3321  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bustadice Signature campaign on Btt ending on May 16th : Wow.... on: April 29, 2021, 04:36:50 PM
No campaign is going to last long forever, yes its a big surprise but an amazing journey which is very long, @devan clearly mentioned that this is only the end of the signature campaign not the site when lot of people speculated that bustadice is going to stop like what happened with yolodice.

The reasons also can be many, Bustadice become one of the biggest wagered dice crypto site so it doesn't need any promotions further and also got the reputation in bitcointalk so its like extra spend from their profits, who knows maybe after few years there will be a campaign for bustadice and bustabit from yahoo. How do I move assets between my Wallet and my Coinbase.com account?

Its an on-chain process which works same as any other transaction so you need to pay the miner fee.

Electrum can be used to store bitcoin but make sure you verify the signature is legit before moving funds from your coinbase.com account if you are not happy with coinbase or you can use multicrypto wallet like trust or coinomi which supports multiple coins and will let you to control your keys.

The mining difficulty that will be adjusted will really help, but I noticed the mempool has being getting less congested, it even gotten to the extent the fee of 17 sat/vbyte were getting confirmed recently, and some blocks are mined even less than 2 to 3 minutes in such time (I noticed this yesterday and today).

It's just luck between some blocks, the pace for the last 24 hours is close to what is supposed to be
Quote
148 blocks in the last 24hours
Avg. time between blocks: 9 mins 44 secs
you can have 4 blocks in 10 mins and then half an hour without one, just as I speak 24 mins  Grin

And now blocks were mined for one hour as of now! Sad

Thanks OP for letting us know about the possible price drop but yesterday I was lucky because when the fee went down to 20 sat/byte I made some of the transactions which I put on hold for more than 2 weeks due to the insane fees. Smiley

Everything is in Blockchain. But they have different wallets.
Private key and exchange ones. But my BTC, Eth and usdt they are all in Blockchain
BTC and usdt in my private key wallets. Eth in the exchange wallet

thank you so much for the help! I was FINALLY able to swap my usdt to btc......

the problem was that I was keeping my eth in the exchange wallet instead of the private one.., so after moving everything around, the problem solved.

By the way....walking away from blockchain since there is no point of keeping a custodial wallet with zero customer service....
You kept ETH in the wrong place which clearly shows how much ignorant you are about in the crypto space which isn't a bad thing but learn the basic things before having your cryptos, luckily you didn't lose your cryptos on any scam exchanges and fake wallets. Keeping your funds in the non custodial wallets is always recommended for higher security of your funds.

Tesla takes profit from crypto investment and some stupid people aren't even bothered, like I always say even billionaires who invest in crypto are here for the profits no matter how long they chill and hype the coins, be smart people
Yes everyone is investing their money to make profits no matter who is that person so why someone should think that they are helping them too, it happens sometimes if you follow their strategies but build your own strategies to make your money instead of following others.
3326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Miners fee on: April 28, 2021, 03:56:17 PM
Alright, I sort of made it work!

I was sitting on mempool, and just saw the sat/vB getting lower. So I went on the Coinbase and BRD wallets, but was still no change. So what I did was download Bluewallet on the phone, import the wallets there and then the Low/med/high fee was corresponding with the ones on mempool. I didn't even have to touch the custom fee option as I got my transactions made for around 20-25 sat/vB each.. For less then 1 hour.

But just weird that the other wallets didn't really keep up on the fees :S

Oh well, anyways, thanks for everybody for their replies, tips, info and links about stuff to read!
If you want to make the cheapest fast transaction then custom fee is going to help you because as previoustly mentioned above, most wallet give miscalculated fee which is not corresponding to the the mempool so you can analyze the mempool on your won then set fees for the faster and cheaper transaction.

Few hours back I made some of the transactions at 21sat/byte which included in the next block itself but after that again the fee hiked up. I was lucky though to see the mempool at the right time. Cheesy

That's what exactly happened to me, I got 2 transactions done between 20-25 sat/byte and the last one I'm a bit stuck with as the fee hiked up at that time, but seeing as I'm not in a hurry it can take it's time Smiley

It's sweet to learn new web pages and info about this every single day!
You and we got lucky but today we can see significant decrease in the mempool congestion so now you got the advantage to make cheap transactions if you are doing it from your wallets, that is why it is important to keep the access of our funds in our hands now in exchanges.
3327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: not enough funds to swap USDT on: April 28, 2021, 11:49:31 AM
Hello,

I have a blockchain wallet.
I swapped around 350  USD worth from BTC to USDT a couple of weeks ago.
Now I want to swap the balance back to BTC.
As far as I know, I need ETH to swap USDT.

I have 8 Usd worth of ETH in a trading account and about 20 USD worth of BTC in my private wallet.
Still, every time I want to swap from USDT to BTC I get an error saying that I don't have enough ETH.
Ok, so I tried to swap my 20 USD in BTC to eth, and I get an error saying I don't have enough BTC balance to swap to ETH.

So I'm stuck....and I really need my 350 usdt!

Any idea of what might be the problem?

Thanks

You are not stuck, all you need is to have enough fee to cover the transaction fee of the swap which can be from 20 to 5o.dollars depends network clog, I will say just deposit some ETH from anywhere to your Blockchain wallet then intiate the swapping process.
3328  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing only for the rich? Think again on: April 28, 2021, 10:00:00 AM
Investing doesn't mean only investing in the stocks and bonds, anything we do for the long term gains that is how the first generation investors are born if they don't have any money to invest big in the single phase. For example posting a video into the youtube is a long term investment because you are going to keep making money from that video forever as long as people are seeing it but think again, you need content which can be available for free.
3329  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla still an unprofitable automaker on: April 27, 2021, 09:05:45 PM
Tesla itself became one of the biggest automobile company in terms of value with their stock value increased not from selling their cars that is why we can find Tesla cars are cheaper when we compare the features they are offering for that price. Its true that they made huge profits from bitcoin but they are not going to connect their bitcoin investments to their company but they do accepts BTC as payment to buy a Tesla now.

3331  Economy / Economics / Re: Bangladesh Bank will not leave any digital currency in the market on: April 27, 2021, 03:18:11 PM
Bangladesh is a over populated country, here it is needed to create the job demands for its people. But as a developing country, corruption is the main problem here which is one of the main problem for using Cryptocurrency.
I'm living on a corrupt country as well and fortunately, we are able to use cryptocurrency freely and I think this is not just a corruption maybe private institutions are preventing the government from accepting cryptocurrency because they know this is a big threat for their businesses.

Only if Bangladesh know the role of cryptocurrency in the lives of many and see this one as a whole not just because they thought its a crime which is totally not unless they are dealing with malicious transactions, their economy might have a chance to rise.
Basically Bangladesh is an Islamic country so there are many misinformation spread all over the world that Bitcoin is created for gambling at all other illicit purposes so its against their Sharia law that is the reason why they banned it in the first place. But it is completely allowed in  some of the Arab nations which is surprising so who need to convince who about who is right? Grin
3332  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Ok so, since I am a US citizen, how do I get other coins without my info? on: April 27, 2021, 04:40:56 AM
I use coinbase which works good for me, but now I am interested in other coins that they dont offer.  Since I am a US citizen and from NY, a lot of places dont accept USD coming from here, but they will from a abroad.  I tried a debit card visa with no luck.  Furthermore I found a place that will do exchanges for the coins I want, but you get a lot less coins this way for your money.  So I guess my question is, how are you guys doing it?  I'm hitting a wall here.  Thanks.
If you got bitcoin then you can almost buy any coin you wanted using the exchanges which doesn't ask KYC or decentralized exchanges, You can use your bank account or any cards to purchase outside of US exchanges if I am not wrong so the best practice is buy BTC then buy everything using BTC.

Final result is:
Code:
{"message":"Not Found"}

It seems the same things happened with other menu items, although few items do not work even when deleted duplicated page/.
I can confirm it from my end as well!

Nice tool though and those words are interesting to read for me and I checked few random TXs from mempool with low and high fee used.

Is it possible to add any kind of notification tool when fee reaches certain range? It will be helpful to consolidate smaller inputs from time to time because that feature is not available fee tracking sites. Lips sealed
3334  Economy / Economics / Re: Bangladesh Bank will not leave any digital currency in the market on: April 25, 2021, 04:34:42 PM
Although cryptocurrency is banned in Bangladesh, it is becoming popular among the young people day by day. Now many people in Bangladesh are using cryptocurrency. However, since the use of cryptocurrency is a crime here, sometimes the police arrest someone.
Bangladesh is a populous country.  There are a lot of educated unemployed people here.  Cryptocurrency can create some workplace here. But because of the crypto ban, that opportunity is not being created.
How long will the Bangladesh government lag behind where the world is moving forward? I hope crypto will be legalized in Bangladesh soon.

In India, when the government came up with their own stupid plan to make the ownership of cryptocurrency a criminal offense, it ended up making crypto even more popular. Because there was a lot of debate generated after the bill was uploaded to the parliament website, a lot of people who were previously unaware of cryptocurrency became suddenly interested in it. I guess the same will happen in Bangladesh as well. The government ban will end up popularizing BTC.
Ban in Bangladesh was there even before the incident happened in India if I am not wrong so yes the people already aware of the cryptocurrencies and the profit making opportunities but due to the ban from government they need to do every trading under the radar s they won't pay any taxes for it and also traders can set premium prices due to the ban in place.

I just confused, which kind of situation the user must prove the document?
At any situation for no reasons, so your privacy is at stake but we can't blame the gambling sites because they are doing it as per the regulations regarding their license. From the user point of view it can't be taken as easy like posting everything on social media because people who uses cryptos are mostly having different personalities that is why they chosen cryptos in the first place.
I guess they are now leading to legitimation which is required to their license to have KYC verification.

For me, this is not a big deal, I can submit my documents because everything is fine and nothing to hide. But for now, I don't feel using gambling sites that required KYC/AML but then, we should still respect them for what their decision had.

Let's wait for the outcome of this, if this will not affect their users, there are various gambling sites out there to be used.
It may affect them in long term especially because we have huge competition now in the online crypto market compared to 2019 and before so definitely people will choose the play on a completely anonymous sites than the site which requires your personal details. And what if they ask you to more sensitive information for high wagering players? They will be never comfortable in such situations.

Most likely flogging a dead horse on this topic, but the advise of the experts here will truly be appreciated. I send bitcoin from my LUNO wallet to the Kraken exchange (my own asset account on Kraken)  but used an expired deposit address that I used before. Possible to advise how to go about to "recover" these funds...?
In reality a bitcoin address will never expires which means the exchanges got your funds but they won't let you to access is just because they mentioned it in their terms. So only choice is to contact support team and they may consider it to recover for you but less likely to happen.

sorry this is for altcoin however it is also legal. I could not find legal subsection for altcoin. I am ok to move to other more appropriate topic.
I am having major difficulty with restoring account with binance and few other tokens. I am in need of legal assistance as those entities has no physical address in the USA and evasive with their contact ifnormation. Any has any expert law attorney office handling the crypto legal matters? Class action?

Thanks.,

Before telling you need the legal advice, please tell us what is the issue you are trying to solve with Binance in USA. Because they also have certain terms and conditions so if you violated them then they have all the rights to do what they want with your funds.

Just because the people I have been on the bounty program complain about getting more staking. I do not believe that forum moderators have reviewed my posts at all.

Most of you guys who comment under this title are not sincere. You're commenting just for comment.

Since you are a part of this list, you can find who reported your posts and he is currently at chipmixer campaign so reducing your stake has no benefits for him.

If you are waiting for the theymos reply about this issue then it may take a while.

3340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has the world become greedier since BTC? on: April 24, 2021, 01:14:39 PM
Since BTC and crypto everyone wants to get rich and earn a lot of $. Everywhere you look it's the same story, be it BTC or any other shitcoin. It's obvious not everyone will make it.

Yeah, getting rich is nice and I also hope it will happen for myself but I feel the society is becoming way too materialistic. Also the greediness level seems very high, everyone want to get more and more.

What's your view on this?
Everyone wants to be rich so they are greedy to make money since when they money system was actually implemented so I don't see any drastic change in the people being greedy after bitcoin and crypto currency. But I can say one thing, people who enters into the crypto currencies are greedier because they are coming here with the thought of become rich overnight.
