3341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not meant 4everybody on: November 18, 2021, 11:49:55 PM
Well it seems that is right that trading is not meant for everyone, trading is those people who have already skills and knowledge on it and if you don't have this, it seems you are wasting time and money. Many people think that trading is very easy to gain profit but they never know how hard it is to guess the market without any preferences just only hope that your speculation will become right. Because it took years for me before I have learned in trading but even that long I did not pursue myself to stay in gambling.
We can see and feel what really it was when we are in actual trading. Many had just over speculated and over-think there is easy money in trading which in fact, many had to suffer losses before they fully understand this.

For many reasons why some traders don't continue their journey in trading. Time and Capital is the major cause of this. Having to spend more time in the market, the more you could understand the situation as TA has been made. And if you have huge CAPITAL, helps you to gain more profit in a shorter time ( but has the possibility of losing big too).
3342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is burning coins good on: November 18, 2021, 11:20:14 PM
Well explained @hazak  Cool but what I don't understand is why projects have a very large pool of coins in the first place...Do the devs overvalue these projects & expect to sell all these coins and also get the green light to go with inflated numbers of tokens Huh .Its only when the sale doesn't go as planned do they resort to balance the figures, because the issued tokens compared to the unissued is way below their target and burning some allows for value addition to existing coins and also stimulates demand around the crypto users.
Might over calculated or they think that more tokens give them more demand and profit. They likely underestimate the market competition as they expect too much for their project.

Now, burning tokens have made sense as it become a strategy to make their price moves up. It becomes a common practice for those who have a huge market cap. Eventually, it works but I don't know if this is a sustainable strategy or not? maybe they look into some projects who did this first and it works but can't be sure if this works to worthless projects.
3343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They will try to stop Bitcoin on: November 18, 2021, 01:40:17 PM
there are so many who try to stop bitcoin such as one example of the Chinese state which strongly opposes the circulation of bitcoin in that country where they forbid its people to adopt bitcoin, even though bitcoin is opposed by various countries but they are unable to stop the circulation of bitcoin or prohibit bitcoin from circulating in the global stock market, they can only ban the circulation but can't stop the bitcoins
China has their own crypto meaning they are hindering  bitcoin for their own benefits,
that is a bias stand ..

but the people inside does not like their policy because there are so many miners in their region.

and look after their banning , bitcoin climbed another high.
Crypto mining in China is quite known and of great numbers before. Apparently, their number is continuously growing until such a time that the government had to look for an opportunity to stop them ( maybe for some unidentified reason). That banning issue is the biggest challenge for their people, they are making a living to it and are suddenly just about to stop.

Well, that illegality is might be the concern of the government which urges them to regulate crypto but somehow, as to see that they are doing something more than that, they are aimed to manipulate and then take control.
3344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 18, 2021, 11:00:11 AM
How about Porter by KO?

That x15 is very sweet, I'm sure everyone is betting on Crawford to win but since Porter has not been KO in his fights, then maybe he has a chance to pull an upset and that is by knocking out Crawford. Does anyone sees it possible to happen?
3345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 18, 2021, 10:26:08 AM

What can you say guys about Christian Standhardinger playing for the Japan B-League after the PBA Governors Cup?

For me, a good decision. First, he is not fit the Ginebra system (although can be fixed with more games playing at Ginebra). Second, he will be utilized more in the B League, and lastly, career-wise, the paycheck is much better compared to playing at the PBA.

I'm just thinking that "what if", the Barangay able to snatch a title at the Governor's Cup. Will that change Standhardinger's plan to go to B-League? A big compensation is an assurance if Brgy. Ginebra makes it to the championship.
I'm trying to find some articles or sources with this news but I can't find one. Kindly share the link here so that we can read the news because this is a huge news.

Well, lets face it. B-league is a better league compare to PBA in terms of salary and in competition. This is the reason why Filipino Players opted to play at B-league. They are saying that they want experience but aside from that, the money that they will get playing there would be much better than playing in PBA.

Any player that comes from PBA and will play to B-league would always be a good decision and this is one of them. I mean he might play better there and aside from that, he will get more money. I think that we already expected this outcome after Thirdy playing in B-league. Him playing in B-league created a domino effect against young Filipino Basketball players and those professional players as well. Now I don't know what will Ginebra do to let CStan stay but.... I'm thinking that PBA is in trouble right now because more and more players are opting to play outside PH instead of playing here.

That's still a rumor for now but I have a feeling that he will leave the PBA because he is not making a name in the PBA, I mean our expectation from him is not met, so he can choose to make a name in Japan and make a bigger salary at the same time.

I'm sure lots of teams will be interested on him.
3346  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 17, 2021, 10:46:16 PM
It's been a while since we have seen any huge price manipulation and bitcoin is fluctuating between 5-10% from few days/weeks and what do you think would be the outcomes? will it be marching towards new milestone of $80K or $100k which has been trending in most of the crypto influencer's channels? I think we have seen this before and bitcoin will surge and probably touch $100k and then whales will start dumping like they did in 2018 in order to buyback at lesser value.

Will we be tricked in to buy at peak or else people have learnt lesson from 2018 dump and act wisely this time?
Honestly, we don't know their (whales) plan yet, that seems surprising but a need to anticipate before we got caught. It was going to understand that investing in crypto is very risky and we might fall into the trap if we are doing market analysis.

I know that we are familiar with what happens lat 2018 after Bullrun, people are learning that as well but that can't stop people become optimistic in a way that they'll think it never happens. May history repeat itself but not in that hard way as we suffer a long bearish season (3years). I'm doubted that comes again, yeah, can really have that correction, and the price declines but not in the certainty that it drops to $20k, $10k...not anymore.
3347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 17, 2021, 08:10:11 AM
I'm with you, it's no longer the time of Fajardo's domination other team already find the solution and now beating them.

It's about time for Coach Leo to find a new system that will rotate his offense and not focus alone with Fajardo inside. With Terrence and Perez, they already have killers let these two play work hand in hand.

Ross and Fajardo can act as decoy and give more time for Tau and Manuel. Both are good scorers and also have good defensive skills.

If coach Leo Austria stays in SMB, then most likely his plays will remain the same. His plays are just simple, give the ball to Junemar, and if there's a double then pass to the open teammate. These plays were the ones that brought them to history in the PBA with straight championships in the AFC.

There's a rumor that coach Alex Compton is in talks with SMC management, if he replaces coach Leo then most likely their system will change.

The coaching style of coach Leo is very effective, there's no reason to change him as long as Fajardo is still there, he already specialized it IMO.

Alaska is more on run and gun type of game, SMB can't play at a fast pace because JMF is slowly, so I expect coach Leo to stay for at least a few seasons, however, if SMB still fails to win this coming conference, then most likely the management will be forced to make that decision.
3348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 17, 2021, 07:50:22 AM
Didn't expect a blowout win for GSW, Curry showed his superiority against the best team in the East, he made 9/14 from beyond the arc and that's very impressive, there's should be no debate on who is the greatest shooter now, Curry is just on a different level this season.

Better luck next time Nets, bounce back if you ever meet again this season.

I just noticed the fans behind GSW's bench each time Curry's throwing the ball, that kind of reactions is very insulting for the Nets.

They are cheering for GSW and enjoying how Curry's cooking the Nets in front of their own crowd, just like seeing Dubnation in another
home court, we can't deny how good GSW right now, they are really showing big improvements.

in the next few weeks Klay may play and for sure it will add more firepower and defensive stop..
We saw a glimpse of a possible NBA Finals out there and obviously we know who will win between the two of them Tongue. Kidding Cheesy.

Well, the years that the Warriors spent tanking and getting some good picks in the draft paid off. They got good picks (Wiseman, Kuminga and Moody) and they got some underrated players as well that can adopt the system of Coach Kerr. Players like Porter, Bjelica, Iggy are players who are playing very well with the team but they are underrated players. The good thing about the management is that they know how to pick players that can adopt to how the Warriors are playing. Just see their roster and most if not all of them can shoot threes plus they have a player who have one highlight dunk per game (Payton).

Take note that the Warriors' roster aren't playing yet. What if Klay and Wiseman comes back Cheesy.

That was not a possible NBA Finals, maybe GSW will advance but the way the Nets played, I don't think they'll even win in the ECF. I have a feeling that Bucks will once again advance in the NBA Finals and I just hope that against a different opponent, probably the GSW as it's more interesting.
3349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What promising tokens should you buy in 2022? on: November 16, 2021, 11:52:09 PM
I consider first on the top altcoins ETH, BNB, and the hot Solana.

I also have the plan to invest in gaming platforms this time if there is new (not NFT) if they have market gain potentials. It is something we have to manage our funds carefully and I only put small percent to new coins and have to put huge shares to the ETH and BNB.

For now, it is more on searches and market analysis. Can't just rush the market and since the price is still bullish, I've waited for a while and just invest when there are corrections.
3350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are crypto owners naturally paranoid? on: November 16, 2021, 11:21:50 PM
~
Either way in exchanges, you already had the risk of losing your fund anyway. I personally never had any cold storage, and I am just having a separate machine that is for my own desktop wallet. It won't be used for any browsing purposes that would risk of getting hacked or getting infected by spy/malware. Kind of an alternative, if one also does not want to spend too much in a hardware wallet.
That is rather our choice to buy an expensive hardware wallet if that is really a need for us. I'm still using an online wallet and custodial wallet in our country but so far, I have no issues about losing control of my account, maybe that was because I don't entertain emails coming from the unknown person especially when sending links. I've been careful in keeping my computer not to use by others and I don't allow them to touch/borrow this.

It is either what kind of wallet we use, that certainly it depends on how we handle them. But not to put them on the exchanges as the chances of getting hacked is bigger than keeping on our controlled storage.
3351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 16, 2021, 01:47:47 PM
If he was injured, he should have postponed the fight. Or take a risk and try to knockdown Lopez. Imho it was Lomachenko fault, that he let judges decide who is the winner. Btw, in wikipedia it is mentioned, that Lomachenko did not want to put a rematch clause in contract. That s why Lopez is so angry and dont want to give Lomachenko rematch. "Eye for an eye". Loma must do his best to get a chance to fight Lopez again.

He should but he prefer not to cancel the fight because probably he needed some money and that was a big fight although it was held during the pandemic. All these although could be true are just an excuse only, a real fighter should accept his defeat without an excuses as that's the way to respect the winner of the fight.

SO WORD IS LOMACHENKO CAME IN TO THE LOPEZ FIGHT WITH A BAD SHOULDER

We need to see the rematch so people will stop taking that as an excuse on what they still believe that Loma is better than Lopez.
3352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 16, 2021, 01:11:41 PM
IMO, it's better if Ginebra will take back Greg as they were a great team with him while they struggle with C. Stand being their big man.

Not possible. The relationship is not good. Greg is expecting to be a Ginebra when he returns but Alfrancis Chua trades him even they talked and settled the problem properly. Greg's desire is to beat any SMC teams. That's what I think. He won't return to any SMC teams. Better if Greg will ask MVP to adopt him lol. He is a good fit with Katropa. Smiley

I'm not sure if he really thinks like that, if it's not gonna happen that he'll ever play with any SMC teams, then it's better if he will just join the TNT as that's the best way to get his revenge against any SMC teams. I believe that Northport is a great team now, they have improved a lot and this next conference they have a great chance to beat the top teams since imports could make a big difference.
3353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 16, 2021, 12:18:31 PM
Low scoring game between the Cavs and the Celtics, halftime now 39-37.

Both teams shoots horrendously, so for those who have bet on the under, good chance for you to win in this game unless they come up strong in the second quarter.

I have Celtics though here in a handicap, so let's see how the game will end.

The Boston Celtics have won already, I think they have covered your handicap.

Another good game that just concluded is the Knicks vs Pacers. Knicks was down in the 3rd quarter, but they did things around in the fourth. I was able to bet on them at -1.5 when the score is 74-74 in the 4th.
Boston bounces back and won, they didn't allow the Cavaliers to beat them in the 4th quarter, nice prediction and nice win.

Vintage DRose and also Quickley hitting those 3's when needed.
You can trust Drose, unfortunately, I was not able to put a bet on that particular game, I could  have put my bet on the home team.
3354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice regarding buying on: November 15, 2021, 11:34:34 PM
Being wise when it comes to investing is very important. if we aim high, why not be able to wait until the market is in correction, that I know it won't take too long to wait. To buy during the uptrend motion is not that ideal and a risk-taking move. Patience is the most common probably, and this is also the reason why many were in suffering losses than getting a profit.

So I would advise you to control your emotion. Though we can't find a perfect timing when to buy but much better to do this when bearish or just even have short corrections.
3355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start somewhere on: November 14, 2021, 11:21:18 PM
Start somewhere, it will open your eyes to see more in your future profit making and how your future will look like in the market. It will enable you to be serious with your trade not to lose the little capital used to start the business.
I started with $20k some years ago, when market was very good to anyone that is not afraid of risk to be part of massive profit making in the market that landed me to higher profit making when the price of bitcoin finally hit $60k few months ago in the market. I never doubted with the little amount of money i used to start the investment because I believe so much in my experience in trading and how to make good profit at the end of the investment.
Dont look on profits initially specially when you are just starting up because this would really make you rush on making up decisions towards your trading career.

What you should focused is on how you would sustain yourself within the market and profits would come after that because this isnt a race on where you do mind of

on rushing off things on making money or profits.Starting this career wont be simple yet this would involved lots of trial and error.
Exactly...And instead of focusing on how much to gain, it was best to priorities how to improve our knowledge and skills as these are the tools to make our goal come possible. And to accept that trading isn't easy, we can tell this by ourselves if we are doing this in real life. Like to start $100 as initial capital, if we are good in trading this will possibly be doubled in just a few days but if we don't have any idea in trading, that we lose this even in the first trade.
3356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My plans for the next bear market on: November 14, 2021, 01:14:10 PM
I think I will sell everything I have (btc and alts) in the end of december, to USDT.

1) transfer it (usdt) on Tron on my ledger
2) Wait months
3) Wait again
4) buy back when bloodbath looks over
5) triple my holdings

Main question about my plan is it safe or not keeping usdt for months?

Not actually a bad decision, that is your take...but what if the market will pump by December? That probably change your mind and I'm in doubt if you will still sell them or just hold them for a while.

But if you ask me, I suggest you to sell half of your investment and keep hold the other half. It was very important to secure our capital as well.
I think you have to keep them in BTC, not in TRON if you are wanted to earn more. Holding in stablecoins like USDT will only just safeguard your funds but not it increase your investment.
3357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 12, 2021, 09:41:16 PM
Triple G is my favorite boxer at this match.
Yes, his age is a big factor that could affect his performance but I believe that he still has the power punch that could knock out his opponent if there is a chance. Of course, we can't just underestimate his opponent as he holds a title as well, which proves he is a good fighter but I'm not considering this a bigger fight for him, though.

Might this fight could test his fist and encourage Canelo to accept the challenge. But if that has come again, I choose Canelo over Triple G.
3358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: November 12, 2021, 09:27:06 PM
One should be always careful while investing in any coin. Pump dump coins are not good for investment. Gradually movement is good movement for a good project. Sometime we see huge hype for a coin first they pump it huge then dump it So we should know how to identify such projects even avoid buying when coin is pumping hard because we never know when it drops back so always wait for the retracement. Invest in good projects that seems legit. Mostly newbies in the crypto space enticed by the hype so they should first learn some basics and fundamental of the crypto market then they should enter in the market.
Naturally, the market price will dump and pump, nothing becomes stable, or it is always in the uptrend. Many people invest during the hypes become even more profitable and that it makes encourage others to do as well however if you are new to this and have no market experience, it can't assure that you will get what they've got. It is a huge risk for newcomers and this is not advisable, it can really be tempting but have to hold ourselves as this will end no good but possibly regrets and we don't want that to happen to us.
3359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple CEO Tim Cook invests on Crypto on: November 12, 2021, 09:06:04 PM
~snip~
That possibility can indeed happen, depending on Apple's company policies in the future. Cryptocurrency has become very popular and has been recognized by several countries. Tesla led by Elon Musk made big news when it started accepting bitcoins and this caused bitcoin to reach its new ATH.
It is hoped that cryptocurrency will be adopted by many large companies, so that crypto development will be more rapid and become a more revolutionary optional payment in the future
That is certainly hopeful. Small companies, even the other big companies are also watching who's next to adopt crypto. It serves as a mirror to them and I guess, everyone is more excited to hear that more companies will consider this and let the community make use of their crypto as it has been accepted as an alternative payment.

They are known companies that give the influence and the courage for the others. This will surely increase demand on the market knowing that many companies are accepting this. Well, that leads to pumps in the price of crypto as well, especially for Bitcoin.
3360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about staking? on: November 12, 2021, 08:41:31 PM
Staking is a good way to earn money. Instead of putting your assets to sleep, it would be better to put it into staking so you'll have a passive income but things will still depend on your coin of choice. It would still be an advantage if you would pick a profitable one with a good foundation. It might take a lot of time but profit is still a profit.
But be sure to have the right choice of exchanges and coins to stake otherwise, you make nothing in the end or the worse is have to lose them.
I'd really had tried it through Binance with 3% APY or even more, that is something big enough than have to do nothing. The more capital we have the bigger we get but sounds risky, right? And that is why we should be careful instead as it wasn't in our total control. Just stake the amount that we could afford to lose, that is still important.
