Does this mean i can use advanced mode without downloading the blockchain? Or will these settings apply in simple mode as well? OK. I'll try thank you! If your concerned about your transaction being traced I would wait until this issue is handled, using a remote node even if trusted is not recommended. If you don't care if the transaction ever gets revealed then go for it. If I was a devious person and wanted to attack the mindshare of Monero I would compromise trusted nodes and then insert a bug that herded people use those nodes. Then I would use that information to expose transactions and fud the project. I'm sure this isn't what happened but if you wear a tinfoil hat then this is a thought.

Bitcoin price is up 50% from the time we began the purchase of the Crypto Cruise Ship. As of 4:20PM GMT today, the MS Satoshi is now owned by Ocean Builders. The auction for the cabins is now open: https://oceanbuilders.com/auction-page/You can have a cabin on the Satoshi for less than 2 BTC. The official stamps for the ship have been made: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fscontent.fpac1-2.fna.fbcdn.net%2Fv%2Ft1.0-9%2F123261220_10158559091352850_6063737670934245614_o.jpg%3F_nc_cat%3D100%26ccb%3D2%26_nc_sid%3D8bfeb9%26_nc_ohc%3DqJDTXZl84doAX8gf79g%26_nc_ht%3Dscontent.fpac1-2.fna%26oh%3Dbcd2c252d9fb6af77a756d506aab5ee0%26oe%3D5FC999B4&t=664&c=vtalLjNYSEfA3A) You are a respected person with good reputation, please don't take my comment personally. But this cruise ship story sounds so unbelievable, it makes my scam detector go wild. anyway, great stuff. good luck! If Elwar is a scammer then I will have lost all faith in bitcointalk, you need to do some more research. I thought about grabbing one even though I got a buddy with a hotel I can goto anytime I want going up here. https://www.google.com/maps/place/San+Andrés/@12.5404561,-81.7392736,13z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x8f05a57a2812317f:0x39d7645f866b54c6!8m2!3d12.5450153!4d-81.7075787

So went down to the local bitcoin ATM to pick up a thousand in either litecoin or bitcoin. First the owner changed and now it only does BTC. Second their fucking buy price was $14,600 and sell price of $18,500. Fuck you does not begin to describe my thoughts on this matter :-)
Maybe it's time to go get a real exchange account tied to a real bank and passport and a sample of my nutter butter. For a US cit, what's the valid options these days?
I used Paxos as a test and had no issues whatsoever and received my corn within hours about a year ago with no fees.

How many times have we seen Monero sort of decoupled from the alts? It ran up on it's own a couple weeks back, and now is not joining in on the alt rebound.
Seems like this happens more often to Monero than others... then again it's a non-scientific subjective observation.
I am assuming there is a lot of sell pressure into which the alt rally is pushing?
Monere is decoupled from shitcoins and that is backed by science and math. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Stocking up on coins with no history, interesting. Doubt they care about history. Most likely subsidizing the electricity, then requiring miners to sell for their useless fiat. Pretty sure there's no need to mine if they were ready to buy with gold coins I'll let smarter guys than me Mull on this.

But yeah, in the midwest, folks really, really, bought the drug money hype in 2014. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) lesson learned Brad It gets quite old that they buy everything hook line and sinker they are fed. I guess they are so gullible because they are basically honest people but scumbags get to use that to their advantage,
