3321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice - Daily Story on: February 09, 2021, 05:01:23 PM
This is a good example why I don't play martingale anymore. Risking so much money to win just $3 at the end.

Nowadays I just go for the bigger multipliers 9900x or even bigger which could give you much better results. A martingale system like OP will work for some time if you have enough funds but if you don't stop on time, the red streak will always find you.
I've understood the risk, and that's the reason why I stopped once I made the initial bet value. I risked, and beyond that value I don't have funds to continue the martingale. If the $98 has failed then my wallet would've got emptied. Because with the left amount of around $50 I'll go for a roll above 90 with the option max bet.

its good to know that you finally got the win after a losing streak and won at the end of the day. you're one of the lucky guys who by the end of the day can celebrate. most of us win big at first and at the end lost everything.

but I'm sure once in our gambling spree we experienced the same thing. you could end up losing if you still lose when you bet $98 so why did you not start with $1. without big funds, i will start with $0.10 using USDT.  Grin

3322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Apple is buying Bitcoin on: February 09, 2021, 04:52:35 PM

the article didn't have anything on it saying apple will buy BTC. we could speculate they will but until there is no word from jeff bezos, there ain't no good writing article for it. apple would be good if they are on the crypto side though. everybody is joining the crypto side, they should be we already have elon musk. Grin

As others have pointed out, Apple MIGHT be considering buying bitcoin.  This is a misleading title and should be changed.  Did you even read your own article posted?

Apple may very well add bitcoin to their assets, but I think it is more likely that they join the crypto space as PayPal did.  Apple Pay is obviously a massive platform where if they added buying and selling bitcoin, it could open up a whole new world of income opportunity and I believe they are more likely to do this before actually buying a bunch of coins...but of course this is all speculation right now.

Applepay could be a good platform like Paypal. user base they are not really big but if they could allow BTC, they may earn users especially if they allow withdrawing BTC.
3323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do casino awards matter? on: February 09, 2021, 09:49:47 AM
Who will give the awards on crypto gambling? Maybe some company on Curacao or other part of the world?
I never heard organization to give awards to crypto gambling site and even the reputable gambling site I'm playing with they are not sharing any award for years now, so this is very rare. Actually, if the gambling site received a legit awards then I believe it can attract many gamblers and the trust will be good on that gambling site.

we don't have that kind of organization yet that will give awards to which is doing an astounding job. but yes maybe curacao will do that one day. it may not matter for some but i guess it's for marketing only and building a reputation of the casino. if curacao do it to the casinos under caracao license, it will just be for them fooling each other and then hoping they could fool others.
3324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the Ethereum Gas Fee go down? on: February 08, 2021, 04:19:23 PM
Probably when the bull run is finally over? If Ethereum keeps growing higher the gas fee will keep increasing, I don't know what buterin plans to implement the EIP1559 that have been discussed many times already or maybe they have abandoned the idea too? Only whales will benefit here

that might just be what they are waiting for before they will allow that EIP1559. the high fee is preventing small gainers from dumping the tokens they hold because the amount to pay is half the amount they want to liquidate. its pathetically funny but its what they have to endure. i bought worth $50 ETH just so i can have something to pay for the transaction going to exchange but it was never enough.

3326  Economy / Gambling / Re: Luckyfish banning unnecessarily for whatever reason. on: February 07, 2021, 06:43:13 AM
you can always just go somewhere else, luckyfish isn't the only casino around.  you don't have to throw threats to them about being posted here all because you are banned.

To answer initial queries, this is my backup account made some time ago. Mavrick951 is my original bitcointalk.org account which I lost email and password too. You can query that account and see I have been on here since 2011 time frame when I was mining and trading sha256 hardware.
Second, I made this post to share an experience, I had deposited on LF a time or two, will never ever do it again.
Sorry if there has been any confusion as to my intentions with this post.

lucky for you if you don't have funds there for you will have a hard time fighting for it if you have. most if not all casino will normally just ban you if you are not going to contribute good in their chatbox. i can see they have few accusations here already, somehow people will be on your side.
3327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: February 07, 2021, 06:32:48 AM
In 2017 when bullrun took over crypto space and many altcoins joined later some people still keep holding thinking that their altcoins will keep surging and surging, little did they know that bull season always have short life span when comparing to bear season, bear season can stay for years but bull season is just in months, so why are you holding when you should be selling?

Remember that some bought bitcoin at 20k and they have no choice but to hold till today, imagine all this year's waiting just to get back to where you once are. Bitcoin is over 18k now, good for them cos they are near recovery since 2017.

Know when to get in and know when to get out, don't be a greedy bastard.

You are right. I was also caught by the bear. I bought the pumps of bitcoin and was just forced to hold bitcoin until 2020 when I finally sold of after making little gains. I am trading with caution

i'm one of the user who kept the tokens i have like the WAVES that i thought would really keep surging because i have the feeling its the future but things aren't what it seem.  it still got a good price compare to ICO price but not what i expect. luckily i stake it for good.

when you learn that bull market is very temporary in crypto, you should watch closely the news whether which one is going to affect the bull market that could turn it over night into bear.

3328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: February 07, 2021, 04:57:35 AM
It is not the way to make money, in gambling you have better odds to make money rather than hunting pennies on the bounty section of the forum. The suffer will not stop until the bounty managers will stop agreeing with teams regarding the late bounty distribution. The insurance option sounds crazy but it is not impossible though.

The topic of escrow for bounty campaigns has been discussed for years. Unfortunately, this is unlikely to happen. The only way to reduce the risk of losing time is to thoroughly check the project and, above all, the people behind it. If the dev team are not random people, but experienced professionals, there is a big hint that the project will be successful and the distribution of rewards will be fair.

yep there were bounty managers who also ask to escrow the tokens but it still not enough since the team can easily create another ERC20 token. a nonvaluable token will always be worthless until it will be listed to a market. Its always going to be risky for bounty hunters and nothing can be changed.

there was a suggestion that the team should just deposit some BTC instead. but i doubt a team will do that.
3329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is XRP displacing Polkadot? on: February 06, 2021, 06:14:31 PM

it should have been the other way around. XRP had been displaced several times though so it doesn't have a real position in the marketcap since the time ETH outranked it. Polkadot is another project that managed to be on the top 5. polkadot will really be a good contender to compete for the tokens on top of CMC. these are the kind of project that will likely beat ETH and put XRP below.
3330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are more friendly with Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2021, 06:09:41 PM
Polkadot is Bitcoin-friendly since they are about to create a trustless bridge between BTC and polkadot, its called PolkaBTC/ if you have been following polkadot since its release, there had been much development for the future and Interlay just made it possible. more similar to RenVM where we can lockup BTC to mint RenBTC. and so we can consider Ren to be bitcoin friendly as well.
3331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain adoption on: February 06, 2021, 09:48:51 AM

there is a feeless platform like the EOS. a user would just need a tiny fraction of EOS to stake for CPU and RAM and then he'd have a feeless transaction already. i didn't see any complains in the defibox community they probably enjoy the feeless. With ETH however its the worse that could happen when you just want to liquidate $100 with of tokens in Uniswap but the fee is half the amount.
3332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice games on: February 06, 2021, 09:12:29 AM
snipped
There are success stories out of Dice. This is very hard to find. During the first anniversary celebration or something like that, Stake shared different stories. One among that is the success story. I don't remember his name, he has made fortune out of dice. In my learning, we can have fun with limitations. When we find it isn't good for you, or you going out of control staying away is the right thing.
And yet, some people got into gambling hoping for one day they got so lucky and win the jackpot. But I don't think that there is a thing like that coz gambling is purely a game of luck, not strategy (maybe it gives some help but not really). Some did win, but many had lost. This will something to imply that gambling can't be everyone, unless if you are lucky enough and destined to be a gambler.

Doubling our bet after losing the first bet thinking to be lucky in the next round? Still, the result is 50/50. This is why most gamblers make losses than winning.

the goal is to get even and earn at least few even after a losing streak. its not s strategy to win the dice like identifying the patterns but it's just beating the house with one win. this is actually an exciting strategy especially using the TRX.

its the cheapest coin so far that you can gamble on any casino so, doubling up to 10 losing streak will not really be a big loss. start with 1TRX, if you lose then 2TRX I was trying to and accumulated BGF tokens on betfury.

3333  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long the Bitcoin Bull run continues on: February 06, 2021, 08:03:09 AM
If this bull run is anything like 2013 & 2017 then you can expect to see a $100,000-$288,000 BTC sometime between April and November of this year. It will be interesting to see where we fall in this range. Either way, we are due for some fireworks in the near future.

that's really a lot of money there. it could really make the small holders of BTC survive the long lockdown. but when is this going to pop?

no matter what, we'd still be seeing this as bubble and it will pop eventually. the question is when.  if the bubble today is very different from what it was back 2013/17 how long will this take before we could see a decline of prices?

this is driven by defi so if it pops, will defi also be doomed?
3334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies & tips from professional players on: February 05, 2021, 04:18:03 PM
In fact, the strategy I adopt while joining gambling, I try as much as possible to wager with small amounts because I become aware that whenever I try to implement a certain strategy I lose my bets. And the strategy varies from game to game, I always focus on sports because they are my favorite! So you can always choose the right matches to bet and win. Also, the luck factor remains responsible for making some profits if beside you, and vice versa.

And I don't like applying other people's strategies because it causes me some trouble!!
If you see your strategy isn't effective, It would be better to stop using it or try another strategy that is compatible with you and the game you are playing. Luck is always a factor on every type of gambling activities you do, Strategies are the one that makes the winning chance higher and put you on a better odds.

Every one of us has our own way of playing gambling, strategies, and techniques will not always applicable to everyone.

i would recommend just go with sports instead. its just simple gambling, there is no need to be technical to that as long as you know the sports and the athlete. if you are betting on boxing then I'm sure you follow those boxer's careers, same goes for basketball sports because you follow the team. you wouldn't need a strategy for this, you're a fan and you always bet for the team you like. dice, roulette and slot is way difficult to implement a strategy. you'd better just praying for the luck on your side.

3335  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long the Bitcoin Bull run continues on: February 05, 2021, 04:02:54 PM

if you really analyze the market thru some indicators, the market today is already overbought. if it just an ordinary days that fomo wasn't activated, the price probably had been dumped hard but institutional investors are coming thanks to Saylor.

If elon musk has plans to make doge up to $1 then i guess that's your cue there. once doge turned $1, you can then dump everything for crash time is about to commence.
3336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Report ETH for SCAM because $80 fees on: February 05, 2021, 03:50:13 PM

polkadot is developed because of this kind of problem. we thought the ETH2 will actually solve the case of high transaction fees but its making things worse. polkadot isn't very ready though, they didn't have an importer yet compare to cardano which is a more deserving alternative for ETH.

we didn't have this problem back in the days but miners today seem to be picking transactions and $25 for a fee ain't enough.
3337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies & tips from professional players on: February 05, 2021, 03:12:30 PM

the martingale that we keep using to profit from dice isn't really a strategy to win a game but a strategy to earn with just a win despite the losing streak and this is still trying on luck. i have applied martingale to almost all games even if its not really meant for the game like cockfighting which is common in my country if lucky i could go home happy if not then its just another day of loss.  its another story with poker because the game really has to be played by someone who has skills.
3338  Economy / Economics / Re: A user's turns his $130 into $1,30,000 in just 3 days (NFT) on: February 05, 2021, 02:48:24 PM
OP,you are using  $1,30,000 three times. One in the title and two times in the forum post.
Don't you know how to write big numbers? Can't you just write 130K USD? Grin
The whole story seems really suspicious to me.What's the point of buying artwork made by some anonymous guy for 97 ETH?This guy definitely isn't Michelangelo or Leonardo,so I really doubt that this artwork is going to cost a million dollars after several years.Maybe this really is money laundering.

its definitely going to be looked that way even for someone who doesn't know art. normally an art only has a value that much when an artist is dead and its a century-year-old painting. i don't get how they bid all these but for digital art, $130K is too much and i don't know if the person who bought it could really sell to profit out it.

Huge, I never had that kind of talent but for that kind of artwork, how the hell it's work $1.3 million?
Damn, you call it luck or easy money, regardless if it's really a true purchase, that's a huge amount of profit from the seller.

Honestly, I have no idea about NFT but NFT seems to be the headlines now for some crypto media outlet.

NFT Marketplace Rarible Closes $1.75M Seed Raise From 1kx, Coinbase Ventures

Rare Hashmasks Digital Artwork Sells for $650K in Ether

NFT marketplace Rarible raises $1.75 million in seed funding round

rich people buy things because they can. but for a businessman's view, all these art are bulllshit.

3339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather vs Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) on: February 05, 2021, 02:20:06 PM

its still money for floyd.  since they hate each other so much why don't they do it on the street and not try to make money out of it? they started an internet drama and fight through youtube videos. Mayweather is a dick and so is this Curtis who doesn't even have a boxer career. ain't that a cowardness of Floyd who just picks someone who isn't capable of fighting.
3340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 04, 2021, 05:02:56 PM
I doubt it, Mayweather rarely does rematches, and he knew that this time around Pacquiao will not go easy on him anymore. Now, I'm not saying Manny is an inferior fighter compared to Mayweathwr but the thing is, Mannh thrives in knockouts while Mayweather works best in technicalities, so just like what Marquez said, Manny will only win if he would be able to knock Mayweather out, otherwise the fight will go towards Floyd's favor.

I thought the rules in boxing was punches that got through, why do most people think that the only way to win is via knockdown or knockout. If this is how judges scores, then what's the point of the rules to win points. Although on other hand Mayweather could reconsider fighting Pacman because after all his fight with Logan Paul didn't earn match because people weren't interested.

Mayweather will consider when the cut for him is larger. Money will always be the first to talk about for this fighter, if he ain't getting what he wants the deal is off. Pacquiao will just do whatever is told by his team, its not about the money for him but its all for entertainment.

The definition of entertainment for Mayweather however is that him laughing with millions and running inside the ring while Manny's tongue is out.
