3301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla destroys bitcoin :-[ on: May 13, 2021, 03:13:41 PM
Be a man not a stupid, Elon Musk is using everyone for his benefits.

Correct. I don't know what game is Tesla playing, but all this sounds against the logic of their previous investment: selling some and telling they sold, now no longer accepting Bitcoin ... it already sounds like they've sold more than they've announced and now they're dragging the price down to buy back.

On the other hand, I think that the last correction is more related to what happens on stock market than to this not-that-important announcement (since, let's face it, how many would give up Bitcoin for a car?)
It seems Elon already sold BTC to DOGE since he knows that these stupid investors will follow all of his words so he is going to hard dump the DOGE at some points.

Elon Musk also can be the possible reason why we see a 10K dump on BTC price but since the market is more bigger than Elon musk's influence the price will get back to its position sooner.
3302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla destroys bitcoin :-[ on: May 13, 2021, 06:26:42 AM
Elon bought bitcoin earlier this year so he need som reasons to make profits from his bump so is using this as an opportunity to sell the bitcoin while he is accumulating Doge which can be clearly seen that he is promoting DOGE as payments so one day DOGE payments also will be halted because he thinks its a coin created for dogs not for humans then the price will fall after he sold his entire stocks.

Be a man not a stupid, Elon Musk is using everyone for his benefits.
3303  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance.us been weeks for verification phase? on: May 13, 2021, 05:31:24 AM
Wondering if anyone else has gone at least 3+ weeks and eventually got approved?

Mine has been taking forever.

I thought i could maybe try a different login and redo the verification, but once you get to the verification part, it says taxid already in use (not sure if just "disabling" the old stuck one would work)?

Or perhaps it just takes eons?
Whats the longest someone had to wait in the usa?

Any thoughts

Thanks in advance
You have no other choice than waiting, maybe you can ask the support about the pending issue so they may give more priority but the time is longer just because they are taking more time to verify it and also due to the increase in the traffic to their webstite.

Don't create more accounts with the same name even with other national ID which is going to put your account on risk in the future.
3304  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bustadice Signature campaign on Btt ending on May 16th : Wow.... on: May 12, 2021, 10:17:50 PM
It looks like these days  Closing gambling site Signature campaign is being Normal , From BitDice closing , and YoloDice now it is Bustadice that comes to End , is this Mean that Dice game is really not that competent now? and site owner decides to close their Advertising while others closed their Site totally .

Hope that Busta is only trying to make change and not will close their site, and soon will be back advertising with much better and new offering.
That could be the case but maybe there are some other things that they want to pursue that they need the funds to pay signature campaign for so they have to cut it off completely to concentrate on that project. I hope that they will come back someday though.
Bustadice is one of the crypto gambling sites with highest wagering amount in the stats and for a whle it stayed in the number one position as well of all crypto gambling sites not only the casino. Bustadice is closing their campaigns because the job of the campaign is saturating now so no need to keep their signatures anymore when they already become one of the reputable brand of their kind.
3305  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The urge to quit on: May 12, 2021, 07:59:38 PM
Perseverance is much important when you want to achieve something in your life, I never advice you to take such risk of doing trades with the money you left and there is no other source of income but if you feel that is the only way then prepare yourself to face anything and everything.

3306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Collation of Bitcoin ATM location on: May 12, 2021, 05:49:34 PM
What we are looking for is information regarding the locations of Bitcoin ATMs and the usage requirements/procedures.
It is possible only if someone who used that ATM personally should give such information because it is not even available on their respective websites and only few of Bitcoin ATMs are allowing people to sell their BTC and get USD or other fiat while most others are having just only the buying option.
3307  Economy / Economics / Re: US fuel pipeline hack / Ransomware / Impact on Crypto ? on: May 12, 2021, 07:40:53 AM
Maybe not going to affect cryptocurrency in terms of price and adoption in the long term but we can expect a short and sharp dump in the next following days if your assumption is right.

It is going to affect the US economically I guess because they say that they are the super power and having best security system which was broken due to this another incident.
3308  Other / Meta / Re: Why are "Likes" turned off in this forum? on: May 12, 2021, 05:15:43 AM
Facebook culture. Cheesy

If you like a comment just keep that it to yourself, no need to express whether you like it or not , can drop a merit if its worthy but I won't support to merit a post just because you like it but its okay since is subjective to the posts.

Privacy is important so move from facebook to the useful forums. Smiley
3309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg named his goat Bitcoin on: May 11, 2021, 07:04:20 PM
For some reasons it is asking me to login to facebook to continue and no luck even when tried on different browsers.

Facebook who knows the importance of privacy and data is going to be the next big asset of this world so he started collecting it for very long time now bitcoin is actually going against his idea so he wants to manipulate with his stupid strategies. Cheesy

But mark needs to know that facebook is almost died, now they are surviving with instagram!
3310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not made to apply taxes on it - BTC economic model is different on: May 11, 2021, 05:04:33 PM
Governments needs taxes so no need to use the decentralized technology to encourage the black money market. And every citizen supposed to pay taxes to their government for the development related things but they also need to collect the fair amount as tax, like less than 10% is accepted in overall but if a government is looking for 40 to 50% then there is nothing wrong with evading it.
3311  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin milestone from video game currency to corporate reserve currency in ten on: May 11, 2021, 01:54:44 PM
In other terms, from Pizza coin to Billionaire coin! Cool

Who would ever thought that bitcoin can reach 60K from zero in just 10-12 years?

It seems Satoshi is a time traveler that's why he knows that his idea got potential! Grin

3313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multi-coin wallets? on: May 11, 2021, 02:06:51 AM
I looked up HyperPay, which seemed good, but then there were a ton of bad reviews for it.
Its really a ad wallet, upon reading their recent reviews and people are complaining their cryptos while using their wallet and I can't able to find whether its open or closed source wallet so don't take such risks.

As mentioned above just go for the safest options while are hardware wallets.
3314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Snowden I own more bitcoin than anything else—but on: May 09, 2021, 05:13:28 PM
Its obvious that people are investing on bitcoin for the high returns and recent surge in the price not for the reason why it was actually created for while still adoption is adoption no matter what so these people who adopted bitcoin will know the value of privacy since I personally realized it after getting into bitcoin than become a bitcoiner. Smiley
3315  Economy / Economics / Re: Causes of downtown in the modern Economy on: May 09, 2021, 04:17:27 PM
Tighter monetary policy and rising interest rates will restrain domestic growth and reduce capital flows to emerging economies. The capital flows that were searching for yields in emerging economies when interest rates in high-income countries were close to zero will likely decline, moderating growth in countries with large external funding needs. In such an environment, a cyclical downturn is more likely than further acceleration or even stabilization of growth at current levels.
That slowdown may already be happening. The Purchasing Managers’ Index, which combines various indicators in the manufacturing sector (new orders, inventory levels, production, deliveries, employment), will fall in the region.
Globalization put some countries in the danger zone since countries with the money starts to steal the natural source of a poor country and importing the products to their country by this they are making money and also the country they invested also making some money but its not a complete revenue forever, it only feasible as long as the natural sources exists and the great example for this is African nations.

So any country can't stick to a particular policy, they just need to adopt the best for the people and not damaging the natural resources much.
3316  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: So, gate.io needs KYC from me before allowing withdrawals? on: May 09, 2021, 02:29:13 AM
Does gate.io need its users to mandatorily do the KYC before going for the withdrawals?

Especially if you're from the US, afaik in general KYC is pretty much mandatory. It's just that asking for the KYC at the point of withdrawal is definitely not the best way of doing it (in an ethical perspective).
Everyone should be ready to complete their KYC even when the centralized exchanges have certain limits for non-KYC users because they can hide under AML policy for doing this, but these kind of KYC should be basic like completing with a national ID.

Decentralization is trapped with centralized exchanges. Roll Eyes
3317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: buying bitcoin and the seeming impossibility of keeping anonymous on: May 08, 2021, 06:19:12 PM
Localcryptos doesn't have mandatory KYC means you can use a throw away email which created using the proxy network and buy the hardware wallet while surfing via TOR to avoid your IP, by the way why you need to worry about FBI as long as you are not doing anything illegal?
3318  Other / Meta / Re: Spending smerits as you earn them. on: May 08, 2021, 03:46:37 PM

Inactive merit sources should be replaced with a new one, IMO.

I don't know what is the process of sending smerit per merit sources but it seems sending 20+ smerit in one post isn't looking good, it might reasonable if that 4-5 smerit in one post, my question is, are they tired of distributing on it?
Number of merits for a post is subjective and it depends on the merit sources and their monthly allocations, but all they claim is they don't find enough quality posts to merit them, so time can be the major factor not their are tired I guess.

WOW! Thank you very much. The funny thing is that I wasn't expecting to get any single merit when I created the thread, as I was asking a question and just wanted to exchange opinions, but look at how it's turned out.

When luck is on your way then nothing can stop it, it will happen how it is supposed to be. Wink
3319  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Dumb newbie, help please! on: May 08, 2021, 06:35:21 AM
Most of the exchanges allows the traders to do internal transfers for free or with very little fee since this is an off-chain transactions. But since you incorrectly selected send to another OKEX exchange the transaction shouldn't be proceeded without actually entering the enough details, check yout withdrawal history and find what or where it went to, if there is no log regarding that 0.0013btc then the balance will more likely will reflect into your wallet which you have to deal with the exchange's customer support team.
3320  Other / Meta / Re: {LIST}of the Merit Sources asking for more smerit. New Round. on: May 08, 2021, 05:58:51 AM
Your first point about quality can be subjective or objective, so source members are going to come to very differing conclusions about those kinds of matters, and I doubt that theymos would have any problems with that and the standard does seem to be more concerned with either potential abuse or even being inactive.. but lots of latitude seems to be allowed in determining posts/members to merit. .. .so in other words, findingnemo, if theymos wants to consider your merit distribution philosophy, he may well either add you (or your type of a member) as a source or increase your smerits if you already are a source, to the extent that theymos even wants to do any incremental changes to what is already happening.

I do agree with you that there does seem to be a number of merit sources who have decently (or would it be relatively) small source allocations, and of course, relative to a non merit source member, anything might seem like a lot, but relative to some other members, it may seem like a little.. 100 is actually not a bad quantity.. and even 50 or 60, which would still be 2 source merits per day.. so sure, it might be difficult to know or to hypothesize if tweaking a few members might be helpful or if theymos might be considering that if he does it, then he is going to do something BIGGER.. (so speculating again, regarding what theymos might be thinking in terms of tweaking, big changes or even total overhall - which would also be potentially scarie, until it were to actually happen and we know what we would be dealing with - under such a total overhall scenario, were it to occur).
Defining post quality is highly subjective and it only depends on the merit sources but what I am saying is merit sources should encourage the new users as well if they are making some contribution similar to what kind of encouragement is given to the established members but they should also be careful with the abusers which is real tasks.

I never thought about being a merit source and I am to far from being a one. Cheesy

I am kind of person who doesn't wants to create guides and useless stats which are kind of boring since these are same things are posted again and again in different formats from different users, since forum is actually meant for discussions so we also encourage discussions which contribute to the cryptos in someway with some merits (like you are doing in WO and to me in this thread). Wink
