3301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold forum on: May 31, 2019, 12:20:43 PM
I thought gold and cryptocurrency people had more in common.    I am still into metals, though if I have any extra funds , every single penny goes to crypto, not wasting it on metals anymore. Crypto is the future.

No point to make comments like you are regretting why investing much in gold. Gold was the most place people invested then.

Yes gold and cryptocurrency are not the same. Gold is natural resources from gold while cryptocurrency is human creation but it is now seen as the digital gold especially bitcoin because of high value it is providing.
3302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone explain to me the motive behind airdrops? on: May 30, 2019, 01:08:31 PM
Airdrop is a form of marketing of the project. It creates awareness and build more supporters on the project. Of course, a new project needs a community that will keep discussing, building hype unintentionally, and expectation for the coin. The project can ride on that to succeed if it is a good one.
3303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: May 30, 2019, 12:31:23 PM
It is very profitable like any other trading pattern like scalping and swinging, they all depend on what you want and your strategy on how to get it. One thing about day trading and also scalping is that you are likely to be making profit everyday or losing everyday too  Shocked

use a simulator first to know what strategy would be good for you.

Do you mean demo practicing by simulator?
3304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [BTC] Trading Competition - Profits recorded as part of the platform's debt on: May 30, 2019, 09:51:56 AM
You should try to refresh the page because the BTC has been credited to your balance.

Let's say at the end of the competition, you have 1.5BTC in your balance. It means that we'll owe you 0.5BTC. They will be pay as soon as possible with the futures fees during the next months.
please tell me where I can see the balance that I have, because I have repeatedly refreshed, but I have not got the bitcoin balance on my trading account.

This user is suppose to come back to confirm if he or she has seen the balance as you directed so that others would know how genuine your platform is. I think that is needed.
3305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The BEST BOOKS to learn how to invest in crypto? on: May 30, 2019, 08:58:48 AM
Crypto is still new in the system and then not regulated yet, so no guiding principles certain for it that will determine what moves it for sure. This has made it difficult for a book to be written on it, at least I have not heard. What I know is that some researches are going on and some students are writing thesis on it (like I have read some in this forum).

I know what books you can find are basically books in forex trading.
3306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A beginner's guide to esports betting on: May 29, 2019, 10:46:36 PM

I don't try sport betting because it is no completely luck based and also lot of manipulation on the games.

Grin I think there is also a little bit of luck in sports betting. For example, talking about soccer, a weak team might be awarded a penalty kick and if it is scored that could be called luck.
3307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: BVN CAPITALS LIMITED on: May 29, 2019, 05:22:12 PM
Your choice is your furture, start to earn 1.1% daily and your princple will return at the end of term.

This sounds like a gambling stuff, ponzi or faucets. This is not just reliable to earn money. Either you finally can't withdraw what percentage has been accumulated.
3308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There isn't always a clear reason why BTC went up or down on: May 29, 2019, 04:39:05 PM
Imagine 3 whales with 1000 btc each decide to sell bitcoin and by chance they do so at the same time. Of course the price will tank and people will wonder why,

This I think can be one good reason for a drop or rise in bitcoin price because either it will create fear or anxiety in the market.

bots will follow and so on.

I don't see how bots can be added as a possible factor to influence the market except you mean they will instantly be triggered and follow the whale's order.
3309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I start scalping with a 500$? on: May 29, 2019, 04:14:37 PM
My suggestion is that you don't have to invest the whole money in only a coin because that can be risky, it is only btc that I think you can do such with because it is the rise and fall of cryptocurrency.

As for scalping, the strategy is lower time frame you can be targeting.
3310  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [2xHR] Trading Competition - Profits recorded as part of the platform's debt on: May 29, 2019, 03:51:47 PM
What can I do to prove my trust?

It is simply being honest in your dealings, don't try one inch to cheat any of the people that will patronize you in future, always have a good way of response. Again, you must have a genuine aganda here, good luck.
3311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common sports betting types on: May 29, 2019, 03:09:56 PM
Is straight bet the same thing as direct win you mean?
Like betting a particular team to win directly above the other team? If that is what you mean, I hardly bet directly because a team predicted to have a sure win do disappoint at times so I rather look for other options.
3312  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Caused Bitcoin to Jump 100%? on: May 28, 2019, 04:32:18 PM
As usual, there is always cause and effect. Bitcoin price has not risen at any year without attributory factor to it. Thus, despite that people are demanding more and think the trade war between US and China can also be traced to it because it created panic of cash flow and therefore, saving in bitcoin was emplored.
3313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop is more profitable than Social Media Bounty ? on: May 28, 2019, 03:49:13 PM
In airdrops, every member is given particular number of coins while in bounties rewards are given in stake based system.

They both to me are the same thing. They are distributed to the provided wallet and it stays there with or without any impact except for a lucky person if the project is good. In fact, airdrop is worse, most times the project is abandoned.
3314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this year be favourable to you? on: May 28, 2019, 11:09:35 AM
I don't know if this year has bring alot of luck to you?  It seems everything about cryptocurrencies is stagnated because of the continuously downfalls in pricing and I do believe that the only sector that is benefiting from the advent of cryptocurrencies is gambling industries . This year how much have you made so far in gambling?

I will just answer your question straight not withstanding whether on gambling or not. So far, this year has been favourable to me in so many ways but I won't disclose profit  Grin
3315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: May 28, 2019, 10:59:57 AM
Do you think, time spend on gambling is linked to gambling
addiction?

Yes, I strongly believe on this. The rate of time one spends on gambling determines how far he or she is addicted to it. Someone who see gambling as fun wouldn't spend much time on gambling but an addict is likely to spend much time and gamble on a daily basis.
3316  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinCasino.io | OFFICIAL on: May 27, 2019, 03:30:32 PM
Provable fair section is about to be added to the web site.

This is nice to hear and gamblers would like it more. I like your design already and the withdraw from spin. Nice innovative gesture you have on the site, do keep it up.

3319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODL HODL portfolio on: May 27, 2019, 03:51:12 AM
I have a very few amount of btc. I have always been proud of btc but I can't say same for my altcoin, they are not giving me joy. They are low caps, I thought they would bull but they have disappointed for now.
3320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [HELP] I need help and advice on: May 27, 2019, 03:34:21 AM
and I, feel the self-mistrust that is happening to me now.

so that self-confidence makes me pause in trading, and now I want to ask you for your opinion,

My opinion is you have to look into that thing that makes you have self-mistrust as you put it.
Could your mistrust be because of your trading plan, if it is not profiting you then change it. Look for a plan that will work for you and build your confidence on it.
