3321  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: July 04, 2016, 07:08:44 PM
No, inst a good investment to buy 1 btc today, even knowing that the price should keep growing over the time. I believe into bitcoin but its getting an adventure expensive to be buying them, dont know how the market will readjust their support and insterest if bitcoin keeps growing like this year. If you consider potencial income from bitcoin you should invest but always a risk involved at it.
3322  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: July 04, 2016, 07:06:28 PM
It is more worth to lend a part of his stake here on the lending section. Interests are much higher and if you take good collaterals then you could operate very profitable.

You might lend some of them to the traders in some exchanges. The daily interest is around 0.01%  now.

The only problem with the lending here at bitcointalk are that the most users here use their accounts, the most force the sell of their account for any ammount, how to spot such accounts dumpers? Sure there are some people being able to make a good revenue holding accounts but its a huge risk work with accounts.
3323  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 04, 2016, 07:02:20 PM
This year bitcoin gaved a lesson to those people who like to invest, gambling, exchanging trying to make extra revenue from the investments. If i havent invest nothing this year i would had something like 150% my portolio in value meaning with my 1 btc i would have now 600 dollars against the 400 (1btc) i had before make the investments.
3324  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: July 04, 2016, 06:59:23 PM
I had almost 1 bitcoin three months ago , currently im with 0.10btc and collecting and investing more, a bit at some places i believe will return the investement till end of the year. Im not worried with the halving new price sure its good to have more and more value with the same coins, but as an investor im trying to diversify my portfolio.
3325  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 04, 2016, 06:57:05 PM
I have a friend who eventually made it, one who I admire greatly who is also a member here but that I will not publicly mention.
He's one of the best freelancer graphic designers I know and I hope he will continue being so.

So, yes, for some going all in on BTC is definitely possible.
Well if he has a good skill it can be live and full time in bitcoin but how about for members here without skills.. its impossible that he can make full time in bitcoin live with his family. also unless if this person has no family and he just living with him self..

This kind of lifestyle will be to the owners of casinos and some exchanges small projects arent able to make a live from bitcoin, can get extra income and just that. With skill you will be working at some company instead being searching for small projects and paying lower then real market.
3326  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: July 04, 2016, 06:55:38 PM
Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?
Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?
Buying them right now? i would say 5-7 btc but it is really hard to say
nobody know what is going to happen with btc price next month, and we talk about 20 years here, believe me it is goddamn a lot of time
anyway i would say it will constantly rise after some time will pass, when whole btc pool is going to be mined. we will see anyway

How many bitcoins do you need to retire in 20 years, purely depends upon what will be the value of bitcoin at that time. If the price is very high, then only small amount of bitcoins will be enough for you. but if the price s less then even tons of BTCs will not fulfill your needs.

Sure the price will make the huge difference in the ammount of how many bitcoins will be need to retire. The same way as each one of us has a different life style, im able to survive with around 0.50btc montlhy soo to retire i would need something around 200-300 btc should be more then enought.
3327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: July 04, 2016, 06:52:16 PM
Having multiple accounts is necessary to add extra protection on your hard earned bitcoins. Put your bitcoins on your multiple wallets and invest on multiple exchange and not just one. If one will shut down you will have many more extras to replace your losses. But if you only have one and it collapses then it is the end of your exchange and trading activities and you will have to start again from the very beginning which is troublesome.

Sure the rule shouldnt be let all your coin at just one exchange if it close we will loose all the coins inside, but there arent several trusted exchanges nowadays and even those trusted can close doors from no where. I use more then one wallet but the main wallet is the one that has always the funds , the others is to make business.
3328  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much do you earn per day on: July 04, 2016, 06:49:11 PM

3329  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do if you suddenly lost all of your bitcoins? on: July 04, 2016, 06:47:56 PM
My currently porfolio would make me get pissed and bored to loose my precious bitcoin. It wont make me suicide or anything else besides to have to start again collecting and looking to the future.
3330  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: July 04, 2016, 12:52:36 AM
At 2017 I believe bitcoin will find more supporters and maybe be accepted and regulated by some country and some more big companies as paypal apple start accepting bitcoin.
3331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: July 04, 2016, 12:47:42 AM
People don't generally hate bitcoin. Most of them avoid it just for its volatility.
Also some of them doesn't like to accept the risks of it and want to avail the traditional system of investment.

Price fluctuations is the most important factor that keeps people away from bitcoin as they have fear of loosing their money by investing in something they really don't know.

I don't agree with you, the huge volatility bringed huge investors and supporters, allowing anyone to make easy money between pump and dumps. People don't hate are afraid to use it because its connected to be something illegal and media keep showing that face.
3332  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: July 04, 2016, 12:46:56 AM
Bitcoin has its own bank system and doesn't generate any fee from that, but holding bitcoin has been the most easy way to get and generate new and fresh money.
3333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People deserve to lose their Bitcoins ? on: July 03, 2016, 08:53:36 PM
Usually the money is at exchanges because people wanna grow their portfolio and the most safe are exchanges, almost all investements has its risks related,  the most of use ignore it focus only and potencial income soo they don't see any signals and some projects hiden it very well.
3334  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2016, 08:13:58 PM
The biggest loose I had were into the rentrigs I didn't know how it work and I tried to invest there and for newbies their support sucks I invested around 0.10btc trying to rent. It should be just deposit and the rig owner would create and run as we are paying for the service.
3335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: July 03, 2016, 07:55:36 PM
Software development team here.
We would like to hear from the community what are the most annoying\frustrating stuff you have with Bitcoin and would love to get a solution for ?
Feel free to talk about any problem, even if it seems unsolvable or too abstract (e.g. Bitcoin is not safe enough for the average user)
Edit:
After reading all the replies, I feel confident summarizing that the #1 problem of Bitcoin is probably lack of adoption.
And the main reasons of lack of adoption are probably ease of use and insufficient security.
We are a team of entrepreneurs and software developers that are going to spend the next following months-year on developing a new product.
One of the most appealing markets for us is the Bitcoin market.
We will try to learn us much as possible from your replies and try to tackle the problems head on.
My first biggest problem of bitcoin is. I cannot reach the 1 bitcoin before until now. That's my biggest problem. And the second is it is hard to find paying sites. Because most of them is scammer and there's the virus of their sites. And the third is confirmation time and inconsistency sometimes it is few minutes to get first confirmation, sometimes you have to wait half an hour. And the fourth is no finance motivation for running bitcoin core node which cost more and more resources to run and is unusable for home users.

You should try chopcoin its a game paying well all you need is a bit lucky and skills, similar agario. Im not finding any problem with confirmations, sure it take a bit time but patiente is the key. The only problem around bitcoin for me is not being able to go market and pay with them just that.
3336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Party 2016 on: July 03, 2016, 07:51:17 PM
I will prepare my eyes to see and pat attention to the screen and prepare my hand to sell the coin when the price is high, after i sell it i will make a party to celebrate it hopefully the price will go very high
When all together sell coins it will be mashed together and there can be great chances for price to go low, so it is good not to sell all coins at time of halving.

Sure there will be a big number of people dumping their coins and from the other side will be people waiting to get them cheap as we all believe price will go up again and we will be at the 4 digits soon or later.
3337  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2016, 03:29:37 PM
Since the price of Bitcoin changes a lot, so I know most of you are investing large amounts of money in Bitcoin.
But why are you doing this? to make money by selling them after a price increase? or is it just to have something to do on the internet?
And since the price can increase and decrease, you can lose this invested money, what would you do?

perhaps just to have something to do on the internet? Smiley yeah while waiting to be employed online.
bitcoin is money so like the rest we all wanna earn money and what better ways do we have here but signature campaigns and trading altcoins.

basically i just use my earn bitcoin to trade with some other coins on exchanges.

Besides the huge potencial around biotin value, the low fees, I consider bitcoin a extra source of income soo being able to spend my time and earn with it its something amazing for something new and not yet mass adopted.
3338  Other / Archival / Re: Where you get Bitcoin ? on: July 03, 2016, 03:19:27 PM
My main source currently is chopbitcoin where I can get something around 100-300k satoshis daily, I use eobot as well and sometimes I try faucets ,besides signature.
3339  Economy / Auctions / Re: Full member potential legendary 980+ on: July 02, 2016, 04:11:32 PM
I would make a bid if OP can provide signed message from at least 1 year [no info about signed message was found here].
Undoubtedly this is a legendary account, if the winner posts like 50 posts a week, it will become after 4 months 1100 Activity which is pure Legendary.

I believe the proof or some more info must be provided, the link to estimate value here would be a must to anybody be able to know and confirm that's a potencial legendary. I don't like the green lights around the account for sure, and its wizard some hero complaint soo I believe he had acess to the account and checked it
we can negotiate on price interested people can PM.

The account you are selling is a potential Senior Member account, not Hero and certainly not Legendary. Just because you write a misleading description, does not mean people will pay ridiculous amounts for what you are selling.
Soo  I believe the user is confusing post with activity, maybe im wrong.
3340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: July 02, 2016, 04:04:07 PM
I believe the moment to profit around this halving has already happened even expecting a bit more pressure and a better value over bitcoin till end the year, does anyone knows when will occur the next halving besides this one happening soon?
