The belief in "chasing" will cause a punter to crash and burn faster than they would think. I've seen people "chase" at the end of a long night, only to end up losing even more than if they were to sit it out until the next day. The problem is that we are made to believe that we can upside the books, when in reality it's a very select few that come up ahead.

I like GOLDEN STATE to win the NBA FINALS, but I'm not too thrilled about the spread/line.
For today's MLB I like:
Houston Astros ML (-123) Risking .0246 to win .02
Washington Nationals ML (+105) Risking .02 to win .021
Colorado Rockies ML (-140) Risking .014 to win .01
Philadelphia Phillies ML (+156) Risking .01 to win .0156
|
|
|
Cleveland Cavaliers ML (-321) Risking .0321 to win .01
(480-317-6) +9.332 Bitcoins
Easy win and the chip stack keeps on getting bigger. Slowly but surely reaching that goal of 10 BTC.
Will be sitting out tonight as I expect Golden State to handle Houston with CP3 on the bench, but the spread and ML are way too much to back.

I think we will have a draw in regulation something like 3-3 and the series winner will be decided in overtime. I am thinking of betting Caps to score over 2.5 goals. I am gonna put something small on correct score 3-3 and also on the draw That was a very nice win for the Caps, as they should give LV all they can handle in the Cup! I'll prob be on LV come Monday, depending on movement.

Nice win for BOS at home the other night, going into game 6 tonight I'm taking a the home team and laying the juice-

After James and company handle business tonight, I'll more than likely be on BOS at home again to close out the series on Sunday.

If I found that it was necessary to stop in order to live a happier and healthier lifestyle, then YES I would 100% stop. Since this isn't the case, I'll gladly continue with my business and hopefully continue to stack more chips.

Who do you think will win the semi-final - Tampa Bay or Washington? I am tempted by Capitals in regulation @ 3. Any ideas?
I like the Caps because I think they're an overall better team and they are plus money. However, it's worth noting that Washington is overall 4-11 in game 7's, the worst for any NHL team in league history. So if you're going strictly off stats/trends, I'd take Tampa. But something tells me that history won't repeat itself tonight and the road dog will prevail. No play for me but good luck with whichever team you back.

Golden State Warriors 1st half ML (-252) Risking .0503 to win .02

Wow, didn't see that one happening nor do I think anyone else did. Sucks that the home teams can't win every single time at home, but that's why this is called gambling and what it's not for everyone.
No fear, time to make up for losses with tonight's NBA-

You know how the old saying goes: "The best time to buy in when there's blood in the streets!" As of today, I would definitely consider this one of the more bloodier days. Too bad I don't have any fiat laying around to purchase some cheap coins.

Very informative read and for the most part I side with everything you say. The problem with ICOs is that they will prob never go away, so the crypto community as a whole is going to continue to make aware which ICOs are legit and which are clearly scams.

Anyone buying BTC right now is it in for the long-run since we have already tested prices upwards of $20,000. So people who are still buying today see reason to believe that we will revisit that price.

Good luck with recovering any lost coins, as far as I know it's not possible. There are some services (on here even) that offer assistance for BTC recovery, but there is a hefty fee attached. You're almost better off just forgetting about the misplaced coins and worrying about acquiring more while the price is still low.

There's nothing wrong with a country having to pay taxes on crypto, in fact it's quite the opposite. Adoption will lead to regulation = taxes, that's just how life works. So in essence, this is a good thing. People need to learn to see through the dollars and cents in some cases.

Veteran investors are able to hold on troubled days because they see a light at the end of the tunnel, regardless when and where exactly that tunnel may be. Most investors understand that there aren't always going to be good days, and that when bad days come the best thing to do is wait them out.

Yes I believe in luck to a certain extent. For example when gambling, you can hope a specific care or dice comes up. But you can only be so lucky, most of the time it's the odds that decide the outcome.

100% the answer is no, regardless of what people may claim. There are some other alt coins that are truly anonymous, Monero and Dark come to mind.

FUD has caused me to dump coins in the past, which turned out to be an overly expensive sale. People also dump coins when they need money to pay bills or other things.

Bitcoin will be the last man standing if this all goes to hell and we all lose our money. I only think this because there is more money in Bitcoin then any other currency, also most volume.
