3321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: October 25, 2020, 03:14:31 PM
What happened in 2016 may be repeating. Recent opinion polls show that Trump is now leading in swing states such as Florida and Arizona. But then again, these two states can't guarantee him a victory. He needs to win states such as Pennsylvania. At least in PA, Joe Biden is still leading comfortably. In the end, everything will come down to turnout. If the Democrat voters believe that Biden is winning easily, then they may stay at home and make things difficult for Biden/Harris.

I heard an opinion piece on the BBC World Service overnight, the Republicans (who normally predominantly vote postal) are voting early in person while the Democrats (who normally vote early in person) are lodging postal votes so it will be interesting what kinds of voter turn out there are on the day - especially given each state has it's own laws on how ballots are conducted in their states.  (That and the threat of challenges to the postal voting via the courts)  Roll Eyes

Agreed - people might be saying they're not voting Trump, but will do so anyway.

As I said just above I think in 1-2 weeks time the price will come off of the boil (ten days 'till the US election) - People are going to hodl their coins for about the next 2-3 weeks after the election then the price will move again around the 20th of December before dropping in the new year like it did the last time it reached these levels.

(Do people wait until 23:50 and then make a certain bet on the price of BitCoin I wonder??)
3323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: October 25, 2020, 02:57:58 PM
The two posters before me have hit the nail on the head why children (not even teenagers) should be allowed to gamble.  It may sound a cliche but becoming an adult means you have a little of the maturity needed to decide if you are going to gamble and indeed how much to gamble when you do.  Even socially much-less professionally.  Many people who have a gambling addiction have it because of character flaws that have made them weak to the point they rely on a quick fix when they have a win (no matter how fleeting).

First identity gets banned, three UID's created.  A second UID gets banned and two more UID's are created around the same time.

There's probably more connections to this user who doesn't seem too concerned with their alts being banned.
3325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [~1 BTC Bounty] on: October 25, 2020, 05:53:40 AM
The funds aren't locked in any node's mempool nor his wallet;
The problem is: he can't propagate the 'Signed RAW Transaction' over the network because almost all nodes are rejecting it, thus it can't reach any mining nodes.
Most pools/solo miners' nodes are also configured not to accept such transactions so he's looking for a miner who'll accept the txn - that's what the bounty is for.

Yep, I get that - I'm talking about re-creating the wallet as it was (hopefully) before that TX occurred and (for want of a better description) creating a double spend via a TX that the nodes WILL process.

Worth a shot.
3326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [~1 BTC Bounty] on: October 25, 2020, 04:20:46 AM
Alternatively, my Github request could be implemented but that is near impossible as I am seemingly the only one with this issue who has a significant amount in limbo. Recreating the wallet doesn't help any of that

My reasoning in suggesting it was perhaps the unconfirmed transaction *might* not get restored and hence the funds are freed-up enabling you to create a new transaction that hopefully works given the previous one seems to have slipped out of the mem-pool.

Let's just look at something:

Trust feedback on the 29th of June, 2019.

  • xocel gives Crypt0ptimus, sambiohazard, Sicarious, stickiest, xEleven, jyap positive trust feedback
  • sambiohazard gives jyap positive trust feedback
  • stickiest gives krislester, xEleven, xocel, sambiohazard and jyap positive trust feedback
  • jyap gives sambiohazard, xocel, weifa and StDragomir positive trust feedback

Are any, or all of these extra UID's connected to our four in the first post?

Trust feedback on the 29th of June, 2019.

  • xocel gives Crypt0ptimus, sambiohazard, Sicarious, stickiest, xEleven, jyap positive trust feedback 2019-06-29

3330  Economy / Reputation / [Investigation] Four users who distrust pooya87, ndnh, aliashraf, gembitz etc on: October 25, 2020, 03:02:47 AM
TL;DR:

Four core UID's that DT distrusted pooya87 on or around the 30th June 2019 are alts with the main alt, jyap having built up in two instances alts for trust abuse via DT, merit and feedback with two main dates being 2019-04-30 and again on the 2019-06-29  (+/- 1 day in each instance).  Most of these alts receive and then give merit two-for-one from jyap as well as trust feedback and DT trust.

Background:

In week 25, four users distrust pooya87, ndnh, gembitz, btpowers, rapidleech, bathrobehero, bbcoin, aliashraf, Chol_gol, ARTISTCOLONY, hrh_fourtyseven and a-zimmerer.

Code:

Registration Date:12/8/2013 2:21:38 AM (Active 482 days ago) xocel
Registration Date:1/6/2014 6:12:02 PM (Active 435 days ago) sambiohazard
Registration Date:5/17/2014 11:15:37 AM (Active 4 days ago) jyap
Registration Date:6/19/2014 3:17:08 PM (Active 482 days ago) stickiest

Two users have activity within a 90 minute time frame:

Code:

6/29/2019 4:53:19 AM woke up xocel
6/29/2019 6:13:17 AM password reset via email sambiohazard

That same day 29th of June 2019, all four users give others (including the four in this investigation) positive trust feedback:

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
.
.
.

Merit:

xocel sends jyap 3 merits (in 2 transactions)
sambiohazard sends jyap 1 merit
jyap sends stickiest 2 merits and stickiest sends jyap 1 merit.

Trust feedback on the 29th of June, 2019.

  • xocel gives Crypt0ptimus, sambiohazard, Sicarious, stickiest, xEleven, jyap positive trust feedback
  • sambiohazard gives jyap positive trust feedback
  • stickiest gives krislester, xEleven, xocel, sambiohazard and jyap positive trust feedback
  • jyap gives sambiohazard, xocel, weifa and StDragomir positive trust feedback

DT Trust of each-other.

So I had a look at their DT trust and found all four created near identical DT trust / distrust that same week including all four trusting each-other.

Conclusion:

It is my opinion that all four UID's ( xocel, sambiohazard, jyap and stickiest ) are alts who have built up "Trust" via every avenue available to then simultaneously place distrust on pooya87, ndnh, gembitz, btpowers, rapidleech, bathrobehero, bbcoin, aliashraf, Chol_gol, ARTISTCOLONY, hrh_fourtyseven and a-zimmerer on or around the 30th June 2019

Is there a reason why Blockcypher was able to broadcast it in the first place? Normally the broadcast code rejects it on most other websites but Blockcypher seemed to let it through.

If they did accept the TX in the first place, then they don't now:

Blue Wallet

Well... if you have a blue wallet, then you have a mnemonic seed that you can user to recreate the wallet via another service - possibly one that enables you to export the priv key of the wallet that contains the funds, then install priv key on a wallet (e.g. core) the zap the transactions and create a new transaction either after the first has slipped from mempool, or with much lower fees.

Code:
sendrawtransaction 01000000000101c0ee957139541ad18cb3367a4dd0606bbc8c5bd1585ce64e813c5c21359e3f6e0000000017160014ef3247d77adecb1f22692e899931e75e1a5cbb26ffffffff01d65f6c210000000017a914d7cfe4484ffb71b224a0a8eda75bbe7f9494369e8702483045022100a13fb354cde016b28e96d7cecb9b3fce216739f92e72c832a8ba3acde6bc9eb002201ebc94729b3753291de875860e8404c0833cf6ed96060bae8a1080956770a1ec0141044b8d17d6f5fae04c9213da069f4e9fdd25df5f567f867a6a957a850c45a602b788c4a699afacbca54cfc5ba0cd659f20575f2fb20eee6ed73cf8bb7dd95e3fd200000000

Can a negative value be used to pay a TX fee of another TX?  (probably not, but just a suggestion)

Did you try recreating the wallet on another platform as I suggested?

I've had some posts deleted recently with ref links in them and then other posts (with ref links in them) go through...  Each admin/mod has their own opinion and agenda on what you can and cannot do.

As @Cryptoababe suggests, have a read of the *cough* unofficial guidelines then check out similar posts in the section you want to post in and see what is Carte Blanche.

I quickly looked into it, but gave up when I saw a bunch of Telegram screenshots. It's impossible to find out what's real, or even if they are who they say they are. Before I support a Flag I'd like to see clear, concise and convincing evidence.

3335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: October 23, 2020, 01:02:40 PM
This reverse betting is not the best way to vote. It doesn't give the accurate choice to win in your heart. You do reverse betting hoping that things turn to your favour because inside of your heart, you hope for someone else, why not throw your dice on the person you want really and allow fate to happen to your good  Grin

The odds for one candidate over the other are one indication of who might win an election, but the amount of money actually wagered is a better indication.  If one or two put hefty lump sums on a candidate they still only count as one or two "votes" but hundreds or even thousands of wagers give a truer indication of who is likely to win.

There's nothing complex needed to be learned here just place your bet to red black, odd or even or you can do some kind of betting strategy not quite sure but you can check the net and the ball would to the rest it's kind of entertaining and exciting in my opinion.

Its nice to see bitcoin prices going up quickly due to some good news all around but i don't think those who bet on the bitcoin prices on freebitco will be happy. There are very few people who bet on bitcoin prices to be above 13K. The odds of 9.36 is also nice provided bitcoin stays above the 13K level.

I called it as sub $ 14k at the start of September in my interview (which you can read in full by following the link):

  • How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?

    Probably sub $ 14k US

I'm still leaning towards it nudging over $ 14,000 in about two to three weeks time and then settling down to below $ 14k, probably around the $13,250 mark.  Thereabouts.

Are you trying to say that I left you negative, called you scammer and included you to my trust network? You are not making much sense, I can't even vote for DT1, spew your signature somewhere else and stop harassing me.

Yes.

Your self moderated thread (which you have admitted deleting my posts that I defend myself) that you use as a platform to attack me, is a form of intimidation with it's "vote" to seek justification to (again) give me trust feedback distrust.
