You people need to stop entertaining newbie accounts. If they don't post from their main account, they don't stand behind their words.
Who is saying is not important, what is being stated is what matters. Celebrity culture should not be celebrated. I agree, however your argument to remove doog from DT is "they look bad when I make my list special". I hope you dont expect to be taken serious with this.

[ size=16pt]Hello, I have a question about blockchain.info I know I can make multi wallets on the same account. but can anybody know that these wallets are related to the same account ?? Thanks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) [/size] Maybe he was asking about creating multiple accounts thus, multiple wallets. If those wallets contains transactions then it can be traced by it's IP addres so I think it is possible to know if those wallets belongs to a single person. Well if IP tracking is an issue for you, dont use blockchain.info or use it over Tor. A transaction itself has no IP info attached to it.

Thanks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) [/size] I think by multi wallets he meant to say -"multiple address" in same wallet which is feature on blockchain wallets. I don't know the answer of the question that can anybody know all address are related to same wallet. AFAIK blockchain.info offers some limited "coin control" by letting you choose a "sending address". Its probably hidden among the "advanced" features.

Aaaaalright, thread seems to have been stickied. Well that was unexpected. Should start making the proof and everything cleaner and more managed. -snip-
Gratz on that. Did you get a signed message? How did the deal take place? Was there a thread or an auction posted? How much did you pay and do you have a TX ID for the transaction? I know its impossible to proof, reasonable doubt will be enough.

Compressed address is just an added security over uncompressed addresses. It helps brute forcers to take long or infinite time to uncompress and find your private key. You can use both addresses without issues.
Wrong, compression adds no security, read the answers by Danny or CIYAM again.

Calling 256kbit/s broadband is a shame, isnt it? Thats not even enough for a 480p youtube video without buffering. With that "broadband" it would take almost 19 days to download 50GiB worth of blockchain data.

777coin campaign is now safe, you can remove the asterisk 777coin owner sent payments to the campaign manager
Funds sent to the campaign manager does not mean that it is safe now, lets wait for the next weeks payment to see whether there will be delay again or not. I agree

Fun fact: [Satoshi] modeled the monetary supply as 4 gold mines being discovered per mibillenium (1024 years), with equal intervals between them, each one being depleted over the course of 140 years.I did NOT know that. Its a joke. Satoshi was bad at writing code. BIP 42 is a joke on an overflow that would reset the block rewards.

Im really confused here and I dont know if this is me or you, so I will just put this out there.
My understanding is that in order to create a SigWit transaction you pay to a SegWit address first. Thus its always the receiving party that deceides whether or not they want to use SegWit or not. If I create a "anyone can spend" address that is not SegWit, its my own fault that literally anyone can spend my funds as soon as someone else paid me. SegWit would introduce a new address type[1] to clearify on the highest level whats going on. So if I just dont upgrade, I keep using the same old version 1 addresses and nothing is going wrong, except that I might have to pay more in fees when I spend the coins.
[1] not sure which prefix though, 1, 2, 3, 5 are used, so maybe 4? or S for SegWit?

522 bytes with a 10k satoshi fee. Its not the highest fee, but also not the lowest. Shouldnt be too long. Also getting this msg sometimes when I try to click on the transaction:
Maximum concurrent requests for this endpoint reached. Please try again shortly.
What's going on guys? Really need help this is an urgent payment.
Thanks!!
Thats just an blockchain.info specific error. They are over capacity. You might want to use another explorer when you have that problem, e.g. blocktrail[1]. I gave the transaction a little push[2], but there is little you can do besides waiting. has any body seen any double spent being detected in there transactions? I haven't seen anywhere. How can someone double spend there bitcoins??
What happens to transaction that are detected as double spend??
as per my knowledge and experience i have not seen any type of double spend the balance in wallet, how can a wallet double spend means keeping 1btc in wallet but twice sending to two addresses , i think it is not possible with the genuine wallets, but after seeing some replys i think it can happen. Most wallet would not display it as such. Lets take bitcoin core as an example how to handle something like that very well. If it for some reason sees both transactions it would mark them as "conflicted" so you know there is something wrong while you wait for a confirmation. On the other hand it does not allow you to just issue another transaction with the same coins. You have to remove* all transactions from your wallet, rescan* for all confirmed (!) transactions and afterwards create the TX again. The steps marked with * can not be done via the user interface, but you need to pass specific commands on startup. Its not difficult, but its also not just a simple click of a button.
