Probability of break out in the next 4 hours: 55.6%
What's with everyone calling for a breakout right now? We just met the 3 month downtrend a couple days ago, and it takes a couple weeks to break out of a 3 month downtrend. It would make no sense on the chart if it just went up right now without any consolidation. Sense? You are still looking for sense in Bitcoin market moves?

I think everyone's being asked to donate rather than invest but you get Kickstarter style perks. Kickstarter themselves wouldn't take him on board.
Yeah, I thought so too. Doubt he'll collect much like that.

I'm starting to feel bullish, we're going down? ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) I'm starting to get a head-spinning amount of bullishness. Does anyone know the story behind this "ultra-coin" thing? -> http://ultra-coin.com/It's obviously not this -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=413978.0 so I'm guessing it's not a "coin" at all. I'm assuming that it's a wallet that writes code to allow for more exotic bitcoin transactions, and uses p2p network to allow users to connect to set up trades. It looks exactly like the decentralized, trustless exchange I've been dreaming about. Why have I not heard of this before and why is no-one else excited? Reggie Middleton is behind it. Looks promising. I don't understand the fund option. What do I get as investor?

It's a protocol on the top of Bitcoin, I think.

Bitfinex allow poeple to post walls without the funds to back them, when poeple buy into them they crumble insently do not pay any attention Bitfinex's order book. 59.99%Is this true? I heard this problem was fixed some time ago. Not saying they're real, though... they're not. i'm not sure, someone confirmed it a week or so ago on here, TERA i think. You still can use 4x margin so even if it is not true, you can make 10k wall with 2.5k btc.

Now everything is so boring... What is the biggest bid wall in terms of USD you ever spotted on an exchange? I think there was a 1.2 million wall once on Mt.Gox, but i'm not entirely sure.
This one? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FNVVjOLY.png&t=663&c=Ulg3KKgISJ2Zvg) I hope it got eaten, those balls deserve to be filthy rich.

The BTC Foundation’s Power Struggle
Loyal Idiots,
For those of you who have been regular readers, you know that it is incredibly rare for me to miss a Daily Bit. These past 72 hours have been among the most stressful of my life, and I have been betrayed by some of those within the industry whom I had trusted.
Either I was misled by my sources or my sources were misled by Peter Vessenes and Jon Matonis over the weekend. I reported on Sunday that they were stepping aside gracefully following their absent leadership during the Mt. Gox scandal. However, yesterday and today I received conflicting reports. One person close to Vessenes told me that not only does the man have no intention to step down as the Bitcoin Foundation’s Chairman, but he intends to run for reelection when his term is up later this year. I don’t know whether I can believe that is true, because it truly would be stunning.
Then again Rob Ford didn’t resign his mayorship either, and he made it onto Jimmy Kimmel.
(Vessenes did not respond to an email yesterday, and a contact number for the foundation redirected to a full voicemailbox.)
But that’s not what bothers me. What truly eats at my core stems from what has happened behind the scenes these past few days. Let me say simply that the failure in leadership across many other firms not named Mt. Gox is stunning. I will say no more at this point for legal reasons, but I can’t remember the last time that I was so professionally disappointed and discouraged by the willful neglect of those who many others would call leaders.
I now know better.
I must be meticulous with every detail that I report from both the Mt. Gox saga and now the incomprehensible mismanagement of the Bitcoin Foundation, a group created ostensibly to be the mouthpiece for an entire revolutionary industry.
Yes, I believe there is troubling circumstantial evidence connecting the two. But this gets into serious territory, and I won’t print it until I am 100% confident in what I am writing. I have been warned by others within the industry that I am now playing a “dangerous game” confronting “powerful” people who are “ruthless and cunning”.
Don’t expect me to blink.
Just please be patient. I won’t back down.
“TwoBit — AKA Ryan Galt — AKA Ryan Selkis seems a bit hot headed but his heart is in the right place. I’ve emailed him a little bit and he’s opinionated but he does go (hard) after facts. With his style he does intermingle opinions and facts and this can be off putting to some people (not my taste). That said, if you simply rewrote everything in his posts in paired paragraphs, one for the facts and one for his opinions, it might ruffle a few less feathers. While he’s (AFAIK) new to the community, he’s made some insightful contributions already.
Track record is everything in the fast moving world of Bitcoin; only time will tell the whole story. But I’m inclined to think his story will work out on the positive side. We shall see.”
-Fellow Lifetime Member Brian Goss on a Bitcoin Foundation Forum thread.
Cheers, TBI

After today's roller coaster, I am sure that no one cares to know that the Chinese Slumber Predictions for today, namely 3370 CNY for Huobi and 551 USD fo Bitstamp, were quite off the mark, by 680 CNY and 112 USD, respectively. So I will not tell you that.
You probably don't care to know either that since Huobi's clients were all in bed by 3:00 am, today is a True Slumber Point. It would be pointless to observe that, therefore, the previous trend is no longer valid. I am sure you don't remember me promising to never again deduce a trend from a single data point, so you will just ignore my doing so now and will pay no attention to my prediction that tomorrow Tuesday Wednesday Mar/05 at 19:00--19:59 we will have the same soup that we had today, namely 4050 CNY at Huobi, 663 USD for Bitstamp.
I think it's time that you quit the slumber stuff as one would bankrupt long time ago if he would follow that stuff, it's so crap and out off the mark ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Go back to school and you will know where Slovenia is. It seems it is leading country for cryptocurrency trading. Still waiting for someone else from respectful country like yours to show something better. Some have Hitler and Bosh, some have Bush and you, but we have Bitstamp.
Anyway, the 'glitch' was just the begining.
All your bitcoins are belong to us.
According to Wikipedia, Slovenia wasn't even a country until 1991, by which time I was out of school. It was part of Yugoslavia before that, which makes sense. Bitstamp code is to computer engineering as the Yugo was to automotive engineering. I mean, seriously, how fucked and out of this world and some general knowledge, one has to be to need Wikipedia to find out about Slovenia. But gues, it's not strange since Bush was on one meeting in Slovenia back at his president time and said - "I'm so glad to finally visit Slovakia." You Americans are such fucktards sometimes ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Wikipedia is a very useful tool. Like any info, if it is important you will cross check it with other sources. My maps all have USSR on them ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) It says nothing about my formal education, it means only that I am old and don't really have any reason to study Europe. I have no idea what the current divisions in Africa are either. So? Be assured that I will learn what I need to know before I visit there, since it will probably change three more times before I get there in approximately... oh, never. Yeah, I've added this to my post: And then there is that - we don't give a shit about anything that is out of America so we don't have to know about it (unless there's oil there :p) BTW, you guys are obsessed with Russia. I got "is that Russia?" question many times when talking about two countries I live(d) in - Croatia and Bosnia. And that was pretty close after the wars there that were all over TV's around the world. Erm, I don't have idea where it is, it must be in Russia ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

BTW, back to speculation...
Again, I don't have a bloody idea where is this heading.
$180 by Friday. Adam, can you confirm this?
