That's the last thing bitcoin needs.

what is? he didn't even say anything more than this plan BTC thing

It must be related to his Mega.co.nz (popular file-sharing website) switching to bitcoin payments, after paypal decided to no longer process their payments.

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/kim-dotcoms-mega-could-use-bitcoin-after-paypal-ceases-processing-payments-1489711

yeah, I suspected that. I just don't understand why he said that's the last thing that bitcoin needs.
more adoption is always a good thing.

@marcotheminer,

If I can ask you another thing, can you allow (count) again the post made in the local boards ? Maybe you can put a limit  of 25-50 posts in those local boards. What do you think?

Second thing:
Can you add a chat-box on the site www.bitsig.website?

Thanks again for the attention.
50 would be okay if it was for a month. People would abuse this too much I'm afraid. Even though there are some nice discussions there, the moderation is lower than in some other sections.
When are these changes going to be implemented?

I will make changes in a week or so.

I'm curious, will you exclude the Indonesian board like you said before?
I wouldn't prefer that to happen, but decision is decision.
3344  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: March 29, 2015, 09:13:33 PM

I still do not understand why primedice lags this much. They are the most trusted , most wagered dice game out there. Still keeps lagging. We know you paid the developer hefty plus some percentage , just tell him to fix this already...
Its probably just your computer. The site is not laggy at all for me and I use it on my phone, laptop, and desktop and it all runs fine. If however you are referring to the bets taking a while, they have a delay so you can't spam bet or autobet really fast. I believe its at around 1 second
yes, around a 1 to 2 seconds delay  Grin

not even 1 second here..
I think that's a problem with your PC/internet.

3347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your reasons for not accepting paypal for btc exchange on: March 29, 2015, 07:51:15 PM

well not anymore, because in January I issued a chargeback with my blockchain address as the part of evidence, and my paypal account is still kicking...
and no, I didn't scam anyone. the guy I was trading with is stalling me with nonsense talk so I did it.

"PayPal doesn't like bitcoin, as the bitcoin network is in direct competition to it. They will ban accounts that have anything to do with Bitcoins, and freeze their balance." Reference: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Buying_Bitcoins_(the_newbie_version)

Did you use Ebay for the exchange? I still wouldn't take the risk of using bitcoins when they are banning accounts for its use. It's too risky.

something about wiki that if there is no reference, don't believe all of it.
sure I know that paypal hunted down some bitcoin traders before, but there's been no such cases since last year.
and no, I didn't use Ebay.

I don't know why I'm arguing about this when I don't even use paypal anymore.. >.<

You guys care too much about faucets but when it comes to ponzis and other similar scams you made an entire sub section just for it, i will never understand it.

well, ponzis might make people use a freak load of money.
faucets made a lot of people waste their time while they can do other good things. faucets isn't worth a single thought, they just uses a lot of spaces.

Oh so you saying that ponzies are worth it? Ponzies are scam, faucets are giving you free money and ponzies are just stealing your money, i dont know how anyone would think ponzies are better than faucets.

yes, they are worth the attention. because they are dangerous.
and like I said, faucets are a waste of time. they give you less than a dollar for spending your entire day solving captchas.

I seriously dont understand your logic, ponzies are worth the attention? What? Faucets give you free money, they are for new people that start using bitcoins and want some free tosee how things are going, ponzies are a scam they are illegal, yes illegal you can report ponzi models to the authorities actually so i dont see how ponzies are better than faucets or why they have their own sub forum. Its like the sub forum to post your scam.

that's the whole point of making a new sub board for them. because they are mostly (if not all) scams, and the mods will never delete possible scams.

and I'm not going to repeat this again. faucets is a waste of time, reasons above. that's logical enough to me.
3349  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another scammer on 999Dice, entertaining to read convos by these people on: March 29, 2015, 06:47:14 PM
pretty much 60% of the guys there are scammer as far as I know. they'll begin by offering to multiply your coins or asking your skype ID and other things.
3350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your reasons for not accepting paypal for btc exchange on: March 29, 2015, 06:35:32 PM
If PayPal suspects that the user is trading with bitcoins, they freeze the account and hold the funds.

no they don't. if they do that then there wouldn't be people buying bitcoins using paypal on this forum

That's because people don't mentioned "Bitcoins" in their transaction note but if by mistake a member who sends PayPal funds for bitcoins and write that in the note, PP freezes that account as it's NOT allowed to exchange Bitcoins for PP.

well not anymore, because in January I issued a chargeback with my blockchain address as the part of evidence, and my paypal account is still kicking...

3353  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it illegal for me to sell my Bitcoins? on: March 29, 2015, 06:08:13 PM
SO basically you can't be a market maker but if you make an account at an exchange, sell it there and then withdraw the money , its legal?

yes.
to put it simply, it's just like any other currency. you only get arrested if you earned those btc by doing illegal stuff.
3354  Other / Meta / Re: how to stay logged in? on: March 29, 2015, 01:08:46 PM
you can select how long you will stay logged in when you are entering your username and password.
just log out, switch to "forever", and log in again

I think he is asking about total time logged in count.

I know there's a way to do it, as I once did it with an old account.

I've just looked through the settings loads of times under "PROFILE" for a way to set the length of time I stay logged in, and can't find it.

Use auto refresh for every 10 minutes, you'll be OK. I think forum logged-in timer cut down in 15th minute.

I don't why anyone would be interested about that.. but okay  Tongue

3359  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it illegal for me to sell my Bitcoins? on: March 29, 2015, 12:12:13 PM
People have been arrested for selling Bitcoin?
What country is it and could you put a link to where you read it?

you can get arrested anywhere on earth if they suspected you of conducting illegal activity (like money laundering)

what the hell? it's embarrassing when I learn that my country's authorities are so dumb..
yeah, I know about the drug trafficking punishment, and I think why not? they're screwing with everyone's life anyway.

Yes they were incredibly dumb to destroy so much good weed instead of smoking it themselves.

hmmm. why do you assume that they destroyed it all....? Roll Eyes
