I am starting to wonder if White House Market is influencing Monroes price somewhat. I mean something has to be driving this. It's been sustained for a little too long now.
I believe Maximalists (a larger percentage) are finally getting it through their heads that bitcoin will never be fungible and are taking appropriate steps.

About mindrust, on a serious note, I just can't understand why he did what he did. I would expect such panic selling from a newbie, someone who doesn't know much about Bitcoin, like my mum & dad maybe. But the picture I had of mindrust, was of a seasoned, experienced player. And sell 10 BTC @ under $4000 a piece to get what? $40k? Does that justify losing the chance of a lifetime?

He was (is?) a true Masterluc disciple, that should explain it all.

I seriously cannot tell the difference anymore.

Hmm that seems kind of dystopic. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) My first thought was they are trying to establish their own solution for custody. After watching Goldmann Ballsacks buy and rape Polo call me jaded. That looked like a dry run to me.

This is interesting. This is likely very positive. I do not *think* they would be doing this if they were not bought into the ecosystem philosophically. In other words if Bitcoin is just a precursor to PalCoin that's one thing... and I do not doubt PalCoin is likely. But it seems they must recognize Bitcoin as having unique intrinsic value. Obviously they are also thinking other "crypto" may as well. But so be it. (I mean who am I, a Monero holder to judge? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ) The only way this could be bad is if they were buying the other businesses to kill them. But that does not make any sense. They are picking the wrong ones, and there are too many for that strategy to work. I think whoever is making the decisions at PP has a pretty good view of what the inevitabilities are. They are wrong about BCash, but aint nobody perfect. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) PayPal has been holding talks with BitGo, a company that helps investors store Bitcoin securely, and could reach a deal within weeks, the people said, asking not to be identified because the matter is private. Talks could still fall apart and PayPal could opt to buy other targets, the people added. So they don't want people to know that they are trying to sell peoples keys? What do they think, those clients will have an issue with PP owning them?

Should be fun to watch this.
Yup, just ribbing yah. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I have zero trust for PP but it does ad legitamasy to BTC with those normies and that's always a good thing. But I do expect they will morph into a fractional reserve as soon as they think they can get away with it.

Google at this point is where Altavista was when Google came on the scene. People used Google because it had a simple page, was quick, and not choked with crap.
All this has happened before, all this will happen again.
AltaVista never had near the money at that time that Google has now. They won't be as easy to buy out, especially not by Yahoo ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I have started to use https://asciimoo.github.io/searx/ some time ago, it's a very nice meta-search engine that can easily run from an old RPi. While it is not perfect, it keeps you from being tracked by the "don't do evil" lunatics. Thanks alot for this! I'm checking it out now. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

People: Yay, that will teach Google to not be such bad meanies. Also people: Why did the government drop the anti trust lawsuit on Google so quickly? Also people: Why does my computer suddenly slow down a lot when I go onto any web page with Google ads? Also people: I never noticed that light next to my camera before.
Google has been seriously pissing me off the last few years feeding me garbage and making it nigh impossible to find what I'm actually searching for. We will not stand for this aggression!

Any word when feather will integrate with Trezor/Ledger?
Does Feather support Ledger/Trezor?
No, and we have no plans to support hardware wallets in the future. An implementation would complicate the codebase significantly, and as a small team we doubt maintaining it.
If you have a Ledger or Trezor device and would like to use it, grab the official Monero GUI or CLI.

Or they did.
Hopefully but if they did they should not have had a problem weathering even a few years.

The Room 77 in Berlin just closed it's doors. Pretty sad day for the BTC community. I have been there twice and spend my first BTC there. Lovely memories..
My guess is they didn't hold.

What the fuck is this bullshit FUD??? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monero_(cryptocurrency) Due to its privacy features, Monero experienced rapid growth in market capitalization and transaction volume during 2016, faster and bigger than any other cryptocurrency that year. This growth was driven by its uptake in the darknet market, where people used it to buy stolen credit cards, guns, and drugs.[3] Two major darknet markets were shut down in July 2017 by law enforcement.[6] From the beginning, Monero has been used by people holding other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin to break the link between transactions, with the other cryptocoins first converted to Monero, then after some delay converted back and sent to an address unrelated to those used before. After many online payment platforms shut down access for white nationalists following the Unite the Right rally in 2017, some of them, including Christopher Cantwell and Andrew Auernheimer ("weev"), started using and promoting Monero.[8][9]
The operators behind the May 2017 global ransomware incident WannaCry converted their proceeds into Monero.[2] In June, The Shadow Brokers, the group that leaked the code used in WannaCry, started accepting payments in Monero.[2] Looks like Wiki is being used to rewrite history with a pretty obvious spin.
