I think the fact you need the Bitshares platfrom to invest in your ICO is standing in your way to a broader participation.
In its current state it simply sucks. Slow and a not very userfriendly interace.
Also, the fact that you are threatening investors they might need to disclose their personal information (KYC policy) will scare even more people away from your project.
I like the idea and your sharing model a lot, will consider investing... Without the two barriers I mentioned it would be a no brainer.

Because ETC is what Ethereum is supposed to be. Decentralized. When that hard fork happened when investors lost money, some people (which I agree with) just switched to ETC and stopped supporting ETH.
Exactly this! Reading most of the comments here it looks like people here don't even understand that ETH is pretty much centralized and hard-forks invalidating coins, such as happened with the DAO-hard fork about a year ago, can and probably will happen again. Therefore I see quite some potential for growth for ETC in the next few years compared to ETH. |

Nope! His proposal suggests +25% of remaining coins instead of +25% added to existent balances on October 30th. Huge difference! I disagree with a massive drop of 25% remaning coins, this would totally distort the market, resulting in a 3x of coins in circulation and making it harder for people getting in now or later to get a fair share. Guys, you have to realize the mid- and longterm value of BTX will be largely determined by its massive adoption. If you choose a distribution model like cryptokid, you create a dump coin as Most people are probably selling 50%+ after this massive drop. For everyone interested in a stable Bitcore with great longevity and a chance to reach mass adoption and top100 - top50 market cap, I'd suggest to Go with the dev's plan. Regards, Krytowerk |

I disagree. Dogecoin will see a revival soon, probably end of 2017. 2018 is year of the dog in China. This is Not the only reason, though. Imo the crypto space is in need of some fun coins. And Doge has a Great history, a Safe network and the potential for a great comeback. Besides, the low prices right now seem like a great entry Point.
Since I don't hold any Doge currently I think I will buy some now.

On October 30th total supply of coins will increase from roughly 1m to 8m so technically the price should drop by 7/8 (87.5%). No wonder why price/hashrate is tanking... Incorrect, please refere to the post above yours! Just think about it: supply will only slowly increase, as it did before. Otherwise all 16M coins would already have been distributed because there was already a snapshot with all BTX redeemable - BUT most BTC holders did not bother to claim their BTX. The new model is great both for holders as well as for people getting into BTX now! |

According to the blockexplorer you only hold 23 BTX: http://51.15.78.208:3001/address/1FZEBuZsL6rtEDMjchVStPnwXJhFJ3CSwGAlso note, the amount of 23 is valid for the airdrop and you should receive +3% in the next aidrop. However you did not receive any before, because the first transaction to this address of 10.49 BTX was yesterday AFTER the airdrop (18th Sep 2017 22:06:53 ). |

Is there some news that's making the price drop? Personally, I don't mind the price dip, but I am curious.
Don't worry, just the usual quantum fluctuations in crypto space.  On a more technical note: BTX experienced a nice rally since beginning of September. It is typical to retract after a new high for a short period of time. Happens all the time with even the best projects. Most recent example would be Monero. It jumped up to $135 then retracted to ~100ish. I would be quite suprised if Bitcore's price didn't climb back up again in the near future. Has nothing to do with any news. Regarding BTX there are usually only good news anyway. |

If you have other ideas please post them. Good points are always well taken. Right now it it is easier for investors to get in without 2FA. Until Nov 1 when we launch, no coins can be moved. Transfers are "disconnected" Once launch occurs and transfers are turned on, 2FA will be turned on as well. Lol, I don't want easy, I want save. What kind of an answer is this?! - An account can get hacked and then it doesn't matter that transfers are "disconnected" until 1st Nov. You should make 2FA optional and nobody would suffer from it being "harder for inversors to get in". |
