3341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 12, 2021, 11:25:48 PM
Meanwhile, JMF is now grieving the death of his mother, probably we will not see him return soon.

As part of the country's protocol, the funeral should just take up to 2-3 days.

He can still be with the team when the league returns on 21st. And I think he will be more motivated to play rather than to sit in the corner. He is super close to his mother so he won't show any signs of just sitting in the corner and mourns as for sure, his mother won't like that.

Back in the league, PBA teams told to prepare for possible bubble anew. I wonder why they used the word "possible" meaning there is no 100% plan for now? Anyways, reading the article, there's no mentioned date unlike in the previous news that the return will be on August 21st.
3342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs, DEFI, NFTs, - what's next? on: August 12, 2021, 11:06:52 PM
any ideas what could be the next big thing after the three before which we saw over the years?

That is something you can't predict or so. Just wait for the next "BIG" thing.

For now, try to take a ride with something hype with caution as in any trend, there is always a mole that wants to take advantage of people. There are scams everywhere either in ICO, DEFI, and NFTs. If not scam, they are underperforming and just want to take people's money then eventually will stop their development.
3343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 12, 2021, 10:57:04 PM
I think it's time now to close the thread for any discussions regarding Pacquiao and Spence Jr.

We won't have any information for this until next year as early, I believed.

Let's continue the discussion of the new changes on Pacquiao's August 21 bout here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5354098.0;
3344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions should never be traded. on: August 12, 2021, 10:45:19 PM
As a result, anytime you need to invest, put a tiny percentage of your portfolio into it. As a result, even if the market falls, you will still have your portfolio. Never trade based on your emotions. Calculate carefully before investing.

It's fine to trade with emotions during newbie days even it will result mostly at loss. And honestly, pros and experts are being like that too. No one can avoid that as that was a part of human nature.

Why? I'd rather see newbies experience that because that will be their foundation to be better traders in the future. I don't like to see them having an easy path on the way because how will they learn if there's no mistake on the way.

As they progress, they will now eventually learned how to control emotions over trades. Building trading experience is the key.
3345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 12, 2021, 10:26:31 PM
I wonder if they offer this to Mayweather?

I'm 100% sure they didn't offer that to Mayweather. It's impossible for that boxer to just accept any offer even for an exhibition match. Remember that it takes several years in the making when he decided to accept Pacquiao's challenge so what's more in a sudden replacement.

this is why a lot are formulating conspiracy theories that ugas' camp knew all along that he will fight pacquiao. and that spence followed mayweather's advice.

Been reading this too but want to take it lightly. For let's say it's true, the advantage is Spence Jr can still prepare for long and while the time is passing, Pacquiao is now hitting the retirement and aging. Knowing Pacquiao, he can accept any challenge but his body might not cooperate in a hard boxing match 2-3 years from now or should I say, even for a year. The same goes for what Mayweather did when he avoid Manny during the people's champ prime and fierce days.
3346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DYOR also needs your input on: August 12, 2021, 10:03:10 PM

It's worth putting up some investments in KardiaChain especially that some of their Dapps are on the rise.

The best example is MyDefiPet which is now on the hype and one of the most trending NFT games even there are no pay-to-earn features yet. They also have their own decentralized exchange, Becoswap, and a high yield optimizer, Sleepearn Finance.

I'm not the type of person that just suggests people put money on this, that etc. Just add this to your DYOR list and decide later on.
Well, may kitaan pa ba bounties ngayon? Just curious.

Di magandang alternative na pang source of income.

3348  Local / Pamilihan / Re: face 2 face transaction in Manila on: August 11, 2021, 11:15:07 PM
I have Monero/Bitcoins, and want to sell through face 2 face transaction in cash.
We can meet in a Bank and we can start with a small transaction to establish trust. I can sell up to 1,000,000 PHP.

- Create a Binance Account. It's free and will take up just a few minutes.
- Comply with KYC to be eligible in Binance P2P. The process will also take few minutes.
- Link your bank account. Your name in Binance should be the same name you will use when linking bank accounts.

Done. You can now transact there as much as you want without dealing in Face to Face transactions.

Much safe, convenient, and less hassle.
3349  Local / Pamilihan / Re: GCash is planning to add cryptocurrencies! on: August 11, 2021, 11:05:53 PM

Cheesy

Cheesy
3350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 11, 2021, 02:26:38 PM

As expected, few days before the fight, the match will be listed.

Currently: (stake.com)
John Riel Casimero @1.44
Guillermo Rigondeux @2.75

Surprise with the gap of the odds. I've found no other betting options for the fight so for Casimero bettors, they should take that odds or leave it. Don't know though on other betting sites.
3351  Economy / Gambling / Re: FEZBET = PURE SCAM !!! on: August 09, 2021, 07:19:10 PM
i cant remember where exactly i encounter that site first, but they appear in a lot of sportsbook sites, also on oddsportal. i deposit 200€ and won around 500€, then i got limited after one bet and tried to withdraw. they took the whole money, including the amount i deposit.

For let's say we will disregard their reputation and credibility, do they told you why it turned out like that? Something like you violates the terms or something along those lines. We don't know the whole story.

But yes, you need to move on as probably even with exchange emails, they won't allow you to withdraw even your deposits. That was an unprofessional act.

This proves that even a licensed site will do a shady service.
3352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 09, 2021, 06:20:17 PM

Technically, no correlation obviously.

Maybe the same approach that can also be apply to other gambling types. These guys might be knowledgeable at that sports, especially the league itself, so it's a factor why they won.

Take it as their other preferred activity. Of course, our skills and knowledge are not just limited to one.
3353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 09, 2021, 06:06:28 PM
We have an update about PBA resumption, they'll resume this month at Pampanga.

Did they anticipate or think that ECQ might be extended in Manila? Since they chose August 22 wherein Manila's ECQ will last until August 20.

Or maybe for some teams to have more time to practice since it's not possible to do it, for now, in Manila. Well then, at least they have a plan set on stones now and for the remaining days, they will work on where players and staff will stay.

That was a good development.
3354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 09, 2021, 05:39:41 PM
I'm comparing the stars of Celtics and Lebron James, because they have different kind of leadership and it will always affect the ego of their teammates if they feel they don't get the kind of respect they deserve. I just think that Lebron had some attitude problem too as back in Cleveland, there's a rumor that he influence the management to fired David Blatt, and have you wondered why Irving left Cleveland which makes the team shitty afterward?

The argument will be invalid because we can't compare Irving's experience to the case of Schroder. And their gap is very different. I don't really see how it ends up in the issue that Schroder doesn't like to play with Lebron so he turned down a decent offer.

Playing with the Celtics, he will still be the second option next to Tatum and Brown as the main guy. And these guys are currently on prime.

Also found on the article you shared: “My first year in OKC was tough. I played with Russ and PG. And then my second year, I felt comfortable. Now, I’m in my first year with the top-two players in the world and the best player who’s every played this game, probably, and for me, it’s just about being in a comfort zone, feeling comfortable.

It clears he wants to be the main man, at least, that's why he tries to step up for the Lakers when James and AD got injured last season. But transferring to Celtics if ever, there will be no change. It doesn't mean that Kemba is now out for the Celtics, he will be the replacement.

And would you still admire Lebron after reading this?

Pat Riley Reveals That LeBron James Wanted Erik Spoelstra Fired in 2010

This is going nowhere lol. I don't admire Lebron and that was out of the context to include that story in our discussion about Schroder turning down the offer. Like to have an exchange discussion without a hatred feeling toward a player.
3355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 09, 2021, 05:20:49 PM

I've checked the seat slots and there are lots of vacant seats as I'm typing this. Or maybe the venue has a limited capacity? Sales aren't that impressive then there's a lack of marketing of the fight. The ticket sales are even considered as cheap with just playing around $50 - $200.

Out of curiosity, I've tried looking for the sales on Pay-Per-View but found no data about it.

4 days to go before the fight, not even a glimpse that sports betting sites, especially crypto betting sites, will list it. But don't lose hope, there are still a few days more.
3356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB smart chain transfer help on: August 09, 2021, 04:51:19 PM
The company is a legit company. I transferred Bitcoin to them, and it went through. The wallet receiving address from the company  is: 0x4191502367fef01311f72bf278f8oe2bc553569b

Are you sure about this? It was an invalid address format. But even it's correct (or you shared the TX id here instead) it won't solve the problem because it's still out of your control and only them can look at that transaction.

Since they are "legit" according to you then I hope they can respond positively to you. Did they respond already?
3357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 09, 2021, 04:36:32 PM
Well, that's true but Tatum and Brown are not on the same level as Lebron who can demand on who's going to be his teammates and can even demand on who is going to be his coach. Maybe one of the reasons is he doesn't want to play with Bron of we called the king.

What's the connection of Lebron James can demand who's going to be his teammates or anything lol.

He turned down the offer because he wants more money. That's no secret. If the offer somehow is $100M for four years, surely he will accept it. Do you really think there are teams who can offer that kind of money to him? Before landing at the Lakers, he is not even a special piece on OKC and only played 14 and 2 times as a starter respectively for 2 seasons.

Transferring to Celtics, he is only projected to have $9 to $10 a year. See what kind of offer he wasted on the Lakers if he sets aside his ego. Anyways, to make it more clear, let's wait for the final contract if ever Celtics will sign him.
3358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB smart chain transfer help on: August 09, 2021, 04:02:19 PM

Basically, since you have sent it to other parties, then there's no way you can recover it by yourself. The funds are now in their wallet.

The article you read won't able to help you too. By the way, what company is this? Can you tell us? Anyhow, since you have emailed them now, try to update us here so we can provide a better answer.
3359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments prohibit developers from creating a new coin? on: August 09, 2021, 03:44:58 PM
As crypto/Blockchain tech becomes more popular, mainstream banks and governments will be forced to take action against this emerging industry to stop its growth worldwide. They don't want to people to use crypto on top of Fiat, so we'll be seeing new tactics from said entities in order to destroy crypto for good.

I don't see it that way. There's no way banks will destroy crypto because after all, they have their own digital asset. Why should they destroy it if they can use the blockchain instead as their advantage? Bank fiat payments also improved and evolve. Sending money is instant and just 1 tap. And banks no need to stop people, as people are the ones limiting themselves in crypto.

One of those tactics could be either banning people from trading crypto at a centralized exchange or simply prosecuting developers of a cryptocurrency project.

That's already the law implemented in those non-crypto-friendly countries.

However, at centralized exchanges, the government is profiting from them as they are registered businesses so I don't see their operation will be stopped.

Before devs will be able to launch a new cryptocurrency, they're going to need governments' approval. Otherwise, they could face serious consequences in the long run.

Most later projects who held an ICOs are like that. If I've not mistaken some projects in 2018. I hope I can name a few if I remember one.

A reference for investors that they are secured before investing.
3360  Local / Pamilihan / Re: GCash is planning to add cryptocurrencies! on: August 09, 2021, 03:24:53 PM

Ok na rin yan, it opens up a competition against coins.ph. Talunin na lang nila sa rates.

Pero ako, no for me in terms of crypto. I will use Gcash as it is. More on another option na lang iyong crypto features niya.
