I'm basically a holder at heart and it's the first altcoin I've ever held a significant amount of.

I also think it will be pumped even higher in an attempt to sway miners over. The last couple of days have been telling.

I also have more fiat waiting for a further dip but after it dropped over $500USD in 2 days, I jumped at it.  Anything under $4kUSD is a bargain.

As for AltcoinCash, I'll continue holding my forking windfall but I'm not ready to throw any fiat at it quite yet. Let's wait and see.

Cool. Just caught the dip and bought $1000CAD worth when it was below $4kUSD.

No new ATH yet today. Pretty much consolidating sideways... currently $4250USD/$5350CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

AltcoinCash however has risen to $571USD/$723CAD (Coinmarketcap), so the net result for double holders has been OK.

The past month has been very good for us long-term Bitcoin holders.

I see we're consolidating quite nicely after yesterday's correction/profit-taking, forming a lovely wedge around $4.1k... currently $4118USD/$5236CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

It's good to see the bull run still alive, but at a slower pace.

Hopefully segwit activation will send it higher. My guess is that a lot of institutional money is waiting.

In the meantime it's nice to see that a lot of patient holders have made so much money that they're worried about tax implications. Congrats to all the Bitcoin nouveau riche.

It doesn't have the inconvenience of needing cold storage. It comes pre-held by trusted 3rd parties.

They'll even let you spend it before you earn it if you pay them compound interest.

That's the whole idea.

As long as suckers sell and investors buy the dips and hold, coins will become scarcer and scarcer. The price will continue to rise as more and more people come on board.

Investors will become richer and richer and the suckers will do what they always do... lose money.

Just woke up, saw the dip, and ran over to buy $1000 worth.

I don't usually consider falling to where it was the day before yesterday to be a buyable dip, but in this case I'll make an exception.

It did drop about $550USD... currently $3840USD/$4896CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Still got fiat to spend if it goes lower.

We all knew this correction/profit-taking was overdue. Hopefully that was it and we can head back up.

If not, buy, buy, buy. The more coins the better.

This might be the last chance to buy under $4k.

Holders are speculators too. They are speculating that the price of Bitcoin will continue to keep rising.

I think what you meant was gamblers. Gamblers speculate on things like sports scores, stock prices, dice rolls, lottery ticket numbers, etc.

Stock, crypto, precious metal, and other commodity trading is basically gambling, not investing.

Investing and gambling are both speculation.
