3301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 30, 2022, 05:16:27 PM
Another game tomorrow for the Lakers, still against the Nuggets, so we can assume that it's another massacre? I'm guessing, their losing streak will continue after this game as they have no answer on this good team, I hope I'm wrong because I want to see their cold streak end.

I do not think it will change. They are the same team and no matter how hard Lebron and Davis tried, they still cannot carry the team they had built for this season. The Lakers are hosting the Nuggets this time, but the result will not change, I think. Anthony Davis is listed as questionable because of lower back tightness. If he cannot play, I do not they can defend their home court with just Lebron, Westbrook, and the guys. They needed Davis to be there to at least have a chance to win the game. Expect the losing streak of the Lakers to 0-6.

Right, Davis will be the key if they want to take a win against the Nuggets, unfortunately, he is listed as questionable and getting injured as early as this season. And this could be a sign of things to come for them. It will still be worst and obviously they might not get to the playoffs.

Agreed lebron can't carry thos team anymore.  His supporting cast is terrible.  Austin Reaves started at the 2 the other night lol.  Even with AD on the floor it's just not enough this is one of the worst shooting teams ever put together.

He is old already. Do not expect him to carry the team. He needed the young blood to step up their game and contribute as well. Too bad that the Lakers gave away their young and talented players to get Westbrook. Look at them now, they are blooming on their new teams while the Lakers did not get into playoffs last year and probably will tank this year as well. If they have just kept their young players in their Disney Championship, they could help Lebron since they are peaking right now.

He really need some help, someone needs to step up, they give up their core after their championship run because of the bad performance. But maybe it was a mistake for them to exchange it for Westbrook. This is the first time in Lebron's career to be on the losing end, they can't afford to lose another of Lebron's season this way.
3302  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake - The Official UFC Sponsor - Doesn't accept bets on the UFC on: October 30, 2022, 10:52:43 AM
Your account has a bet retriction due to a certain rule. You should clarify this to the support and not here because this limits is already been discussed many times and the Stake doesn't control the max bet limit but rather the bookmaker sets it on each account. Probably you win too much on your game history that’s why they lower your bet limit.

Contacting there live support is the best way to settle this matter. The title is misleading too, they accept bets but with only limited amount as seen on the screenshot.

I am not asking them to resolve the matter, I already know how it works.
All I'm saying is that on Twitter and on the "High Rollers" screen you see people posting bets of 5-6 digits easily, on the same event, risking supposedly $100k or more - and here even $70 is not being accepted.

The purpose of this topic is to show this extreme difference between the two, and not to look for a resolution for a $70 unplaced bet.

Perhaps it has to do with his account, he might need to level up to a higher VIP level, so that the restrictions could be removed.

And obviously, the high rollers might just be above the Bronze, for the level up, here is a good link: https://help.stake.com/en/articles/4793501-stake-vip-program-overview
3303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: October 30, 2022, 10:09:25 AM
This looked like two journeymen fighting. Paul is still not even remotely close to being a legitimate contender. He called out Canelo. Maybe he is delusional enough to think that he can beat him but the only possible outcome will be a vicious and devastating knockout where he is on the losing end.

I didn't watch the fight and if he call out Canelo, then obviously, it's for the money that is going to be in the table but I doubt that Canelo is going to bite on his offer. But for the sake of arguments, we could see a similar Canelo knocking out Amir Khan, its going to be scary.

I read that he drops Silva in the last round and he won in the judges scorecard, good for him.

Maybe he will go for another retired MMA fighter next.
3304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 30, 2022, 09:44:27 AM
Ya, another rough night for Klay Thompson as the Warriors lost to the Charlotte Hornets who didn’t have LaMelo Ball or Terry Rozier (their starting backcourt). I think the Warriors just had a bad three point shooting night. Live by the 3 die by the 3. I’m sure they’ll bounce back.

As for the Hornets, I’ve heard rumors of them looking at a trade with Gordon Hayward and some others for Russell Westbrook and some picks.
To be honest, I believe that sometimes an excellent team like Warriors can have bad days, with a bad performance.

It happens, and it's normal... it doesn't rule out the Warriors' image to be an excellent team and even one of the favorites to be this season's NBA champions.

Yeah, even from the best of them, upsets do happen, maybe it was not meant for them to win against the Hornets. They just have to stomach in that defeat in OT, go to practice and move on to the next game.

I'm not surprised though if the rumors are true that they are going to trade Hayward, the team is already talent laden and it's hard to see where Gordon will fall on the rotation of the team. And I think with Gordon's injury when he was still in Boston, it might have taken some best years from his career and it looks like he become just an average player. So it make sense that his name will be in the trading discussions not just for Russell Westbrook.
3305  Economy / Gambling / Re: I won 1500 dollars on a ufc fight + quit gambling on: October 30, 2022, 09:19:06 AM
I decided to bet big today on allen orland made around 1500 usd in profit today. On a  fight.

Knew for sure he is gonna win.

Last week i made 9000 dollar in accident. I. Huge profit decide to quit gambling until 2023.

Here proof that im real man and i won:

https://www.loom.com/share/b6e6e779f2554471946f76092bde6495

Good and congrats to you, that was a bold prediction on your side and it seems that you really knew that he is going to win so you have to bet on him and win big.

But I do agree that some of us really wanted to quit gambling, however, as per my experience, whether I win big, I tend to continue to go and bet again. I guess that's our first instinct as a gambler because we tend to believed that we are still going to win and we want to have that kind of experience again. The high that gambling brought to us specially if we are winning. Not to burst the bubble, but I have a feeling that you might continue to bet if you see some fight that you think you will profit huge again, just saying.
3306  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: October 30, 2022, 08:32:44 AM

3307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would a Nation of Sports Gamblers Look Like? on: October 30, 2022, 08:11:28 AM
I don't like a nation of sport gamblers as they would be in default debt really soon because no one would really work, all of them would have their mind in their betting.
A nation of sport gamblers will have the problem of having citizen who are mostly Irresponsible. The gambling will not affect everyone making everyone irresponsible, but it will surely have the number of irresponsible people more than the responsible. The irresponsibility is people who gamble without control, and those that will do anything just to keep getting money to gamble including involving in crime.

For a country like us, since when I have the ability to understand what gambling is, I saw a lot of problems as well. Crimes for one, and then parents becoming irresponsible like would just go and play all day without taking care of their kids. However, this is just prominent in provinces here because of the proliferation of illegal betting, underground cockfighting and others and it is being control by a group of powerful men and that they have corrupted and bribe the police and even government officials. On the other hand on the city, we have big casinos and you can see the same pattern though. Because when I go, I see a lot of gamblers who really trying their luck, just average joe who want to make it big by winning. We have a term here, "one day millionaire", and that's what their goals is. So I guess I have witnessed what a nation of not just sports gamblers, but gambling in general looks like.
3308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: October 30, 2022, 07:51:11 AM
I think for some it's a disappointment to see how the fight turns out to be, but yes, a win is a win and so Loma will take this one, whatever you call it. It's just interesting to see how big Ortiz is, as I have mentioned in the weigh-in, he looks drain but has a good chance to rehydrate and I think he did here. Probably there is no rehydration clause that he could easily be gaining back some fluids in his body. Ortiz might have won some early rounds but Loma took over the latter rounds for me so I don't see any robbery here.

So Haney is watching in the background and he might be the obvious fight for Loma next year.

And hopefully though, Loma should step up, let's give him the benefit of the doubt that it could be his long absence from the ring that he seems to have experience the known phenomena of ring rust.
3309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lottery's defense to not paying a huge winning. on: October 29, 2022, 11:54:42 PM
As what the court will rule, give us the proof that some irregularities has happen here before making the final decision. So as this point we really don't know who are telling truth.

But as far as I know, there are people that are extremely lucky or may have developed a system that they can win multiple times in a lottery. So this might be the case here, the guy could be very lucky indeed if he has won multiple times already and so the lottery company has to pay him his winnings.

3310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: October 29, 2022, 11:34:11 PM
^^ Richard Commey might be tehnical for Loma though, but look at how he destroyed him, hehehe. And the thing with Loma is that he has subtle punches that was really awkward, like intentionally punching you in the gloves or just pulling your hands down with his own hands that sometimes his opponents doesn't know how to react and even how technical you are, in this case Ortiz, who is still very young and yet very "technical" already, he might be in this position that he can respond and then Loma catching him off guard and score a knockout win.
3311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear market Survivals on: October 29, 2022, 11:14:43 PM
Any coin that survives this bear market will do well come the bull season

Yeah, probably 90% of the project that survived the crypto winter might do good in the bull run. But it's going to be tough, I mean we still have a whole year in 2023, so they will be tested. I think not only projects but mid to lower exchanges (that does not scam), will have a low rate of survival.

And the thing with this coins is, if you have been lucky to invest in bearish market, hold and then in the bull run they become of the hottest projects and investors pouring their money on it, for sure it's going to be a big windfall for you. So let's continue to find those gems right now,  Grin
3312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jermell Charlo vs Tim Tszyu - Jan 28, 2023 on: October 29, 2022, 10:59:06 PM
Tim is a huge underdog in this fight. This is the first time he is facing such experienced opponent.

Yes, last time I checked, Tim is 3:1 underdog in this fight, not as bad as I thought initially, but yeah, since this is the champion that he is going to face, Charlo has all the advantage as far as experience goes.

Dont know, maybe he should have one more intermediate fight before he is testing himself in a title fight. He could have ask for an advice from his father, but his father is not involved into Tim's careers, as Tim said that he wants to achieve everything himself (like his dad). He says that if father is involved, then everyone would think that he has achieved everything only with fathers help. I think Charlo gonna win by UD here, he is more matured, had better opponents.

Tim is rank #2 - WBC
#3 - IBF
#2 - WBO

He is unrank though by WBA. But it doesn't matter, he has gain the respect of several organizations that he is on the top of the list for mandatory for their champion Charlo. So I guess he deserves it from the get go to become the next challenger for the belt.
3313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on: October 29, 2022, 10:44:56 PM
Can bitcoin go down to 10k$ this year. The fluctuation of the crypto space now is dragging the coin, and I think is still going down more before it can regain it strength. So can it still go down or rise back to 60k$ this year? Let discuss

It might or might not, we really don't know. If it goes down to $10k, what will be your strategy? are you going to buy or not? that is the big question here.

As for $60k this year, it's already out of the question. If by chance we will go there, we need x3 of the current price and I don't think it's achievable at this point as we are in a bearish sentiments.

The catalyst for a eventual bull run is the halving, which is going to happen in 2024. So still very far if you are looking for a massive run. On the other hand, while waiting for it, all you can do is invest and buy and accumulate and then HODL.
3314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 29, 2022, 10:32:45 PM

They were already pretty good last year, finished 9th and they were just a new team considering it has been like 2 years or 3 years since Lebron left if I am not wrong, so its a whole rebuild project right now for them because after Lebron left they were horrible, and only after a few years they already have a decent team. That Donovan Mitchell move was a beast move, they really got a great player with him, and he is very young as well so the timing fits perfectly too. However, they are not "there" yet, they need to manage to find a way to get one more level higher. If they had one more star player, then they would be going for east title for sure, but right now as it is, they are a clear playoff team, but their second round depends on who they face.

4 years to be exact, if my memory serves me right, and still up to this day they are still picking up the pieces when Lebron left them, they even fire Ty Lue during that era isn't it? So they are still in the rebuilding phase, yes they have a good record last year, they also started very strong only to falter later.

And I would agree that it was great move for them to acquire Donovan Mitchell, Donovan needs a new home and he seems to be settling down already this early or he is such a great player that when surrounded with another good player he clicked immediately.
3315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 29, 2022, 10:22:20 PM
I like the Utah Jazz vs Grizzlies Memphis tomorrow.

The hot team Jazz came from a big loss against the Denver Nuggets, so they are playing a back to back game. They might be a bit tired but they will surely play hard to start winning again, they are a slight underdog at home but I'm thinking of taking the moneyline.

Yes, it will be a tough game for the Jazz, not sure about the Grizzlies game though, it's going to be a very difficult game for them even at home court but we will see. I won a bet on them against the Celtics last night, so yeah this is a back to back.

Nevertheless, I might go with them here as they are again a slight underdog at ML.
3316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to DCA when BTC crashing on: October 29, 2022, 10:11:08 PM
Lets be assumed

BTC Crashing 20000$ and 15000$ maximum . From 20000$ how to DCA?

You must be good at reading the charts if you want to DCA at the right points.

I think DCA though has nothing to do with reading the charts. It is strategy wherein you buy bitcoin at certain time, for example every week or every month with within your budget range regardless of the price.

When the prices are dropping you need to wait and see when the price are bouncing back.
Just when they are bouncing back you can buy them and wait to see how the price goes next.
If the price goes further down then again wait for it to recover and buy at lower prices and if it goes up then wait for price to bounce back downwards and take profit.

But I guess your point is that it's better to buy when the price is down, yes that is good. But then again, as I have said, it really depend on your budget size as you are not buying on a single prize point, but instead at different levels that you simply do it on a a "average", hence the term DCA.
3317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let me join the Bitcoin Forum on: October 29, 2022, 10:00:25 PM
I guess the timing of you entering the market could be good. The price is still very cheap and if your intention is to invest and make money and profit then you made the right now. I guess that is the first thing that you will get, financial freedom, meaning because of your investment on bitcoin, you will have a good cash flow and you can do whatever you want, buy things for your and for your family. So it's going to be a good experience for you down the line, invest and hold and then wait for the next bull run to enjoy your profit.
3318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Websites vs Casino Apps: Which Option is Better? on: October 29, 2022, 09:50:56 PM
Yeah, some of of are very traditional and uses casino websites because that's what they want. Screen is big and then the user experience is very different.

But there are many of us who are in the go and could be downloading the casino apps, which is faster.

So it's really up to the individual preference, personally I do like the play on my PC if and I have to choose.
3319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 29, 2022, 05:26:30 PM
Tyrese Maxey really felt the zone. Even the heat checks are sinking in.
9 out of 12 three-point shots, 15/20 field goals, 44 points, his new career high, and possibly one of the best games of his career.
Maybe even the Raptors fans did love this kind of performance. For the 76ers fans, it's a good sight, they know there will be players that will step up their game while Embiid is resting his knee.

Sadly, they will be playing back-to-back with an exhausted body tomorrow but so is their opponent Chicago Bulls.

Yes, congrats to him making a career high, it's good that he was still with the Sixers, he really improved a lot and could be their future.

How about the game of Mitchell and Caris Levert? scoring 40+ points against the Boston Celtics and a win in Overtime? Not sure when was the last duo who score that big in Boston Garden. I thought that the Celtics will win this game as they have taken the majority of the lead in the 4th, but the Cavs handcuffed Jayson Tatum, mostly double teaming him forcing outside pass. Good win by the Cavs.

The Cavs are definitely making some noise out in Cleveland.  Mitchell is doing his part and getting them wins, Love looks rejuvenated and ready to make a strong effort out there (I believe he's in a contract year and trying to score a new deal) and the other guys are all coming along.  I think they've got the chance to win against anyone every night due to their size and now with Mitchell, scoring capability.  I doubt anyone expected them to start off 4-1 though.  They're outperforming and for gamblers, that's great to see.  Smiley  I'm not sure how long they'll be able to keep up this momentum though.  I believe they're just catching people off guard because it's a new look team with a lot of talent and size.  At some point the league will figure out how to beat them.

True, they were the slight underdog in their game against the Celtics and so I put a bet on them at +5.5 and it's good that they win and it's really impressive on what Mitchell is doing for the Cavs right now as if he got something to proved in this season when he got traded.

And yeah that is the question, too early to rate them this good, but it they can maintain this level in the first half of the season which is very hard to do as teams as going to step up after 10 games or so. So let's see how far the the Cavs can go this season.
3320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: October 29, 2022, 05:00:20 PM
Here is the official weigh in

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Af2bBsdcx5M

Loma - 134.6 lbs
Ortiz - 134 lbs

Ortiz though looks weight drain, but for sure he will rehydrate after the weigh in. While Loma looks relax and smiling with the press and his fans. And I'm sure majority of us are very excited to see Loma once again and there are a lot of fights waiting for him, Devin Haney or Shakur Stevenson.
