You know it's bad when investors start inventing excuses for the CEO's behaviour.

So true!!!!
3322  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: March 31, 2014, 12:03:13 PM
OK, just had a call from the complaints manager.

He said he does not know when there will be an official statement, that depends on Danny who is on a business trip to the UK right now.

That is all I have for you.

OH, and the person who called me back is English speaking so feel free to call them.

Business trip to the UK. Pretty weird ay? Danny never took a business trip to UK before, right?

No point for him to do that unless... he's a British citizen with friends, family and ties to UK, not to mention London is world big financial center where Neo has many business ties and LMB is also incorporated in the UK.

Bro I am only giving you what I have on the subject.
I did not invest in Neo-Bee nor am I planning to.

I am only doing this for the community.
Like I said, if anyone has anymore questions, the person I spoke to is English speaking.
Just give them a call.

I have called them and asked just two questions:

1) Is Danny still in Cyprus?
2) When will there be an official statement?

Their response:

Give us your details and someone will get back to you.

I gave them my number and waiting for a call back.

3325  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: March 31, 2014, 09:54:07 AM
You know, there are more important things to starting a revolutionary business than placating some very worried immature investors in an online forum.

I don't believe bombarding them with questions is the way to go about achieving anything really. What will it do? Shut people up for about a week until they start moaning about the next 'missed deadline' or 'bad news'. And it won't stop MP's shills for a second.

If you invest in any other startup, unless you've contributed more than 5% of their bank balance, they're not going to answer you about every little thing they're doing. Look at kickstarter - how often do you get updates from those companies? Look at how often Friedcat replies to the ASICMiner group.

People on this forum need to get real. This is a business with millions of euros behind it. We've contributed what? A few hundred to a few thousand each at most. Stop bitching. If you'd stuck in more than you could afford to lose, you were a greedy fool. That's the nature of investing in high risk-high reward startups.

Don't expect mummy to hold your hand to get you through the bad times.

You know, ironically what you just wrote sounds Greek to me!!!!!

I did not invest in Neo-Bee, but if I did and they froze all transactions without valid reason then yes, I will bombard them with questions as to WHY?

Isn't this weak? Surely a miner could easily 51% attack these local coins.

I think building on top of Bitcoin is the better way, the 51% problem is no longer yours and you also increase the value of Bitcoin itself.

I don't think they will let anyone else mine.
They said they will be giving out the coins in paper wallets.

Don't know how that will work out for them though....

Also, shouldn't I ask and confirm that Danny is gone first?

+1 Smiley, Also ask if the girl there speaks English (knowing Cyprus I am sure she does) so that everyone here can call and validate what you respond (in case they want to Smiley ).

BR
SK
p.s. Also is anyone gonna be at Montreal in April? Smiley

I am most positive that they do speak English, or at least one person there will Wink

So, to the rest of the group, if you call and they greet you in Greek don't hang up,  Just say "Kalimera" and ask politely "to place a question in English" end they will answer you Smiley.

^^ What my main man Stelio said.
Also, if you want to save money on international calls my offer still stands.
Just make a list of questions and I would be happy to call them for you Smiley

I live in Cyprus, and I have contacted them when they launched to ask how I can get a Neo Card.
They said their services are not available yet and they were just gathering interest.

Btw if anyone wants to ask them something just let me know, I will call them and ask them for you (in Greek).

We'd like to know when they intend to release a statement on the situation and who will take the place of Danny since it seems like he's gone for good. Thanks.

Your questions noted.

I will make a list of question from all members that want to ask something and call them.

Also, shouldn't I ask and confirm that Danny is gone first?

Bitcoin is becoming obsolete.
Fiat 40% for safety. Nxt 30% 30% Mastercoin.

What exactly can you buy with NXT or Mastercoin?

Bitcoin?

Exactly!  Wink

3336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rather than trying to re-teach people how money works... on: March 31, 2014, 07:11:32 AM
I can't for the life of me understand how educating someone about bitcoin could ever be a bad thing.  I guess I'll have to reread this thread over because I"m not getting it at all.

I am arguing that people have historically rejected managing much simpler items of value. We will not be able to stand against their will. We must adapt and focus efforts on abstracting Bitcoin away from them as much as possible.

That's when the Banks will take advantage of the situation, I think....
3337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Bitcoin..... Really??? on: March 31, 2014, 07:07:51 AM
Wow, if price hits the range of $435 and a bit lower, a shit load of coins will change hands according to Bitsamp's order book.
3338  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitCoin Price Drop on: March 31, 2014, 06:09:10 AM
I've seen so many graphs stating the price of bitcoins will soon be over $10k each that I'm not worried about the current price correction.  Just keep buying, holding, and don't spend any bitcoins.  The graphs can't be wrong.

Wanna share some of those graphs?

If you wanted to try and trace things yourself, blockchain.info is a good start.  Here's that first transaction:
https://blockchain.info/tx/f4184fc596403b9d638783cf57adfe4c75c605f6356fbc91338530e9831e9e16

On the left, click on 'View Tree Chart':
https://blockchain.info/tree/15029

Note that this only goes one way, and doesn't identify what the transactions were for / who they came from/were to.
E.g. the recipient of that first 10BTC: https://blockchain.info/address/1Q2TWHE3GMdB6BZKafqwxXtWAWgFt5Jvm3
It doesn't say 'Hal Finney' anywhere.

Figuring all that out is where most of the work would be (delving through articles, forum posts, etc.).  Nice work, Taras!

WHAT?Huh

NO FEES?Huh

That's not good  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Don't miss, to sell.

You want to buy isn''t?  :-) good for you. But do not suggest people to sell. Let they choose on their own what to do with their coins.

+1

I too like to buy cheap coins but I usually advise people to HODL!
