3281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lottery's defense to not paying a huge winning. on: October 29, 2022, 11:54:42 PM
As what the court will rule, give us the proof that some irregularities has happen here before making the final decision. So as this point we really don't know who are telling truth.

But as far as I know, there are people that are extremely lucky or may have developed a system that they can win multiple times in a lottery. So this might be the case here, the guy could be very lucky indeed if he has won multiple times already and so the lottery company has to pay him his winnings.

3282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: October 29, 2022, 11:34:11 PM
^^ Richard Commey might be tehnical for Loma though, but look at how he destroyed him, hehehe. And the thing with Loma is that he has subtle punches that was really awkward, like intentionally punching you in the gloves or just pulling your hands down with his own hands that sometimes his opponents doesn't know how to react and even how technical you are, in this case Ortiz, who is still very young and yet very "technical" already, he might be in this position that he can respond and then Loma catching him off guard and score a knockout win.
3283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear market Survivals on: October 29, 2022, 11:14:43 PM
Any coin that survives this bear market will do well come the bull season

Yeah, probably 90% of the project that survived the crypto winter might do good in the bull run. But it's going to be tough, I mean we still have a whole year in 2023, so they will be tested. I think not only projects but mid to lower exchanges (that does not scam), will have a low rate of survival.

And the thing with this coins is, if you have been lucky to invest in bearish market, hold and then in the bull run they become of the hottest projects and investors pouring their money on it, for sure it's going to be a big windfall for you. So let's continue to find those gems right now,  Grin
3284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jermell Charlo vs Tim Tszyu - Jan 28, 2023 on: October 29, 2022, 10:59:06 PM
Tim is a huge underdog in this fight. This is the first time he is facing such experienced opponent.

Yes, last time I checked, Tim is 3:1 underdog in this fight, not as bad as I thought initially, but yeah, since this is the champion that he is going to face, Charlo has all the advantage as far as experience goes.

Dont know, maybe he should have one more intermediate fight before he is testing himself in a title fight. He could have ask for an advice from his father, but his father is not involved into Tim's careers, as Tim said that he wants to achieve everything himself (like his dad). He says that if father is involved, then everyone would think that he has achieved everything only with fathers help. I think Charlo gonna win by UD here, he is more matured, had better opponents.

Tim is rank #2 - WBC
#3 - IBF
#2 - WBO

He is unrank though by WBA. But it doesn't matter, he has gain the respect of several organizations that he is on the top of the list for mandatory for their champion Charlo. So I guess he deserves it from the get go to become the next challenger for the belt.
3285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on: October 29, 2022, 10:44:56 PM
Can bitcoin go down to 10k$ this year. The fluctuation of the crypto space now is dragging the coin, and I think is still going down more before it can regain it strength. So can it still go down or rise back to 60k$ this year? Let discuss

It might or might not, we really don't know. If it goes down to $10k, what will be your strategy? are you going to buy or not? that is the big question here.

As for $60k this year, it's already out of the question. If by chance we will go there, we need x3 of the current price and I don't think it's achievable at this point as we are in a bearish sentiments.

The catalyst for a eventual bull run is the halving, which is going to happen in 2024. So still very far if you are looking for a massive run. On the other hand, while waiting for it, all you can do is invest and buy and accumulate and then HODL.
3286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 29, 2022, 10:32:45 PM

They were already pretty good last year, finished 9th and they were just a new team considering it has been like 2 years or 3 years since Lebron left if I am not wrong, so its a whole rebuild project right now for them because after Lebron left they were horrible, and only after a few years they already have a decent team. That Donovan Mitchell move was a beast move, they really got a great player with him, and he is very young as well so the timing fits perfectly too. However, they are not "there" yet, they need to manage to find a way to get one more level higher. If they had one more star player, then they would be going for east title for sure, but right now as it is, they are a clear playoff team, but their second round depends on who they face.

4 years to be exact, if my memory serves me right, and still up to this day they are still picking up the pieces when Lebron left them, they even fire Ty Lue during that era isn't it? So they are still in the rebuilding phase, yes they have a good record last year, they also started very strong only to falter later.

And I would agree that it was great move for them to acquire Donovan Mitchell, Donovan needs a new home and he seems to be settling down already this early or he is such a great player that when surrounded with another good player he clicked immediately.
3287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 29, 2022, 10:22:20 PM
I like the Utah Jazz vs Grizzlies Memphis tomorrow.

The hot team Jazz came from a big loss against the Denver Nuggets, so they are playing a back to back game. They might be a bit tired but they will surely play hard to start winning again, they are a slight underdog at home but I'm thinking of taking the moneyline.

Yes, it will be a tough game for the Jazz, not sure about the Grizzlies game though, it's going to be a very difficult game for them even at home court but we will see. I won a bet on them against the Celtics last night, so yeah this is a back to back.

Nevertheless, I might go with them here as they are again a slight underdog at ML.
3288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to DCA when BTC crashing on: October 29, 2022, 10:11:08 PM
Lets be assumed

BTC Crashing 20000$ and 15000$ maximum . From 20000$ how to DCA?

You must be good at reading the charts if you want to DCA at the right points.

I think DCA though has nothing to do with reading the charts. It is strategy wherein you buy bitcoin at certain time, for example every week or every month with within your budget range regardless of the price.

When the prices are dropping you need to wait and see when the price are bouncing back.
Just when they are bouncing back you can buy them and wait to see how the price goes next.
If the price goes further down then again wait for it to recover and buy at lower prices and if it goes up then wait for price to bounce back downwards and take profit.

But I guess your point is that it's better to buy when the price is down, yes that is good. But then again, as I have said, it really depend on your budget size as you are not buying on a single prize point, but instead at different levels that you simply do it on a a "average", hence the term DCA.
3289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let me join the Bitcoin Forum on: October 29, 2022, 10:00:25 PM
I guess the timing of you entering the market could be good. The price is still very cheap and if your intention is to invest and make money and profit then you made the right now. I guess that is the first thing that you will get, financial freedom, meaning because of your investment on bitcoin, you will have a good cash flow and you can do whatever you want, buy things for your and for your family. So it's going to be a good experience for you down the line, invest and hold and then wait for the next bull run to enjoy your profit.
3290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Websites vs Casino Apps: Which Option is Better? on: October 29, 2022, 09:50:56 PM
Yeah, some of of are very traditional and uses casino websites because that's what they want. Screen is big and then the user experience is very different.

But there are many of us who are in the go and could be downloading the casino apps, which is faster.

So it's really up to the individual preference, personally I do like the play on my PC if and I have to choose.
3291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 29, 2022, 05:26:30 PM
Tyrese Maxey really felt the zone. Even the heat checks are sinking in.
9 out of 12 three-point shots, 15/20 field goals, 44 points, his new career high, and possibly one of the best games of his career.
Maybe even the Raptors fans did love this kind of performance. For the 76ers fans, it's a good sight, they know there will be players that will step up their game while Embiid is resting his knee.

Sadly, they will be playing back-to-back with an exhausted body tomorrow but so is their opponent Chicago Bulls.

Yes, congrats to him making a career high, it's good that he was still with the Sixers, he really improved a lot and could be their future.

How about the game of Mitchell and Caris Levert? scoring 40+ points against the Boston Celtics and a win in Overtime? Not sure when was the last duo who score that big in Boston Garden. I thought that the Celtics will win this game as they have taken the majority of the lead in the 4th, but the Cavs handcuffed Jayson Tatum, mostly double teaming him forcing outside pass. Good win by the Cavs.

The Cavs are definitely making some noise out in Cleveland.  Mitchell is doing his part and getting them wins, Love looks rejuvenated and ready to make a strong effort out there (I believe he's in a contract year and trying to score a new deal) and the other guys are all coming along.  I think they've got the chance to win against anyone every night due to their size and now with Mitchell, scoring capability.  I doubt anyone expected them to start off 4-1 though.  They're outperforming and for gamblers, that's great to see.  Smiley  I'm not sure how long they'll be able to keep up this momentum though.  I believe they're just catching people off guard because it's a new look team with a lot of talent and size.  At some point the league will figure out how to beat them.

True, they were the slight underdog in their game against the Celtics and so I put a bet on them at +5.5 and it's good that they win and it's really impressive on what Mitchell is doing for the Cavs right now as if he got something to proved in this season when he got traded.

And yeah that is the question, too early to rate them this good, but it they can maintain this level in the first half of the season which is very hard to do as teams as going to step up after 10 games or so. So let's see how far the the Cavs can go this season.
3292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: October 29, 2022, 05:00:20 PM
Here is the official weigh in

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Af2bBsdcx5M

Loma - 134.6 lbs
Ortiz - 134 lbs

Ortiz though looks weight drain, but for sure he will rehydrate after the weigh in. While Loma looks relax and smiling with the press and his fans. And I'm sure majority of us are very excited to see Loma once again and there are a lot of fights waiting for him, Devin Haney or Shakur Stevenson.
3293  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: October 29, 2022, 04:34:13 PM
Another good call sa Grizzlies vs Kings dahil nananalo ang Grizzlies 125-110.

3294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: October 28, 2022, 09:56:18 PM

Crawford is really in an odd situation if he remains a free agent. He is not Canelo that can easily jump to any promoters and networks but still dictates everything in the deal. If he fights the WBO number 1 contender, the undefeated banger Vergil Ortiz Jr., it will be promoted by Golden Boy and DAZN will televise it. Highly risky for Bud with no legacy returns except money. Ortiz is a superstar in the making. Huge fanbase and is a very charismatic guy. I believe Crawford-Ortiz will beat all of Spence's previous PPV buys. But Crawford can also move up to 154 and hunt for his 4th division title but he seriously needs a promoter to depend on.

I'm also thinking the same way, I also thought that a unification fight between Crawford and Spence is the next thing to happen when Bud haven't re-sign with Bob Arum. We all know that Arum is not inclined in these situation but without him, Crawford's alone and nothing to lean on in these times, also his situation has gotten worse because Spence's camp is playing on him. He badly needed a promoter and Mayweather is there ready to accept Bud under his banner to help him in the business side. I hope he will seek help to make this happen because he is getting older.

Aside from that, I think it's much better for him to fight Charlo in 154 pounds rather than risking his career for getting nothing while fighting the #1 contender, Ortiz.

Yeah, Mayweather really wants to sign Bud. The problem with Mayweather Promotions nowadays is it is just becoming one of the dummy promotions for PBC who's hiding under a managerial license. Mayweather is not the same guy anymore that wanted his promotion to become big like De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions. And we also do not know how much Bud trusts Mayweather knowing the guy is a very close friend to Spence's team like Ellerbe his former manager and Al Haymon the owner of PBC.

Jermell Charlo the undisputed champ of 154 is from PBC too and he already said that he won't give Bud a shot at his undisputed belts. Charlo a very close friend of Spence wants Bud to work his way up to the rankings and earn his shot. So Bud can either get a tune-up at 154 or request the WBO to give him a shot at the WBO 154 belt which Charlo can vacate if it's still reluctant. It seems like these boys of PBC are trying to stop Bud from becoming the first-ever undisputed champion in 2 (Spence at 147) or 3 (Charlo at 154) divisions in this 4 belt era.

Money-wise DAZN has the deepest pocket in boxing right now. They got the biggest money-makers in boxing Canelo, AJ, Usyk, and potential future superstars Vergil Ortiz and Ryan Garcia. Bud can sign with them but it might also mean no more Spence and Charlo.

Really? I didn't know that Crawford's situation is much deeper than what I've thought. That's indeed too bad because all his years are wasted being under Bob Arum's management because Bob didn't let Bud build his legacy. Now, he is being rejected to have a shot in an undisputed fight both in welter and super welter. But I don't understand, why is it a bad idea if Bud sign under DAZN? Enlighten me mate.

To be fair, Bob Arum did his job well. Legacy-wise, Crawford's credentials are also assured in the Hall of Fame once he retires, unlike Spence who needs to work more on his career if he wants to be remembered and enters the Hall of Fame. Good friends Spence and Charlo avoiding Crawford is more of a personal and political issue.

If Crawford signs with DAZN, the network might not allow Showtime or Fox to solo-televise a possible Crawford-Spence or Crawford-Charlo. DAZN will want a joint network deal which is normal when 2 superstars collide like Pacman-Mayweather televised via HBO and Showtime. Last year, PBC's undefeated WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo (Jermell's twin) and undefeated former champion Jaime Mungia of Golden Boy Promotions failed to materialize because PBC do not want a joint promotion deal. PBC wanted to solo promote the event and a rematch clause if Charlo losses but they will let GBP solo promote the possible rematch. PBC is the hardest to work with when it comes to co-promotion fights. Thus Crawford signing with DAZN might mean goodbye to Errol Spence and Jermell Charlo fights.

But personally, if I were Crawford, I will talk to Matchroom and signs a deal if possible.

Yeah, I think if ever Crawford will want to sign a promotional contract, it might be better with Matchroom. I think with Eddie Hearn, who knows, maybe he can get a good deal and push the fight for him against Spence.

Legacy wise, it might be better if we will see this fight going to happen next year. But if not, the longer the delay, the more Crawford will be at a disadvantage here and I will say that we might not see this fight anymore.

And I think if this fight is going to be made, there could be someone in between to be a  mediator. And it could be Eddie Hearn with his influence right now.
3295  Economy / Speculation / Re: what is the bottom of this bear market BTC on: October 28, 2022, 09:29:21 PM
Looking at the current price in the crypto market, show that we are out of the lowest price in this season because the price of Bitcoin just moved to $20k, which the green light is still dominating in the market to alert investors that the bull season is near. Since the price has moved to this current price, show that people will soon enter bull run that will make them to achieve a good profits from their investment, and have a good time to prepare ahead for another bear run to come again.
A slight increase in the market, especially in Bitcoin is inconclusive for a bull run, as a decline could still occur in the near term before a real bull run hits the market or in Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin at this time is still not too far from the lowest price that has ever happened, so there is no need to conclude that the bearishness is over. Now the condition is still bearish and not over yet, although everyone expects this bearish to end soon.

Yes, still uncertain if we have reached the bottom of this bear market or not at $17,500. Sometimes I think that we have floor it, however, we still have 2023 for next year and it could be a bear market still.

So it's better to just be prepared for everything that 2024 will throw in our way, it could be that we will see another lower lows, or even $10k. Or the price action will remain in this way, sideway pattern around $20k'ish with some moment wherein the price will bounce back. Bearish season will end after the block halving and it is schedule to happen in 2024. Many things can happen along the way and just be ready in any case.
3296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Growing Money is Knowledge on: October 28, 2022, 09:00:09 PM
I learnt recently that if you know the purpose of something and pursue it, excellence is inevitable. That's why couldn't see this alone because what is this wisdom?
👇
Making Money is action.

Of course, if you have the knowledge but if you don't take actions then how can you grow your money. So we should take action, and whether we make the correct decision or not, it's up to us to adjust.

Keeping Money is behavior.

Attitude, we need to be very positive that we can make our money grow continuously and have multiple sources. So we will not rest, we will go on and find other ways to make more money.

Growing Money is Knowledge.

And as we mature and gain knowledge and wisdom, then we should execute it with perfection.

I don't think that keeping money is a bad behavior too, what is not good is that you enslaved yourself with money that it become your focus. Look at how the billionaires are, they have money and yet they go on sharing and become philanthropic.

So you just have to balance everything in life, you will have a good life and your family if you have good source of money flowing.

And the best thing is that we have crypto now that will have us that opportunity.
3297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 28, 2022, 08:38:08 PM
This might interest us, boxing fans, hehehe,

Quote
Representatives for Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia are inching toward a deal for the undefeated rivals to square off in a 136-pound fight at some point in January.

According to a report Monday night from Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix, pay-per-view distribution is the significant obstacle that has prevented Davis and Garcia from finalizing their agreement.

https://www.boxingscene.com/report-davis-garcia-agree-framework-january-fight-ppv-distributor-sticking-point--169959

Again just like the other fight, the sticking point is the network that is going to air this fight. Davis in on Showtime, while Garcia is on ESPN.

I do hope that they can meet halfway so that this fight is going to be made and for sure this will be another blockbuster fight for early next year.

It's all about money and if they can meet halfway, then the fight may proceed, we don't know yet if there's already a negotiation behind but for sure it will be announce or be leak around the web, let's wait for any update and see how things will be finalize.

The said fight has been in limbo for months but the fighters is keeping them alive through this social media accounts and if I'm not mistaken, there was a confrontation in a club wherein this two has some sort altercation. And then they go back to their twitter and fire back at each other.

I don't want to preempt everything, because this is a big fight even though they don't have any belts in the line. I said I don't want to preempt it's because of the Crawford vs Spence fight wherein as a fan we thought that it's already lock in until we find out that Crawford will have a fight this fight not name Crawford.

So let's see and wait till they settle down the sticking point on which network are going to televised this fight.

And Ryan further this with this statement,

Quote
“I want to fight Tank and Tank wants to fight me,” said Garcia. “This fight is what boxing needs right now! I accepted all the terms on my side and instructed my team to get it done exactly as offered. The fans deserve this fight. Our sport needs this fight.

“We gotta get this BS figured out. This should have been the best couple of months in boxing.  Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford fell apart. Me and Tank running into issues. That’s not what boxing is supposed to be about. Respectfully, celebrity boxing should not be defining our sport.

“Everyone talks about player empowerment in the NBA and other sports leagues. It’s time to have a real conversation about player empowerment in pro boxing.

“I want this fight for my career and, real talk, my mental health. The guys in charge can make this happen. Don't let this break down. I’m asking on behalf of everyone who loves the most beautiful sport in the world.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/ryan-garcia-says-hes-accepted-terms-tank-davis-fight-we-gotta-get-this-bs-figured-out--170043

To some extend Ryan is saying the truth here, I mean if a fighter wants to fight someone, then his manager or network affiliation should try their best to set things up. Unfortunately, unlike any other sports, in boxing there are a lot of stumbling block and sticking point as far as negotiations is concern.

And just like the Crawford vs Spence that falls apart, we don't want to miss this fight between him and Tank and for sure there will be a demand for it.
3298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler who betrayed his friend's trust on: October 28, 2022, 08:16:38 PM
Of course our first reaction is to really look for your friend and get the split money, after all this is what you have plan right? Nevertheless, Kelvin has run around with the money already and maybe by the time he caught up with him the money might be gone for good.

So obviously there will be a problem right there, friendship might have severed already because you have trusted him and unfortunately greed takes over. I'll probably let him go but it's going to be over.

And there could be some individual that will go to the extend to hurt the Kelvin physically, to be honest.

3300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: October 28, 2022, 07:36:41 PM
Losing to Ortiz in this fight is a very slim possibility because for me Loma is on a mission of reclaiming the belts he once have and i also think that he will never be overconfident on this one and make sure that he will do the job with convincingly as this win will make him the frontrunner to fight Haney for the unified belts.

Though Ortiz is undefeated but his opponent were nobody so and talent-wise, he is not on the same level with Loma and with that being said, i'm betting for Loma to KO Ortiz, just hope that he will not show mercy on his opponent like he did with Richard Commey.

Chances of Loma loosing to Lopez wasnt that high either, and mane predicted that Teofimo would be "just another step" in Lomas career. We all know how this fight ended. One of the judges even gave only 1 round to Loma (but I dont agree with such decision). Ortiz does not look as impressive as other Lomachenko opponents were. But Lomachenko and his country is in the middle of war. I did not wanted to bring politics in here, but that nervous situation could easily hard Lomachenko attitude tomorrow.

Or the war in the background could rally Loma to bring home the glory for his country?

Just like what Usyk did, it was a tough fight against Joshua, but he had to win the last 3 rounds in that fight. After round 9, we thought that Joshua has the mentality and the momentum to steal the win, but Usyk did deeper and make a huge comeback in that fight.

So maybe Loma will also be inspired by his countryman and so will be extra motivated not to lose to a relatively unknown boxer in Ortiz?
