3341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin still a buy despite recent losses on: June 03, 2018, 01:56:37 PM

Despite the fact that bitcoint price declined for a reason i still believe bitcoint will be able yo bounce back on track.and this is the right time to buy. bitcoint will grow more stronger as long as many people believe.  best time to invest is now while still low..
Though bitcoin is still on a dump state and is having a hard time recovering which is clearly visible because of small fluctuations, it still gain investors. Dump price is a good starting point for investors so don't be confused and bothered why bitcoin is still popular and is a buy event at this current state. Might as well feel happy for this because it shows how strong bitcoin stands in the market.

Well look at the bigger picture. Check the charts from 2010 and you'll see that the road btc is taking is not so bad even after plunging more than 50% from it's all time high. And it shows that bitcoin is well on its way upwards, perhaps just not at the pace many people are expecting
3342  Economy / Speculation / Re: Survived 8000, time for $10k? on: June 03, 2018, 01:52:14 PM
It's been more than 3 months bitcoin prices below $ 10,000 and this certainly makes a lot of users worried, the price looks stable at $ 8000 but I also can not wait to keep waiting.
I really wonder if some of you really think we can just get to see bitcoin having a bull run on and on without having moments like this in between. You should all better get used to it and then wait for the long term as long as you are an investor, and even as a trader, you had better be sure you at least know what you are doing, so you do not end up being slammed for making the wrong decisions. Bitcoin is very unpredictable, and anything can happen at any time, but let's see how it all ends up anyway.

Right. You can't say you can't keep on waiting since you should've thought about that before you bought and dealt with bitcoin and crypto. That kind of mindset is what makes people lose a lot of money and then blame bitcoin for it. You entered for the wrong reason dude.
3343  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin did hit $1m by mid-2020? on: June 03, 2018, 01:49:02 PM
Theres a dish called "dick", thats what McAfee will eat in 2021. He will prepare it on the television and will eat it.

For 1 million we need 20% adoption. We currently have less than 0.2%. This cant happen in three years, specially in a highly speculative market, where newbies burn everytime.

Lol he may be feasting on that dish quite sooner since he predicted it to be in 2020. A more recent statement of his even said it can happen sooner than 2020. Though I see it as you do dude. Newbies comes in big numbers and they affect bitcoin' price heavily once they start panicking.
3344  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH on: June 03, 2018, 01:44:34 PM
The majority of manipulation has mainly been centered around negative press and a lot the FUD is from lack of expectations being met that much is certain but the market isn't in a bad position overall

The most recent bubble burst and there will likely be more bubbles in the future

Right. That will make another ath run to be quite difficult to hit since it's certain that we'll have more challenges even at this current rate. Though i'm not feeling very negative about btc's chances as well. The price can pump very quick to all time high through fomo. If triggered, btc price can shoot to the moon.
3345  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current status of the crypto market on: June 03, 2018, 01:38:46 PM
Last week ago the price of the cyrptos decrease because there's a lot of people who sell thier bitcoins .  If the price of the bitcoin dump they affected too is the altcoins. But if you look the price now is slowly increasing again and this month they will pump more the price again.
yeah, it looks like in the near future we'll soon see prices back above $ 8,000. the price on the graph is now slowly starting to show progress and improvement quite well, after rising 0.80% a few hours ago, the price is now being lodged at $ 7,647, right you think the market will continue to pump up prices and prices will continue to increase again in this June.
Yes, absolutely right. Based on the current situation in cryptomarket, bitcoin price is slowly recovering. Though it had recently gone a downtrend price from 9K$ to 7K$, I still believe that bitcoin can make it to grow back again with bigger price in the future.

Better hope there won't be any negative news or fud coming since we all know how this recovery trend can turn around in an instant with a single bad news. The market is recovering pretty decently and hopefully you are right :p
3346  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Whales and pump and dumps have destroyed this market on: June 03, 2018, 05:35:23 AM
Some whales can pump bitcoin or dump it but can't change the market cycle, if you trade bitcoin then you are going to suffer from whales as they make it irrational as you say but if you hodl they will suffer from you.

Whales simply make waves in this market and eventually the waves will recede. Theyay influence pumps and dumps only for a certain time. One can either drown in these waves or ride it. And for most long term hodlers, watch it from a safe distance. They can't destroy the market since they're benefitting from it as well
3347  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC again Fall down at 7k?! on: June 03, 2018, 05:28:02 AM
as of this writing, btc is at $7,885... perhaps all the news about electricity costs of btc mining and how that affects the environment is influencing sell offs. that and news regarding regulations, and more trash talk aimed at bitcoin is weighing the price down i think
The price is on the way down and it may down to $7k because negative trend is there in bitcoin investment. Many people predicted that 2018 is the year for bitcoin but almost half year is going to finish and there is no increase in the price. it means that people are not interested in bitcoin anymore or they are transferring their money to other Altcoin.

What are you talking about lol. If anything, bitcoin has been getting the attention and interest of more people than before. Though that doesn't always transalate to an increase of price over night. At the moment we're inching back to the 8k mark instead of falling deeper to 7k. Overall I think we're still on a plus compared to the same time last year
3348  Economy / Speculation / Re: The June is coming and the market will boom up from that on: June 03, 2018, 05:24:05 AM
Hello everyone
You all are worried about the price of bitcoin that why it is not increasing in value and you forgot the previous two years. In the previous two years we saw a situation that from the month of January to May the price was near to stability stable and with slow move and then after the month of June the price started to increase and it doubled up much faster and multiplied many times. It is sure that we saw a situation in the previous two years then we will also see it in this year. So get ready as the train will start within a few days.
Good news if it happens. Because we all have been waiting for the end of suffering to occur in the current world of cryptocurrency. Chaotic once at this price decreased that can not be imagined and in my opinion very bad
Yes most of us worried about the bitcoin price since from january price was down. So hopefully this june bitcoin were about to boom. Others were already disappointed about the market yet I am hopeful and positive it will increase.
Actually hearing such of positive news it gives me more motivated over Bitcoin. Hopefully, this we'll see there a giant green candle. That would be perfect timing as because I really miss big green candles.

well I just wouldn't keep my hopes that high for june though. Yeah we've been recently seeing a very slow positive movement for btc majority of the alts in the market but we've seen movements like this before when the price will suddenly drop back. We're halfway through 2018 so we still have a long way to and it can turn around so i'm also positive about btc. Just not in a radical way
3349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise soon.Don't be panic. on: June 03, 2018, 05:20:06 AM
I think bitcoin will rise again in march and I think the main reason for this biggest dip is banning cryptocurrencies in china. But this is the time to buy some bitcoins. What do you think?

Yes, bitcoin is more likely to increase than die, we do not have to worry about bitcoin, because bitcoin is number one, and holding bitcoin will benefit greatly.

I didn't know if you agreed that march will be a break out month for btc since we all know it isn't lol. So far, april has been the only positive month we have for this year with the whole first quarter and this may leaning more on the bearish side. Eventually I also agree on bitcoin recovery but I think there are people who are still expecting another december2017-like pump which I don't think is likely to repeat.
3350  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does it make sense to invest in bitcoin? on: June 03, 2018, 05:15:54 AM
This is too risky but if you have enough knowledge in this technology you can gain much higher profits than investing in any conventional investments like stock exchange or real state. Here you can ride with volatility and take the best opportunity when the market is at downfall as you can buy at cheaper and sell during the market recovery. Also, you can do what you want in your bitcoin as long as you gain profits.

Right. Volatility works both ways and you can take advantage of wherever the price goes whether it goes down or up. A lot of people are only afraid to take such risks since they don't know much about bitcoin yet. And if you don't really makr studies and research, all you'll are negativity like scams and bubbles.  Of course most of us who have been dealing with bitcoin for a long time know that it doesn't work that way Smiley
3351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when Bitcoin was new and..... on: May 31, 2018, 03:38:17 PM
I really remember the time I had about 10BTC and I sold it when the bitcoin price was still at $ 1100 when I saw it now I was sorry enough and smiled if I remembered it.

Lol. A lot of us would feel the same when we look back a just a year or two ago. Back then .5 was an amount I didn't mind losing in a roll of dice hahaha
3352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Party's over. Go get a job, you lazy animals... on: May 31, 2018, 03:32:09 PM
Everyone has his own ways of earning money. We can not blame anyone if he makes less effort and gets more money than another person. Laziness is the progress of success  Wink

Good point. People make money quie easily over the internet now even if it's not crypto related. If they can make the most out of an opportunity presented then good for them. And bitcoin party's not over mind you. Perhaps not today but it will regain traction
3353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The FALL OF BITCOIN on: May 31, 2018, 03:29:08 PM
The price of a bitcoin drop depends on its sale. For example, if one person decides to sell ten bitcoins, the rate will fall low enough, and if he decides to buy them, the rate will increase. Also, the price depends on the news.

Yeah if some one sell her bitcoin in big amount there is a possibility that bitcoin price will down that's exactly what happened everytime that bitcoin price decrease .

And that's what's been happening all these time. People buy and sell.depending on what influences their decisions. It could be an fud, or a good announcement. Or whales exercising their capability of affecting the price. Bitcoin has fallen everytime and everytime it also recovers.
3354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 2018 the year when crypto goes mainstream on: May 31, 2018, 02:27:32 PM
The truth is that the anticipation for crypto to go mainstream increases as time goes on. In fact there are skeptis who would have nothing to do with crypto unless it goes mainstream. Is 2018 that year when blockchain crypto goes mainstream?

Not really. Mainstream adoption will take more than a year to take full effect. As we can see bitcoin is even facing huge challenges and price drops  though even with these things happening, we're seeing more and more crypto transactions taking place. So mainstream adoption is slowly happening but it will take a lot of time.
3355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: May 31, 2018, 02:22:33 PM
Banks will eventually do the same what Telecommunication companies are doing right now by providing internet services as there is no longer use of call and sms packages because of whatsapp and facebook. same will be the case with banks. if they are not gonna offer bitcoin deposits, they will ultimately do something to provide services related to bitcoins.

I've heard about banks here in mu country that accepts bitcoin deposits but I'm not really sure if its true. But if that's true it would be easier for bitcoin users her in my country and I believe someday it would happen worldwide in the future

Not in the near future I think. Probably years from now but currently, banks seem to be hostile towards bitcoin since of course, it goes against what they're about. As we know, some banks even prohibit debit transactions with crypto. I mean why do they have any say in that right it's the people's money
3356  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction 2018: Will Bitcoin Crash or Rise? on: May 31, 2018, 02:19:48 PM
Well, due to it's volatile nature, one thing is for sure. It will crash AND rise. What do you expect in a volatile market lol. And bitcoin's value is extremely volatile and can have sudden movements with a simple fud or a whale pump.
3357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we make sure that our money we invest in Bitcoin is safe? on: May 31, 2018, 02:06:43 PM
no one can guarantees this. it all depends on how well you "hid" from prying eyes and scammers their bitcoins. there are many ways to protect the crypto currency. use the best wallets and everything will be okay!
It depends upon your care because there are lot of hackers in here. As long as you hide your account into safety then you will be assured of its security. You are the only one who can guarantee its safety because it is on how you handle your account properly that will determine your access to it.

I agree with you, it depends on how you handle your account properly to guarantee that it's safe.
To be sure that your investment are safe you should use an trusted and reliable wallet,  paper or hardware wallet like trezor or ledger nano and keep it safe your private keys.

Well we can only do so much on our part. As stated by the people above, being careful with your passwords and private keys is your best option and normally, your wallet is safe until you become careless. With how random wallet addresses are, it would take a really determined hacker to specifically target you for your bitcoins to get a chance of being hacked
3358  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who sold bitcoin are in for a big loss on: May 31, 2018, 02:04:08 PM

Of course, who sold bitcoin for 5500 in February made a huge stupidity. I do not think that many such people who bought $ 20,000 each sold $ 5,500 Grin
Well indeed those who sold bitcoin was in a big loss did'nt think of to hold anymore. Many people suffered of big loss actually so when patient do exists we can achieve to be succeed. I think those who bought at $20k sold their btc at lower rate due to panic sell.

Most of them are likely newbies. Easily scared of a few fuds and a declining value. They need to understand that it takes more than hype to become successful in crypto and probably a lot of them learn a bitter lesson with how things are playing out this year
3359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: May 31, 2018, 02:00:05 PM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?

Hi there mikki14! First and foremost is it really a bank you are referring? That is ridiculous, I have never seen a bank something like that. Another thing is, why do they need to monitor your money. I think they are invading your privacy. Even though you have account in them, there is what they called bank secrecy code. They are not authorized to simply browse each account and check its balance and offer the investment to those who can afford it. Additionally, I think that is not a true bank at all. No bank could risk your money in full 100%.

Right. And it shouldn't even be a question of which is more risky. Your assets in banks are pretty much stagnant but backed by laws, of course it's a whole lot safer there than in bitcoin. If you're after security then putting your money in a bank is.your top option.
3360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the Cryptocurrency Market Is Falling on: May 31, 2018, 01:56:49 PM
The crypto currency prices are falling it doesn't means the market is falling, the price dumps are caused by various reasons like regulations, manipulations panic selling and mainly due to the short term investors who uses bitcoins as bump and dump coins. But soon the prices will rise again because it happened in the past too so hold your bitcoins and buy more if you can.

Exactly. I don't think there's really a need to be concerned since this has been how the market moved ever since. It's a series of ups and downs and sometimes we have more downs , but that's just because of market fluctuations due to pretty much the same reasons as before.
