3301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: December 10, 2016, 11:41:29 AM
We all know what happened in the past well.

“You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks.”

That's a really cool quote! Thanks

And in fact, it's no surprise that the aforementioned quote is from Winston S. Churchill, one of the most powerful men of the last century. Not only he said that but he did it because if he would have listened to all his dogs he would have done nothing in his life.

Sometimes is good (to quote another english saying of those times) to keep calm and carry on.
3302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 10, 2016, 11:35:27 AM
The unstoppable premier league is always playing! I see a very interisting match between Leicester and Manchester City: last years' good old days seem over for Leicester, will they be able to do a sidekick today? Let's see
Arsenal - Stoke Arsenal
Hull City - Crystal Palace Palace
Swansea - Sunderland Swansea
Leicester - Manchester City over 2,5 goals
3303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: December 10, 2016, 11:30:29 AM
I have to hurry up: Osasuna versus Barcelon is about to start in minutes. I need to pay higher fees to get it confirmed rather soon. Below there's is my parlay for la liga
Osasuna - Barcelona over 2,5 goals
Sociedad - Valencia draw or away
Las Palmas - Leganés las palmas
Real Madrid - Deportivo real madrid
3304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: December 10, 2016, 11:26:10 AM
This league is becoming pretty interesting to watch and follow. I've won a few bets in Ligue 1 and I wish to keep to doing this. Below my picks for this coming Saturday
Bordeaux - Monaco over 2,5 goals
Bastia - Metz Bastia
Nancy - Angers under 2,5 goals
Nantes - Caen under 2,5 goals

...the value is showing so much maturity. Volatility seems a thing of the past...

Maybe, but let's not forget that in 2012 volatility seemed to be done also. Then we had 2013.

I don't think we'll have quite the volatility as we had during the 3 great bubbles (or even last spring's micro-bubble) when it rocketed up in a few short weeks and plummeted just as quickly.

Hopefully the next bubble will take several months (or even years) instead of just weeks. The fractals of the bubbles are remarkably similar, but they are getting taller, longer, and with longer intervals between them.

Eventually one of them will be where the s-curve goes "vertical". Then the exponential growth phase will be done and the price will exponentially level off.

I lost this comment in the flow. When I say that volatility is a thing of the past I'm referring to recent times. Of course if we look at the past we could recognise some pattern which may likely happen again.
Anyway, good analysis I second that.
3306  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 08, 2016, 07:29:24 PM
It's my opinion that we should have been well north of $1K many years ago, that's how much I think bitcoin is undervalued right now.

I fully agree with that. While it was over $1k 3 years ago, that was an artificial high.

Follow the exponential rise from a fifth of a penny in May 2010, through dime later that year, a dollar several months later, bubbling up past $39 in the Great Bubble only to settle in at over $2 later that year, then less than half a year later setting a new ATH at $266 during the second major bubble, only to drop to $50, and then reach $1200 during the 3rd big bubble.

The peaks of the 3 mega-bubbles all rose above the trend lines and were quickly brought back down to earth. Since then we've been substantially below the trend lines and are only recently recovering. The 2014-2015 prices in the $200s were as much an anomaly as the prices in the $5-$10 range were in 2012.

Of course Bitcoin is undervalued now. We have a lot of catching up to do.

agreed.  It is undervalued indeed but the value is showing so much maturity. Volatility seems a thing of the past: it will come back eventually but we saw much happening recently and price is still keeping up. To me that's good. I predicted 850 by the end of the year. We still have time
3307  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: December 08, 2016, 07:24:25 PM
Arbitrage: that's how you make money out of it.
There's a lot of spread between exchanges and who has loads of money make loads of profit by playing on the forex market. The same goes for bitcoin trading
3308  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-08]How is Bitcoin prepared for the emergence of quantum PCs? on: December 08, 2016, 07:21:42 PM
Every once in a while I see these articles popping like mushrooms. It's Sci-Fi for the time being (or at least as far as we know).
Everything can adapt to quantum computing, I don't see why the bitcoin protocol could not be updated accordingly.
3309  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-05]Malware Proteus can act as a cryptocurrency miner on: December 05, 2016, 07:44:45 PM
Researchers of Fortinet have discovered a new stirps of multi-functional malware that can convert contaminated PC into proxy servers, to "produce" various types of cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Zcash, etc.), capture keystrokes and examine the actuality of stolen accounts...https://bit.news/eng/malware-proteus-can-act-cryptocurrency-miner/

I think the worst case we had, was when Bitcoin mining Malware infected Seagate NAS software and once when it was used to mine Alt coins

when people downloaded pirated games from P2P networks. We should always make sure that we are using only legit software.. downloaded

from verified sources. I use a multi-boot OS configuration for all the different things I do, so I just between OS's and never run one OS for

long periods. So they will mine very little Alt coins from my setup..  Grin { I also use VMware/Virtual machines }

I consider myself quite tech savvy but I have to admit that I don't always check downloaded files if they come from "trusted" sources. I mean if I have to  enter that level of paranoia, like when I was using Comodo Internet Security with HIPS (god forgive me), I will stop using a computer.
I'll keep my eyes open
3310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 05, 2016, 07:00:29 PM
Good to see some action back into the old boring Italian Serie A. I hope AC Milan will keep this pace so that other teams will feel Juventus can be threatened on the long term.
By the way, I stopped watching Chievo Genoa: such a boring game.
3311  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: December 05, 2016, 06:57:35 PM
Buying BTC is definitely a pain in the ass.
In my opinion, its one of the last things that is keeping a lot of new users from adopting the system.

Unless you already have coins or an established relationship with a seller, you are forced to jump through a lot of hoops to convert fiat to Bitcoin, and its even worse to convert BTC to fiat....

New users won't come at these prices. It's becoming too expensive to buy and very difficult to find sellers who don't ask super high prices. This is it.
There are very few BTC left and many were lost for one reason or another. I'm only waiting for the big jump, it's only a matter of time.
3312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 04, 2016, 02:26:06 PM
AC Milan won against Crotone thus consolidating their second place in the actual Italian Serie A league. I don't think they can be recognized as the main juventus opponent but at least they are keeping pace with them.
When Dybala, Pjanic and Higuain will come back Juventus will be super strong again.
3313  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-04]The chief of Chinese exchange BTCC expects Bitcoin for $ 1,500 on: December 04, 2016, 02:23:21 PM
Bitcoin is working relentlessly since 2009. It showed us maturity even though it is under constant threats and problems.
The network is ready for more and new people are coming in. That kind of price is almost inevitable. I don't ask if this will happen, I would ask when this will happen.
3314  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: December 04, 2016, 02:19:07 PM
It's not hard to buy bitcoins: what it is true is that it is becoming harder and harder to afford a single bitcoin. The more we keep on moving this way the more difficult will be to be able for an individual to hold a single bitcoin.
It's not hard to buy, that's easy
3315  Economy / Economics / Re: The Illuminati thinks Bitcoin is better than gold on: December 04, 2016, 02:16:25 PM
We probably all would want to see on decentralized public ledger how taxes are managed and spent but I'm not naive to believe this will ever happen. This will never happen. Power needs to be "free" and unknown for the people.
3316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: December 03, 2016, 11:40:54 AM
I think in order to get volume into decentralized markets someone needs to make a way that a buyer can purchase anything on ebay using a plugin where someone would purchase for them and charge a commission. Automatically populating the markets.

Hey David, I know that's different but do you think something like this would do the trick?
http://blog.shakepay.co/2016/shakepay-instant/
I don't how reliable this is, how safe it is but if this works as it says... I think you all understand the implications.
3317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 03, 2016, 11:31:56 AM
Inter Milan is again a very unreliable team: Mourinho's Triplete days are over and it seems a century since then. Thy have really no spine and it's really boring to watch them play.
For today's match Juventus is gonna win. Good odds.
3318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 03, 2016, 11:28:17 AM
If someone would have asked me what I thought of Bundesliga at the beginning of the year I would have said that Bundesliga is not my favourite competition: if you ask me now, I'd say that's the best thanks to Leipzig!!!
Anyway, below I share my parlay for the day

Bayer Leverkusen - Freiburg Bayer
Borussia Dortmund- Borussia Mgladbach over 2,5 goals
Wolfsburg - Hertha Berlin Draw or away
Hoffenheim - Koln Draw
Leipzig - Schalke 04 Leipzig!!!
3319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 03, 2016, 11:19:18 AM
No worries, everything is under control. Keep your keys private and hold tight. The best is yet to come.
Tomorrow Italy's vote on the Constitution could trigger the markets on Monday. But you all know that BTC is here 24/7 and I'd suggest you keep an eye on that vote. We know by now that these kind of events influence the BTC market.
3320  Economy / Services / Re: ♠ BETCOIN.AG ♠ Signature Campaign - High Pay - Monthly Payments - Bonuses ♠ on: December 03, 2016, 11:13:20 AM
I received my payment as usual.
I had doubts about my participation here as you read recently. I've decided to keep supporting this campaign for the time being.
See you around.
