3341  Economy / Services / Re: SMS BOMBER!!!!! CRASH YOUR FRIENDS' PHONES! PRANK CO-WORKERS! on: March 23, 2015, 07:07:17 PM

There are better ways to revenge your enemy instead of spamming his mobile or communicator.
He can change number and login - and your revenge is gone.

:-)

Have you heard about someone who changed number just because sms spam? I haven't. And I think it is pretty nasty revenge, majority of people are eating, sleeping and basically living with their mobile phone. Also 10.000 messages is pretty great imo.
3342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 stages for bitcoin on: March 23, 2015, 06:49:49 PM
Xapo guy said in the conference that Bitcoin would replace gold as the standard, but that it would not replace national fiat currencies. Pretty wild but it was well reasoned. We'll see.
You know who also said something similar to this? Josh Garza from GaW. And we all know what happened to him and his company now. Personally I think virtual goods NEVER gonna replace anything 'real' Gold is here to stay.
3343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't the government leave Silk Road open... on: March 23, 2015, 02:42:16 PM
...to allow people to withdraw their coins?

The government doesnt opperate on a level of care like that.  Nobody really has the power in the government to slow down any process.  Once "bad" actions have taken place its all hands on deck to make things "right".
There is no "right" in criminal activity. Do you think that government will allow people to withdraw their bitcoins? After all they know people used it to buy illegal stuff? What kind of government allows criminals to 'take their money and go home'?
3344  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: March 23, 2015, 02:21:04 PM
This is what bitcoin is not exactly stable and overall secure. Minor lack of electricity and all your money is gone with the wind. I would sell all my bitcoin when I would know for sure that there will be major dump incoming. Then after selling it all I would immediately buy more of it. Other than that hodl!
3345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Everything bitcoin in baby language on: March 23, 2015, 02:09:04 PM
I like how Op have only 2 posts here on bitcointalk. First is his original post from september 2014 and now we have an updated version of his article.
I read your article Op and I have to say it is some nice stuff. It is definitely good introduction to cryptocurrency world. It is nothing fancy and advanced, but is is something I would recommend for total newbies. Too bad it is only in english. Maybe if I have some time I would translate this...
3346  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: i want create company . on: March 23, 2015, 01:54:14 PM
You guys are just all worked up and giving op a somewhat serious answers. Don't you see he is just trolling you? How possibly he could create anything when he has no clue about creating simple sentence? And how you all jumped to conclusion that he would like to create mining company? He did not tell you what kind of 'company' he had on mind. It will be better to close this topic now.

The fact that the guy doesn't speak fluent English doesn't say anything about his business skills.
Of course not! I bet he is really intelligent and capable person. I am very proud that no one here said anything about his english skills so far and I am a bit ashamed to do this myself. But, for example - my english is far from good as I am not native english speaker. But if someone creates topic and put NO effort in his opening post - what could I think? So I assume he is not serious about creating anything really. Disregard my ranting if you feel that is not the case here.

3348  Economy / Economics / Re: US Dollar collapse in 2015? on: March 22, 2015, 05:23:55 PM
I've seen this 'dollar is dying' trend many times before. But in reality I don't think it will happen anytime soon. Dollar will be number 1 currency of the world. And won't collapse soon certainly not before China will be really ahead of US economically wise. Then maye yuan will take place of USD as global mainstream currency.
3349  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: March 21, 2015, 09:57:44 PM
Girl?? is that a new currency?

no, it is a new way to lose all your money and your head.

I vouch for this my last chick took both my money and some of my sanity i had left / Also my computer and usb with some of my alts on i was not impressed to say the least.
Luckily it was encrypted so her and whoever she is now with cannot touch a single coin makes me feel a little better, so this girl wanted to use bitcoin but could not get it to work hehe but i am sure other girls can and do use it.

She probably left you because you have a small penis. As for your encrypted alts, she probably stole your password and spent them without you realizing.
Omg, this is the best comment I read today. But I am just curious about that lost coins, how much it was? It was only alt coins, so this wallet is now probably worth less than dirt. And if she stole it that proves women can use cryptocurrencies! On more serious note I just realized that I need to encrypt my wallet in case something like that happen to me in the future.
3350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think Ethereum or counterparty will be solution to all these bitcoin heist! on: March 20, 2015, 06:44:40 AM
You should start writing new Gospel Op. Gospel of Deus Ex Machina... But I would like to back to the topic here. You think that Ethereum is the panaceum
for all that is happening in bitcoin's world? It it true that bitcoin is foolproof but various satellites services of bitcoin can be used to scam people.
You think that people can't be trusted, ok I understand that. But people are made all these projects possible. And Ethereum is at so early stage of development that it needs to be monitored and tested. After some time we will be able to see if it is really that good and gamebreaking project.
3351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Regulation The End For Bitcoin? on: March 20, 2015, 06:28:22 AM
Regulations are real, check this:

U.K. TREASURY TO REGULATE DIGITAL CURRENCY & BITCOIN,

HM Treasury, the U.K. government’s economic and finance ministry, intends to apply anti-money laundering regulation to digital currency exchanges in the U.K. as part of a plan to promote the legitimate use of digital currency. The goal, according to a newly-released 28-page document, is to support innovation and prevent criminal use. - cryptocoinsnews.com https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/u-k-treasury-regulate-digital-currency-bitcoin/
3352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any Tips for getting a Start with Bitcoins? on: March 20, 2015, 06:19:11 AM
the easiest way is to go to cryptothrift.com (or any other marketplace) and sell stuff/skill. Also, check out the services sub here, a signature campaign can generate some nice bitcoin too.
Signature campaign are nice source of bitcoin indeed. But he is just a newbie. He need to be at least full member to start earning something decent.
And than mean 120 Activity tick. Op if you want to earn now from signature campaign you may want to buy additional bitcointalk account. And start earning now. But beware of scams, many accounts on the market are on the verge of ban/right after first/second ban period.
3353  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, stay away from altcoins. please on: March 20, 2015, 06:14:06 AM

Don't gamble any of your coins. Don't believe any investment site. Keep your coins on your own secure trezor/cold wallet etc. Come back in 5 years and profit Cheesy
And what is your solution for people who NEED to spend their conin here and now to survive? Like me? I want to hold everything or at least 99% of it.
But I need to sell bitcoin every month just to pay my bills. In the future I would be crying out loud when it will turn out that I sold value of bitcoins worth 1 million USD?
3354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A potentially very stupid question.... on: March 20, 2015, 06:08:50 AM
It'd be very interesting to see how things would have turned out if you got a smaller amount of coins per block in the beginning.
It would not change our general perspective I think. It would only made mining bitcoins slower and we would have less bitcoins available today in circulation today. But remember that at the beginning bitcoin was considered just an experiment. No one knew if it will be successful or not.
3355  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current CRASH of 18/3-2015 on: March 20, 2015, 05:04:43 AM
It is funny how Evolution with its revolutionary system to prevent scams: "The site gained users’ trust by offering a feature known as “multi-signature transactions,” designed to prevent exactly the sort of bitcoin theft its administrators are now accused of. (That system, would require at least two out of three parties in a transaction—the buyer, the seller, and Evolution’s administrators—to sign off on a deal." Turned out to be scam. Thank you Evelution for shaking bitcoin price. But I think price downfall will be short. Price will drop to $250 max.
3356  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 20, 2015, 04:59:18 AM
Definitely time to buy some bitcoin. This drop was a nice indication of price correction. I think price’s next move will tell us something
about the direction of the larger trend bitcoin will follow. But like I said. Definitely good time to buy, price might rise fast again.
3357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs Report Says Bitcoin Could Shape 'Future of Finance' on: March 20, 2015, 04:27:09 AM
Goldman Sachs ends up destroying many of the things they promote, but they will not be able to do that to Bitcoin.
Bitcoin in a way is very similar to internet. You can't destroy internet as a whole. But you can make awful websites, provide idiotic services and start questionable project linked with internet. So I am now worrying that something like that can happen to bitcoin now.
3358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of system would it take for you to regard it as a threat to Bitcoin? on: March 20, 2015, 04:22:07 AM
If Ripple was much more user-friendly (for non-tech people), then they could have been a real threat to Bitcoin. The way they are (or were last time I checked), they will never grow past a small % of the potential user-base.

Yeah, I agree with you.  Facebook started losing its popularity when old people started using it.  Facebook is still big, but it's just not the same, which is why people have moved onto Twitter and other social media sources, because older people have no idea what the hell the point of Twitter is nor how to use it.  When your user base becomes full of idiots with money, it's going down the drain.
I didn't check Ripple. Is their system that complicated and counter intuitive than normal windows user is not gonna crack it? I seriously doubt it is that hard.
I am gonna check that out later.

How old are people who use Facebook now? 40,50,60 year old, and you are claiming that they are killing facebook popularity I don't think so. I don't think you can compare Facebook with Twitter, these services are not gonna compete with each other in a direct way.
3359  Economy / Services / Re: A small survey for 0.005 BTC on: March 20, 2015, 04:13:20 AM
I am just a Member and I haven't trade options on your site and I am having a sig. now so I can't join Sad
But I checked Op's campaign and it is nothing special. To be honest payment he is offering is below average. You will do better if you enroll to bit-x when you reach full member status. Or if you don't post that much to some campaigns with this rule - 50 posts per month for 0.5 BTC for full members - as there are couple of these on our forum.
3360  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Quantum computing on: March 19, 2015, 12:00:56 AM
If you read some more about quantum computing you will learn that it is not easy let's "upgrade technology and we are ready to go".
From what I learned quantum computers would be insanely fast, but also very inaccurate while being fast. Basically they are making mistakes,
little deviations which are very big problem for now. And I don't know if scientist solved this already or if this flaw is even possible to overcome.
