Exactly!

This has got scam written all over it. Lets look at the facts:

New account, no real pictures or proof, repeatedly wants to be contacted by email, mentioned only wants paying for shipping in first post but then says local pickup is possible but hasn't replied to numerous offers.

100% SCAM!

I want to put money in bitcoin mining. Will it be a good decision to take loan for BTC mining? Should I take it from BTCJam or try other sources? Please suggest.

I think you've got your answer, half a dozen people cant be wrong  Wink
3304  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Will it be good to take loan for BTC mining? on: September 18, 2014, 06:51:04 AM
Never borrow money (or btc) on something as unpredictable as mining, or anything to do with cryptos for that matter, its too unpredictable.

Hardly anyone is making any profit mining at the moment with current difficulty, equipment cost, btc price and electricity.
3305  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Antminer U2's Trash or still something left? on: September 18, 2014, 06:24:50 AM
Stick to slow and steady.

FYI Coinwarz calculator says it will take average of 370711.02 days to solo mine a block with 4 GH/s.

That's 1015 years (and that's without difficulty increases) Grin

4 GH/s is nothing now unfortunately. 400 GH/s barely mines anything now.

If you have a look at Coinwarz profitability site you're lucky to earn $0.02 a day (and that's now, will be less in the future).

http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/?sha256hr=4.00&sha256p=2.50&sha256pc=0.2000&sha256c=true&scrypthr=28000.00&scryptp=920.00&scryptpc=0.2000&scryptc=false&scryptnhr=450.00&scryptnp=500.00&scryptnpc=0.1000&scryptnc=false&x11hr=15000.00&x11p=500.00&x11pc=0.1000&x11c=false&x13hr=6500.00&x13p=400.00&x13pc=0.1000&x13c=false&keccakhr=500.00&keccakp=500.00&keccakpc=0.1000&keccakc=false&quarkhr=5000.00&quarkp=500.00&quarkpc=0.1000&quarkc=false&groestlhr=10.00&groestlp=500.00&groestlpc=0.1000&groestlc=false&jhahr=3000.00&jhap=300.00&jhapc=0.1000&jhac=false&blake256hr=3.20&blake256p=300.00&blake256pc=0.1000&blake256c=false&neoscrypthr=20.00&neoscryptp=200.00&neoscryptpc=0.1000&neoscryptc=false&e=Coinbase

If you're leaving a pc on with it plugged in just to mine then you'll be running at a loss.

You'd be better off putting it on ebay and getting what you can for it now, or just keep mining for fun Smiley.
3308  Economy / Services / Re: Will do anything for some BTC on: September 17, 2014, 06:17:04 AM
Err lots of vulgar comments on this I haven't seen before now.

#1-  I have a job in which I make decent income, it isn't the greatest but I am just starting out so it will hopefully go up the more experience I get.

#2- I have a degree in Computer Science, so I am obviously strong in computers, but I am open for helping out with anything.

#3-It isn't terribly expensive as opposed to average cost of Tuition in the states(it is a joke, don't get me started on it) I just would rather not have to pay them for the next 20 years of my life, hence why I figure if I can earn a couple extra 100 here and throw that toward my loans it would knock that down quicker.

Good luck with your search, how's about offering a local computer fix / repair / problem solving service. A friend of mine works with computers but does that after work / weekends and does ok.  He's built a website and runs small adverts in local papers etc.

Shame about people making crude comments just to increase post count for signature campaigns Roll Eyes

I doubt OP will be back, its an obvious lame scam attempt and he's been found out.

I just hope nobody was stupid enough to send him an email and / or pay for shipping.

There is no hardware and he's certainly not giving any away.
3310  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Free Hardware (lots of it) on: September 16, 2014, 11:07:52 AM
By shipping, I mean freight shipments of crated servers, based on a negotiated contract with an identified receiver.

Negotiated contract with an identified receiver?

Lookin to see what the market is right now on this. If I can get the right number, I would consider selling. Hoping that number is in the 3-3.5 range.

I can't figure out how the hell to embed images directly, so here is a couple links. I have more if anyone wants to see them.

You need to copy the link on imgur under BBCode (message boards & forums) i.e the [ IMG ] tags and what's in between.

Also the images you uploaded were too big to fit on here. I have made them smaller, re-uploaded and posted below for you Smiley.

Any reason why you want usb miners? I have an old Nanofury NF1 2GH/s usb miner somewhere if you're interested. Problem is that these are so underpowered now it wont be worth having your pc on to run it, or even 100 of them.

I can sell you an S1 for 0.2 + postage and throw in the Nanofury for free if you want it.

S1 runs standard at 180GH/s. You will however need a minimum 450w / 500w quality psu to run it. Mine have been run off Corsair and Antec / Seasonic psu's which I've found are very reliable. You should be able to pick a used one from ebay for about £25 / £30.

sadly im not really interested in S1's there a pig on power and per Watt are worse than most USB miner which people dont seem to realize
plus i just like the little Usb miners they dont take up much room i can pick up dirt cheap hubs for £5 to run 10 of them and everything is wired into a cheap £10 power supply

FYI
Nanofury puts out      2 GH/s at 2.5w       750Mhs per watt
Antminer S1 puts out  180GH/s at 360w    500Mhs per watt
on electric price my break even is 500M/h per watt right now (bitcoin needs to go up £100 or so before i switch my S1s back on)

Ok buddy no problem sounds like you know what you're doing.

For what its worth I'd rather have 1 x S1 @ 180GH/s using more power than 90 x USB miners, hubs and hastle.

Been there and done that was more trouble than it was worth Cheesy.

Good luck with your search Smiley.

i still want the nanofury off you Cheesy let me know what you want
i dont seem to have to many problems with it everything's pretty well setup now i worked all the bugs out with ASIC block erupters and after a week of tweaking got everything else sorted for new miners with extra power draw

id love to add extra s1's but i doubt there going to break even and i cant find anywhere in the UK selling cheap enough electric to break even im on 14p per kwh
and the cheapest i know of is 12p per kwh

Ok of course you can, how does 0.04 sound delivered?

That's good I'm glad you've got them all set up and running ok, I never had that luxury Cheesy.

I know what you're saying about UK electricity prices, think I'm paying about 14p too.

I'm selling off my S1's now so buyers can earn something from them before they're completely worthless / useless in a few months time.

i was aiming more around 0.01 even then its pretty much 10 month until return

Sorry I'd rather keep it to show my grandchildren in 30 years time than sell it for £3 Cheesy.

got to have a start point somewhere so how about 0.02

Thanks for your improved offer, sorry buddy I have changed my mind the thought of showing it to my grandchildren and telling them about early day bitcoin mining is much more appealing. This is a classic 'retro' usb bitcoin miner. You'll see these on antiques roadshow in a few years time fetching hundreds of pounds Cheesy

almost as retro as my ASIC Miner Block erupters and hope your right about that id earn £1000's
fair enough ill have to keep looking.

Yes exactly Grin. Good luck with your search, noticed there's a few on ebay at the moment going for half decent money though.
