3321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 6 Rare Metaverse Coins Under $0.6 on: January 28, 2022, 06:40:38 AM
Only reason i can think of is that you took arbitrary number because you want to insert your favorite project with less competition examples.
Yes, that won't be farther from the truth. However, we don't have to discard the insight OP has let us into there. Just peruse those tokens and find out (DYOR) if they're worth your penny. I once had Verasity for months in 2021 until I sold it off in frustration. It didn't move much, and was one of the disappointing investments I made last year. Like someone rightly observed below, Metaverse wasn't even a thing when VRA debuted. Except the dev team is trying to smuggle it in now.

Elon Musk influence on Dogecoins seems to have dropped, why ?
Tell me what coin or token that hasn't taken a beaten? Did you bother to check how even Bitcoin has plummeted to 50%? I think the market is going through a major correction and it shouldn't be seen as only a Dogecoin disappointment thing. When the market is dipping, fearful investors don't want to listen to motivational speakers (we can put Elon in that category).

I've been part of many bounty before and participate on bounties last year and guess what, some of them didn't pay at all.
Not some, most. Most of them don't pay. And those that pay even do so mostly with their unknown tokens which in most cases end up being worthless. Next time, I advise you to choose bounties run by reputable managers or only those bounties that pay with already listed tokens.

what can I do to increase my rank?
Nothing special you can do apart from churning out constructive posts. BTW, I glanced through your post history and that isn't looking bad. You just have to be more active and merits will find you.
3325  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start In Crypto Without Investment on: January 27, 2022, 01:51:15 PM
OP, you omitted bitcointalk.org and that's a grave mistake. I started here in 2017, not knowing any single thing about Bitcoin; here became my classroom. There was no way I could've invested in any project being the conservative type that I am. I started posting until I ranked up and was able to get into campaigns. I remember we used to earn upt to 0.015btc – 0.018btc then as full to senior members. With my weekly earnings, I started ploughing that back into assets that I could buy and that was how the investment rave caught on for me. Till date, I haven't invested a dime from my savings that I didn't earn here. So, I believe this site should also be included.

3329  Economy / Economics / Re: One nation one currency... on: January 26, 2022, 07:27:06 PM
what will be the scenario of the current world if there is only one nation and one currency and humans invest their full strength for human resource development and the development of science and technology? What do you think is that even possible in the future and what will be the benefits and inconvenience of it?
I believe a situation like that will be monotonous, and like they say, "Monotony kills interest" I believe in variety being the spice of life and as such will be displeased with a single world currency. If we've just one currency, it then means we wouldn't be having the Forex market. There won't be the trading of currency pairs. Come to think of it, there won't be the innovation called Bitcoin. We all wouldn't even be here. Do you see how an impossibility that is now?
3330  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: January 26, 2022, 05:04:20 PM
Another opportunity has created for new investors to have some good coins listed in their portfolio. Many who bought higher now leave at the mercy of the market
Well, not really should they be at the mercy of the market if they truly know what they're doing. They can average down their loss by buying the dip. It's the DCA method. This is where I advise newbie traders to only invest in assets they know have use case. So, even when the assets dip you know they're affording you another opportunity to get more of them instead of selling off in panic.

My agitation now is no one should come back shouting about missed opportunity in the future I think since late last year the market has been a bit fair to new investors giving them opportunity to join the train.
You will still read about such whinings here soon. Just wait a few days and the market becomes green again.

3335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: January 25, 2022, 06:58:56 PM
Since May 2021 altcoin's market share has been around 60% of the total crypto market, confirming that the majority of investors are drawn towards altcoins rather than Bitcoin these days.
That's simply because a lot of investors now know that alts give a far better ROI than Bitcoin within a short period of time (sometimes, on long term too). By the way, OP I think your question should've been situated in a way that a particular alt is used as a case study. If not, your question is an open one and I think all answers that will be aggregated here, in whatever guise, will point to one thing and that's "Profit Making". But of course, it's common knowledge that everyone goes into business to make profit, isn't it? Anyone who wants to pretend and be hypocritical about it can go on deceiving themselves.  For me, the sole aim of investing in any project is profit making.
3336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Touched the Bottom RSI three times on: January 25, 2022, 04:01:28 PM
The difficult part is here, in March 2020. Look what happened, Bitcoin broke down below on that trendline, it could happen again? We will not know.
But if we will use this basis, it is more positive to happen, only 2/3 happened since 2018, because last March 2020, it broke down, the other 2 bounced back. So, another good basis for buying this dip.
We should all factor in two things here. The first one being that nothing is certain in a speculative market and that uncertainty provides us with two choices of either up or down, of either profit or loss, of either bear or bull. The second being that the chart OP presented was based on a lagging indicator on a weekly TF. It's possible for price to dip further and not reverse immediately once RSI touched bottom. We've seen that happen countless times but that doesn't mean it won't reverse. In trading, only the patient and disciplined succeed more. We've to be patient, going by that graph, to wait the weekly TF out (which could still be selling on the 4hrs & Daily TFs). Bitcoin dipped to $32,917 yesterday, although from what I'm looking at, there's a strong Support at $30,700. I can't say if it will get down there to garner strength for upward movement or not. If it does, that will look like the observation you made with the March 2020 date.
3337  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Excessive hold time on: January 25, 2022, 12:42:59 PM
~snipped~
Doubt it, OP dropped a question with no details and he's gone, logged out after the post time!
I doubt too if it's anything serious. OP registered on this forum on January 06, 2022 at 01:31:02 am. Made that post here around 10 minutes later and is now last seen on January 06, 2022, 01:43:50 am. The whole thing lasted 12 minutes. It's been close to three weeks from then and OP is nowhere to be found (at least with that user name). I guess they simply posted here so they could spam with an alt account to increase post count. No one should pay them any serious attention.
3338  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 25, 2022, 06:20:50 AM
Just the right time, bitcoin is almost half of its ATH, so view that as an opportunity to buy.
I think that should be a signal to go in. Bitcoin has lost slightly below 50% from its ATH of $69,000 and traded below $33k a few hours ago (yesterday). Yet I know a lot of those who expected Bitcoin to dip for them to buy in will still be scared of going in. This morning Bitcoin is trading around $36,000. It's close to $3k gain on the low of yesterday. This shows how Bitcoin is truly a phoenix. Anyone who isn't buying now will definitely be missing a great low opportunity ATM.
3339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The relationship between educational qualification and quality of post. on: January 24, 2022, 03:30:39 PM
First, you need to get this idea of education qualification being equal to brilliance or intelligence off your head. There are lots of people who've high degrees they can't defend; no spark to show brilliance. When some tertiary institution graduates talk you will want to question the authenticity of the paper they hold as degrees. That's it. Having quickly dispensed with that ugly situation, let me say that one's academic brilliance has a way of rubbing off well on one's posts here. Being educated means being exposed to varieties of views and thought patterns as that's what books are for. Those two have a way of finding themselves in one's posts, whether those written in English or other languages. I'm one of those who believe that while English shouldn't be a yardstick for measuring one's educational qualification, those who can't write well in that language should be proud to maintain their vernacular than writing broken English. I enjoy reading well constructed posts, and not the other way round.
3340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Representing bitcointalk.org letters in crypto terms on: January 24, 2022, 12:15:04 PM
Still, the first letter should come from Bitcoin itself. Let's give Caesar what's Caesar's, okay? Wink
My point too. I would've patted the OP on the back but for that. How did they miss the most important word here – Bitcoin, and the most amazing innovation of the century – Bitcoin. It's supposed to even be a double mention whenever issues around cryptocurrency and BTT are discussed.
