3341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Comparing bitcoin halvings - 2012 to 2020 on: December 09, 2021, 11:32:10 PM
This kind of prediction is more on the reality than for those random people who keep telling above $200,000 prediction or even $100,000 on the end of 2021.
With this kind of basis, the year 2022 and basis is bitcoin block halving which is already proven for the period of time, this is more realistic. Healthy price action will result in a positive run.

I can share it also here the countdown for Bitcoin block halvings: https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/
3342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoiner's with Zero investment. on: December 07, 2021, 11:39:27 PM
Bitcoiners with zero investment is kinda legit especially way back a few years ago.
For me, I can't say it is zero investment because I got my first Bitcoin on somehow like a job where I worked on and they paid me Bitcoin, so I can't say I got it free, I worked for it.
I can say it is free or zero investment is when people ask for Bitcoin for someone and they received Bitcoin without any work or task or anything they did, they just gave their Bitcoin wallet address and they already received.

There are also people who are telling that they don't put any money on it like "airdrops", there are some airdrops who got some task before giving any Bitcoin so it still works. And some also legit giveaways which is can be considered as free too.
3343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TECHNICAL ANALYSIS on: December 07, 2021, 11:33:50 PM
I can share with you the thread I created before here in the forum.
One of the Best Weapons in Trading

This is about risk management, typically stop-loss. How important stop loss is and it will help you to become a good trader because one of the most mistakes of newbies on trading is about risk management like they don't do stop loss.
3344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ascendex’s ASD to follow Kucoin’s KCS? on: December 06, 2021, 12:14:43 AM
To be honest, these kinds of coins are a high possibility that will do the "domino effect", it's like they will copy each other actions.
For example Binance did Binance Smart Chain, and look Kucoin now, they created their own network, and before, Huobi also got Huobi chain after Binance.

So, this Ascendex could also copy what other exchanges did. Very possible, especially before, the craze of IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) Most of popular or high volumes exchanges started this feature and most of them are earning huge profits.
3345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Is HODL the only strategy? on: December 06, 2021, 12:09:42 AM
I own different crypto and mostly I stake with them because I am interested in the long return. With bitcoin I am actually doing nothing. Can you suggest any strategies to make even a little APR? I know that I can't stake with bitcoin.
There are other blockchain networks that offer yield farming or staking.
There are some platforms that offer wrapped Bitcoin pairs. How to wrapped your Bitcoin? Well, there are multiple bridging platforms these days in which your particular cryptocurrency in the specific network is being bridged to another ecosystem/blockchain network, this is like pegged asset from another blockchain network.

I saw some wrapped Bitcoin yield farming or liquidity pools in Solana ecosystem, check Saber/Orca/Raydium. So that time you are earning some interest, but then again it is not 100% safe or guaranteed profits because you need to consider Impermanent Loss or maybe the platform itself can be hack.
3346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why should I use Kucoin over Binance? on: December 06, 2021, 12:00:04 AM

Kucoin is currently on Rank 5 by adjusted volume. Before Kucoin is really on the bottom of the list, but as time goes by, they are climbing.
But if Binance compares to Kucoin, it's still very far for me, especially if we will measure it on the volume, not even 50%.

But there are lot of things that why you should use Kucoin instead of Binance sometimes, especially for me when you are hunting a hidden gem altcoin, because most of listed altcoins in Binance is already pumped or ROI is likely low.

Another thing is why I am still using Binance, is because their P2P. It's really easy to convert your fiat currency to cryptocurrency or vice versa.
3347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you like to trading with meme coins?? on: December 05, 2021, 11:48:28 PM
People always select good altcoins for trading which could raise up and make them profitable. Some may like to trade with meme coins to earn quick money. which might help them to change their future & fulfil their come dream true over night or might be result lost everything after go down those meme coins unexpectly and never come back. Have you even trade with meme coins or Would you like to trading with meme coins??
If you are a trader I don't think so that you will only trade with meme coins. Because for me as a trader, if I am choosing a pair that I will trade on, I have several reasons and considerations. Like trading volume, market structure. Trading volume is much important because it indicates how active the market is or that pair.

So regarding with meme coins, recently they are owning and pumping so you can see huge votality and trading volume, so it still depends and also in different timeframe.
3348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Copycats good for the industry? on: December 05, 2021, 11:42:00 AM
That's how really works the open-sourced. You can do anything with it, like customized or whatever you like. Another thing is called "forked", it's like they are basing it on the existing project and customized something, like most of the codes there are almost the same from original.
For example, is Dogecoin or Litecoin, these two projects are forked from Bitcoin.

I agree with the OP, BSC is copy-paste (copycat) of Ethereum but still, a lot of people using it as an alternative to Ethereum.

3349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What promising tokens should you buy in 2022? on: December 05, 2021, 09:30:59 AM
I bet for projects that are connected with metaverse, games or are native tokens of alternative chains, so I continue holding Matic, BNB, Solana, Near, Sand. I think that there will be new projects with new features, so I am still not sure what I will invest in then, so we need to to be up to date and follow all news so as not to miss a new hype on the market.
I think it's the right decision because I think the 2022 metaverse project will probably grow a lot,
however we need to see the progress first to be sure,
It's very important to follow the news so you don't miss the moment
Good choice, going together with the flow or wave sometimes it will also make you money, so good choice about metaverse.
For me, Metaverse plus the network or ecosystem where they are built, like Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, etc.

But if you are looking for a gem, so much advisable to go find some small market cap for now but good project.
After the NFT/Metaverse run a few weeks ago, a lot of projects stated to pop that is related to these trends. Most of them for me are scams, so choose wisely, research, and read always.
3350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Potential price of Polygon (MATIC) next year on: December 05, 2021, 09:23:52 AM
At first, I thought Polygon will not reach again the $2. Because for a few months this year, MATIC stay sideways in terms of price. But I believe that's how good projects are. A lot of projects started to move in Polygon as a Layer 2 network built on top of Ethereum.
Even there are already alternatives for Ethereum these days, Layer 1 or layer 2, Matic for me is the number 1 and most of Layer 2 will follow Matic price actions.
There could be a season for every Layer 2 networks for sure in the future.
3351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KCC and new DEXes on: December 05, 2021, 09:21:29 AM
Kucoin is likely copying the steps of what Binance did for their Binance Smart Chain (BSC).
To be honest, I am not a hater of Kucoin or other chain projects, but what I am worried about here is how the network on Kucoin is built, because if it happens the same with Binance, their Binance Smart Chain (BSC) which is a copy-paste from Ethereum Ethereum network, it is a red flag for me.
3352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on sale, will the support continues to hold? on: December 05, 2021, 09:03:47 AM
Agreed. However, sometimes bitcoin is very much manipulated by the whales. They short in the futures market first before they dump the spot market. We have witnessed sustained selling for weeks before this big dump we are witnessing right now. If anyone is not shaking their heads in suspicion on this then they might need to go to a doctor to check their brain.
I am just getting this scenario for the first time. Now that many exchanges are making it also possible to use bitcoin directly to trade USDT M futures, also that Coin M make use of coin directly, like bitcoin as the coin example. The whales can likely just use bitcoin for the trading and short it but later also sell the bitcoin which will result to further price fall. People just need to be careful, a lot of trader's fund had liquidated when bitcoin plunged from $57000 to $40600. The market is mature but there is still manipulations.
Also after manipulating everyone and dumping, they begin buying all the lower priced coins then begin pumping the market again and create fomo hehe. I am shaking my head why there are some people who still think that the dump was caused by weak hands. There are no more weak hands. All of them have no more money hehehehe.
We can't totally blame the whales here, if that's how they make money, so be it. But overall I don't find that 100% this is the reason for some dumps on the market. We already reached a $1 trillion crypto market cap, volume is growing and I believe manipulate is slowly difficult as the volume continue to go up.

Another thing here is the traders who are using leverage too much or don't really know how to use leverage. Because these leverage trades could be a trigger also on short/long squeeze and massive percentage of dump or a pump.
3353  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise or fall. on: December 05, 2021, 08:51:01 AM
BTCitcoin can fall or rise but it can never be stable.

According to market more probability of bitcoin is to fall and settle down which is better for a long term asset.
We can also consider that Bitcoin can do "sideways", we already experience this especially on a few days/weeks, like Bitcoin staying on a particular level, no huge increase or decrease in price.
But as we all know, Bitcoin is volatile. So can rise or fall anytime too with a huge percentage sometimes compare to other assets especially non-crypto assets.

Another thing that Bitcoin for me will rise for the long term is the limited supply of Bitcoin that will exist in the world, basic economics.
3354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'M back! My next move with Bitcoin on: December 05, 2021, 08:28:06 AM
NFT is not so related to Bitcoin.

Try to read also this news: This 12-year-old coder is set to earn over $400,000 after about 2 months selling NFTs

These young generations are the future, so I am glad to hear that you are willing to teach your sibling and she/he is interested.

Another thing is, I don't think you are late and can tell it. As you heard recently we made new all-time-highs after that huge dumps and pumps in just a short period of time, so be careful of these volatilities, especially if you are planning to trade.
3355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC anonymously on: December 05, 2021, 01:09:45 AM
I agree with DaveF and Bitmaxz,

For using P2P transactions for buying Bitcoin, there are already a lot of ways these days depending on your location, you can use;
https://paxful.com/buy-bitcoin
https://localbitcoins.com/
And there are some people who are selling on different groups that can be found on social media, like Facebook (beware of scammers).

Another thing is you can use some network and just bridge them to your Bitcoin wallet, as there is a lot of wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC) on different chains these days, like Ethereum, Solana, BSC, etc.
Just expect some huge transaction fees here.
3356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the highest non-service wallet you ever dealt with? on: December 05, 2021, 01:02:40 AM
How did you know it was a non-service wallet you encountered before?

For me, I can't remember me having a transaction with an individual since it was not a big deal for me especially before when I started using Bitcoin, I still don't know how the transaction works before. So for my experience, I am positive that it is also from this forum as I have some members who transacted before and I believe they are non-service wallets.

Another thing is, sometimes it is difficult to identify some wallets that are owned by some entity, because what if they are using multiple wallets and separating the funds for particular reasons or fields that where the funds will use?
3357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin is overtaken by Ethereum in market cap? on: December 05, 2021, 12:55:26 AM
Currently, it is already 52.6% market cap of Ethereum before it will flip Bitcoin on market cap (https://www.blockchaincenter.net/flippening/)

Ok, let's do some "what if" here. For me if ever that will happen, Bitcoin will stay, Ethereum will stay. We all know that they have different capabilities, so I don't so that it is good to compare these two. As you said, Bitcoin can be the gold, and Ethereum can be the silver.

Digital scarcity can be also be threatened if Bitcoin loses the top market cap, I can agree with this, there is a possibility as since the beginning Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency, always the highest market cap, and since day 1, always the store of value digitally.
3358  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your analysis says about btc in Q1 of 2022?? on: December 05, 2021, 12:42:41 AM
Despite the huge dump, which is almost -20% I am still bullish for this month. I am still positive, altcoins could also carry Bitcoin this time as Bitcoin dominance dropped too much lately.
If ever Bitcoin will drop $40,000 this month, I am looking forward that Q1 of 2022 is the start of a bear market, or just like what happened on December 2017 - Q1 of 2018. After the alt season, a huge drop in the market started, and the bear market started.
3359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never sell for a loss - is a Myth !! on: December 05, 2021, 12:38:48 AM
If you don't know how to accept a loss or cut loss, you are not a trader.
This is one of the many ways to be a good trader.
Always remember that 10% loss is better than 40% loss. If you are worry about your loss, always thing that there are thousands, millions trade opportunities are coming, as long as you still have the capital.
3360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: coinmarketcap or coingecko on: December 02, 2021, 09:17:51 AM
Coingecko for me after Binance bought Coinmarketcap. It's just like bias for me, a centralized exchange owning a cryptocurrency information/tracker platform.
Since I am not a Binance fan, I much prefer to use Coingecko until now, they just got a simple UI, and the good news they updated their mobile app before the mobile app is just like a mobile view of their web, but now, good looking user interface.
