3342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bret Lee Bitcoin charity For India" on: May 02, 2021, 05:02:29 PM
Frankly, anything that is done for assistance to India is very positive and let it be that helping is for humanitarian purposes only.
I don't agree with it, any help from the other government to the suffering country is for political reasons in my opinion. India produces the most vaccines but other countries are buying them for their people, if they really thought that the condition in India is pathetic then they should give some percentage of vaccines to them instead of buying even higher doses than what their people needs.
3343  Economy / Speculation / Re: 🛑 Can bitcoin prices bounce back? Opinion Poll With Results 🛑 on: May 02, 2021, 02:22:41 PM
Bitcoin seems to be trending going down lately. Do you have an argument for its comeback, leave a comment.
It bounced back already and holding around $57K, before asking any question you can analyze the possible reasons for it then you can identify whether it can be a short term down trend or the beginning of bearish trend but we didn't see anything like bearish all just happened due to the miners out of electricity which increased the transaction fee to the level which is expected by no one but still the price bounced back when the normal hash is yet to come so we can expect further increase in BTC price.
3344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC price is affecting your? Tips and ideas you must know (for newbies as well) on: May 01, 2021, 06:53:15 PM
First, trading is not same as investing and you no need to be a rich person to start trading an investing which is really a contradiction from point of view.

BTC price movement is the the only reason why people are making money out of trading so if it is affecting you then try to analyze it better then you will also start to make some money then keep investing it to make more money.
3345  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Will crypto debit cards work even in restricted country? on: May 01, 2021, 02:11:03 PM
I am not sure is there any service offered in India because the crypto hasn't been positive to the government side in India for very long time but refill offers gift card service which can be used to buy most of the things in India if you have cryptos.

A warning notice sent by him in the indirect way why the Indian government should not ban the crypto currencies completely! Cool

I didn't know in what form the government accepted the donation, like who received the funds from him and how they are going to convert the money into their fiat?
You could look at it that way, but a donation is a donation. A lot of people have suffered in that second wave although the people are to be blamed for it too. If I recall, it wasn't directly donated to the government but to a foundation. Maybe they have a P2P exchange to do the conversion. Hopefully, more donations will come in after what Bret Lee did.
India is not a poor country! then why they need donations...

And Indian government never made any announcements regarding the collected PM funds in 2020 and where they spent it so it all goes to the pockets of some politicians not to the people who are really suffering so if anyone wants to donate then donate it to charity not to the government anymore!

3348  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: iranian governement and cyber police thinks that i am thief! on: April 30, 2021, 07:23:17 PM
Who is the somebody you bought bitcoins from and found that the same address took the bitcoins from your GF?

If it is from peer to peer platform then you can ask help from them to reveal the identity of the user, and the other choice is you paid cash right so you have the bank details means you can provide it as evidence and find the real person who scammed or hacked money from you.

Anyway the laws are not same in this world which varies from country to country.
3349  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Real time bitcoin rate ticker, that updates every second on: April 30, 2021, 06:23:28 PM
Good tool! but do we don't have choice to pick the longer time frame, AFAIK, it is only possible to get the price details of last 3 minutes which is very short span and if it is possible make it longer or give options to pick the time frame.

But why only Binance, if possible you can use the source like preev which shows average value of BTC in real time.
3350  Economy / Economics / Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin on: April 30, 2021, 04:11:12 PM
what do you think

You're going to have to offer some examples on this. I'm not sure what you're getting at, there are too many ambiguities. Perhaps you could link to some direct legislation and explain their effects?

For instance, Nigerian government made a recent policy that band  crypto currency and its usage in the country, they even went to the extent of blocking all accounts that have ever engaged in crypto transaction but what did that lead to,it made it to be scarce in the country and all those who had it inflated there prices by adding additional amount to it and it became the most sought after crypto and its only sold on peer to peer level now
Not clear enough. Does the price of bitcoin or any specific cryptocurrency in Nigeria higher than in other parts of the world?

In my country, the government only bans bitcoin from being used as a decent currency for payment. There is no legal protection for cryptocurrency investors if they encounter loss or cyber thieves. Nevertheless, bitcoin is freely traded without having any critical issue. The most surprising thing is that the price of any cryptocurrency (and usdt) is about 5 ~ 7% higher than the world price. I do not know whether it is because of the government law or it is a result of a free market.
When there is not much of competition in the market with low liquidity then the traders will set the prices higher than the actual market price and it happens on local exchanges and peer to peer platforms, while where cryptos are highly used and banks try to ban the exchanges then peer to peer is the only choice when the price will be too high than compared to normal prices due to increased demand.

Sometimes the replies of our thread won't be deleted but our post deleted just because it was reported and it ma feel like a biased decision but it may happen since moderator cannot analyze everything in a thread comparing to the number of repots they are getting every day.
3352  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bustadice Signature campaign on Btt ending on May 16th : Wow.... on: April 30, 2021, 01:43:46 AM
snip~
It is true that there will be no long-lasting campaign, which is certain that reaching 3 years is a very extraordinary thing for Bustadice because they have paid participants with high rates and with weekly bonuses that you shouldn't forget.
I think you have become an important part of Bustadice, of course you will be very happy because you have successfully promoted in this forum with professional manager @yahooo, therefore with this notification I think it is not the end of everything, maybe in the near future there will be new surprises again this forum. or contests that are held by so many other sites, well with this Bustadice will and we will continue to see Bustadice's endless promotions.
Exactly, I have been a participant of bustadice for 3 years now and made nearly 4K posts while wearing this signature which is really a great honor while lot of better posters are waiting for the spots to open. Everyone contributed for the promotion but never shill for it if I am not wrong, yes its great payment because you get the payments based on USD and at some point some members left the campaign when BTC prices went so high because the payment in this campaign looks too small at that time but they never thought that it will last long this longer. Cheesy
3353  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your bet? how many years could bitcoin go to its highest? on: April 29, 2021, 07:12:20 PM
Now I made very little researcher because the value for bitcoin went down.

Some said that the value of bitcoin will skyrocket in about 3-4 years. (I am sorry if I can't give you the source I forgot where I read that, but it is possible if you might find it is in one of the forums here. I just remember a topic that I think talks about "bitcoin go bullish" but mine is kinda different)

Now I am curious base on this chart what can you say? what is your bet? on how many years will bitcoin go bullish again. If bitcoin all sudden went down on the value of 3k? give me only one number of the year "don't go an a possibly 5-8 years"

For me, my answer and bet for this, from 2019 3k value to 2022. From 2019 it took 4 years it can go reach more than the value of 60k base on this chart from my point of view, How about you what is your answer? and why?

Give me one answer don't just tell me that "we cannot specifically tell that year that anything is possible"(As I do always say Grin but here I want your answer specifically, please )

Remember base on this chart and your own prediction, not the prediction that can found on the internet on various websites.

Literally, it can increase forever for multiple reasons.

First, lets take people adopted bitcoin and it is an accepted payment mode in this world so there is no reason for the demand to decrease in long term because every year the number of birth will be higher than number of deaths.

Next the fiat terms, fiat is highly inflated and its going to inflate forever so even if there is no increase in the demand for bitcoin the value of bitcoin still going to rise every year due to the inflation rate according to your country.
3354  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bustadice Signature campaign on Btt ending on May 16th : Wow.... on: April 29, 2021, 06:14:14 PM
No campaign is going to last long forever

this phrase must be repeated several times for politicians in Africa who love to stay in power until death
Sorry for the off topic but in politics its literally possible to hold the power as long as you are saying in the power and got enough money to make influence about you in the good position but only few people managed to do while its certainly possible in highly corrupted countries where money speaks everywhere.
3355  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bustadice Signature campaign on Btt ending on May 16th : Wow.... on: April 29, 2021, 04:36:50 PM
No campaign is going to last long forever, yes its a big surprise but an amazing journey which is very long, @devan clearly mentioned that this is only the end of the signature campaign not the site when lot of people speculated that bustadice is going to stop like what happened with yolodice.

The reasons also can be many, Bustadice become one of the biggest wagered dice crypto site so it doesn't need any promotions further and also got the reputation in bitcointalk so its like extra spend from their profits, who knows maybe after few years there will be a campaign for bustadice and bustabit from yahoo. 3356  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: coinbase assets not showing in coinbase android wallet on: April 29, 2021, 07:30:13 AM
How do I move assets between my Wallet and my Coinbase.com account?

Its an on-chain process which works same as any other transaction so you need to pay the miner fee.

Electrum can be used to store bitcoin but make sure you verify the signature is legit before moving funds from your coinbase.com account if you are not happy with coinbase or you can use multicrypto wallet like trust or coinomi which supports multiple coins and will let you to control your keys.
3357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction fees: send or wait on: April 29, 2021, 04:28:55 AM
The mining difficulty that will be adjusted will really help, but I noticed the mempool has being getting less congested, it even gotten to the extent the fee of 17 sat/vbyte were getting confirmed recently, and some blocks are mined even less than 2 to 3 minutes in such time (I noticed this yesterday and today).

It's just luck between some blocks, the pace for the last 24 hours is close to what is supposed to be
Quote
148 blocks in the last 24hours
Avg. time between blocks: 9 mins 44 secs
you can have 4 blocks in 10 mins and then half an hour without one, just as I speak 24 mins  Grin

And now blocks were mined for one hour as of now! Sad

Thanks OP for letting us know about the possible price drop but yesterday I was lucky because when the fee went down to 20 sat/byte I made some of the transactions which I put on hold for more than 2 weeks due to the insane fees. Smiley
3358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: not enough funds to swap USDT on: April 28, 2021, 06:43:19 PM
Everything is in Blockchain. But they have different wallets.
Private key and exchange ones. But my BTC, Eth and usdt they are all in Blockchain
BTC and usdt in my private key wallets. Eth in the exchange wallet

thank you so much for the help! I was FINALLY able to swap my usdt to btc......

the problem was that I was keeping my eth in the exchange wallet instead of the private one.., so after moving everything around, the problem solved.

By the way....walking away from blockchain since there is no point of keeping a custodial wallet with zero customer service....
You kept ETH in the wrong place which clearly shows how much ignorant you are about in the crypto space which isn't a bad thing but learn the basic things before having your cryptos, luckily you didn't lose your cryptos on any scam exchanges and fake wallets. Keeping your funds in the non custodial wallets is always recommended for higher security of your funds.
3359  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: April 28, 2021, 05:00:55 PM
Tesla takes profit from crypto investment and some stupid people aren't even bothered, like I always say even billionaires who invest in crypto are here for the profits no matter how long they chill and hype the coins, be smart people
Yes everyone is investing their money to make profits no matter who is that person so why someone should think that they are helping them too, it happens sometimes if you follow their strategies but build your own strategies to make your money instead of following others.
3360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Miners fee on: April 28, 2021, 03:56:17 PM
Alright, I sort of made it work!

I was sitting on mempool, and just saw the sat/vB getting lower. So I went on the Coinbase and BRD wallets, but was still no change. So what I did was download Bluewallet on the phone, import the wallets there and then the Low/med/high fee was corresponding with the ones on mempool. I didn't even have to touch the custom fee option as I got my transactions made for around 20-25 sat/vB each.. For less then 1 hour.

But just weird that the other wallets didn't really keep up on the fees :S

Oh well, anyways, thanks for everybody for their replies, tips, info and links about stuff to read!
If you want to make the cheapest fast transaction then custom fee is going to help you because as previoustly mentioned above, most wallet give miscalculated fee which is not corresponding to the the mempool so you can analyze the mempool on your won then set fees for the faster and cheaper transaction.

Few hours back I made some of the transactions at 21sat/byte which included in the next block itself but after that again the fee hiked up. I was lucky though to see the mempool at the right time. Cheesy

That's what exactly happened to me, I got 2 transactions done between 20-25 sat/byte and the last one I'm a bit stuck with as the fee hiked up at that time, but seeing as I'm not in a hurry it can take it's time Smiley

It's sweet to learn new web pages and info about this every single day!
You and we got lucky but today we can see significant decrease in the mempool congestion so now you got the advantage to make cheap transactions if you are doing it from your wallets, that is why it is important to keep the access of our funds in our hands now in exchanges.
