3321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous a red flag? on: April 12, 2021, 01:09:42 AM
I'm doing a research on a new project right now and I see that the team decide to go anonymous, is staying anonymous a red flag for newbies?

No, if they are bringing something to the community that will enhance the use of the technology, Satoshi Nakamoto is anonymous and yet he revolutionizes the world, but if they are promising to give you something in exchange for funding them, then being anonymous is not good and they will become suspicious that they are trying to scam investors if they want money for their project let them come transparent.
3322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 12, 2021, 12:57:01 AM
Gambling is not for the weak character who cannot control their greed and urge to gamble, you will perish and ruin yourself if you try to gamble without control and treat gambling as a source of income, learn from those who experienced this and do not try to experience and see for yourself if you can try to make money from gambling, it will not work, once you got in, there's no turning back if you have a weak character, be guided and go always on the safe side.
3323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Rodriguez - April 10th on: April 11, 2021, 01:29:01 PM

I'm a bit disappointed, I thought he would win this fight in KO, but it's not happening, the betting odds are wrong, he has a heavy favorite and it looks like he does not have the power to KO his opponent. I'm glad there's no betting odds available in crypto betting sites because I could have loss my bet as I'm sure I'll bet on Ancajas to win by KO.

It's still a win but he needs to fight other champion in other organization, this win did not give him anything but a win, not something that will give a good impression to promoters, other champions and boxing experts, hopefully in his next match he'll give us a very impressive win, he is one of the boxers touted as the next Pacquiao.
3324  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and Dubai on: April 11, 2021, 01:07:06 PM
I can't say for sure but there was a post about bitcoin as to whether it is haram or halal and I don't know what the Muslim scholars have decided but it seems to favor haram and knowing that Dubai is Muslim country there might be some problems but I don't think that it hasn't stop bitcoin economy in there so probably the statistics were true.

I guess the Muslim scholars haven't decided on this issue, it's an issue that hopefully will favors the Cryptocurrency community, we have millions of Muslim brothers who are investors, traders, developers and bounty hunters and it will have an impact if the scholars favors against it, if it favors it will be a giant step for adoption, so we'll wait for the scholars to meet , tackle and resolve this issues.

3326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do I need to pay Tax on my Crypto Gambling Winnings? A guide on: April 11, 2021, 08:26:23 AM
There's no issue with taxing players in our country because our government do not care or not aware of the numbers of people playing in online gambling casinos, so we have no form asking us to pay taxes, lucky for me I don't need to bother paying even if I want to, I prefer paying taxes coming from profit or my income but I don't consider gambling as profit-driven as I'm also losing a lot of money also.
3327  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hotbit kidnaps your coins then ask for ransom if you ever do one tiny mistake on: April 11, 2021, 07:55:40 AM
Did they ask 0.20 ETH in the support ticket? Damn, this is stupid. Why would anyone have to pay even a penny to have support from the service anyone using? You shouldn’t pay that at the first place.
Or have you contacted through any other platform?
I have heard of hotbit few times and it never seems a scam one to me although I can see some scam accusation against them.
This is the first time that I have heard of a support that asks for a payment for their support ticket, this is a scam and I hope that OP is the only and the last user to become a victim of this exploitative website.

There's another one, Yobit is charging 0.01 Bitcoin or even more if you open a ticket I tried it once and they are charging me 0.01 back then to create a ticket because of one of my deposit, it happens two years ago, glad that my deposit went through, so I don't bother to send 0.01 Bitcoin, Livecoin is charging OP because of the error, not the ticket created.
3328  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: >>> Scam Alert <<<< SMS Scam of 9.8 BTC Deposited - In Progress on: April 11, 2021, 07:45:08 AM
This is something new I log in on the details you've sent here, and I have a similar experience like yours I checked the site traffic and it's a new site because there is not enough information on itit, you did not mention that they are asking funds so they can unlock or change the phone, but once they do ask, we can consider this as similar to those airdrops where you will need to send them funds first before they will grant your request.

Looking for more updates coming from you, so we can see if it is a new scheme meant to scam people.
3329  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hotbit kidnaps your coins then ask for ransom if you ever do one tiny mistake on: April 10, 2021, 10:49:45 PM
This is so wrong and it's like adding insult to injury they let you know that you fucked up then they made you pay for your error and then ignore you, this is so cruel at least they should address this issue after you made a deposit.

The worst thing that you can experience in exchange is ignoring your tickets when it involves a huge amount, it's like they don't care.
they should go here and address this issue.
3330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 10, 2021, 10:38:23 PM
Hello to all! Another topic about casinos and games. I started playing at THIS CASINO quite often. At the very beginning I thought I would just play in the evening, but one evening turned into a constant game during the day. On the first deposit, I was lucky and I took out a little, it was x3 of my deposit and I was happy. Recently, I just started making stupid deposits and trying to win something and I understand that this is self-deception, but I cannot stop and make more and more deposits. I decided to make the 1st level of VIP, but for this I need to make a turnover of 10k dollars, but I am a player with low stakes and this is difficult for me to do. You seem to understand everything that you will lose, but you go to play again. How to get rid of gambling addiction?

By admitting that you were wrong putting what you cannot afford to lose and realize that it's not always winning and there's a possibility of losing a lot, you are on your way to curing yourself of your addition, now the next thing you need to do is to reach out to other gamblers who suffered from that condition and cured, there are many of these in the gambling anonymous groups, or you can contact your local professional that deals with gambling-related addiction, honesty is the best cure for any addiction.
3331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Cotto vs Marquez - Exhibition match on: April 10, 2021, 10:32:42 PM
This is a surprise:

Miguel Cotto vs. Juan Manuel Marquez Exhibition Clash in Play For June 12

Oh well, retired boxers are now on the exhibition match. I think this fight should have happened when they are still fighting, Pacquiao has the luxury to fight these two legendary boxers, specially Marquez. Information is sketchy at this point.

Perhaps Cotto will be the slight favourite here.

These are two of the best slugger in their division, it's unfortunate that we have not witnessed these two fighters together in the ring in their fighting days, both fighters did not show sign of aging in their last fights, but since this is an exhibition match with no belt or ranking at stake and with many stipulations don't think we will see a slugfest as we've seen in their heydays, they are two of my favorite boxers and hopefully they will not seriously hurt each other, I bet Cotto will win by a decision here.
3332  Economy / Reputation / Re: KICKICO-KickEx:Legit business or scam in making? on: April 09, 2021, 10:22:47 PM

Unfortunately, you can stay assured tokens value will dump hard once they are unlocked (maybe end of 2021 if i correctly understood ?).

This token is faking our wallets real value by now !  Sad

I have 3 of my wallets with Kicks on it, it's one of the annoying shitcoins that I always see every time I logged in to my main wallets, it's value is going up and down and it has some impact on me because my wallets are not showing the correct value, because of the presence of these shitcoin, it's one of the coins that I want to get rid of to bring back the real on time value of the coins I have in my wallet.

I have no updates on this token, if they ever unlocked it, it will bring down the value to zero but at least I can get rid of it.
3333  Economy / Exchanges / Bilaxy has the highest withdrawal fee on: April 09, 2021, 01:04:48 PM
I tried to rid one of my shitcoin and I found it trading on Bilaxy I convert it to Eth and checked all the other coins to convert my Eth from other coins because I know that Ethereum will incur a high fee.

But I'm very surprised to find out that all the coins had huge withdrawal fees compared to other exchange I've traded

These are just a sample of the coins I tried to withdraw all the other coins shows very high withdrawal fee
USDT
Minimum Withdrawal 40 USDT Transaction Fee:30 USDT

BAT
Minimum Withdrawal 62 BAT Transaction Fee: 31 BAT

Their average withdrawal fee is $25

I only have $40 to withdraw but I will end up getting $5 to $10 all my profit will be eaten up by the fee, so beware of trading on Bilaxy don't deposit if you are going to withdraw small amount

3334  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Crex24 dont funds my coins on: April 09, 2021, 12:27:32 PM

At op and other victim, Crex24 had been reported excessively for scamming their users in one way or the other for so many times on the forum. Why not choose Binance exchange instead of crex24 when your issue had been resolved.

Unfortunately, some of the new coins in the market are not listed in Binance, if you are bounty hunters or investors of new coins and the coins you've supported, listed their token here in Crex24, you will have to take the risk of trading or wait for the developers to add more exchange for their coin, it's actually the fault of developers for choosing Crex24, this is because of the low fee, some exchange like Crex24 offers free listing.
3335  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAmWATCH] Cramtrade.com is Fake Investment Platform on: April 09, 2021, 11:17:45 AM
Definitely a Ponzi Scheme glad that you caught this Ponzi scheme this early, they even had an address on their homepage to make the project looks real in the eyes of the gullible.

Only people who do not have experienced investing will fall into this, there is no way any company or organization can give you a 150% profit, it's just unrealistic.
3336  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: April 09, 2021, 11:04:34 AM

Same as this is the gambling, more key players are involved with match fixing even after getting huge sum of money after every match winning/losing. Why certain sportsmen have such greed towards money when people are starving to have a single meal on a day.
People who are doing this are ruining the reputation of the sports where they belong, they are not the top players and officials of the sports so they want to destroy it, they only want money and they don't care about the organizations, we have these kinds of people in every organization, we have a saying in every jungle there are snakes, so don't be surprised if we have these kinds of people in the sporting world.
3337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's 100k bubble may not burst ??? on: April 03, 2021, 10:48:42 AM
I don't think that bitcoin will hit $ 100 this year, but I do believe the price increase will continue. because bitcoin this year is a little different from the previous year. large companies and even some government institutions have adopted bitcoin. now bitcoin has been widely accepted by most people. so the chances of it dropping to 70% are very slim.

Everything is open, Bitcoin reaching $60 is beyond the expectation of many of us here this year, we are only on the fourth month of this year, there's still a lot of things that's going to happen for the rest of the year, good things or bad things we never know, investors just react on every news that comes along, so $100k is still possible but not guaranteed.
3338  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SatoshiBones - Bitzillions Exit Scam? on: April 03, 2021, 06:02:55 AM
According whois.com, their domain seems to have expired, and they just updated it today. Could be the reason they are offline. Can't tell.

Code:
Domain: bitzillions.com
Registrar: NameCheap, Inc.
Registered On: 2013-05-08
Expires On: 2022-05-08
Updated On: 2021-04-02

But the website is still offline.

Their account here has been offline since October 14, 2014. I will tag it, but I don't think it will be of any use since their thread has also been inactive for almost 4 years.

Sorry for the loss. Keep trying though. If there are any developments. Alert me.
We can still wait for 48 hours more and see if they will still get the domain up, they have one year for their domain, we can never be sure some scammers are still renewing their domain, even if they stop their project, we can only speculate, they will either get it up or sell the domain or parked it, 48 hours is enough time if they want to continue their existing project.
3339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it bearish season yet? on: April 03, 2021, 05:49:43 AM
It's been a month since OP created this thread and there's no indication that we are going to have a bear trend, there's news that PayPal is now allowing cashout with Crypto so this is another good news and will push the price up, so far many good news are coming in if these news keeps coming in there's a possibility that Bitcoin will hit $100k finally.
3340  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WARNING! Stay away from Blockchain.com wallet! on: April 01, 2021, 09:37:52 PM
I'm a long-time user of blockchain.com, back when they are using blockchain.info so far I have no issue at all with their service, but I'm fully aware of their issues it's a small percentage but I will not risk all my coins and make it my main wallet the most funds I have stored here was $150, I just need an online wallet so I can access it whenever I'm on the road, so far it serves it purpose.
