33042  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashnet login down. on: January 27, 2016, 01:09:29 AM
the lotto drove price down a lot.

basically they are selling s-7's on hashnest for 3 coins via the lotto they run.

https://www.hashnest.com/lucky_hashes/running

you get a 4860gh miner for 3 coins.

wtf do I mean  simple

30 people buy 100  shares cost = .1btc each 30 x .1btc = 3 btc

to be sure you win you need 30 different people , well 30 different accounts.

3 btc / 4860 gh= 0.000617  current trading price is now .0005899

when the lotto started price was over 0.0011

so combine the undercutting of the normal sales with the lotto and diff rise and you get price crash.

I am fully out of China  no miners hosted or any hash nest.

It will only get worse.
33043  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How much power will an S7 use per month in kWh? on: January 27, 2016, 12:47:46 AM
Lastly the 1600 g2. Costs solid money

If you buy a server 2980 platinum or a 2880 silver server psu

They cost at least 100usd less. Can run 2 s-7's

And I have finally developed a decent fan mod for under 30 usd.

I am almost ready to show it.

On this site.
33044  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jan 11 to Feb 11 Sidehack Compac Stick pool new 30 day run. Birthday promo on: January 27, 2016, 12:38:35 AM
Happy pre-birthday!!

Here's to hoping we hit one

I thought it was 26 Tongue

I lived in 21 time zones while in the U.S. Navy so for everyplace it is the twenty seventh I will celebrate it.

So right now it is the 26th in New Jersey but in  the UK it is the 27th.

I figure this promo should last 48 hours if you count all the time zones😯
33045  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: I need help with amps and S7... on: January 26, 2016, 11:55:27 PM
okay  missed this.

if you are having an electric man come in.
if you have enough empty spaces on your panel

you should do 2 things get a whole house surge protector

http://www.amazon.com/Square-Schneider-Electric-HEPD80-Electronics/dp/B00CONA1OQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453852015&sr=8-1&keywords=whole+house+surge+protector

and get a l6 30- r installed

http://www.amazon.com/Superior-Electric-YGP017F-Electrical-Receptacle/dp/B00J3Z9X60/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1453852121&sr=8-8&keywords=l6+30+r

to do the above you need  4 spots on the circuit panel

now code for 30 amp is 10AWG WIRE
CODE for 20 amp is 12 awg wire

I would hope the op has his panel rigth near the spot he wants the power out let.

a 30 amp circuit will run a 30 amp pdu

the pdu should have a fued and derate to 24amps.   this will allow for 4 s-7's on the pdu

24 x 240 = 5760 watts   that is 4 s-7's

here is a good pdu on ebay

low end

you may want better

here is a good one

33046  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 26, 2016, 09:48:17 PM
Anyone have any idea how much the price per BTC/TH/Day should be with the current difficulty ? The price on NH are quite high at the moment (0.0048 and over) ...
The simplified formula for figuring out your expected BTC per day is:
Code:
Block Reward / (Current Difficulty * 2^32 / hash rate / seconds in a day)
So, using that:
Code:
25 / (120033340651.23696899 * 2^32 / 1000000000000 / 86400) = 0.00418979
So, at current difficulty you'd expect to make 0.00418979BTC per TH per day.

That's why Phil's got his Avanlons pointed to NH... because he's making considerably more than expected at the current rental rates they're charging.

yeah it is hop skip and jump.

I can't let what happened to me with mmpool ever happen again.  the last 2 blocks took 6000 hours and 250 days.
Have to be patient.
On the micropools.
For now I am earning .006 instead of .004 so have to stay at nicehash and then come back here in a day or two.
33047  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jan 11 to Feb 11 Sidehack Compac Stick pool new 30 day run. on: January 26, 2016, 09:44:01 PM
First if you hit a block you get .1 btc and 1 sidehack compac stick

promo starts now and ends on the last hour of the 27th of Jan

btw I am renting some hash as the giveaway.

Happy Birthday

Well done on the mmpool Block, I guess that one was a long time coming?

Thanks to you and those throwing some serious hash at this.. Let's hit that Block.

Rich

It took 3600 hours+
  or
150 days +

if you count the block before that  2400 hours  total 6000 hours for 2 blocks  250 days

if luck had been normal it would have been 5 or 6 blocks which in my case would be about 20 more coins.

I can't believe I bleed that much and survived .  I got about 8 coins vs 25-28 coins

Supporting small micro pools can be very difficult.

This time I will have to point smaller hash at them

This club will solve a block, I just know it!  Only a mater of time (not too much, hopefully)...

I was aske to avoid  double postings.  I wanted to bump the thread. Thus the backup account

...

ty very mutch i think it's place of confusion whit out someone who know all the way it's proceed !
That and unlucky block it's huge!

ty again and again gl all !

Try to understand what miners do is use machines to move coins in a block.

we get paid to move it safely .

so 11,000 coins  we get 25 coins to move it.(rounded the numbers)

you and I are like the drivers in the armored truck.  I have more time in on the job and get full percent of my machines.

Right now the time needed to get the full percent of your machines is about 55 hours.

So if you kept your machine on steady you are getting close to the 55 hours.

How much machine power do you have?
How much time are you on steady?

ty for fast andswer ,

i had garbage reward and this one
395103   155QjkceNmvV4yKFYoVji8sYFWYMV6RkJR       0.00024592
since 7h and it's not in my wallet.

Yes the last block is still 'maturing' you can see the status of the block here: https://www.kano.is/index.php?k=blocks and you will notice that it has +50 confirms. when this reaches +101 it will change to 'Matured' after which Kano will manually process the payments to everyone and will then post confirmation of the transaction here. Occasionally he will wait to make payment if there is another block that is almost matured and then he will do all payments at the same time. Also sometimes there might be a delay if he is sleeping when the block matures.

ty for your fast andswer ...
ok : they calculate reward befor the mining start and they pay at +101 proceed

when i look on the number 395103   give me information on reward block for :

this is under the hood ! We work for all the huge block and we paid for the block we had ?

ty again and again gl all !

no you have everything wrong     the 11,630 btc is like the money in an armored truck  we got about 25 btc to deliver the 11,630 btc

Whoa - current "fixed" order price from NH:

0.0095

yeah do not  rent from them at the moment.

I am renting my 2 ½  avalon6's  to them

  I am getting over 0.006

There is some good money from them.

getting .0063 here minus  3% = 0.006111 per th

the rate from f2pool = 0.004022

so 0.006111 vs 0.004022

yet 230ph at f2pool and under 10ph at nicehash

33056  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Discussion about the life time of hardware on: January 26, 2016, 03:34:44 PM
in morocco we cost 0.09$ per 100KW/H...it's cheap ou not ?

So 0.0009$ per kWh? Make sure you're not messing up the math and you're not missing other fees. But if thats the case then thats nearly free electricity.

0.09$/kWh is high but not unusual. 0.05$/kWh is very good. 0.02-0.03$/kWh is greatness and anything less would be hyper fantastic for mining.

This could be horribly wrong but a article - https://energypedia.info/wiki/Morocco_Energy_Situation say's "Prices range from 0.9 MAD per kWh for up to 100 kWh / month to 1.49 MAD per kWh beyond 500 kWh / month."

.9 MAD  = approx 0.093046 USD

So it is normalish electricity nothing special.  But I would check as if site is right it rises as your usage does.  And this is old like 1.5 to 2 years so very well could be higher or lower.

Do you have a VAT aswell?   It appeared you do there, but that will also make a difference depending on price.

it's exactly nembers that u give, so i think you want to tell it's good price to start mining and build my little own farm ? s

Your power price is borderline to make profit.

Your country is pretty hot.
Cooling would cost extra money.
How do you plan to keep the gear cooled off?

120,033,340,651/113,354,299,801 = 1.058921812 -1 = 5.892%     and this as right

I will start a new thread later today.

prize will jump to .2

I finally hit a block with mmpool  so I will bump up the prize fund.
