3281  Economy / Economics / Re: On what way would you know that your investing on the right business? on: February 02, 2017, 05:02:56 AM
Trading bitcoin does not get you this active, it keeps you watching the coinmarketcap but if you try some altcoin it gets you engaged and you gain more experience in trading a short while. it also opens u up to information on innovation in cryptocurrency.
3282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] CoinMarketCap Needs to get their shit together ? on: February 01, 2017, 08:18:30 PM
I wanted to paste the link of a thread where CMC purposes and processes were discussed but towards the end of the thread you could see some lobby of projects owners to just appear on their website. This is where I might get confused on what the website stand for again
3283  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: please I need your help to recover my wallet, I forgot my second password on: February 01, 2017, 10:29:04 AM
I am not sure it can be recovered. What is the fate of such lost coin? Such a kind of address if it cant be accessed after some years, the coin should be sent back to an active blockchain by the wallet management, probably at cheaper auction or raffle. IMO
3284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin is not that easy on: February 01, 2017, 09:48:45 AM
Introducing Bitcoin had been easier than before.  There are lots of written documents and presentation that tells about it.  Even case studies on Bitcoin.  So i do not think that introducing it is that difficult.  What difficult is, making people understand what bitcoin is, persuading them to use it instead of the traditional payment processor. It is the interest of people that is hard to get in my opinion, but still this case depends on how well you have played your aces here.

In depth knowledge should not be targeted for on a newbie introduction. There is some footage on Youtube that is presentable, and flipping through some several websites like Bitfinex et. all. should transport the picture of "something big incoming"

For the curious some Question & Answers section following days afterwards makes sense to me. Learning curve, timespans and all of that.
I think it will still be very difficult to introduce bitcoin. In developing countries and are unfamiliar with the system would be very difficult to make people believe with bitcoin, because they already have a real doctrine that bitcoin has many risks. I've also tried to introduce a bitcoin to some of my friends in the community, but they know bitcoin for drug transactions and a lot of scam so it is not safe, although there are some who are interested but most claimed are not interested. I think most people need to see proof that they believe in, and it was very difficult. But I'm sure as time goes bitcoin will be able to take sympathy of many people.
It took a friend more than 8 months to convince me to adopt bitcoin. First, It doesn't make sense to me, like what is internet  money? I barely hear it on the TV or radio. Secondly, my challenge was where can I get this so called bitcoin. Then i was introduced to bitcointalk, my first week was the complain of spamming  and terrible bully harassing me on the forum. I got little education from my friend, but he thought I was intelligent enough to get along with the forum. He thought I can make a better use of the 24g data plan I make every month. At the end of my first  4 months, I was already trading with up to 1 bitcoin without bringing any money to the forum. Now i dont need anyone to advise me to put more money into bitcoin
What is my main idea about the story? You may never get it easier to introduce people to bitcoin, but if you really want to help someone keep introducing them, to make it easier introduce to the smart ones. More also introduce bitcointalk, bitcointalk makes the education on bitcoin easier

Being a mod id a thankless task. Whatever you do , someone will object and try to trash you.
Don't they get paid for doing it? I thought a percentage of forum income is used to pay the mods. I see no reason somebody would want to become a mod for free, it's a time-consuming job.

Lol somebody is crazy about your mom, she must be hot.
really time consuming. If u are the type that barely read the topics here and want to get involve just because of the pay. Grin. u are joking. I also notice how vast they are in block technology and other latest ICT info.

3287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to cashout your bitcoin now? on: January 31, 2017, 11:32:21 AM
Was just wondering actually, cause like every 'shop' that buys your btc takes so much percentage on it... Any better suggestions?

I think that would be depend on the country you belong. Due to not all country had the same way of accepting the concepts of bitcoin. Like here in my place we had rebit.ph where we can cash out our bitcoin anytime we want.
The country determines the cash out methods readily available and the security level of any of the methods you want to engage. Some methods transaction fee are also cheaper than the others, consider these
Each trading and exchange websites have varied price, we need to select the highest one to profit more.
I dont understand what you mean?
3288  Economy / Economics / Re: On what way would you know that your investing on the right business? on: January 31, 2017, 04:28:39 AM
I dont know how much you understand white papers, they can help. consider the people behind the projects also. I dont do research but have a friend who, find trusted friends or mentors who can take their time to research and approve a profitable business, their experience can make them see flaws of a project. Investing is still a risk use your spare fund and know the right time to cash out

Most projects that engage in signature campaign request for investment in bitcoin and most member of this forum own bitcoin at different amounts. more so member of the forum due to experience can also recognize profitable projects. If most project fail to get approval from this forum or to get crowdfunding at great fraction here, have noticed they struggle to achieve it
3292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: January 30, 2017, 12:04:24 PM
There are case in some countries if u got so much from western union money transfer,u must be willing to be extort by the bank managers, even with all the required criteria. Now there are bitcoin exchanges that will deposit directly to you bank account just in few minute without stepping out of your house, less labour. No record by government or banks on your transaction from outside the country(anonymity of transaction)
3293  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How saturated is the betting market. on: January 30, 2017, 11:39:02 AM
Hello. I know I maybe come a bit late but I would like to know how saturated the bitcoin casino market is.
Is it worth investing in a decent provably fair site with an original betting system? Kinda like a crash lounge like bustabit?
Or am I going to lose my money and won't even be able to compete with the big sites?
Are u planning to create a new sites or cryptocurrency for betting ? cos there are few around with there differences? find out about the present ones but if you have a different Idea make it known, you might find people to help you out with your idea on this forum. you can even invest in some new projects that are yet to be launched.
3294  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a bot for trading? on: January 30, 2017, 03:58:26 AM
Well, I did not use to play trading bot, because I think it is very harmful and unpleasant. I better use it alone to play trading, because it can train me to become more intense in analyzing a coin prices, and it will enhance my ability and experience.
I have not seen it before let alone use but wonder the bad impression about it.What is harmful and unpleasant about trading bot? Some people even name it Illegal, which internet law bind it ?
3295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Withdraw BTC if underage? on: January 29, 2017, 06:20:10 PM
Meet up face-to-face. Find Bitcoiners in your area and I'm pretty sure there would be people interested in purchasing Bitcoins off you. Else, you can find someone on this forum that will do mail in cash for BTC for you.

An example of a platform that does this is localbitcoins and they have a pretty good escrow system.
I was corrected few days back by one of the moderators on how dangerous it is to make transaction with someone on this forum, so just be very careful or get a recommendation from a trusted member by PM
3296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Wallet Software? on: January 29, 2017, 02:45:16 PM
You did good by making the decision to stop using online wallets because they are indeed risky to use. If you want to download the whole blockchain then simply go with Bitcoin Core otherwise Electrum should be the best choice. If you have big amounts for daily uses then a hardware wallet If its for long term storage then paper wallets.
I pretty much gave you the details that the link posted above includes in a simpler way to read but you should definitely check it out.
I think online wallet may not be the best but your alternatives has its deficiencies too, online wallet is the most engaged. Also Downloading the whole blockchain might be heavy and not the best advise, however electrum provide an escape.
3297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much BTC is required for trade? on: January 29, 2017, 01:46:41 PM
Experience will teach you. if u lose in a project u put a lot and profit in a project u put a little then you will know better how to manage the risk and learn about each project. It is better to start with a project early,at low price and have a target. Start with what is affordable.
3298  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone interested in learning how to trade bitcoin for a living? on: January 29, 2017, 01:15:45 PM
Is there anyone who has tried this.?
The thing is if he has that much potential then why is he looking to do it like this.?

to me i think it is not a good idea to depend on bitcoin for living, because bitcoin is not yet a stable currency and its price can fell down anytime and there can be remarkable increase in the  price of bitcoin, so i think depending on bitcoin for living is not a good idea.
I dont understand your Idea also, I understand the idea of not removing from a traded fund. I have read severally on this forum while it is encouraged to devote more time to bitcoin than ever, that it pays. No one is still not saying how profitable a 14btc lecture worth.
3299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: January 29, 2017, 06:17:40 AM
You can only know this if you have insider information like you are close with dev or whales. Other than that, you are only speculating and can never pin point exactly when a coin is going to be pumped. What you can do os keep a close market watch of all the coins you want to trade. That way, you can see trends or be able to pick up news that can lead to a pump.
Inside information says it all. The pump on bitcoin is different from other altcoins. The factors are still obvious, still predictable and follow the trends.
3300  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why bitcoins illegal ???? on: January 29, 2017, 05:43:36 AM
in some country there are no laws to use of bitcoin transactions and government can't control  it
Bitcoin is not illegal in some context but for it to used without fear of legal punishment, it will needs some legal binding. Most illegal use are on anonymous browsers, through darknet sites and purchase illegal goods such as guns, drugs etc. Such portray the bad use and if such transactions are caught they should be punished.
