3341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much power does Elon still have over the crypto markets? on: June 19, 2021, 09:27:13 PM
Elon musk have power over cryptocurrency market because he really have the money to pump any coin he wishes and the amount of Followers he is having on the social media which must of them believe in him and they believe if he post about any coin he has the ability to pump and coin and must people are really after money so they believe if they can buy the coin the coin will definitely pump. That's why Elon musk is having power over cryptocurrency market.
That's what Elon Musk before but after he made the market dumped, i think his power has just lowered because some of his followers have started to hate him because of manipulating the market into a negative situation.

For me, it's not really all that Elon Musk's fault. China has also contributed to the dump. And even the cryto market alone has also had its own time to dump because of the previous bull run wherein coins were overbought. But this Elon Musk has really got the power to manipulate the market in such a direction he wanted but probably, his power will be gone fully too in the days to come so let's not worry because the market will eventually recover in time.
3342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: another bullrun before 2021 ends on: June 18, 2021, 11:50:32 PM
I personally believe that there will be another btc bull run and alt run before 2021 ends.  what you guys think about it?

btc to 80000 or 120000 USD
Well, I'd love to see $100k hit this year, and I'm sure of it. however, another Bullrun is sure to arrive this year. although bitcoin and altcoin prices are trying to bounce back from the downturn, but I'm sure it won't take long. Well, this year has been pretty spectacular, and I think there will be more news to follow that will set up another bull run.
This is the most likely scenario and I think it can happen as soon as the last quarter of this year arrives but it is not going to be easy, I think that we could see a manipulation of the market and the price may go down a little bit further and this could be enough to produce another round of panic selling, the whales will get coins cheap which will finally satisfy them and will finally stop crashing the price and we will begin a recovery culminating in several all time highs at the end of the year.
Price corrections will always be around every now and then so it's expected already before we hit another bull run for bitcoin and altcoins. And when that time comes, only those who have waited patiently keeping their coins safe without panic selling will sure to reap their fruits of labor from a long bearish season.

I predict btc price might be able to reach $100k to $120k this time. Not that bad for keeping us wait for long and for never falling into another trap where most people have sold their coins believing that the market will find it hard to recover again.
3343  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami Mayor Will Allow Employee salaries in Bitcoin on: June 18, 2021, 10:58:33 PM
Not only Miami, but also Texas promotes the integration of crypto assets into government structures. The Texas Department of Banking has allowed state-owned banks to store cryptocurrencies. This is stated in the notification of the regulator on June 10. ~
Miami and texas are big cities, their regional heads are really great
while many other countries are afraid of the potential of cryptocurrencies, these two cities are "welcome" to cryptocurrencies

It's not easy to make this big decision because there are bound to be a lot of debates and differences of opinion that arise
but these two cities are really great, hope to one day become a citizen of one of these cities Cheesy
The leaders of both Miami and Texas will definitely create big changes in their cities and its all matters of a kind of leadership where great changes can be achieved.

Crypto will be more recognized with this kind of promotion. If all leaders would come out from their comfort zone and would not be afraid of debates or any differences, then crypto will most likely to be adopted soon in the near future.
3344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is buying three bitcoin worth it? on: June 18, 2021, 10:21:01 PM
You are talking about a really serious amount of investment. And it looks like you don't have so much idea about Bitcoin. Then, I would recommend you to do a comprehensive research about Bitcoin before making a this big investment. You should really be careful when you invest an incredible amount of money. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend you to invest nearly all of your savings into any cryptocurrency. It's too dangerous for your future.
Buying three bitcoin with the current price is such a big amount and you would not sacrifice your savings in an investment you don't even know well. I suggest make an extensive research on bitcoin first, how its investment works and what are risks of investing in bitcoin before you decide to release a big amount.

For me, it's never a wrong idea to invest in bitcoin because that would give you huge returns in the future but the fact that you will get your capital from your hard earned money would mean very risky. Bitcoin is highly volatile and will definitely pump and dump its price in the next days. You can invest in it but start with just a fraction of it and when you make profits already, use your profit to buy another fraction of it. Invest only what you can afford to lose and diversify your investment as much as you can.
3345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a bad time for altcoins? on: June 17, 2021, 11:48:56 PM
[quote author=Tellek Garing link=topic=5343707.msg57255281#msg57255281 date=162396323
That's because of the community and the way the project is promoting, I think right now meme coins fly faster because they are trending but soon when the trend ends many of them will die, this is like when the ICO and IEO trend
Projects that have good marketing these days even if they don't show good developments are still gaining interest from investors and they see more potentials in it to grow their value in the future.

However, meme coins are also trending nowadays and it all started with doge coin hype. The market can be easily hyped even with a single tweet from a millionaire and things just got lucky for meme coins right now. But i think they won't last for long since they got no value and utility case in the real sense. They will just end up shitcoins at the end of the day.
3346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most optimistic result of Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2021, 09:56:54 PM
I think the most optimistic outcome for Bitcoin would be to return to its roots, which is to play to the nature of bitcoin as a currency, as the opposite of global fiat currencies, coexisting with global fiat currencies and ready to replace the declining credit of fiat currencies, such as overissued US dollars.

That would require the majority of Bitcoin holders to refrain from speculative activity. If that happens Bitcoin could become a currency. Otherwise how do you see Bitcoin achieve sufficient stability in order to work as a currency as we know it?
Having bitcoin as a currency would mean reaching its goal already but since the government are greatly opposed with its currency legalization so it's hard for bitcoin to be a global currency.

So people in the crypto community would find other ways to make bitcoin a profitable one by trading or just simply holding. And we can't stop them from doing it because honestly, the best result for bitcoin right now is knowing how profitable it is as an asset or an investment.
3347  Economy / Economics / Re: Own a house or rent one? Quick survey! on: June 17, 2021, 09:35:40 PM
I actually prefer to rent, not with loan though.
I doubt I could live in a house I built with loan if the house isn't earning me more income.
Besides it's quite risky to build houses that can't easily be moved around to other locations in time of uncertainty.
I never really liked large homes for me and family. Better to build companies where people can be employed.
My decision will greatly depend from my source of income. Having to take a mortgage loan that will take 20-25 years let's say is very hard for someone who has only been making minimum wage income. But if you have a stable job with high paying salary then it's really a wise decision to have your own home as long as you can live along with your family.

Honestly, i prefer to take a mortgage loan so i can have a home of my own because renting for such long years would mean a total waste of your money and yet in the end the house would never be yours. But it all depends in your source of living if you can sustain it together with those basic needs of your family that should always come first.
3348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't blame Elon musk and China for the dip!!!!!!! on: June 16, 2021, 11:53:53 PM
Maybe we can still say that there is a part where they manipulated this current dip like what Elon M usk doing in tweeter. He tweeted lot that creates FUDs recently same with some news from china that shaken' the crypto community.
We all know that the whole crypto market will be affected once negative news come out in the market and having Elon Musk tweet about bitcoin and China banning bitcoin contribute much on the big dump. Ye, we may say its the reaction of the market to stay in dips from an overbought position but the FUDS that were created by Elon have more effect on the market.

But this is not the season to keep on digging with our losses as having crypto in dip is not new to us. We should be more resourceful by now and if trading is not profitable now in crypto, then find another ways how we can make profits despite of the dip.
3349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If governments block Bitcoin, does Bitcoin have no value? on: June 16, 2021, 11:22:25 PM
Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency which government has no single authority on it. I think government can't block bitcoin as easy as you think. Other countries already legalized bitcoin while the adoption are keep on growing. Bitcoin was use not just an asset but also as currency that can be a payment method although it's just limited so far. Maybe time will come bitcoin will become more useful more than I thought.
If bitcoin will become legalize in most of the countries and will be adopted soon as a currency, that's the time it will be more useful compared today. But how would adoption take place if most of the governments are planning to block bitcoin?

Bitcoin is not a centralized currency so even if the government will block bitcoin, it will never create a huge impact on its value. People will still find ways to store and transact bitcoin in times it is needed. Bitcoin will only be totally block if the internet alone will be shut down but i don't think it will.
3350  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: June 16, 2021, 01:12:20 PM
I believe it’s all about the views we have personally. About how we see thins in life. Yes money in important, because, well this is life, so you need to for a lot of things especially food. But there are people who are contented with what they have. I think if you’re at the average level, at least you’re able to feed yourself and your family, and pay your bills and whatsoever without much stress, then you’re good.

There are people who wants to be very rich just so they can flex/show off, and buy the latest and most costly cars and all that, but it’s never like that for everyone.

I think money becomes a kind of source  for your happiness when you’re the materialistic type, the types that wants the latest trends and the most beautiful things and you want to fly to the moon and all that. But even at that, it doesn’t stop you from being sad or depressed. It’s good to work hard and make money, but don’t base your happiness on materialistic things, that’s when it comes wrong.
Well said. I also believe that money does not bring happiness all the time. Yes it can give us joy and excitement but it's only temporary because after a week or two, even if you still have lots of mesoney, your mood or behavior will definitely change.

However, having a lot of money this time will eventually change your lifestyle into your own target goal. But that does not mean that you will be happy for the rest of your life. You will still experience disappointments and frustrations even how wealthy you are. Money is definitely not a measure for your happiness because it can even lead you to do evil when greed becomes the center of your life.
3351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: June 14, 2021, 09:18:56 PM

No strategy that would guarantee you a win, gambling sites would easily adjust based on our fixed strategy, so as they adjust, we also have to change our strategy.
That's for real, gambling site knows how to adjust, there's no way that the system won't  detect any working strategy,

better to make sure that you know how to stop when there's already some decent profits from the strategy that you are working.
We can always stop but that doesn't mean we will not come back anymore to gamble.
It's normal for gamblers to come back when he wins or even if he loses, that's why the reality still exist that we will lose in the long run.

Quote
The Martingale system is an old system, it's still currently used but this is the riskiest strategy and would make gamblers with a lack of experience before very greedy until they regret in the end.

Still in use from those who believes that doubling your bets each tie you lose can fasten the recovery of your loss, unknowingly that the numbers of

losing streak is also unknown, not unless you have unlimited bankroll, that's the only thing that it will work surely.

Unlimited bankroll would still not work, as mentioned above, the gambling site will adjust so limiting your bet is their way to battle your unlimited bankroll.
3352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To diversify or not to diversify... on: June 14, 2021, 06:06:49 PM
Better to focus on what you have started . If you buy altcoins for other backup investments, it's okay as long as you are ready to risk when playing with altcoins. Because the price is very volatile and if bitcoin is going down, altcoins are going down even worse. So my advice just focus on what you have started.
Bitcoin is already a very good start for newbies. I agree that you should still focus on bitcoin until you finally accumulate a whole bitcoin because even if its highly risk, it won't cause you big losses in the end if you intend it to save for long term.

Diversification is good but if you plan to start it now, it would add more risks to your investment. Think of it later after you already come up making huge profits in bitcoin. Ethereum would be a perfect pair too for bitcoin if you plan for future diversification.

3353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Musk is going to hurt the Crypto Industry, sign this petition on: June 14, 2021, 05:23:51 PM
Well, looks like what you said happened already and the petition never really did anything to orevent stupid people from losing money. What's worse is that not only did Elon Musk fcked up dogecoin, he also fcked up bitcoin with his trolling. That bastard whom I used to idolize turned this whol industry to a joke. And even with all these happening in front of the public, most people still choose to give credibility or weight to his tweets. The direction this industry is heading is really scary.
There's nothing we can do about what Elon did to the crypto market so i guess ignoring him is the best thing to do. The market only shows that its not matured yet because even a single tweet from a millionaire brings too much impact on the market.

If we cannot prevent dogecoin from surging high, then maybe we can also take advantage of the situation just like what Elon did. We can start investing into dogecoin just a small portion of it and if it reaches beyond our expectation, we can also make profits. If it suddenly dump along the way, no worries atleast we only invest on the amount we can afford to lose.
3354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 14, 2021, 11:29:13 AM

Well it can affect since many got dismay to see how the supposed to be good match up end between mayweather and him, so I expect that there are several people doesn't like to buy tickets or pay to watch their fight but they are still famous they can still accumulate more audience if they hype the game so hopefully Paul will give a good fight  for this match.

They are striking the iron while it's hot, but this is going to be a better fight than what Jake Paul had the last time Tyron woodley even though lost his last 4 fights but he losses, not the way Askren did and Askren is more of wrestling than a boxer, his best is ground while Woodley can punch and still got power, Jake Paul definitely going to have a tough fight against Woodly this is something to watch, I hope it's not boring like what we saw in the Mayweather fight by his brother.

Actually, we can never tell, there's a lot of hype on his previous fight so people are not anymore expecting high this fight. I don't even think that this fight will generate more revenue than the previous fight of  Jake Paul, but I'm hoping it will not disappoint us again.

What do you think, after the Mayweather vs Logan Paul, will Mayweather fight Jake Paul next? or people are already done supporting the exhibition fight because the last one was boring.
3355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: June 14, 2021, 10:12:42 AM
Happy Friday, gamblers Smiley

Some time ago, last October, I asked you if BTC price increase has affected your gameplay somehow. Back then, it wasn't a problem for most of the users who replied.

Well, today the BTC price is almost $50K. I was just wondering, how are things now.
Are you still playing with Bitcoin, or have you switched to another coin due to a rise?

Thanks,
Karl from Bitcasino

Bitcoin is still a very convenient cryptocurrency to play.
In my opinion, it all depends on how much money someone is playing.
For big players, Bitcoin will definitely remain the most reliable and easy.
However, I think that due to the low transaction fees for smaller players, Litecoin is much better.

BTC transaction fee is very cheap if you are not gambling with a penny. I only gambled using a small amount of money and I don't find bitcoin transaction fee now high, the average in the past few weeks is only $1 below, so it's very affordable and transaction could still confirm faster.
3356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 14, 2021, 09:26:22 AM
Bucks made a good comeback and serie is tied now, 2-2. Nets still have home advantage though they blew a good advantage after 2-0. They should've gotten at least one game away, now this series is harder. Especially if they lose fifth game at home things might be very ugly for them. If Harden played tonight could it be different? Probably but we never know. Shoutout to Giannis Antetokounmpo though, he scored 34 points and most importantly when he is in court Bucks scored 29 points more. This is important stat because when you look at Nets superstar Durant you see -23 points. That was the main factor in tonight's game.
Now the Nets are in the worst situation right now because Harden is injured and will not play too in Game 5 and for sure Irving will not play too because of the Ankle Sprain.
Durant will be in the situation as to where LeBron is where he carried the Cavaliers team to the Finals. Lets not forget too that he got an injury 2 years ago and there is also a possibility that it will come back (I hope not or there will be no chance for the Nets to win).

Some are saying too that what Giannis did was a dirty play because he boxed out Kyrie which caused the sprain. Just watch the video and decide. On the other hand, Tucker is doing a very good job defending Durant and he limited him to just 9/25. Now the momentum shifted on this series already and the Nets are also undermanned. If Harden could play then he will be a big difference inside the court because of his abilities to either pass and shoot the ball.

There's no confirmation yet whether both will play or not, we might be surprised that we will see them in the lineup, game 5 is a very important game for the Nets because if they lose in this game, their series could be over in 6. This is good news for the Nets.

3357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too blind to see on: June 13, 2021, 09:26:29 PM
As far as I can see,  bearish sentiment persist in Cryptocurrency so far!  It has been happening since end of April and this should not be a news.  When will there be a reversal?  may be very soon as market has not fully get to it's price potential!  Bitcoin could still be $100k and ether could be $10k this year!
Yes, hopefully that can be achieved in the near future, because if Bitcoin can penetrate $100K for onen  unit and  Ethereum can be at $10K in one unit, I'm sure there will be many people who are profitable and some will always praise Bitcoin and Ethereum for that time.
Bitcoin and ethereum will surely go hand in hand so if bitcoin reaches new ATH, the other coin has all its possibility to reach new ATH too. I think most of the coins will do the same once bitcoin is in a peak.

The present market condition is definitely in a bearish season but even if we see prices in dips, there's no need to worry because if we closely think of it, bearish season will always be a perfect time to add potential coins in our portfolio. People may worry when they see their investments falling this time but didn't realize that after this, huge profits are waiting if we just grab this chance to accumulate more cheap bitcoin and hold them for years.
3358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 13, 2021, 12:15:59 PM
I'm going to be on the Nets in game 4.

https://sports.yahoo.com/nets-james-harden-out-for-game-4-hamstring-injury-progressing-jeff-green-195304682.html

Harden is still out in game 4 but Green is upgraded to questionable, hopefully, he can play as he can add up on the defense of the Nets.
Overall, it's the same squad who almost beat the Bucks in game 3, so Nets should win this one.
3359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 13, 2021, 11:38:01 AM
I'm sure Spence are not going to take Manny lightly, he knows that. Manny is a legend and has so many experienced. And even if Manny is in his 40's he has proven that he can still fight toe to toe with the best, including Spence himself.

Maybe he just want to psyche himself with those statements. But Manny are not affected by it, he will surely laugh, but inside, Pacquiao mindset is very different.

That would be his biggest mistake if he takes Manny lightly but i think that's not gonna happen because Spence would not become a champion if he lacks that discipline. This fight, i think he's gonna train hard for this as this kind of event doesn't come always in a boxer's career and he is lucky that he is the one that got this fight as many aspires to be on the opposite side of Manny in the ring.

Manny has nothing to lose in this fight, people already believe that he is not getting any younger that's why in the betting odds you can tell that Spence is heavily favored. Spence has to train harder than he usually do, Manny has been in many battles in the past and have won most of them.

At least he can retire peacefully if he loses because he fought a young and once of the best fighter in his last fight. However, I don't really see it easily happening in this fight, if this will be a controversial fight, or will result to a draw, we might see a rematch or a possible trilogy.
3360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investment and loss anticipation on: June 12, 2021, 09:56:50 PM
'
All investments have risk, nothing is certain of profit, even gold or property does not guarantee for profit, the best thing to avoid loss is to divide it in many coins or tokens.
Losses are always expected whatever investments you decide to start. And all investments have always its risks along. And if you can't handle the risks, then it will be hard for you to make profits.

I think the best way not to end up with huge losses is to be knowledgeable and responsible on the investment you have. You can lessen the risk if you know well how things will work out based from your deep researches and even experiences. And never expect immediate profits like some newbies do. Remember, profits will most likely to come to you if you master your skill so you can minimize some losses and attract good returns.
