That's how George Bluth Sr. teach important lessons to his kids in Arrested Development. Cheesy

Though Wheeler has said he had already been examining the legal authority before Obama’s statement, the White House’s move seems to have ratcheted up the pressure for him to act.

Haha, Obama stealing the credit.

So, if this goes forward the draconian "six strikes" law becomes unenforceable or even void?

3325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Study Says - 50% Drop In Cryptocurrency Transactions Will Happen This Year on: February 06, 2015, 02:46:54 AM
Actually, the study doesn't conclude bitcoin transactions will reduce 50%, it says the dollar amount of transactions will reduce up to 50%, which is a major difference.

Here's the study http://www.juniperresearch.com/research/cryptocurrency

You can find articles around the web with the conclusions.

Realmente.

Cheesy

Well, first I gotta say I don't believe that story to be true. I think it's a buttcoiner's joke or prank, whatever. But I have to say that this sounds really sexist. Why is everyone continuing to differentiate between men and women that much. And then calling her names... Well, I think this is the proof we're still far away form mass adoption. If women aren't on board, a technology or invention is useless.

It's no secret women are less interested in technology than men.

The story can be true, I don't see why not, every time we discover something new and exciting we talk about it to everyone we know, and more compulsive obsessive personalities can lead to unhealthy amounts of time spent studying it or even spending too much money on it...

Are they? How do you know that? I know enough women who are highly successful in the STEM fields. The only thing they complain about is men who treat them as if they were stupid or not as good, just because they don't have a Y-chromosome. And, as a man, I gotta say I'm quite fed up by this, as well. This stupid cycle just needs to be broken at some point.

I'm in the tech sector (informatics/computer engineering) since 2000...

I don't believe that reddit post for a second (too much blatant trolling), but I'll comment anyway.

Financial decisions in a marriage should be something that is openly discussed and agreed upon by both participants. If one of the individuals is making decisions on their own, that's a breach of trust and once trust is gone I see no future for the relationship.

This really isn't about Bitcoin.

Post's already locked.
3335  Other / MultiBit / Re: Please read, I need help! Reward to whoever can help me! on: February 05, 2015, 04:52:06 PM
Out of all the methods I have used this one. I have sent my coins to a paper wallet and even after over 24 hours it is at 80+ confirmations. Is this normal or is something wrong?

Any explanation would be appreciated. pedrog send me your bitcoin address.

Well, if you have control of your coins, that's fine. Smiley

80 confirmations take around 13 hours, maybe your transaction took a while to be accepted.

According to what I've heard previously, most of the ransomware is asking for bitcoin.
This is the first time I've heard of anyone asking for litecoin. Kind of bizarre to ask for LTC, if you think about it.

On top of that, giving only 24 hours for people to pay...
