It will be not an easy fight for Caleb Plant he needs to watch out carefully because he is not fighting an ordinary guy here. If he doesn't take this fight seriously he might end up getting powered by his opponent. Truax on the other hand should do everything to give his opponent the best fight he could ever have in his boxing career so he will have some strong will to beat Plant when they face in the ring. I also wanted to see Plant fight with Canelo Alvarez but since they didn't get the chance, I'll support him with this one.
One thing that will go against Truax is the age, and given the Plant is on the prime of his career, he might have a big chance to win against Truax. And Plant has has serious power also, I would not say he is techinical but he has the good to deliver a possible knock out everything he fight. Definitely a Plant win hear will have him in Canelo's radar and could fight maybe in September of this year. Canelo Alvarez is staying at this weight division and planning to unify all of the belts so a match between him and Caleb Plant is inevitable. All Plant should do here is to perform well against Truax to warrant a money fight with Canelo and should not take this one for granted. |

This should proved a difficult fight for Lopez, Australian boxer's are mostly rugged he might be cheated and get robbed by his throne. Just like what they did to Pacquiao. Perhaps if he can show his dominance in early rounds or atleast score a knockdown, this should be in the bag for him. The record of the challenger is quite impressive in my opinion.

Pulev, after seeing that Whyte vs Povekin 1, maybe thinks that Whyte is very beatable that is why he is taunting him to fight him. A fan of boxing here and well-knowledge especially on history but the funny part is, I'm not familiar with mandatory defense terms lol.
So who is picking up opponents here? The challenger or the boxing body? At some point, we see boxers challenging others to catch with the rankings.
During negotiations, means no other name involved in the process?
It's the boxing body that order the champion to fight the number 1 in their ranking, in this case, it's IBF who ordered the fight to happen and if Lopez will not heed IBF's call, then this sanctioning body will strip Lopez of it's championship belt. All boxing body do this as promoters of the fight will have to pay the sanctioning fee . This is what i have understand on that mandatory defense, correct me if i'm wrong. |

After watching the last fight of Garcia, I started to follow this young man and search the history of Garcia and that's an impressive record honestly. He's a confident boxer and that's why he keeps on challenging and keeps on building his name strongly. This is gonna be a hard match for Garcia because Davis is not an easy opponent despite of his records, looks like Garcia really wants to become the king of boxer soon.
Fighting Davis at this stage of his career is difficult indeed. He won his last fight against Campbell who is way below the level of Davis in terms of talent and yet he exposed the weakness of Garcia and that might be used against him if this fight will push through. Garcia has talent, no one will argue with that but being on the top of his division, he need to be patient and follow the advise of his team. Kambosos is the former sparring partner of Manny Pacquiao and he is a rugged fighter with a good knock out power, he is a good boxer but I don;t think he is good enough for Lopez, Lopez after beating Loma has become an elite boxer, I don't think the home crowd will annoy him and beat Kambosos, I'm on Lopez here he is in a prime of his boxing career.
Though he beat Loma, i think Lopez is young in terms of the number of fights and i can't consider him in his prime. With that being said, i will go for Kambosos as i'm sure the odds would be tempting to bet for him. Quality of opponents is still not a factor for me as the number of fights Lopez has had is still not that much. On that fight with Loma, i could say that he is good but the factor that made him won that fight was the inability of Loma to deliver what have had expected on him by the judges. |
