecting a war once again.

3291  Economy / Reputation / Re: Chipmixer sponsor dangerous untrustworthy members and Racists and unfair treat? on: March 03, 2020, 01:27:21 PM
I think chipmixer owner should come .I will ask him why such a large proportion of chipmixer advertisers are sponsored that also trust abuse other members and why most are from  same pool of people that share merit and trust inclusions.
I will ask him to see the highest quality posters and most trustworthy members then show me.
The reason they appointed a campaign manager is to take care of these activities and he is doing a good job and they are satisfied with the way the campaign is run and the selection process is always the campaign managers discretion and there is no point in crying about that.

Suppose you are the campaign manager of Chipmixer i would like to see your list of high quality posters in your opinion and then i will respond to your nepotism and racist bias claims in a forum where everyone is known as alias behind a laptop Tongue Cheesy . I am seeing these kind of threads quite often and it is quite funny and cringe worthy to be frank and wanted to know your real story behind these claims Wink.
3292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: March 03, 2020, 12:05:58 PM
It is estimated around 65,000 spectators will pack in to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London) on 20th June 2020.
Anthony Joshua always had the skills to fill a stadium even if he faces journeyman fighters and hence it is not a big surprise that it will be another blockbuster show.

In my opinion it will not be a walkover for Joshua because Pulev has been the distance at least 13 times in his professional heavyweight career. Never seen Pulev fight but would be hard for anything to happen except a Joshua win either by points decision or TKO.
Kubrat Pulev is not known for his knockout power but he is a defensive boxer and has a really great jab and has an extensive amateur background and if Anthony Joshua tries the same game plan i am sure Kubrat Pulev will out point Joshua, he needs to be aggressive with his approach looking for a knockout rather than looking to win on points.
3293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any one know what will be the future of wazirx coin. on: March 03, 2020, 09:46:59 AM
It was on Binance and does have its own platform. I assume that this is a new coin and the volume is pretty interesting.
It is the native coin of the Wazirx exchange based out from India and it is the same token like Binance coin and recently they had a collaboration with Binance. I am not bullish on the coin but i do have a ton of coins i earned trading in that platform. Both of the exchange coins have the same usage of using in their exchange to reduce the trading fees and other than that i do not see a ton of valuation.

WRX is a utility token backed by WazirX exchange
The future of this Wazirx is determined by its platform
You are spot on, the advantage i see with Wazirx is their P2P platform where it supports
  • USDT/Indian Rupee
  • USDT/Turkish lira
  • USDT/Euro
  • USDT/Saudi Riyal
  • USDT/Nigerian Naira
  • USDT/Ukrainian Hryvnia
  • USDT/Russian ruble
  • USDT/Indonesian rupiah
3294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 03, 2020, 09:13:05 AM
ICC needs to open its eyes. Every year, close to 12 million USD is send to the Zimbabwe Cricket Board by the ICC. And most of this amount get stolen and the quality of cricket in Zimbabwe continues to decline. At the same time, promising sides such as Nepal and Malaysia are struggling due to the lack of funds. My advice is to suspend Zimbabwe for an infinite period of time, and distribute the funds among the associate nations.
If it was that easy to do ICC would have done that already, i think they have cut short the funding and degraded their status recently, it is not that easy to claim that the funds are stolen just like that, either you need some evidence to substantiate the proof to completely stop the funding, if not it will be against the contract they have, i guess they have a contract with the Zimbabwe cricket board regarding the funds.

Bangladesh lost two wickets because of their sloppy running between the wickets but Tamim Iqbal is still in the crease approaching his century against Zimbabwe and if they are able to score over 280 runs it will be a tough chase for Zimbabwe.
3295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 03, 2020, 07:01:37 AM
India has one of the best test captain who unfortunately could not perform this time. The newbies who were selected on the basis of their batting performance failed miserably and I do not think they will get another opportunity in the future. Bowling was always an issue. Indian bowlers are highly inconsistent and the in the end the team coach should rethink his strategy.
Usually Virat Kohli leads from the front with his performance and when he does India wins most of the time but once he is having trouble scoring runs the entire team is failing to win the match, a captain has the authority to select his time and you really cannot use that as an excuse for the failure because a captain can pick and choose which players he wanted in the team during the selection process and that is not a new authority bestowed upon the captains but it is a practice that is going on for decades .
3296  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Californian judge will let XRP lawsuit to proceed against Ripple on: March 02, 2020, 07:20:29 PM
My point is that cryptocurrencies were created to take advantage of the law's loopholes. Indeed, so the law could not sue someone in the cryptocurrency industry until they revised the code.
This is a wrong assessment, BTCitcoin is not created to take advantage of the loopholes but the rest of the coins in the market might be doing simply that to make money and to game the law Tongue. The problem with XRP as a security is that they are not registered in the US and since they are still selling the coins then they are liable to be prosecuted as per the law and how long this drama will continue is to be seen.
3297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: March 02, 2020, 04:25:15 PM
What will be happening right now if Coronavirus never took place to drag down cryto market due to economic affection? Still down thread or bullrun will still be kicking
If you are an investor you need to expect these sort of unexpected situations that would prop up every now and then especially natural disasters and global epidemic and if that happens the market would go down and you need to follow what is happening around the globe to understand how the market will react and here you want to go for a hypothetical situation on how the market would have reacted if everything was fine which does not make any sense Tongue.
3298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 02, 2020, 02:46:55 PM
Knew that India would lose but atleast expected 150 runs but they did not even put up a good fight. NZ on the other hand played brilliantly whether it's batting or bowling. Vihari and Pant did not even last for 2-3 overs today and Jadeja also proved to be a disappointment. Am wondering if I am seeing new players or the experienced ones have forgotten to bat. 124 is a shame!
In a Test match if the top order fails miserably and how long the rest of the batting line up could face the ball the next morning and i was not expecting India to score a lead of 150 runs because the way in which the New Zealand bowlers were targeting the Indian batsman troubling them with short balls i had a clue it will be over withing the first two hours and with a small total to chase New Zealand ended the match and gave India some rest  Cheesy. Kyle Jamieson is the find of the series for New Zealand as he will be the much needed all rounder they lacked all this while.
3299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III on: March 02, 2020, 01:13:41 PM
~snip
Why is it a bad idea? It's the best possible thing he can do for his career right now win or lose. He'd be stupid to turn down the option of a contractual obligated fight where he gets to win his belt back. This is the best option he has right now and fighting lesser fighters is pointless. Less cash and no belt. If he loses then he'll move on to fighting those but if he wins then he'll likely go for the big blockbuster fights and it will likely be the winner of the Joshua/Pulev fight unless Tyson also has a rematch clause.
In my opinion a fight against Tyson Fury will give you the same outcome, they both fought for around 60 minutes in those fights two fights and apart from the huge two shots in the first fight there was nothing that showed that Wilder could land his lucky punch that could knock out Tyson Fury and the smart move could be Wilder challenging Anthony Joshua as i think it is a much better fight style wise and we all know that Anthony Joshua was avoiding the Wilder fight and with this loss if he pushes for a fight for the belt then they might put that fight together and if he wins those titles then he should challenge Tyson Fury once again. The only reason i do not want to see an immediate rematch is because, historically none of the fighters who had an undefeated record never came back and fought the same after getting defeated.

Check out these boxers how their career turned out after suffering their first loss, Prince Naseem Hamed, Michael Grant, Adrien Broner and there might be many but they never fought the same and they were once invincible and after the defeat they were never the same. How Wilder will recover from this loss is a mystery until he fights again and proves and with all the lame excuses he is putting out i am not sure he will learn about his mistakes and start to learn new techniques.
3300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 02, 2020, 11:59:30 AM
As we all know, porn sites are at the top which are frequently visited by people in the internet world. So in my opinion if a porn site accepts
payments with bitcoin it will make bitcoin more popular and used by many people.Because transactions on porn sites we need privacy and
bitcoin can provide a solution.
I am sure the porn sites will accept BTCitcoin as it is the best solution for them when the rest of the payment processors have some sort of restrictions accepting these kind of activities and majority of them closes the account without warning and a simple google search says that there are sites that are accepting BTCitcoin for their premium membership.

But on the other hand we have to admit porn sites can make the image worse in the eyes of some people.
So in your opinion, if a porn site accepts payments with bitcoin can make bitcoin more popular or will it be dangerous for the future of bitcoin
because it brings negative effects?
If a business accepts BTCitcoin because they think it is better than the rest of the payment processors why would you think that it will create a bad impact on the market, it is a positive sign that it can be used to trade a commerce.
