3321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to Invest 1 bitcoin on: January 25, 2017, 02:09:10 PM
When you are planning to invest don't listen to other people because you are going to blame them. It's better for you do some research there are many coins are launching daily, study them, research them, pick the good one who are supporting it and invest in it. In this way you will acquire some knowledge about how to research.
This opinion is out of experience, cos anyone who plans to invest in an ICO took a risk. It is just an evaluated risk when you research the ICO. There are a lot to consider in any ICO you are researching which should be stated. ANN thread of such ICO is also a platform to ask questions, sometimes directly from the staff of the projects.
3322  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it worth buying now from BitcoinATM? on: January 25, 2017, 11:38:41 AM
obviously you are paying a higher price because of the fees, I have never used one before  but you should check if you are correct about the price. anyway 7% means $963 when price is $900 and if there isn't any other fees and if "paying with cash" is what you want then I guess it is ok if you use it.
It is always connected to the internet so it sells per time according to the internet exchange rate, though the exchange is described to be $50 or more than other sellers, with the 7% transaction rate, this is where the owners of the ATM gets to gain. This high rate is one the reason for slow adoption in some countries
3323  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective? on: January 23, 2017, 05:50:52 PM
have been thinking also of what could justify the higher pay in signature campaign if the effectiveness of the campaign is not known.

3329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Is Now Moving Up on: January 19, 2017, 11:11:33 PM
I wont be surprise if the crowning of the new president has no effect of bitcoin. It is predicted that the rate of technological development could slide below uncertainty level at his time, there is look out to his response on that subject in coming weeks. And bitcoin is one of the newest tech
3330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The greatest innovation? on: January 19, 2017, 11:01:55 PM
I won't count blockchain among the greatest innivation, so far there is no large scale use of the tech. we are just hoping it will hit the real world use. Blockchain cannot be considered to have affected the world the way Electricity, Aircraft, Internet, Computer etc. have changed the world positively may be in future it will but not presently
That's true, we should wait until it proves itself. The Internet wasn't on the list in the 70s and 80s, when it was still used only by scientist and large corporations, and how many people use blockchain? Not even 1% of the population. To compare think how many people are using a fork or a spoon or a microwave? Also, like others have said, blockchain is only a tool for Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the one that deserves a place on that list.
To buttress this, Internet is the greatest innovation of the last century. Most especially when blockchain technology is mentioned alon with it, no internet no blockchain technology
3331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: January 19, 2017, 10:57:08 PM
Some third world countries dont have an active effect of bitcoin in the transaction within their region, yet they claim they cant afford their populace to adopt it. The fear for the coin worries me atimes. Why the fear to make life easier with technology
i think it is not the main reason, but the main reason can be that in third world countries the education ratio is very low there, and they have also very limited resource of compute internet, their people cannot affort compute and internet that is why they do not have access to bitcoin to use it, i think it will still take some more time when they will have access to bitcoin.
The level of education in these countries may, in fact, be a factor that also prevents many users from knowing this technology and using cryptocurrencies. If these people had more knowledge about it, I think there would be much more adoption, even with the restrictions imposed by governments in those countries.

Hopefully, with the increasing number of people using the Internet around the globe, this may change, because easy access to information will make more and more people aware of it.
Have you been to this part of the country that I posted the link. A part of the country has over 50% educated indigenes with regular access to in internet via their phone 24/7. The new internet service is at 4g network bandwidth. Different internet service providers that compete for better service. The problem is the acceptability not the environment

lol you talking about my country, yes theyre afraid using technology, they like the old school transaction, and dont want a change.
but if some market in my country start accepting bitcoin payment, maybe they will learn, earn, and do some things about coin.
The reality shall be serve, when big countries accept bitcoin, small countries follow. It take time dude, also live in a small country and I notice there are no merchant or stores that accept bitcoin, I am sure they are aware but they are still waiting for the right timing since it's hard to compromise their business when bitcoin was not fully back by the government.

If the real satoshi shows up, I dont think he will have to do anything about bitcoin for now but he will be entice to produce a better version of bitcoin with a large size, anonymity and faster transaction. Am sure he wont be able to resist the enticement

No free money anywhere here except hacking others bitcoin.Trading and investing is risky, so learn the technique, it reduces loss and you make safer decision. Mining requires a lot and the profit is not big. As newbie, try to accrue bitcoin and grow your rank. Probably invest and trade your accrued bitcoin you might have to smile in 6 months than weekly
