3302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In a Bitcoin Disaster where would you move your Money? on: January 27, 2017, 07:14:44 PM
I was thinking  of what kind of disaster that could really happen to bitcoin. Do you think If any disaster happen today, any of the altcoins wont be troubled, they will lose the trust of customers, media will also attack them and government might call it a crime being involved in it. They might gradually go into extinction. In such a case you need your money back with you, then watch the response of the market.
3303  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War between US and China on: January 27, 2017, 06:50:54 PM
I believe Donald trump comment on trade war with China is not realistic because most Chinese goods are very cheap in fact they use to devalues there currency so that it will be affordable for poorer countries. there is one thing american,Germany are not aware off,the Chinese focus more on poorer countries by penetrating  into there market by selling cheaper goods, while Europe and Americans goods are too expensive
Is not about the price of their products, is about their jobs, world market, trade, influences, economy etc. They believe china has taken all these from them. whereas their past leaders, entrepreneurs and investors gave it to them. Trade war is not what is needed now. Another problem is that America doesn't know how many enemies they have gotten now, not only outside but right within themselves.some countries are not even ready to go back to America since the trade with china suits them. I just expect all these to come down after a while, just as brexit is not yearning as before. Then they should look for alternatives than trade war
3304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: January 27, 2017, 06:29:41 PM
the idea of bitcoin shops in the big cities are awesome!!! i think it will be very popular in the world and it can be one of the top tourist spots worldwide! i'm excited to know what kind of products and services that those shops will offer. i will save my bitcoin as early as now if this idea will become reality. this is really wonderful!
Very lucrative Idea, where the population is large, wide network bandwidth and communication system to rural communities but expect reaction from the banks and other competitors in the city.
3305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eGaaS: Electronic Government as a Service on: January 27, 2017, 05:12:23 PM
Talking about Yyobit, they rejected EGS...
Well, we do not need yobit. Many developers do not recommend to sell their coins on yobit and in many respects they are right. A pile of non-working wallets, they do not want to hear that the developers would fix the problem, simply ignore any treatment. If you get stuck there the coins that you have only two choices. Or wait a million years until subdue wallet or sold at an unfavorable price. Yobut added a lot of coins and they can not cope with everything. It is better to go on cryptopia.
Why do some exchanges reject some coins? and if they have their requirements why dont they make it public? If the big exchanges cant accept smaller one should
3306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signature/twitter Campaign Bounty for VirtualCoin (VC) [PRE-LAUNCH DEAL] on: January 27, 2017, 05:35:38 AM
I dont think the coin is on twitter yet, the 2 virtualcoin that appeared during my search dont carry the logo and dont have anything to related to it. The twitter campaign is still not ready, I think
3307  Economy / Speculation / Re: OKCoin and Bitfinex have the same volume now! on: January 27, 2017, 04:21:41 AM
Were people that naive to believe their fake volume? or maybe their own people really are naive, because no matter what it was obvious from miles away, now how funny that is even though they faked the volume network didn't have issues regarding transactions Smiley
The idea of a fake volume is still being investigated and not yet verified, whereas the community is large enough to have such volume. They have quite enough crypto enthusiast, If they complain of the volume of Okcoin what of other china exchanges
3308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: January 26, 2017, 09:55:31 PM
Most expressions around the topic were on personal feeling on Trump not how it relates to bitcoin price. I also feel the recent rise in bitcoin was not due to trump election winning. I love to watch Trump as a political clown but I dont think is time to form an opinion about him. Rise in dollar value should not affect the value of bitcoin also just that the environment remain amiable for bitcoin. Just a prayer against trade war with china in his time

3310  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective? on: January 26, 2017, 05:18:52 PM
With the so called signature campaign, I noticed most times i get to know about project through the announcement thread not signature campaign/avatar. The ANN thread is where the project is discussed and probable link to websites and blogs. Most signature/avatar say little about the projects, ,most times I dont care unless have seen the logo on icocountdown.
3311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Research on Bitcoin on: January 26, 2017, 04:59:45 PM
Maybe you can create a thesis about how bitcoin can be integrated into the physical world.
maybe you should give an idea. If it get more physical than being on internet as blockchain then the basic objective of bitcoin will be altered.
3312  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: January 26, 2017, 04:27:25 PM
Whatever the suggestion you might have heard, wait for as long as 2-3 months. hang around on this forum and learn a while. Study the trade, trend and have a personal experience, 2M is a lot of money to hurry and throw on what you dont understand. I assume you know it also, Even when you like to start, try a small fraction of money.
3313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy a car with bitcoin on: January 26, 2017, 03:57:59 PM
There you go: €140,000 Tesla Bought for Bitcoin in Finland

As a car seller, it'll have the same money laundering regulations as selling the car for cash. It's a nice gesture, but in the end it doesn't matter if the buyer converts Bitcoins to cash before the sale, or the seller converts it after the sale.
As a car seller do you consider the prices cheap? what of the shipping cost to shores?
3314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: January 26, 2017, 06:14:09 AM
i wouldnt say trading is unpredictable, it jjust need a great knowledge in what are you trading and trends of the market, be updated with the news, same thing happens with bitcoins, price depends on the market, some trends, like china and its position with bitcoins, the movement of the market, sales and buys and some other factors that can be reflected in btc prices. So the most important it s to know how to interpret the market trends
Those people who think and consider trading as unpredictable is just new to trade world
Yeah they think really hard to make money here they prefer to gambling instead sometimes
But once you have mastered trading , have a lot of experiences you will have different thought
Trading was so easy predictable as long as you not being greed.
Trading is only unpredictable for those that have no knowledge about how the markets works, but for the experimented trader they are able to analyze the movements of the markets and predict with great accuracy what will happen.
I guess even those who are knowledgeable, it is still unpredictable to them. I have not seen a trader who have been very successful on a regular basis, there are times that they failed also even how much effort they take. The only thing that is special to them is they are good in the long run since they have a continuous learning on what they are trading.

looking at it from the outside i could see why you think that. it seems that way.
i am not an expert trader but let me tell you that losing money in a trade does not mean that trader is losing or have failed to be successful. it is the total result that matters. you speculate about the market and predict it to some extent then, you make your move. if you win in 90% of the trades you make you are a god and that 10% loss is nothing because first of all your wins cover it and also you always do things to prevent a major loss like selling at a stop loss.
Losing 10% still makes it unpredictable, the experience is just the edge and this reduces the risk. There are lots of factors that affect failure which you cant control and some project you never saw could succeed that did well.
3315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Filthy scammers, cheats, hackers, thieves, conmen, fools and protestants. on: January 26, 2017, 05:03:23 AM
fiat is no better

bank thefts
blackmails
murders for hire
pickpockets
card cloners
nigerian price phone scams
phishing for love 'my love i need hospital bill paid or i die next week
sugar daddies, girls marrying old guys just to get name on a will
corporate money laundering
the list goes on

the only difference between fiat and bitcoin is there is less (never zero, but less) chance of knowing who the other party is to slap them with a wet fish/court order.

so never trade with anyone you dont know anything about. unless you can slap them with a wetfish/court order should they do you wrong, dont trade.

AKA.. rule 1: stranger danger

Exactly this. This community isn't poisoned or worse than any other community... The world is poisoned. People are like this, not Bitcoin. People scamming with fiat always existed, always went to jail left and right, always were dishonorable. That won't change anytime soon, if at all, unfortunately.

These are the kinds of threads that give mainstream media something to jump on regarding saying crap about Bitcoin Roll Eyes
To buttress, This is expected in such a global community, human are diverse so also their characters. There good ones too. This forum had provided check by introducing negative tag on people who are capable of doing such,to protect people from them
3316  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: January 25, 2017, 08:14:26 PM
government dont encourage the use of bitcoin, says it is not reliable after the research by the central bank.
fewer stores accepting the use of bitcoin as exchange value
low level of bitcoin knowlegde even with the expanding internet coverage and use
all these factors had affected the circle of bitcoin exchange
3317  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: January 25, 2017, 07:10:23 PM
Bitcoin is not more popular then dollar. Dollar is global currency used for many different trades. Governments and laws are one side of the dollar and bitcoin will have big problems in future because of that. We know who control the dollar, they will not be glad to accept something they cant control.
dollar remains universal trade unit, known to almost 90% of the world. Bitcoin has not done enough to gain that popularity and relevance. Some still believe that bitcoin take a form of wealth than a daily exchange. Dollar cant be restricted the way bitcoin is, in the world. Remember bitcoin is only relevant where internet is available. There is more to be done to keep bitcoin to that feat
3318  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Looking to leave Coinbase on: January 25, 2017, 06:19:55 PM
I'm now officially fed up with CoinBase. They rapidly accept my money when Bitcoin price is rising and I purchase, but if BTC has peaked and I need to sell quickly, the app conveniently becomes busy, and cannot process my request to sell.

They're basically forcing me to take losses.

Can anyone recommend a TRUSTED app with an exchange that is quick to process all requests that is also easy to use? I would prefer one in the USA. And one that works on the iPhone.

Thanks.

I have been using coinbase for past few months and i have not experienced any issues lately. However, due to my location, the feature of exchanging bitcoin is not available. Instead i use localbitcoins which is far very much convinient. You can give a try to localbitcoins and see if you can exchange easily.

Same i feel with coinbase. I do not find any reason to leave coinbase. They are good and currently only online wallet which offers zero transaction fee. Xapo has started charging minimal tx fee, so we are left with coinbase only if we want to enjoy zero tx fee.
the challenges is when the exchange is busy due to increase in price, which is thought to be undermine by the app to prevent trade at this time but not when the price is lower/less busier. This not good for an exchange and have been reading this often lately.
3319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price drops as PBOC continues inspections on: January 25, 2017, 02:21:42 PM
It seems that a second round of Bitcoin price crash just started after PBOC said that they will continue inspection of Chinese Bitcoin exchanges.

.....cryptocoinsnews.....

this is not news, cryptocoinsnews is once again creating clickbaits articles to generate traffic and also help the FUD dump happen.
the PBOC has been inspecting Chinese bitcoin exchanges for a while and they never stopped or were planning on stopping it.
and this so called drop started from yesterday but it was silent and slow selling of whales (you can check the charts and the volume), now it is shakeout time for the whales to buy back in again at lower prices.
What is their benefits in the FUD dump? Moreover, If up to 90% of bitcoin is traded in china, there is nothing to be done with the influence of PBOC on bitcoin price.
3320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to Invest 1 bitcoin on: January 25, 2017, 02:09:10 PM
When you are planning to invest don't listen to other people because you are going to blame them. It's better for you do some research there are many coins are launching daily, study them, research them, pick the good one who are supporting it and invest in it. In this way you will acquire some knowledge about how to research.
This opinion is out of experience, cos anyone who plans to invest in an ICO took a risk. It is just an evaluated risk when you research the ICO. There are a lot to consider in any ICO you are researching which should be stated. ANN thread of such ICO is also a platform to ask questions, sometimes directly from the staff of the projects.
