3301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: February 16, 2022, 03:51:42 PM
Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment?I've been trading options on BTC for about three years now, and I've made significant gains, how does everyone invest?
So far bitcoin has proven to be one of the best coins to invest in both short and long term and everyone here I think will say the same because we recognize that bitcoin is capable of providing greater returns than any other coin, so until recently bitcoin is still the only cryptocurrency that the public and investors are most interested in investing with.
It is not even just as a crypto currency but also as the most profitable and great in the whole investment world. I would prefer it over gold, over stocks, over houses over any other thing that you could imagine. Crypto gives you a right to make money more than any other method in the world. This is why I believe that we should not really be concerned about investing into crypto at any price. Just forget about the unknowns of the future because it is valid for everything.

You think Warren Buffet didn't made any losses? Dude managed to have 3-4 loss years in the last 12-13 years, and sure he had some profitable ones as well. But, he averaged literally 20% for the past 60 years and that is how he became so rich, just on average 20% per year and you would be rich too. For crypto it is quite easy to average 20% profit if you ask me, shouldn't be that difficult as long as you keep holding it.
3302  Economy / Economics / Re: Forbes Announces $200 Million Strategic Investment From Binance on: February 16, 2022, 06:44:04 AM
The fact that something as financially media heavy as Forbes which has a huge manipulation power if they ever want to getting this kind of money from Binance is a big deal. CZ himself is worth nearly 100 billion dollars and this shows that rich people could easily manipulate the market however they want to. As we have heard from Binance now that they are turning their business model a bit towards BNB and less to Binance.

Not that Binance would not make them money, it must be making them insane amount of money, the day they could turn Binance into a USA based company if they can, open up to wall street and get IPO, CZ could be the richest person in the world, seriously wouldn't be difficult to do just requires a bit more heavy regulations and that's it. All in all he could spend a billion dollars just on media purchases and increase the value of his company, his network and his networth at the same time. Media is THAT powerful.
3303  Economy / Economics / Re: Taiwan invasion - how would it affect bitcoin on: February 15, 2022, 03:21:06 PM
The chip situation is probably the most important one that is directly related to bitcoin. Leaving all the humanity and the wars and all of that aside which is already terrible wherever it happens, we are talking about simply bitcoin related stuff. In that case Taiwan has one of the biggest and best chip factories in the world and since that will be stopped, we are going to end up with a big problem as well. This is the reason why we should not be expecting GPU prices to go down anytime soon.

We have BTC running with machines which require chips too, we have ETH now (but will go to 2.0 staking) and other coins that have GPU mining all requiring chips. Basically it will impact the crypto world in the security stage because the more hash power there is, the more security there is and if we have less machines because of lack of chips, we will have less security.
3304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will u feel if d price of 1BTC exceeds $1m by 2030 as its made legal tender on: February 15, 2022, 09:53:45 AM
We just have to know that these people are guessing what they think is right or would happen, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. How exactly did they get to know that three to five countries would be making Bitcoin a legal tender? Have there been any other country that stated that they would be making Bitcoin a legal tender so far this year? It’s not like I’m doubting what they have said, yes it is quite possible but we haven’t really seen any other that has mentioned that so far.

And As for Bitcoin reaching $1,000,000 in the future, if that should happen it is normal that anyone who is holding it would be happy. I would be happy about that because I know for sure that I would be holding my coins for long.
3305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making valentine's day memorable with bitcoins. on: February 15, 2022, 08:28:08 AM
I believe that there are so many ways that you can surprise your loved ones with Bitcoin on any day. First, I would say that you have to know what they like, if you are able to get to know what your loved ones like, then you can work towards gifting them something that is similar to that or what they would really like that will impress them that much.

Some of the ways that you can send Bitcoin as a gift to your loved ones include sending them a gift card. There are so many ways that you can send a Bitcoin gift card to people, maybe through the BitCard platform or BitPay. Then another way you can surprise them is to send them a paper wallet which has an instructions on how they can claim it using the QR code or the private keys written on the paper wallet. Or you can even send them one of those physical bitcoins, these ones are really attractive and I would highly recommend them. If you don’t know about it then you should read up on it and how it works. There are still more ways and I believe that if you should search for it, you’re going to see.
3306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hire Crypto Trader on: February 15, 2022, 04:33:26 AM
I think most of the people who are commenting misunderstood what the op is really talking about here. From what I have understood, the op has a trade signal group for traders, so he is looking for traders who are interested in his services and wants to do business with him, but he didn’t really pass his message across the right way which made a lot of people here to misunderstand that.

So far I would say that most people are not going to be interested in this kind of business, and that’s because a lot of people here dreads relying or making use of signal groups, because majority of them usually don’t workout. Secondly, the op is a newbie, and most people here would find it difficult to trust someone who is still new to the forum and doesn’t have much activity yet to prove whether they are worthy to be trusted or not. Finally the op is not even engaging the comments that I have seen here so far.
3307  Economy / Economics / Re: Dealing with tax and crypto ban on: February 14, 2022, 11:38:08 PM
This government, have they really taken time to study cryptocurrency and how it works? Do they know that even if they should ban crypto currency in the country that there will still be people who are making use of these crypto currencies and be able to trade them despite whatever ban they might have placed on it?

As for cryptocurrency mining, it is quite possible that the government can stop companies from mining cryptocurrency, because it is quite easy to spot the crypto miners wherever they might be. So, it is quite possible for them to stop it, which is one way I think that they can do something that will affect Bitcoin.

And this is because Bitcoin these days is not something that you can just mine from your home with your computer. This time around it requires a big mining farm and all that. I think if it was as it used to be before, then it would be even more difficult for them to stop mining. It is good that Russia didn’t ban it, but rather accepted it.
3308  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $30k the bottom for this dip? on: February 14, 2022, 11:28:51 AM
It seems like the bottom has been reached already and people who keep denying that probably missed it. I mean if you still want to see bitcoin going down, there are two main reasons for that. You either missed it and want it to go down so you can buy some more before it goes up in which case you would probably still miss it out of fear to buy it when it is low just like you previously did, or you are just a person who hates crypto and everyone who made money from it.

There is really no third option for me, if you WANT it to go down, if you guess it or predict it but not really want it then it is understandable but you predicting it going down to 30k would be like me saying gold will be 100 bucks each again one day.
3309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin to look out for 2021 on: February 13, 2022, 06:48:32 AM
We are talking about a situation where people were worried about the price on the very first month of the year. Like I get that it wasn't great in the first month, but it was the first month for Christ sake. Right now, it is doing a little bit better and everyone gets hyped about it and it is only the second month. Just be calm about it because at the end of the day we are talking about something that is not over yet.

Anything could happen in 2022, we have 10 more months (even a bit more) and we could see it reach to 100k or we could see it drop to 30k or we could see it drop to 30k and go to 100k after that, anything could happen.
That is basically how people approach the short term trading, that is why they were so worried about the future as well. If you are a day trader and you look at 5 minute candles all the time, when it is looking bad, you assume everything will stay bad, and when people talk about a bit of future, you end up thinking with the information you have in your hand.

It looks "bad" for the next 3 days, and that is all you look at, so when someone asks you about the next 6 months, you only talk with the 3 day information you have in your hand. It is not really about people being doomy and gloomy, it is about the information they have in their hands which is lacking for a future sight and quite short sighted.
3310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where comes and how exchanges gets the bitcoins that I buy? on: February 13, 2022, 03:16:29 AM
Maybe someone who asks this question should be avoiding getting into crypto right away? I would highly suggest to advice OP to stay away from crypto until he learns more about it. We promote learning how to trade, whereas we are telling a person where money in the trading comes from, in TRADING. With maybe like a year worth of hardcore studying, even OP could become a great trader in crypto, you could start earlier but it takes time to be great.

However, that is not right now, anyone who asks such a simple question should stop everything and start learning how trading works and when to buy and when to sell type of things in very in depth details before they start.
3311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The solution is just there on: February 12, 2022, 05:04:08 PM
If the team behind coinmarketcap could always review the altcoins that they gonna list it’s gonna be great, I figured out that coinmarketcap frequently listing some shitcoins just because they exists and this could cause lose of investment by many newbies in investing.
I think coinmarketcap is also a company owned by binance, if they could make some review just like exactly binance is doing with the projects that they gonna be carrying out, it could significantly reduce the amount of investment loss because of scams projects.
I really wish that they could make this filtering of scams projects comes true because it could literally save many lives and money.
First of all you have to know that this is not their duty, they have one duty which is just to list all the coins that are available in the market, and not to go round checking whether they are scam or not. These people list a lot of coins in a week, and I don’t think they will have that kind of time to start checking which project is a legit one or the ones that are owned by scammers.

Furthermore, when you want to trade these coins, where you usually go to is exchanges like binance.com, and coinbase.com, or any other exchange in the market, and you don’t go to coinmarketcap.com or coingecko.com to sell these coins.

Maybe if you have said that exchanges should start doing this particular thing, then I would say you are right. Because exchanges, especially the centralized exchanges should be the ones checking whether a project is legit or not, this is not something that should be meant for Coinmarketcap to do.
3312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uniswap Token to $50? on: February 12, 2022, 09:43:16 AM
For sure, when there is any update in the token, there is always hype, and the price increases. However, we need to see the overall structure of the crypto market at that time. Sometimes the project updates are released at a time when bitcoin is in bearish mode. In those times, even these events fail to make the coin pump. Therefore we should only invest in coins for an only certain amount and do not allocate the whole portfolio in one coin because of the event.
That is also the times when new projects fail to get picked up and since the early days are very important for most of them, we have to see some good projects die without even starting properly. I mean you can be as great as it gets, the next big name, and if you start at a very bearish period then you will be losing left and right during that period and never make it big.

If you insist and stay around for years, then maybe you can, but it is a hard job. Remember how in 2018 many many projects got destroyed? Mainly from the bear market. That is what new projects are looking at right now, and for the past few months, but during 2021? Most of them got more money than they deserved.
3313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of blockchain gaming on: February 12, 2022, 05:31:12 AM
What do you think about the future of blockchain games? Do you think they will work out? There is difference in playing game for the fun of it and playing games to earn money which is why I think that if Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft don't support blockchain games then it will sucks, consoles have the best games and gamers don't care wasting lots of time on them just for fun.. my point is if these top three gaming companies don't get into blockchain gaming I don't think I will ever be hooked with Play2earn games anyways, what about you?
That is the same feeling that most of us do get. I have tried all these play to earn games on blockchain, but as time goes on it starts to get very boring. That is the case with most of them, they are so boring and they are not high end games like you would see on Microsoft Xbox and Sony PlayStation games.

They are really boring, and most people who will try it out, at some point they will just get tired, and adding up the frustration that comes with all these play to earn games, most will usually give up and look for something else to do. It is usually not easy because it is not fun to play, and at the same time it is also going to frustrate you at some point, so you are definitely going to drop out.
3314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: February 12, 2022, 03:56:51 AM
I think it all goes down to what you are really after. If you are someone who is into long term investment, then it would be a different case. And if you are someone who is into short term investment, I think you would have to be relying on making use of charts with the help of technical analysis to be able to predict where the market will be going to within the next few minutes or so.

Because, if you are into short term investments or trading, and you’re not making use of technical analysis, then your success in this type of investment would be quite hard. But for someone who is into long term investment, they can rely on news and fundamental analysis. technical analysis as well can be helpful. They can also decide to make their decisions based on the past history of the coin that they have invested in.
3315  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 11, 2022, 10:59:53 AM
Bitcoin is fully decentralized which is why I think it doesn't have to compete with Fiat at all, those who needs the decentralized idea should just keep using BTC as it is, we all know that CBDC will run on the blockchain too but in centralised form so where thus this leave Bitcoin?
Like you have said, both are different, those who wishes to make use of a decentralized currency would continue making use of Bitcoin, and those who likes Fiat or feels like making use of the central bank’s digital currency would go for what it offers them.

Between CBDC and Bitcoin, I would say that the central bank digital currency even has a lesser chance of survival than Bitcoin. Bitcoin would continue no matter what, but all these digital currencies that are being released by central banks might not be heading to anywhere at all, because so far most of them that I have seen  are not really a success. So, they are not a threat to Bitcoin at all.

3317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 09, 2022, 08:35:02 PM
The match between Southampton and Tottenham is now being held. I look forward to Tottenham's victory in this match. I bet today for their victory. If Son and Kane can play well, it will not be difficult for Tottenham to win. Tottenham will be able to score at least 2 goals today and they will win the match 2-1.
I was also expecting some good game between these two clubs Southampton is currently in bad shape but still a very difficult team to beat start was not good for visitors as they concede an own goal by Bednarek, but good thing happened and after few minutes Broja also done a goal for them and now after 30 minutes match is at score of 1 - 1 hopefully we will have some good number of goals in this match.

In another match Norwich done very good job and have very early lead against Crystal Palace which is going to be very interesting because few weeks back they were at bottom, but recent two wins from two matches give them some better encouragement so now today they are again in lead, and they can do this 3 out of 3 which could be very good for them if they were able to win surely they are going out of relegation zone for some time.
3318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 09, 2022, 06:28:46 PM
Red Bull Racing have announced that they are going to reveal the RB18 today at 5 pm CET. It is really exciting to witness the teams launching their new cars one by one these days. And the ones that I have been curious about the most are Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull's cars. There is still some time to see Ferrari and Mercedes' cars now. Ferrari are going to reveal it on February 17 and Mercedes are going to do it one day after them. We are getting close to the new season quickly now and the excitement level is rising.
It does look great. I thought it would be a bit more light colours, but they have seemed to pick a darker colour of their product. We all need to remember that these companies are investing into these cars because their main thing is sponsorship.

You do not have to make money or profit from it, companies will end up paying for the difference and Red Bull is not different from others. Which means that how it looks changes so much. I actually did purchase red bull a few times literally because I saw it so much on TV when I was watching. Not like some sort of "support" because they are billion dollars worth companies and do not need me but I said red bull too much in a season and sometimes it just makes you want to drink some.
3319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin to buy? on: February 09, 2022, 10:19:44 AM
Although projects like neo and eos received huge investments, they could not develop themselves at all, yes you are right, they were very uninspired, I don't think they will be very active in this rising season. Web 3 seems to continue to be an emerging trend, but also the need for me, the need will be an inevitable occurrence in it. I am impatiently following the evolutions of these defi, nft, metaverse technologies you mentioned.
I do not believe that their problem was that they were not good enough, it was that they did not catch up with the times. Right now the crypto world is so beyond them but they were the biggest names for a while. EOS for example got rated highest and best in blockchain for a while, early when they actually did something, so it is not that they are bad, they were never bad. The problem is we have so many new projects which are much better and EOS never improved itself.

This is the key to most projects fall, if you do not improve with the times then you are not going to be at a high level, only bitcoin could stay the same and still be ranked higher and even bitcoin is improving their blockchain to make it as cheap as possible, still not cheap but at least it is trying. This is why NEO and EOS could still get super popular only if they improved, but as it seems, they won't.
3320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin thief on Bitfinex exchange caught? on: February 09, 2022, 09:24:47 AM
I am not in favor of the couple's activities here, but keys storing online? You are right, that's not a very safe way to store private keys. They should know better. Because if the agents haven't found those keys and they will make a stand that they lost the keys (but will get it once they are out of prison - just giving one scenario), they can still be rich after their sentence. But anyway, on the thought that FBI got a hold of multi-billion dollar heist is great! I don't know if Bitfinex already refunded their customers but if not, they have hope now to get it back.
Let’s just hope that the FBI would be returning the coins to the rightful owners and not keep it. Then As for the case of storing keys online, well they have been storing it online for so many years now, five years like the op has said? And no one has had access to it, except that the FBI took permission from court to be able to access their online Accounts and recover the private keys. If it wasn’t like that, then those keys would have been there and no one would have known about it.

Even if you decide to store your keys offline, there are still some risks that can be involved, you can even lose the paper where it is written or something might happened to the storage where you have stored it. So there isn’t really 100% safe option, it’s all about you knowing how to handle whatever option you take .
