3341  Other / Meta / Re: System Merit on: June 20, 2018, 12:20:10 PM
Excuse me for the masters, I am here to ask about the merit system, I am still confused with the merit system my confusion is how to get the merit, but I've never posted several posts but I did not get the merit. Please respond masters 🙏 thank you

Sorry to say this mate, but earning merit from this forum is so difficult, specially for newbies that are obviously lack of knowledge about cryptocurrency. The best thing that you should do now is, just focus on studying and gathering more knowledge about cryptocurrency and making such threads that can be very useful to anyone. In this way, you can earn some merit from the members you assisted.
3342  Economy / Speculation / Re: why now all coins are going down and when are they are are going to stable on: June 20, 2018, 11:18:52 AM
why now all coins are going down and when are they are are going to stable ..any idea pls  help me because i have invested around 100000USD into crypto in last year

I think the price correction of crypto specially bitcoin will continue to decrease, specially now that the 6th largest crypto exchange in the whole world and the 2nd crypto exchange in South Korea which is Bithumb had been hacked and lost of approximately $37.2 million worth of coins including of some ERC20 tokens. So we have to expect now a continuous dump of cryptocurrency price, because of what happened on Bithumb.
3343  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-06-20] Retail Adoption of Crypto Would “Bring the Internet to a Halt” on: June 20, 2018, 08:31:53 AM
Retail Adoption of Crypto Would “Bring the Internet to a Halt” – BIS Report

The Bank of International Settlements (BIS) has leased a chapter from its forthcoming annual report that delivers a critical appraisal of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The report attacks virtual currencies from several main standpoints: claiming that cryptocurrencies do not effectively perform monetary functions due to price volatility, that the retail adoption of blockchain-based payment mechanisms would “bring the internet to a halt,” mass cryptocurrency adoption would reap a drastic environmental toll, and that the trust engendered by a decentralized network is too “fragile” to compete with that of centralized institutions.

BIS Annual Report Provides Critical Appraisal of Crypto

Retail Adoption of Crypto Would "Bring the Internet to a "Halt" - BIS ReportThe chapter addressing cryptocurrencies in BIS’ upcoming report opens by stating that “Less than 10 years after their inception, cryptocurrencies have emerged from obscurity to attract intense interest on the part of businesses and consumers, as well as central banks and other authorities. They garner attention because they promise to replace trust in long-standing institutions, such as commercial and central banks, with trust in a new, fully decentralized system founded on the blockchain and related distributed ledger technology (DLT).”

Despite acknowledging that “Cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin promise to deliver not only a convenient payment means based on digital technology, but also a novel mode of trust,” the BIS report seeks to highlight a number of “economic limitations” arising from “permissionless cryptocurrencies.”

3344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Insurance or cryptocurrency investment? on: June 20, 2018, 06:36:29 AM
Hi, I'm planning to pull my insurance to invest in crypto for long period of time and trade a portion as well. Recently, I was wondering if I let my money sleep in my insurance for 10 years it will triple but I'm also thinking that what if at that time the value of my money is still the same as today because of inflation.

I know that investing into crypto could be profitable, but i don't really think that pulling all your insurance and invest it into cryptocurrency is a good idea, we all know how risky is cryptocurrency and it's really hard to trust a huge amount of money to invest on it. If you really want to invest in crypto, just invest an amount that you can afford to lose, because there are no guarantee that all your money will return with a profit, and to avoid of losing to much money and repent later.
3345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project without team members on: June 20, 2018, 03:08:46 AM
Hy all.

There is something bordering me and I will like to share with you all.  have been wondering if we need any Jupiter to tell us that a project without team members and no whitepapers are like to scam.
My questions is that have you seen any bounty campaign without team members and the project succeeded?
If such is there please outline let look into such project and loop it out.

I think it could be so difficult to anyone to run a project without a team members, and how can you call a project if the project doesn't have a whitepaper? If you saw or encounter a project like this without a team members and a whitepaper, it's obviously a scam. Because there are lots of projects that is having a good and promising whitepaper with team members, but still a scam, how much more of a project without everything.
3346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin? on: June 20, 2018, 12:01:41 AM
I think the most scary about investing in bitcoin is the high volatility of its market value that can cause of the unexpected decrease and decrease of its price that could be hard for anyone to predict, no one really knows when it will rise or fall.
3347  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Drop: Is this the Best Time to Buy? on: June 19, 2018, 10:51:23 PM
By 2 PM (EST) on June 11, 2018, Bitcoin had dropped almost $1,000 from its price, trading at $6,700. BTC is now trading at its lowest value since the middle of March 2018. One of the most significant questions remains what to do next – join the selloff brigade, hodl, or buy more Bitcoins?

If you really believe on bitcoins ability to create a greater value in the future, i think this is the perfect time for you to have more of it, because it already has a very cheap price that could give you a huge profit when its market has made its full recovery.
3348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Selecting an ICO on: June 19, 2018, 08:15:06 AM
Is it good to select a campaign or an ICO that is listed already on exchange? I am also looking for a good ICO that I will participate. However, I am looking for a post ICO where they are already listed on exchange because I think it has an assurance that the ICO is already succeed.

Of course it is, because you're sure that it will not be a scam and you don't have to wait anymore because their coins or tokens is already listed in an exchange. All you need to do is to work on the campaign and finish it until the end, and it's up to you if you want to trade it immediately or you want to hold it in a more longer time.
3349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A bloody day! Should I invest in virtual currency? on: June 19, 2018, 06:02:36 AM
Look at the market that I was so scared! Do not know where to start?

If this is your first time to invest in crypto, it could be scary, because of the continuous downfall of its market. But the question is, would you like to invest in crypto in a more expensive price that might give you a  small earnings in the future, or in a more cheaper price like what crypto market have now that will give you a huge profit when its market value rises.
3350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a Day Trader work with cryptos? on: June 19, 2018, 12:14:26 AM
Hi.

Does a Day Trader work with cryptos?

Does Anyone is doing a Day Trader?

thank's

There are lots of traders here in this forum mate, but long-term traders are much more than day traders. Because it takes more risk in day trading that can cause you to lose a lot of money if you don't fully understand the market of cryptocurrency, because it has a high volatility of its market that could be so hard for anyone to predict of its price.

3352  Other / Meta / Re: Is it legal to give a negative trust to a 'BM' who ended a scam project? on: June 18, 2018, 02:29:01 AM
It depends on the situation mate, some campaign managers really don't know that the project that they managed is a scam. But if the campaign manager knows that the project is a scam since then and it's proven, they really deserves to be given a negative trust from DT members.
3353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: search for signature campaigns on: June 15, 2018, 10:14:20 PM
hello friends, i want to find information about signature campaigns. are there any suggestions from friends to join a signature campaign that starts this week.
I am not looking for many prizes, just looking for a signature campaign that is not a scam.
tell me if you know.

if you want to participate in signature campaign, you can go to services in economy section where signature and social media campaigns that are paying in bitcoins is held. 3354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Two important strategies in crypto trading on: June 15, 2018, 09:36:52 PM
Crypto trading really takes a lot of risk specially in day trading, where you need to spend a lot of time on monitoring of its market value to be able to know when to buy and sell cryptos. And i have here some strategies to share, first, every time you purchase make sure to set your target profit to be able to know when is the right time to sell. Second, as i've said earlier, day trading really needs a lot of time to spend on monitoring of its market, to be able to keep track of its price increase and decrease.
3355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the good coins to buy in this time? on: June 15, 2018, 07:41:04 PM
Crypto market is go down in this movement. I have some USDTs. So I want buy some coins. Is this time good for buy? What are the good coins to buy and Hole long term? Any suggestions? Smiley

Base on what's happening now in cryptocurrency market specially in bitcoin, i think it's a great opportunity to have more of it for those who wants to start investing in crypto because it already has a cheaper price that can give a huge profit on its holder in the future. And i'd like to recommend you to invest in bitcoin or ethereum, because this two are the most secured and most profitable crypto that i ever had since i started it.
3356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you panic and start selling coins? on: June 15, 2018, 04:01:44 PM
Honestly i'm afraid of what might happen to bitcoin price today, but i still thinking that bitcoin always overcame this kind of problem even from the beginning. That's why i'm still holding my bitcoins no matter what happens, and i don't lose hope with it.
3357  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's wrong with Bitcoin now? on: June 15, 2018, 02:15:53 PM
Bitcoin has lost almost 15% of its value since two weeks ago. At the peak around Christmas holidays, it was trading at over $19,000.

Bitcoin investors have been predicting that meteoritic rises will commence any day now. But the price has been hovering in the $8,000-$9,000 range with surprisingly low volumes.

One Good Post: why is Bitcoin price stagnant?

What is happening in the Bitcoin world?  What is the near-term price forecast for Bitcoin?

I think the main reason why the price of bitcoin is dumping like this is because of those FUDS that are spreading from those crypto news sites that brings fear to the holders that can cause of panic selling and the most affected is the price of bitcoin.
3358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I buy in this dip on: June 15, 2018, 03:43:33 AM
I can't resist a good sale and I'm thinking of buying 3-5 alts in this dip. Tell me what you think:

Strengthen my position in NEO / EOS / ETH

OR

Buy into some alts I've been watching for a while: PRL / KMD / ZIL / SIA / (add your coin here)

Any and all suggestions welcome!

As i've said with my previous post with the same topic as yours, i always recommend bitcoin and ethereum is always my second choice for long term investment specially for newbies like you. And since bitcoin does not include the option, i think ethereum is the best in your list.
3359  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any good bitcointalk signature campaigns coming up? on: June 14, 2018, 09:49:14 PM
Does anyone know of any good signature campaigns for ICO's coming up in the next few months? The current one I'm doing will end in early April so I'm starting to look for the next one.

If you're really interested to participate in a signature campaign or any campaigns, you need to be an active member of this forum specially in economy at the services section where signature campaigns are held, or you can click the notify button in the uper right of the said thread to be able to receive a notification every time that there are new thread or campaign are made.
3360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best bounties? on: June 14, 2018, 05:24:55 PM
Hello guys!

thank you for your time,

as you can see i'm new here , i just want to know what is the best type of bounties in term of returns $ ?

1. signature (i don't have access to it)

2. videos and articles ( i can do videos in english)

3. social media

If you're looking for the best campaign to participate in a bounty, you can do all of that but you need some skills in other campaigns, such as translation campaign,      article, blog, and video making. And the easiest thing to do is to participate in a signature and social media campaigns, but you have to be at least a member rank to be able to participate in any campaign you'd like. Ad when it comes to social media, you have to reach there minimum required followers for every acount that you have to be able to participate.
