Hi guys, i have a problem with a rig consisting of 6 rx 580 8gb. the pc had crashed (black screen) when restarting it did not load windows anymore. disconnecting all the cards will restart quietly. i tried to reinstall windows, new amd drivers but nothing. has this ever happened to you? I know that an update has passed and with the new drivers it does not support them

If you love Windows, then use the 2019 versions with disabled updates, or switch to Hive OS. Install a minimal driver package, only drivers. But I constantly had problems with mining farms on Windows with AMD 470, 480,570 and 580 video cards. |

I think around 30-35mhs for 70W  You think? Very hard to believe that 3050 will be this powerful, the only Nvidia card that can do 30-35MH is 1660 super, the normal 1660, 1050 and other **50 are weak graphic cards yeah but it is not 1050 or 1650. RTX 3060 has 192bit can do 48mhs. this little fella has same memory only 128bit so i think 30-35mhs will be actual. And LHR restrictions for this card will be relevant? It will be a huge joke if the RTX 3050 mines ethereum with a hashrate close to the performance of the RTX 3060. If nvidia decided to make an 8 GB card, then I think that the miners will have enough problems with this video card. |

@FP91G you do believe that the Ethereum POS is really coming and PoW mining will end? How certain are you? If this happens it will affect other coins as well because their difficulty will surge I doubt they will remain profitable

Fellas, do we have some actual numbers for 6500xt on some coins ? ETC/CLO/Flux... Is it much worse than 6600xt ?
If the experts did not test these video cards in mining, then everything is sad Don't rush to buy these video cards unless for $200, but 4 GB and 64 bit bus makes me not want to buy this video card even for $200. I would wait for mining tests. |

I have a few old rigs running and mining ETC easily,I am on Windows 10 and they are doing so from many years now.Lately I have a problem where the Rx 570 driver is not recognized although it installs well and detects my Rx 570 cards.I tried DDU Uninstaller,tried every possible version of drivers yet nothing,when I click refresh it doesn't show the AMD control center at all,the device manager shows the cards with yellow exclamation mark and even if I restart or use the ati patcher is the same.I guess the only reason now to go back to working is running a system restore but what would be another suggestion for this?

My mining farms are also far away, but closer than yours. I spent a lot of time and money on trips and gasoline, so I will tell you that Hive OS is much better than Windows in mining. The most desperate solution is to flash the original BIOS remotely and install the latest drivers. You will lose in hashrate, but maybe the farm will still work. |

I don't understand what did you do? If you have changed the BIOS settings, then download the latest version from the official site, if you did not make a backup before changing it. If you changed the settings using programs, then set the default settings. Are you worried about the temperature of the memory or video chip? |

I've never buy or used palit and gainward GPU brands before and Im not sure how good they are, if you are using this brands pls kindly say something about them, are they just like MSI and Gigabyte? Cos MSI and Gigabyte are more popular here than others so most of my GPU brands are MSI and Gigabyte
I think that the problem is not in brands but in video card models. I often met poor quality fans with Palit, but MSI had more bad fans, because I have a lot more MSI video cards. If the warranty is 36 months, then you should not refuse to buy palit and gainward. |

specifically those cards are the worst for mining… with just a 1080ti you are having the same mh as a 3060 and consuming as if you have a 3060 and a 1660s connected.
The RTX 2060 was bad at mining ethereum, and the RTX 2060 super gave the same result as the RTX 2070. The RTX 2060 super came after the RTX 2070.
