It's nothing to do with bumping as they are not back to back posts. It is a Welsh said spamming, they're posting the same stuff over and over but getting away with it by deleting the evidence.
3302  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 16, 2018, 09:18:39 AM
I’m not blaming the casino

but the owner of freebitcoin is probably very happy for destroy my life.

Really? Not blaming the casino?

And where should I address my problems?

There are many organisations like Gamblers Anonymous that can help. You'll find it much more productive than posting lies about us being happy about it.
3303  Other / Meta / Re: Is deleting and reusing posts allowed? on: June 16, 2018, 09:07:32 AM
Unnecessary spam which only has the effect of bumping the topic for what ever reason. You could probably report it for low quality content. It wouldn't really come down to plagiarism if they are copying their own posts, however if they appear to be using other peoples posts then it would be hard to determine from an outside view whether they own those accounts so would probably fall under plagiarism.  I don't see the point of deleting posts that far back, and posting them again.

Report it with the archive included, and see what the moderator dealing with it thinks.

I reported the first one as plagiarism as the old post was from another user and gave the link to my post in the copy paste thread as the reference but it has stayed unhandled. That's why I wanted to clarify the rules. The main thing here is they seem to be doing the same thing with all their posts, it's not just a one-off. Presumably, the signature campaign is counting posts in the current week and not the all-time total post count so they can just reuse the same stuff over and over.

I came across user taxmanmt5 when they posted in a thread I watch and I was sure I had already read the exact same thing. When I searched for it I found it had indeed already been posted in the same thread by another user but it had now been deleted.

See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg40158216#msg40158216 for more details.

Today I had time to look more closely and it seems that everything taxmanmt5 posts is something that either they themselves have already posted in that thread and just deleted or one of presumably their alt accounts posted and deleted.

Example posted yesterday.

The reason why we should invest in Bitcoin Or Ethereum ?
I think that all of invester have the same goal. Investing in Bitcoin in the hope of taking advantage of future price increases is as simple as buying Bitcoin on an online exchange. When the price increases, it means that we get profit. More and more profit! Moreover, bitcoin transactions are subject to few regulatory oversights, which makes transactions fast and headache-free.
What do you think?
How many other reason for this question, please let me know!
Thank you very much.

I myself bought both coins after studying them. I know something that the price may fall,  but its just a temporary effect . After going down it will start increasing its value. These two coins never disappoint. They can bless you with huge profit. Just take a chance and buy now before it too late.

Previously: They posted on May 23rd.

You are right, it was my fault I understand too late. But I think it important to advise people that this tipe of site can ruin lifes with no mercy, making the owners richers and richers.

The vast majority of people that gamble are responsible and only use it as a form of entertainment using money than afford to lose. I think it is important that your address your own problems rather than projecting your faults onto others.

When a gambler blames the casino it is a sure sign that they haven't accepted responsibility for their own actions.

@Quin: If I were to deposit ETH, can I just make a deposit to the destination address (Shifty) without entering the amount? The input field only reflects the converted Bitcoin amount so I'm unable to enter the exact ETH amount to send over.

You enter the amount of BTC you want and then it tells you how much to deposit.

3309  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 15, 2018, 03:18:53 PM
no if you dont understand any of that,

I wasn't arguing any of that.

however for those that do, a class/joint action option is a power and cost affective way for us to consider compensation since Halong is making no efforts to resolve the issues

I was pointing out that if you want to be taken seriously about this you would get the obvious first stage done by at least consulting a professional lawyer and getting in writing that they think you have a case with a chance of succeeding.

well ive got better things to do with my time than explain it to you.

So you keep saying but your actions tell another story. It looks very much like explaining as many times as you can it is your only objective.
3310  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: June 15, 2018, 02:51:20 PM
Because I'm in the top 1000 FWIW.
I think top 100 is 2 stars and top 10 is 3 stars.

Do you know if this is based on total number of posts, or is it weighted against other stats, like post count vs. merit or something?

Vod is probably a better person to ask but I'm pretty sure each of the categories that have rankings and stars are independent of each other. Trust, Posts, Activity and Merit each show a ranking only for users in the 1000 and posts is the only one I'm listed in.
3311  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 15, 2018, 02:43:11 PM
Ive got better things to do than sit on my phone arguing with you,

You give a very good impersonation of the opposite.

When you file as plaintiff and list a defendant, you can not then just go and add plaintiffs

That wasn't what I was saying. I said you would have least consulted a lawyer and have something credible to show that you had a case getting started with a chance of success.
3312  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 15, 2018, 02:41:25 PM
So still not 13331695... Can you please explain?

A couple of months ago we had a problem with a lottery when 6 blocks were mined very quickly before the file had been downloaded and tweeted out and we had to delay the draw. After that week we changed to using the 12th block rather than the 6th so this wouldn't happen again. However, due to a bug, only the block number displayed in the text file was changed to the 12th block and the 6th block was still used for the actual draw.

That means last weeks lottery was actually from the hash of block 526873 instead of 526879.

If you let me know your user ID we would like to pay you a bug bounty for finding this.
3313  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 15, 2018, 02:27:05 PM
Well my legal degrees in commercial law and international law trumps your opinion.

ROFL

every subsequent post to you has been explaining my position, you seem to be the one flipping all over the place here

No again. I've been asking one very specific question that you don't answer.

Quote
You refuse to answer why you are doing it back to front and not getting legal advice as to whether you have a claim or not first.

If you really had the intention of making a legal claim you start the process before getting more people involved to make it into a class action. If you wanted to be taken seriously you would have the beginnings of an action to present.

Since my first post I stated my concerns, my investment, and how I felt misslead

That's the only reason you are here, to make some noise.
3314  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 15, 2018, 02:08:15 PM
because not only do i feel ripped off, Ive read and see others feel ripped off

and Ive been asking if others have been considering legal action to either join, or start as a class action, to build a stronger case by sharing our evidence

you have felt the need to troll over the last few hours before 2/3 of the world has even had a chance to catch up on the thread

No. You refuse to answer why you are doing it back to front and not getting legal advice as to whether you have a claim or not first. You just ignore that and repeat your grievances.
My feeling is that you grossly exaggerate the legal position and that any professional advice would be to forget about it. I'm as entitled to point that out as you are to complain.
3315  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 15, 2018, 01:56:14 PM
from a legal aspect there was claims made by halongmining

Again. If you really believe that why on earth would you not take legal advice rather than posting about it. If you were in possession of credible legal advice saying that you a) had a case and b) that case was likely to succeed, then you'd be in a position to get people interested in a class action lawsuit.

Doing it this way you look like just another Bitmain shill.
3316  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 15, 2018, 01:29:20 PM
There are too many users already, so it is very small chance to win something.

You have some very messed up logic there. The number of other people playing does not affect the result of a roll.
3317  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: June 15, 2018, 12:36:16 PM
Wow that's some helpful links, I never though someone would have made something like that. There's no API in the forums as far as I can see so I though it'd be impossible to create an automatic tool.

Vod's BPIP uses a passer that is logged in and reads the recent merits page. Piggy's one is using the weekly download file the forum makes available every Friday.

PS: Why do you have a star next to your "Posts Rank" and I don't? >.>

Because I'm in the top 1000 FWIW.
I think top 100 is 2 stars and top 10 is 3 stars.
3318  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 15, 2018, 12:31:41 PM
Can someone please explain me how the lottery process works?
For example, I have tried to reproduce the process on the last round (158), these are my results:

[SERVER SEED]:[BLOCK HASH]:[WINNING POSITION]
[2b4505f844cefb56df5a0eaf93c7ce28e669d383ac2e8933d380d0de396b5108]:[00000000000000000026dae683c98172bcbd831b9c2658ef80e84f690254ac62]:[1]
SHA256 Hash of the string: 7A0550680C0804BC580DED2A6261C2C512A9A87C233FA1DD77C72DB88B03FECA
First 8 characters of the SHA256: 7A055068
Hex to dex [NUM1]: 7A055068 ---> 2047168616
[NUM1] / 4294967295 * (817,477,438 - 1) = 389.645.378 = NUM2
ID Winner: 9843171

So why the first winner is 13331695?

OK, the [ ] brackets are not actually included in the string so it should look like this:

Code:
2b4505f844cefb56df5a0eaf93c7ce28e669d383ac2e8933d380d0de396b5108:00000000000000000026dae683c98172bcbd831b9c2658ef80e84f690254ac62:1

Try it again like that and you should get the correct result.
3319  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: June 15, 2018, 12:24:08 PM
The system hasn't been updated since it was implemented, right? I don't think I've missed some kind of an announcement.
Shouldn't the team try and make the system better? Do they believe they launched a perfect system by day one?

I for example find it harder as time goes by to know if a "Full Member" with 101 merits have worked from Newbie with 0 merits to 101, from "Member" with 10 free merits they got 91 or if they was already a "Full Member" when the system launched and they only got 1 merit.

I believe this is more important to signature campaign managers who want to filter the users than anyone else, but still, it'd be helpful to know how many were free merits and how many acquired merits.
Ofcourse you can check the date the user was registered, but as I said this gets harder as time passes and it won't be easy to remember or to calculate how many free merits someone has based on the date they registered.

And also, it's not that hard to split that info into "Total Merit" and "Received Merit" or "Community Merit".

I suggested something similar right back when the system was first introduced. Since then there are a number of resources available that I'm sure the campaign managers will check.

Has given 11 merit 11 times, to 10 accounts ( 1.1 merit/account)
Has received 27 merit 16 times, from 11 accounts
(seems to have stopped updating recently as Vod's got some bugs to fix).

seems like your trolling ??

Just getting bored of your trolling.

Anyway well see what people have to say
I didnt ask 3 times, I replied a few of those times to you

My bad it was twice. After you asked the first time and absolutely nobody answered you might have taken that as a no.

There are a few determined trolls in this thread that give the false impression that a lot of customers are unhappy. That's far from the truth and the lack of response to your call to arms is evidence of that. There seem to be a lot of people happy to see some competition to Bitmain. Buying a new ASIC product on pre-order has always been a highly risky endeavour and those that took that risk with Halong have come out far better than most of us did back in 2013/4.
