3301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I now accept bitcoin payments in my Beauty shop on: January 02, 2023, 08:05:44 AM
What a year-ender for you satoprincess! Smiley
The trend is growing for those forum members that also own a business and they're adopting bitcoin and accepting it as a payment. There's nothing to lose for you guys and you just have to embrace the payment method and while you are a bitcoin forum member, you have to apply what you're up to.
I am sure that there will be more forum members that has a business that will start to accept bitcoin for their every products and services that they offer.
Yeah mate, just this close to end year there are several thread created about their Businesses accepting bitcoin(if not altcoins) and this made us proud of them because extending payment accepting is one of the best help we can contribute in crypto adoption in the future.
It is nice of you Satoprincess .
That's all we can do if we own a business. There might be not that much demand at the moment but the time will come when most customers will see that banner of bitcoin acceptance for their shops and eventually, the number of customers that pays them with bitcoin will increase.
There will be more for sure as this year starts and we shall see that many of them becomes successful both with accepting cash/fiat and mostly, with bitcoin.
3302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 02, 2023, 07:06:31 AM
That's not new in boxing, there are really questionable judging, they say boxing is corrupt, then that explain the allegations. However, we are still here supporting the sport, so we should not complain, just accept the fact that sometimes things does not happen based on our expectation. If we search in youtube, you will find a lot of fights with controversial results.

If I'm not mistaken, there are boxing events and matches before where decisions were changed upon being reviewed.

Like, the losing side will file a complaint, the boxing board or councils will review it, then from there, announce the final results. Another one, the losing side won't bother to make a complaint but the board will still review the fight (like what happened to Casimero).

For long-time boxing enthusiasts there, I'm sure they have an idea about that.
Yeah, there have been cases like that. It's a petition and complaint that they believe that there's a wrong result to the match that has happened and that's why it has to be reviewed again.
It's not a problem for the boxing committee because they're open to any fairness that might affect their reputation. But these days, I rarely see it happen anymore as most of the losses and fights that happen were respected for the results.
But if there's really a need to review a fight, then the losing fighter has to put it up to the process while the boxer that has won should just wait until an investigation comes.

Those who've seen previous bear markets, survived several winters, please share some hope and courage.
This is not the end, right? Smiley
Just HODL.
Nothing will make you feel disappointed when the next bull run has come when you're just holding. You sell at the start of the bull run and you're in profit, there's no regret and neglect on it.
Buy while you see the prices are quite low right now and you'll never know if we're going to still see it drop that much low when the next bull arrives.
Don't lose your courage, we've been there and also were scared. Reading those negative thoughts about the market, they're normal but only those that have kept their trust and instincts about bitcoin remain.
3305  Economy / Gambling / Re: SVIP9 BC.game any value? on: January 01, 2023, 11:23:37 PM

Everyone will discourage you to sell that. Just keep on using it as it seems you really know a lot on how much you'll benefit from having it.
There's no other people that will be happy to have it but only you since you've worked hard for it and basically, how long does it takes to obtain that amount you've mentioned? If it's not that much then just don't sell but keep it.
Just like I have said before and as you have also made it clear oos is not going to get any offer in thos forum, since most members here are well aware of the implication of third-party ownership of an account.
And at that the account is worthless and no one will waste the time or resources taking source risk.
You have made the right suggestions to ops, the best ops can do is to continue to use his account since he is not going to get any offer here.
That's why he just has to use it and no need to sell it. Thinking of how much he has spent all over to reach that rank for his account.

...how long does it takes to obtain that amount you've mentioned? If it's not that much then just don't sell but keep it.

Well, for SVIP 9 we need a 20.5M XP, which means we need to wager $20.5M dollars... I guess some people can do that in less than a month (I saw one guy doing it, with +$1M wagering daily...). But it's not about how long it takes, it's more about how much money you lost along the way and does bonuses you got (and BC has a lot of bonus drops for people who wager a lot) cover all that and brings some profit.

By the way, I doubt that OP is the owner of this account in the first place.
That's a lot then, it's likely that someone who has worked and wagered for it that much will not sell it. Knowing the effort and money that has lost on it will never make him sell it.
Unless he really wants to sell it and just plainly accept all of those lost wagers that he had made. But thinking of all the efforts and bets he's made to reach that, is he really going to sell it that easily? And yes, likely he may not be the owner of it, and possibly that is just a commission sale if ever it goes successful.
3306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your opinion on the future of Decentralised exchanges on: January 01, 2023, 10:55:52 PM
yes, most important fact is kucoin doesn't require to ask kyc that is a big reason it is my most favorite exchange even sometime it is my first priority than binance. lowest transaction fees and opportunity to trade minimum 5$, it’s right peoples still trust centralized exchange over decentralized exchange in various reasons.
Binance was like that before, actually, they're bought popular but it just so happen that Binance has taken the spotlight and became more popular.
But until kucoin becomes on the eyes of the regulators, it's not going to be long that they'll start asking for KYC for all of their level 1 customers. Just as binance, they have enforced it to all of their customers and if you don't, you'll be asked to just withdraw your money and that's the only feature that will be allowed if you're not kyced complete.
3307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: January 01, 2023, 03:59:50 PM

Realization will struck someone who's too addicted in gambling. When he's got nothing left anymore and you're right that when he's completely drowned.
But if he says that he's making sure that he's in control and he's not losing that much, he can confidently say that to others and tell the truth of his situation. Although some gamblers are only tellinogP that just to let others think that they're doing okay. This is for those that are hiding the reality of what they're experiencing.

Yes you are right that mate and that is reality as we all know once a gambler get addicted they  are only realize when there are one scenario in their life that they can not forget, for example from rich to poor, from lucky to in lucky then there's a chance that they can realize that they are alewsy addicted to gambling. That's why if we are a wose gambler we won't bet bigger amount amount cause not all the time we will win.
There are the gamblers that would like to bet with big amount because they're living the mentality of YOLO. They believe and think that it's the resort that they can do because that's what they'll be doing to get themselves satisfied with what they have remaining on their pockets.
It's highly unlikely that they'll just stop gambling and as the title says, there's a reason that motivates them to keep on gambling. Either they're an addicted gambler or they just want to chase their losses.
3308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: January 01, 2023, 02:34:00 PM
It's too risky to invest in Altcoins that are under the top 10 Altcoins, followed by bearish market conditions, of course all Altcoin values will go down as well as Bitcoin, but on the other hand, if we take advantage of this situation to invest in either Altcoins or bitcoin, I think this one way to get profits in the long term.
There's no exception with all of them because all altcoins are risky. You can't even be sure with the stablecoins right now due to some of them falling.
That's why someone who's investing in altcoins is not just a random investor but they know where they're putting their money.

so actually investing in altcoins is not too risky, if you want to be safe you should rely on bitcoin as the main handle.
Don't contract what you've said but I agree on the latter part, one should feel safe investing in bitcoin.

I am not accusing anyone here but just talking about the reality even myself thought I have control on my activities but only I realised when it took over me like I am talking about lifestyle and others. When we talk about gambling addiction its more sensitive because it involves money so can turn anyone's life upside down in no time.
That's the denial that's usually happening to all of us. Good thing that those have noticed that it's not doing themselves good, realizes it.
But those that don't, they'll take time until they finally have come to see the reality that it's not doing good on them and have to admit it themselves that they're already addicted and it's hard to control.
3310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: December 31, 2022, 04:47:05 PM
FYI, you can't realize what is actually happens when you're addicted to something until you're completely drowned in it, so don't take it too easy and make sure the addiction is not making you any loss and if you feel in that way just avoid it at any cost and let's see can you live without doing it then we can say you are on the top of your addiction.

A friend of mine was recently hacked, but he did not lose anything that was on hardware wallets.
Yeah, it's better to have most funds in a hardware wallet and that is because when someone accessed it without authorization, they're hardly get it because there's an authentication that shall go through with the device itself (hardware wallet) and without such access to the HW, they're unlikely to touch the funds that are kept there.
OP is just explaining that everyone can add as much as addresses as they can even in other networks under one seed phrase provided by Metamask.
For the most popular wallets in the world, most of the exploits are developed by hackers. If you store money on software wallets, you will still lose it as a result of inattention. A $70 hardware wallet protects against such threats. But if the user is inexperienced and uses unknown smart contracts, then even a hardware wallet will not help him.
What's wrong with the mindset of some of the people is, that they see $70 isn't an investment but an expensive buy.
They're holding a lot of tokens with thousands of value and they can't attain to buy hardware wallets or anyway of protecting themselves. Nothing wrong with having these free wallets that are giving the private keys and seed phrases.
But having a hardware wallet is another way of protecting our assets, they'll just start buying when they've experience such hacks.

3314  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Help: Questions on how Sell my services for BTC as Graphic Designer on: December 31, 2022, 02:14:20 PM
4. Do you ask for a downpayment?
Hindi ako graphics designer/artist pero may mga task akong ginawa na easy lang at related sa graphics. As in wala akong alam pero tinuruan ako ng naging short time client ko.

3316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs is looking to buy crypto, why? on: December 30, 2022, 11:53:35 PM
AFAIK, they are already into crypto and known as an investor of it.
Honestly, if they want to invest into crypto because of blockchain. They should just focus on blockchain applications and use cases of it.
3317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SBF released, Will Solana ($SOL) come back? on: December 30, 2022, 11:28:33 PM
Everyone seeing some bad news with solana. Projects made through solana are bridging to other chains.
It is no longer about sbf but solana itself.
Hacks that has happened there made the worse for solana and I guess we are going to see the next big downfall of a project on 2023.
3318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 30, 2022, 10:57:26 PM
Steve Nash does not have any experience coaching prior to his stint with the Nets. Maybe his lack of experience is the cause why he was not able to control his stars and coach the Nets properly. But I hope he would not stop coaching. He just needs to work under great coaches and get some experience and maybe someday he will be a good coach as well.
The respect is there for Steve Nash but it is true that him lacking for coaching experience really contributed to their early downfall.
Nevertheless, him being the coach wasn't respected by some of the players that he is coaching and the beef that he's got with them won't really show good performances and results.
3319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 30, 2022, 10:27:05 PM
As I stated before
Emotional control and bankroll management are the most important things to develop to gamble responsibly

This and knowing what you do for fun and what you do to make money
Its not advised to try to make a living out of gambling since most will loose money on the long run
When you are too emotional and needs some help just like BlawPaw did, you have to consistently using it for you to becom responsible. And when you get accustomed to it, it is going to be your time to think if you have to use it forever because you can't do it alone.
No problem with it until you are wholly responsible when you are going to gamble with or without the help of that feature.
3320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 30, 2022, 09:48:14 PM
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is perhaps the richest sportsperson in recorded history. He received a record $300 million for his last fight against McGregor, which none of the other sportsmen can dream about. The good thing about Floyd is that he never splurged his wealth or misspent it. He was careful with his money. And also, he never overstretched himself. He retired at the age of 40, when a lot of critics were of the opinion that he had at least 2-3 years left. Given all this, I don't think that anyone can accuse him of being money minded.
$300M for real? With a match against a professional athlete for other combat sports. That's totally a lot of money and contract for him. That's a big payday for him and he's certainly fits to the alias that he's got, Money.
I agree that Floyd in terms of his wealth, he knows how to handle it. People may see him boasting all about it but that's not the point, he's worked hard for it wherever and whatever his financial situation right now.

Floyd has two of the biggest PPV in history if I'm not mistaken, against Manny and Conor, so yeah the figure could be true. But I'm not sure if he is the richest sportsperson, probably the biggest and richest in the football player who can even get as high as $1 billion as salary with all the perks.
$300m truly is likely a real figure but you're also right that one of the biggest paid will be from Football players and they're also popular just as Floyd and Manny. But one thing for sure, every endorsement they do and every action they make, makes headlines.

He secured his future, and he didn't change his mind set when in terms of money, he keeps collecting when he see opportunities he will grab
and add it in his savings.

That fight with McGregor give both fighters a huge number of profits, an exhibition fight where fans and sponsors really bite up and
allow these fighters to convert their names into a huge money-making machine.

Hardwork with good management of his finances is equal to Money Floyd.
Yup, I've watched him talk about his finances and I'm just happy and admires him a lot. Before I was a hater but that's inside the ring. But going outside and how he works with all of his stuff, he's an admirable guy.
