why do we get this on version check: cypher@ubuntu:~$ bitcoind getinfo bitcoin is very out of date and has been removed. Please see upstream sources at https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/ or the PPA at https://launchpad.net/~bitcoin/+archive/bitcoin cypher@ubuntu:~$ bitcoin moved to the ppa you have to install then you can use apt-get PPA and 0.9.3 already installed and running. Why don't "bitcoind getinfo" return version info like normal? thats odd have you tried bitcoin-cli getinfo

seems that the floor is $ 300 just bought 2 more btc and will hold It's already at $330 so looks like you are already in profit but i'm still hoping that it might go down a lil bit again. If it hits 240 in upcoming days then i'm definitely buying. Still afraid to buy at this point. Just spread your buys to get an average

Man that shit is old. Maybe sata to sd is a better option.

Those have firmware too
Floppy firmware The problem is paucity of computers that still have the floppy drive interfaces. Physical drives and disks are quite easy to get on the secondary market. Obviously, using an USB-attached floppy drive will put you back in square one. Oh internal floppy, do you even have a floppy header?
|
|
|
With the news on USB firmware hacks I was wondering if I should add a 3.5" floppy to my online computer to transfer from my cold storage old XP computer that already has a floppy. Would it be safer?

Have you tried again? The server could just be down. I just tested it and it works.

How's it compare to keybase?

Stupid (maybe not) question.
I want to update Armory, should I update Bitcoin Core as well?
You don't have to but latest core is more critical than latest armory so latest Bitcoin Core is compatible with ARmory 0.92.1? Yeah the bitcoin rpc i dont think ever had deprecation
|
|
|
when will 0.92.2 be out of testing?
I ask this question again Hope I and cypherdoc get an answer I don't think there's bugs so it doesn't really matter. Armory just likes to call everything testing.

I am new to mining and was considering investing in an SP20 (1.7TH/S). Does this sound like a reasonable undertaking to pursue or am I to late to the game? Any advice or information on getting started (if recommended) would also be appreciated.
Don't ever mine, just buy!

I've followed this guide a few time to succesfully offline sign transactions and then broadcast them from another computer.
However, now that I try I get an "Invalid Signature" error when attempting to broadcast from blockchain.info/pushtx . I've also tried broadcasting the same TX from Electrum and get error code 25.
I tried twice with no luck.
Any ideas?
try doing with brainwallet offline I did as in OP's guide which is using Brainwallet.org offline to sign a transaction. Try http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/pushtxn.phpTrying to send... array(3) { ["result"]=> NULL ["error"]=> array(2) { ["code"]=> int(-22) ["message"]=> string(11) "TX rejected" } ["id"]=> string(1) "1" } Response = 0 Then your inputs must be wrong. Blockchain has been having issues. If it's a small amount you can get away with doing it online.
