3341  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 12, 2022, 06:26:47 AM
No one knows, but maybe we can hope that it will come within the next 10 days (at max) as we got December monthly bonus in the beginning of the month so I believe we will get it before 15th.
That means even bigger monthly coupon since last 45 days wager will be accumulated for this bonus.  Btw, 15 January is Saturday, usually no coupons are released during weekends. Probably 1 or 2 days before mentioned date.
Now it seems like, monthly bonus will be released before the 15th January. The users are eagerly waiting for the monthly bonus. See the recent tweets of Stake twitter account, all of the users are asking for the monthly bonus by making a reply. Maybe they will release it in next three days.

Yesterday we received pre-monthly bonus and this makes me change my thought that monthly bonus will be released before 15th. Usually monthly bonus come after 1 up to 2 weeks from the pre-monthly. It seems that the monthly bonus will come after 15th, perhaps after 17th but for sure it is just a speculation.

DOnt understand why they gave a pre monthly instead of the monthly but all these decisions often make no sense.
Now monthly wont come before 19th as its often middle of the week when they give it. Thats almost 50 days since the last one then.

Well, why complain about the pre-monthly and the delay in the Monthly.. if you get a pre-monthly? Eddie has often said that a pre-monthly is not a given... sometimes it happens and sometimes it does not. Just be grateful that a pre-monthly was given and that you still get some money back from the Weekly /pre-monthly/Monthly/Post-Monthly whenever it is given.

These things can be taken away at a drop of a hat and then there will be something people can complain about. I am just glad that Stake are paying us these bonuses.  Wink

Ps.. The 15th is on a Saturday when we get our Weekly... so my guess is that the Monthly will be paid out between the 16 and the 18th.
3342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fear and Greed index. Don't time the market! on: January 12, 2022, 06:00:27 AM
I think ...if you experienced the price drop from $18 000 to $3000 back in 2017 or after that... you cannot be called a newbie anymore. A lot of people thought that the price will go down to zero back then and it was panic stations all around. The die hard Bitcoiners stuck to their guns and they Hodled right through that.

The reward..... $60 000+ Bitcoin price in 2021  So, what have we learnt from that? ...Answer : Do NOT panic .... hodl for long-term profits, not short-term losses.  Wink
3343  Economy / Economics / Re: 12% of First-Time Homebuyers Say Selling Crypto Helped Save for Down Payment on: January 12, 2022, 05:27:40 AM
I can tell from personal experience that 5 of the people I introduced to Bitcoin and Alt coins, have used their profits to pay for cars and also for a down payment on the deposit for a new house.  Wink  Two of these people have never owned a property before and the home loan does not cover the full cost of the property.

They told me that if it was not for the profits that they received from those Crypto currency trades, they probably would have never had accumulated enough money for those deposits. I am just glad that my advice and guidance made a difference in their lives and that it helped to put a roof over their heads.  Wink
3344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Establishment of an organization for victims of Bitcoin fraud. on: January 11, 2022, 06:21:44 PM
I think it will be more helpful to create groups that will fight these scammers. You create a site like https://badbitcoin.org/ ..where people can report scams early ..and then this group can hit Social media and they can try to stop people from falling for these scams. (Awareness of the scams will prevent the tears and loss, which will void the need for groups dealing with the consequences of these crimes)

There can also be groups focusing on hunting down these criminals ...like White hat hackers and also people with Blockchain forensic analyses skills.  Wink    "We Police our own Crimes, because we are the experts"   Grin
3345  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetGalaxy 2.0 Whitepaper Released - LAUNCH IN JANUARY 2022! on: January 11, 2022, 12:37:32 PM
Ok, so if you are not selling the token and if there are no utility (demand) for the token, what actually give this token it's value? Most of these projects are linked to tokens with limited supply and also a demand for the token to increase it's value.  Huh

The way I look at this is a lot similar to a bonus system for wagering X amount at other casinos. Let's take Stake.com as an example... you get a small percentage of your wagering back from the Daily/Weekly/Monthly that are paid out by the casino. (So with this site, players still get a small percentage back from the tokens they earned from wagering)  Roll Eyes
3346  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: do we need SHA-512? on: January 11, 2022, 09:24:37 AM
Ok, might be a stupid question .... but some people said that the solution for the future to counter the threat of Quantum computing, would be to implement SHA512 or something stronger... was that just a popular misconception then?

If it is stronger and the output are more or less the same and it is faster.....  why do we not use it then? There must be a down-side to this for it not to be upgraded? (More hashing power needed to hash it or a whole new ASIC development?)
3347  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Send faxes anywhere in the world with lightning! on: January 11, 2022, 06:55:10 AM
The nice thing about traditional fax machines are the "proof of send" that are generated.. after the fax was send. In my work.. we have to send reports to our Head Office on a regular basis and they also require us to send them the "Proof of send" via Vax. (Some of the remote offices do not have Internet and email ..so they rely on faxes for those reports)

It is an outdated technology, but when the Internet fail or if you do not have the infrastructure for it... then faxes on copper telephone lines will solve the problem. Will this work without Internet access .... or does this send directly to fax machines?

Also, remember the fee is per page.... so it can become very costly if you send something with a lot of pages.... where the cost of the traditional faxes locally are very inexpensive.  Wink
3348  Economy / Economics / Re: Peter McCormack: 'Bitcoin has WON the war on money'. Do you agree? on: January 11, 2022, 06:28:51 AM
You have to understand how Peter McCormack work.. to understand why he says things like this. He likes to "trigger people" in his own words... or like he said, “just f—ing winding people up” .....so he will say something controversial to spark a debate.  Roll Eyes

The guy is a bitcoin investor and podcast host focused on Bitcoin, so he will not be biased in his opinions and statements towards Bitcoin. He even purchased professional English soccer club Bedford FC and become its chairman to use it as a marketing tool to promote Bitcoin.  Grin

In my opinion... we have won 1 small victory in El Salvador.. but Fiat money still rule the rest of the world.  Roll Eyes
3349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin has value in the market? Some food for thought! on: January 11, 2022, 05:30:40 AM
Well, other fiat currencies are also digital and it can also be send internationally via remittance companies like MoneyGram and Western Union, but the difference is this. Bitcoin is decentralized ...so no central authority can stop your payments or money transfers from one address to another.....and it is much faster and cheaper.  Wink

Yes, scarcity has an influence on it's value, but it is not the main reason why people are buying it. We say, "Be your own Bank with Bitcoin" ...and that gets value, when Banks and other centralized financial entities start misusing their power. (Example : Credit card companies stop payments to PornHub / Backpage / Wikileaks etc..)
3350  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project Idea - Decentralized Twatter on: January 10, 2022, 01:06:10 PM
The question is..... If Twitter and other Social media platforms are FREE to use, why would people want to use a new platform, where you have to pay to send messages? The decentralized nature of this idea, will make it harder for "authorities" to take it down and also for hackers to hack it, but some centralized platform has to be created to collect the data and to make it easier for recipients to receive it. (This will once again defeat the purpose of decentralizing this platform, because the centralized data collectors will be targeted)

How will you monetize this to pay for expenses to run these centralized platforms? Will this come as donations or advertising.....?
3351  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVest, The worst casino I have ever seen on: January 10, 2022, 12:04:08 PM
I hope they are not in any way affiliated with the large company called, BidVest with more than 132 870 employees.  Roll Eyes  I know the site name is spelled slightly different (BitVest) ..but it's pronunciation is almost the same.

The real BidVest site even have a Bank called Bidvest Bank ....so they are doing very well in Africa. THE BIDVEST GROUP LIMITED is an international investment holding company listed on the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa in the Industrial – Support Service sector, with subsidiaries listed on the London, Australian and Luxembourg stock exchanges.
3352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's never too late to start on: January 10, 2022, 06:27:19 AM
Ok, guys.... OP has posted this many months ago and he has not even responded to any of the answers and advice that was provided in his thread. I reckon he sold his 9 Ethereum coins at a profit for $30k and he quit Crypto currencies.

So there is no need for people to post anything new in this thread, because he simply abandoned the thread after he probably sold his coins.
Can one of the moderators please close this thread, because it served it's purpose.  Wink
3353  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What the fuck does binance want? on: January 10, 2022, 06:04:50 AM
Binance and Coinbase are basically Banks and they have very strict KYC requirements. I personally think some of these requirements are overkill and it is easier to acquire a Bank account, than signing up to these exchanges.  Roll Eyes

I opted to go with a lesser known local exchange with less complex verification processes and also a less strict ToS to adhere to. Some of the larger exchanges will even "block" your account if you use Mixer services and if you deposit coins into well known Crypto casinos.  Roll Eyes

Having tried this, my overall experience was quite disturbing. I always search for Free Spins to be redeemed without making a deposit as it is my nature. Having found Riobet Casino through your review, I immediately made my move with 15 Free Spins and managed to convert it to $22 but the problem is, I can't play more with this Bonus.

It's fine to have wagering requirements, but why do they ask me to deposit first when I already have my bonus funds? Isn't $22 enough to play a few rounds of slots?

Well, the answer is quite easy.... The casino hope that the receiver of these bonuses will continue playing and eventually lose the money that they received for free. In your case, you won money from their money and they do not want that to happen.

So, to punish you... you have to deposit some of your own money to hopefully get back the money that they gave you. (usually with some wagering and withdrawal restrictions)  Roll Eyes
3355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you have a chance to become a VIP what casinos will those be on: January 09, 2022, 07:41:02 PM
Well, I have 3 favorites .... namely : https://duelbits.com/casino / Stake.com / Bitcasino.io and I have to say, it will be a difficult choice, because all of them are good for ranking up.

I will not go for more than one, because it will take a load of money to rank up on 2 or 3 casinos... so choose one and stay with that one. I have to say, I was a bit bad luck with Stake.com .... because they reduced VIP perks just before I ranked up to platinum levels.  Angry
3356  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 09, 2022, 06:35:27 PM
During one of Eddie's stream sessions... he introduced the new "Challenges" option and he said that only certain people are granted privileges to start new "Challenges" ... so yes, not everyone can do it.

It would be nice if the HighRollers and the big tippers could get access to this function.... because it is better to earn your bonus..than simply getting a $1 or $2 rain or tip. (Also.. the challenge creator might get some benefit from this)  Wink
If everyone had a chance to start challenges, then they would be able to do ranging from few dollars to thousands of dollars and it would definitely see Stake doing better as well in return. I would imagine not spending a single dollar on a challenge and just letting customers create their own and just automate the results based on who did how and so forth (or even just hiring a few new staff to follow it up instead of automating) could end up with Stake getting a lot more attention.

Imagine if there were dozens of challenges every single day that you could check and decide which ones you want to do, that would make gambling so much better for many people that enjoys that kind of stuff.

Well, there must be some kind of criteria to determine who will be able to create challenges or random people will create 100's of $5 challenges and that will irritate most gamblers. That is why I think they should enable this for most High Rollers that meet some kind of wagering limit and also specify that you cannot create a challenge... if the reward is say smaller than $100.  Huh

In any way...... there has not been a significant increase in the challenges, since I posted this.. so nobody seem to care about this feature.  Roll Eyes
3357  Economy / Economics / Re: The crisis in Kazakhstan. Entering the occupation troops. Impact on the crypto on: January 09, 2022, 01:50:14 PM
I think you have to look at China and what happened when they banned Bitcoin mining to answer your question. The moment when the mainstream media started to distribute the news that China banned Bitcoin, the Bitcoin price dropped significantly ...but it recovered soon after that... because the world saw that a Bitcoin mining ban did not destroy Bitcoin mining.

You should remember that China had most of the hashing power in the world at the time, so the impact was supposed to be devastating. So, Bitcoin mining in Kazakhstan has +/- 15% of all the hashing power in the world.... and that is significantly lower than the hashing power that China had.

My prediction.... The Bitcoin price will take a small drop and it will bounce back.... and the miners in Kazakhstan will probably just move some of their operations to Bitcoin friendly countries.  Wink
3358  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 09, 2022, 12:05:11 PM
Even in my case there was a person whom I met in a Facebook group but never in real life and he introduced me to bitcoin.
I made a huge dive into the bitcoin world and here I am 5 years later living a decent life all thanks to that person and ofcourse bitcoin.

Freebitco.in is indeed a legendary gambling site. I think it's the only site I know which has been paying it's users free Satoshis all these years.
No strings attached and just free Satoshis. Truly a legend !!
I wish I got affiliates like you guys, mine usually leave, 99% of the time. I mean surely they stay for a few months at least but only like 1% of them stays active after they join until today, rest just leave unfortunately, and never really got any decent gambler out of it neither, just free faucet folk I assume.

All in all freebitco.in was something I loved doing affiliate work because of that exact reason, it is a great way to enter the world of crypto, you will get a small amount at first but do it for a whole month with like 12 times a day and you will end up with a decent amount and get out. After that you could invest that into some tokens, some new projects, or try to earn something from somewhere else to add on top of your current balance to grow. No matter what you do afterwards, it is amazing for a start and definitely offers a lot more if you keep going.

If we are talking about affiliates then my luck is same as yours. Even I am not so good at getting referrals.
Which ever referral I got was years ago and none of them are active. I have got 5 referrals in total and have earned 0.00015 BTC from them.
But as I said, all of them were years ago and none of them are active. I have even stopped sharing referral link now since nobody joins through referrals these days.

I share your experience.... I had some banners made to advertise my referral link on other platforms and I am not getting "active" hits anymore... because they signup and try the faucets a couple of times and then they stop using the site.  Roll Eyes

I should say that Freebitco.in should add more gambling games (Slots) to make it worth people's time to stay on the site. They decided to change their business model to a "gambling" site and have not done a full transition yet. (Adding Sports betting and Lotto etc.. is not 100% gambling)
3359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a commodity market ? on: January 09, 2022, 10:07:25 AM
Well, most governments define Bitcoin and Crypto currencies as Commodities, because they want to protect their Fiat currencies from disruption. All other Fiat currencies can be traded as Commodities (Forex Currency markets) and the same goes for Bitcoin... so it is a Currency and it can be traded as a Commodity.  Wink

Satoshi just showed the world what will happen if it is only traded as a Commodity... which is not the route most of us wants this experiment to go. (It will be much better if it is a currency, because it will generate miners fees and that is the oil of the whole Bitcoin eco system)  Wink
3360  Bitcoin / Press / [2022-01-08] Mirror Trading International (scam) CEO Johann Steynberg got caught on: January 08, 2022, 08:00:13 PM
https://mybroadband.co.za/news/cryptocurrency/429388-how-mirror-trading-international-ceo-johann-steynberg-got-caught-and-what-happens-next.html

"MTI was a bitcoin-based investment scheme that Chainalysis named the biggest cryptocurrency scam of 2020."

"Steynberg went missing in December 2020, and the scheme collapsed. He was believed to be travelling in Brazil at the time."

Well, I hope they can retrieve some of the bitcoins that was stolen, because a lot of people lost money in that scam. I find it funny that these scammers think there are no extradition in these 3rd world countries and that they are safe there.  Grin Grin Grin
