Working on a school project and I'd like some great resources to help me with it. Important information I'm looking for is the 'advantages and disadvantages of Bitcoin'. I would prefer credible resources which I can cite in the project, books are great if you know any.
I would like to suggest this forum for sources of information on bitcoin but I realized that in order for a resources to be credible it needs to be not anonymous. You can still look for the links posted in here and look for the disadvantages and advantages of bitcoin. There are also books and newspaper publish so it may be a great help to you project. |

Ofcourse it is risky, do not leave you tokens on an exchange wallet unless you want to sell it already. It is no safe to put you coins to someones purse because we do not know what might happen. They can easily get it from you so you need to be aware of that and be wise in handling you money in an exchanger. |

I don't see bitcoin as a thread to other fiat currencies. Bitcoin is one of the best product of technology and through it we can do transactions online. Virtual money like bitcoin does not compete with fiat currencies. Bitcoin just want us to hold our money by ourselves; by having a wallet in your own gadget. |

So many crypto currencies are coming UP . They are much cheaper than Bitcoin for now. It is so hard to decide which to buy . Some are in good promos, to buy or invest to it while it is cheaper and sell when the price Will getting high. Is it a good idea to buy while we can not afford yet Bitcoin?
It depends on your strategy. If you think bitcoin is worth investing than the other cryptocoins then go for it. You can also buy bitcoin when its price is low. Just beware of buying other coins, make sure that they are worth buying because I don't think each of us can't afford to lose out money |

I think it is a good news for everyone. Samsung having their oen mining software is a wise move to let their community expand a little more. You are right with your statement. Bitcoin will be nothing if it has no users and it is us. People are the one who runs the cryptocurrency world. A human made bitcoin and the cycle goes on; people would take risk , invest in a crypto platform and get higher amount in return. The best example is a trader, he is the one who plays in the market to trade. Just like people and bitcoin. We are the one who have a major control unto it. Many bounty campaign give token..often token bounty has not been paid .. you already exist in the market .. after the price paid it down drastically ... if we hold the token .. later will be able to rise or even added down the price of token bounty
I've experience that whenever I have my token and then I am planning to sell it but whenever I see the price of it that time I am expecting it to to pump a little more but it goes down later on. I suggest that you should follow your guts because we can't predict when will be its highest peak. |

Well I educate myself about cryptocurrency through asking experts about it. I have colleagues who are fond of using bitcoins in their life so I ask them questions on how do i start gaining knowledge about crypto. I also watch news and read some articles. Sometimes I watch in youtube and most of the time I learn things about cryptocurrency in this btctalk forum because it is all in here. All your questions about crypto world would be answered here by posting a topic of your thoughts. |

What can you do when you have been scammed ? what are your possibilities to recover your funds, I mean here in the community, excepting going and report to the police.
There is no gurantee that all you've loss because of scam can be return and recover to you. All you need to do next time is to secure your money and don't let other know your personal informations and don't trust easily. For me the easiest way to teach about Bitcoin is to give them an example to what level of understanding they could possibly understand when you explain it to them. Kids nowadays are smart and can understand easily maybe because of the power of social media. For a 7 year old, you can make them understand and teach them Bitcoin like buying candies on some store.
That's right. In order for you to teach a 7 year old kid about bitcoin, you should explain it in a very interesting way. Children nowadays are more on technology so you can use it in teaching your child about bitcoin.You must have patience in dealing with these because you need to caught their attention for them to listen to you when explaining these things.
