I wonder how many Dollars were stolen from customers in this heist.
3322  Economy / Lending / Re: New Lending Platform, more lender control. on: February 06, 2013, 05:04:36 PM
Ah, yes. The uncommentable video from yesterday.

It's great you could get Avicii's managements approval for use of his music in your advertisement. That will have cost a dime or two I would imagine.

Also while Tchaikovskys Flower Walk is not copyrighted anymore, specific recordings most certainly are. It's cool you have researched the legal status of the specific recording and are thus using the appropriate public domain recording.

 Or did you?
3323  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Scam] student from Romania is claiming to have ASIC units for sale at 85 GH/s on: February 06, 2013, 04:55:48 PM
The question then becomes who uploaded that and what was his ulterior motive. One might think for instance of a situation where someone would upload content like that explicitly for the purpose of then accusing the hoster of hosting such content.

For the record, the only thing I ever saw on that chan were escorts advertising their services.
3324  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASIC from POLAND on: February 06, 2013, 03:58:53 PM
So, let me get this straight. Your first post was on January 16. You posted a picture with a supposedly working ASIC on February 4.

You are telling me now, that you went from nothing to silicon in barely 3 weeks? What?

Yes, why not?

In this convenient list of semiconductor fabrication facilities -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_semiconductor_fabrication_plants
you can clearly see how the fabs located in Poland are far ahead of any others in both vapor technology and capacity.

New design is much, much better.

Some suggestions still:

Pull out the About box and "Stats" boxes, so they fill more of the user panel to the right. Ideally you want to have as much whitespace at the right side of the box as on the left side

Reverse the descriptor:value order in the stats boxes. Putting the descriptor on top makes it easier for the brain to digest the information.

Something needs to be done about the funds display to the left. I would suggest getting rid of the darker framing entirely, making the currency denominator more black and centering both items horizontally.

Either make the left and right panels the same size height wise, or considerably shorten the left panel to the end of content. Currently the panels end at somewhat about the same height but not quite, which just looks messy.

The design is all over the place. Nothing fits together from a size and spaceing aspect. Whitespace is everywhere while actual content is crammed together. There's no "line" in the design, you've got angled corners, straight corners, slightly less angled corners. You've got gradients going wild everwhere each looking different, each leading viewer attention away from the important bits.
Thanks greyhawk, 1HNLqLrPEwMk8woA91qwX9sRkatRfQik2T is your address right?

Yup.

That address has never held a single Satoshi, nor has the blockchain ever seen it.

not down, but they are having trouble connecting to the back end db since about an hour. Any search requests time out.
3333  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: REALLY BITCOIN?!?!? on: February 06, 2013, 02:48:47 AM
Something's very wrong. There is neither a "help area" here nor have I ever heard of anyone being banned here that wasn't a spambot, vandal or atlas.

Did he get the wrong forum?
3334  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is the magnificent bitcoin gem on: February 05, 2013, 10:40:27 PM
This could have went down in history. Now its just ....ehh.

No need to fret...

...soon, a commerce site will emerge, based on maxmint's game.

Stay tuned!

Will it be a Bitcoin diamond?

Bumping will take less than a day, actually, but we are allocating two days just in case.  Set up and tooling is what takes the most time, which is what we are trying to shave down.

See? I told you you need to write better. A COO should be more precise in his statements, especially when clad in his employee persona instead of the Super-Insult-Man costume.

edit:  even as old as I am, I still have not learned to just shut up and listen Wink

And you never will. I certainly didn't.  Grin

I'd recommend deleting this. These methods don't go over very well with this crowd.

when did Josh say that they were trying to shave off 7 days?  back in early Dec?

Earlier today

Also, since it is down to 2 days now, He was successfully in reducing the time Smiley

That's not how linear time works.
