Why would anyone mine OR buy this coin please tell me what it has to offer?

Mods should be deleting / locking these threads and banning anyone that posts anything related to buying or selling accounts.
IDK why they would do that. It is not against forum rules to trade accounts.

You have a referral link to a website that you can rent hashpower from. There is 0 way that anyone could ever rent hashpower at a rate below what the rented hashpower can produce in mined coins (if they could then the rig owner would simply mine himself). The buyer will always get a bad deal. There are several legitimate reasons why people would want to buy a forum account.

Renting hash can be profitable and is handy if you don't have the hardware to mine an algo of coin you think could have potential.

I now only have sha-256 mining equipment but rent rigs for other algos if I see some potential in a newly launched non sha-256 coin (not very often I must admit).

Buying / selling established accounts could lead to newbies being scammed from a 'reputable member'.

Some people might say that's fair game and if they're stupid enough to trade without escrow then they deserve it, which in reality is true.
Renting a rig will always produce less then what you pay to rent it, otherwise the owner would not put it up for rent.

You can use purchased accounts to participate in signature campaigns to earn BTC, to avoid the posting limits, for the prestige of higher level accounts.

Some people leave their rigs on rental sites 24/7. I wouldn't be able to mine anything other than sha-256 coins if I didn't rent. As mentioned for me this is usually only the launch of a new coin I see some potential in.

Yes established accounts can be used for that reason, they can also be used to defraud.

I see more negatives than positives in selling forum accounts, you see more negatives than positives in mining rig rentals.

If you are genuine you need to accept that people will only trade nowadays when an escrow service is used, especially when you have a brand new account.

No escrow means no sales. There are far too many scammers around.
3351  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 30, 2014, 10:34:24 PM

I mined there because i believed in you like i believe in s0br and you proved to be OTHER THAN A MINING POOL you are merely a proxy and why should i pay you for that? You mean to tell me you pass on all profit to your users? LIE!... You are using people to make you profit and paying them what you think they should have. As soon as i leave your Multipool all of a sudden I start making money and I'm donating over 2% explain that. You know exactly what im talking about why run a proxy and call it a pool, that in itself is misleading. Multipool.us = ProxyPool.usury

Yes we pass on all profits from our upstream pool to our users, minus the 1.5% fee.  In our help page it states clearly that we proxy Bitcoin hash to an upstream pool.  All other ~40 pools we host run on our own stratum instances.

And yes, our payouts from cex.io have been on the low side lately which was why I started looking for another pool to begin with, among other reasons.  I'm sorry you had a bad experience.  It doesn't mean I'm not entitled to earn a living.

You certainly are entitled to earn a living.

Credit to you my friend you have answered all criticism with dignity and I wish you all the very best of luck with your multipool.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out here.
3352  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 30, 2014, 12:38:35 PM
Payouts seem ok now so I'm still mining here but this whole s3 business is a real cock up.

The sooner concrete evidence is provided that proves some of these s3's went to genuine miners and not fake accounts or people working for / with the pool the better.

If this cant be given soon then its obvious what's really gone on here.
3353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Mining profitability is a joke on: August 30, 2014, 11:37:50 AM
I dismantled and sold my gpu rigs 6 months ago, it was bad enough to make profit then but now I believe its even harder.

The only way I made a half decent return towards the end was to mine every new scrypt, x11, x13 or x15 coin immediately from launch hoping they might be worth something.

I would then sell as soon as they hit the first decent exchange as it seems most are worth more in the first few hours of hitting an exchange.

Problem with doing that is you spend a lot of time monitoring the forums and waiting on new coin launches, some of which had me waiting up all night and then turning into failed / re-launches. Some days I would go to work after only a couple of hours sleep, which is crazy.

The only positive thing about gpu mining is that I bought all my cards second hand and sold them on for similar money so hardware depreciation was minimal.

Now I have half dozen s1's split between 2 pools mining away in a spare room, they aren't making any money but they're keeping the chill off that room and drying our clothes. They mine about 0.02 - 0.03 btc a day depending on pool luck so just about covers the electric.

So I'm still in the mining game purely as a hobby but it doesn't rule my life anymore, I'm way past that, it just isn't worth it anymore.

I'm happy with the regular drip feed payments from this pool. Overall it seems to be working quite well now.

Shame the pool front page goes down for a short time immediately after a block is found, but that's not the end of the world Tongue.

3357  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 25, 2014, 12:51:41 AM
The lack of communication is the main reason I don't mine this pool anymore.

Users are left in the dark and with mining being borderline profitable its just not good enough.

The chance of winning an s3 has attracted many people including me initially but even the winners list isn't being updated on a regular basis.

Its a real shame, I had a good feeling about this new pool in the early days.

Easy.

We're all missing payments.

And you're criticizing someone else's forum habits.

Deep breaths. Stay frosty.

I know, I'm sorry. Had a bad few days not just today.

Missing payments are nothing believe me.

Breathe, breathe, breathe Wink.

sObr hasn't been online for 2 days now.

Website down.

Payments have stopped.

No communication.

I'm moving pools until things change.

I haven't gotten any payments since about 3am this morning.  This is very concerning to me.

Same here I've changed pools. There have been 2 blocks found today and nobody has been paid in that time.

just curious how much do you mine?

I only have 6 antminer s1's so small time hobby really why do you ask?

I reply and you go offline after 20 minutes?

"had a bad day?, yes I fucking have"
