I would be careful about putting any major money into XC until the anonymous wallet is released so that we know its not a pump and dump scheme.
Honestly right now there is no way to know either way, the developer looks and seems like a genuine and smart guy but scam artists are also good at appearing confident and charismatic.
As much as I want XC to succeed I am quite happy to lose money if it turns out to be fake as I hope its true. Though at current prices a huge risk, I bought like 50k for 1 BTC so I dont really mind but I might just dump my coins until wallet is released.
If this was a pump and dump... he could have done it yesterday at 15k, he could have done it a few hours ago at 25-28k... If the wallet is out and legitimately works well, you won't have a chance to catch the rocket ship upward.... yes! dev is a respectable guys. |

Yes I see it, but nevertheless I don't think it is good for the long term run. For example some investors avoid nxt because they have a distribution problem. I don't know if it is possible to have a richlist for anon coin but still the doubt for an unfair distribution is enough to avoid people. In the next month there will be plenty of anon coins and we have to compete with them. people have the choice. They will not pick a scam coin.
I guess I don't see how how whether mining goes on for 1 day or 1,000 days really effects distribution, either way it is the big multipools who will be getting all the coins. If you want the coin then why not buy it, at this point it's just a few cents a coin, hardly expensive.
and after they get the XC, they will dump it soon! |

I agree. Let actsecure hear the voice of the community -- but let him choose whether to listen to it or not. He is the creator of this coin -- it is his vision. Either way, this coin will be huge if they successfully release the anon feature.
dev is a honest guy, we all believe he will release the Anon feature wallet. |

--------------- IMPORTANT --------------- I spoke with the Dev around 30 mins ago regarding the reduction of PoW coins, and he basically said that the decision to do so would be left with the community, so it is up to us whether he goes ahead or not. DEV:I'm open to anything, but can't think about that now, too much anon work to do - if the community agree's to reduce POW them I will do MY VOTE:Reduce PoW Blocks to about 10M coins (Remaining coins still need to 8-15 weeks mining until PoS) After 10 to 33 Just PoS. The Dev is willing to do so if us, as a community, really wants this, but the decision must be taken before the wallet release.I'm in as long as it means that I don't loose any of my coins. agree with this. |

I'm excited for today's progress, each day/night we move closer to the goal and as we do I'd like to get ideas on some of the BlockChain v2.0 stuff.. the nature of blockchain technology leads itself to so many options, ideas and potential distributed applications ideas are endless(encrypted [anonymous] messaging, DAC's, Proof of Ownership, gambling,etc).... Also in other news, the Phase ][ XC -> USD project is starting to take shape somewhat, with meetings being schedule with various 3rd party vendors...
