3361  Economy / Speculation / Re: 21 million Bitcoin on: April 08, 2015, 01:34:15 PM
Why it doesn't have to do anything with number of people possessing it, MZ???
If least people are possessing these coins (like many hodling), can't they try to manipulate the price higher just because they hold the biggest piece of the cake (in such a case where demand is much more as if it gets mainstream)Huh

Read carefully.

Price may increase but it doesn't depend solely on number of people and it is same with transactions too.

Meaning of solely: "Not involving anyone or anything else; only."

What you said is "assumption" and we can't completely depend on it. Another problem is, even though people try to buy and sell Bitcoin to gain profit, people who buy try their best to lower the buy price and most sellers in exchanges, lower their price slightly. This doesn't mean prive only decrease but because of this we can't see a big rise in price very fastly.

If demands are higher and Bitcoins are less, price will increase but there will be people everytime who will sell at buy price. Like I said, price can't depend "solely on" number of people.
3362  Other / Meta / Re: What can I do? on: April 08, 2015, 01:26:58 PM
Guys I have his account already!
I told him that I would pay him another 0.02 for the account so he gave me the password and I changed it.

What should I do now???
Thanks!

If you're a man of your word, you can send 0.02BTC but if your intention was to get it by sort-of-lying, the. You don't want to pay. IMHO it is good to pay him.
3363  Other / Meta / Re: 'Recruiting' Participants? on: April 08, 2015, 01:25:07 PM
Well, yes, but if everyone starts doing it, I imagine it would get annoying really fast for those select few victi... trusted members. Tongue

Wouldn't another way of dealing with this be to simply pay trusted members more, much like higher ranks and staff already are at the moment? It's certainly less effective, but also less annoying and risky.

Doing it publicly is riskier than doing in PM, it will be buying trust in public but when doing via PM, many of them won't know about this. You won't get a ban for paying higher amount, however, you can get a ban for PM_spam.
3364  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: GuiMiner server list ? on: April 08, 2015, 01:22:31 PM
You want to mine and want to know which pool to use?

If yes, I recommend using Eligius, Slush's and Ghash.io.

3366  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: April 08, 2015, 01:18:06 PM
What you have done here logically is the tactic known as

Create an irrefutable claim.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falsifiability

The burden of proof in such a case is on the person making the irrefutable claim.  Here is an example commonly seen.

A:  God Exists!  If he doesn't then you prove he doesn't!
B:  No, dude.  It's for you to prove he does exist.  You made the claim.

All of the incidents in the report are referenced.

Zakir, one thing I must mention.  When you defend your beliefs and your religion, you should not use logical errors.  These are more like something seen in propaganda than serious discussion.  They are not worthy of being part of a discussion about great ideas.

You maybe interpreting it in a different way. I am saying that "you saw some news one medias and you post here". Then tell Islam is bad. What I am saying do medias know they are "real" muslims? Can't somebody imitate muslims? Why don't you think about such questions/statements?

A vouch for medUSA! His signatures are attractive but not too colorful. Good luck on the sales.
3368  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: April 08, 2015, 01:12:34 PM
My card arrived! Soon enough, I'll be organising the shipment of campaign members' cards so make sure you're still in the campaign!

Sir, I tried to contact the site through support, even sent an email to card@bit-x.com and also opened a ticket in their support section...
Still waiting for their reply, I hope they respond ASAP...

Please keep on-topic. This is a signature campaign. It is better to post in official ANN thread. You will also get better attention from BIT-X.
3369  Other / Meta / Re: Add a top level topic to Bitcointalk => "Security" on: April 08, 2015, 01:10:27 PM
Is there enough topics to add a "Security" board? Also, if this is going to be added, we need a new name as there already a board named "Securities"*.

3370  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: April 08, 2015, 01:05:17 PM
=snip=
The address you posted looks like your bit-x deposit address. Do they allow you to sign message with it?
Bit-x doesn't allow you to sign a message with your address but its not necessary that all the addresses starting with 3 are associated with bit-x. It can be his personal address too(and he can sign a message using that).

It probably is a copy-paste mistake and I don't think you can sign message with a P2SH address. I maybe wrong though.
3371  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: April 08, 2015, 12:54:09 PM
They used to do it at the time of Indira and Rajiv, decades have passed now and Sikh are far more peaceful than they were ever before.
I am not saying that you and your friends do it(there are still a lot of saneness' left in Indian Muslims) but in certain parts Muslims are too against their own nation.

Also sometime visit Punjab, you'll get to see things are fine there, you cannot judge Sikhs by sitting in Kerela.

Indira and Rajiv is Muslim? Shocked Why didn't they abolish such thing if it was happening?

Don't forget, friend! This was abolished at the time of Islamic rule in India, Mughal Empire. Akbar abolished this. Please don't take exceptional cases and tell all are bad.

Exactly what you should say. You can't judge muslims by sitting in your home. You should also travel to see. Besides, what I said was from media.
3372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 21 million not never !!! on: April 08, 2015, 12:27:24 PM
He should have learned more about it. There blackholes are interesting. How did you find about them?
We definitely can't reach 21 million. Even fiat gets destroyed. Bitcoin can be easily sent to the wrong address, wallets lost, passwords forgotten and such.

There have been discusions about Blackholes.

3373  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: April 08, 2015, 12:18:28 PM
That isn't a rule, all I am talking about is Muslims are feeding on Hindu taxpayers and are still in a support of a country that wants to ruin us(is this how you support your country)?

And yes I am an India, don't you recognize India's flag?(see my avatar).

Where do you get it? In which state is this happening? I have a lot of Hindu and Christian friends and in my state and most others we all live peacefully. However, in Punjabs and Pakistan-Indian borders there are some problems. Sikh people are also make ruthless problems too.

P.S. I disabled avatars and signatures.

Price may increase but it doesn't depend solely on number of people and it is same with transactions too.
3375  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - Discussion Thread on: April 08, 2015, 12:11:02 PM
Where exactly should I point armory to look for blockchain? I used to have it to main folder, but that did not work now I'm pointing here \BitData\blocks\index and it at least does something. But right now its on initializing bitcoin engine for about 30 minutes already.

Pointing the main folder of %AppData%\Bitcoin and pointing to the Bitcoin core installation(usually C:\Program Files\Bitcoin) will work.
3376  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: April 08, 2015, 12:03:07 PM
I believe that its not the media who changed it. It was some people from your own religion who deliberately changed it for their individual good and now most of the Muslims have started believing in ideas of violence.

Back up your claims. Just saying something isn't good.

P.S. Questions I asked to Spendulus probably answers this question.

And if Islam advocates loving your country then why do you want to behead each and every guy who isn't a muslim(even if they belong to your country)?

What do you mean? Islam never to told behead others just because they ain't muslims. Don't take out of context verses and hadiths about wars.

Why is it that you pest on Hindu tax payers money(in India) and then still cheer for Pakistan(even people from Jamia do it)?

Care to explain more. There isn't such rule in India.

Also, its not my country, its "our" country.

You're Indian? Glad to see another Indian being involved in Bitcoin. Smiley
3377  Other / Meta / Re: 'Recruiting' Participants? on: April 08, 2015, 11:58:09 AM
Not sure how that has any relevance to my post? I don't really care who it is about and i never asked to be fair.

You said about Marco regarding "if it was you", "you would even want to think about..." etc... So I said this thread is probably about Carra23's actions.

Also surprised that you think it has a possibility of being allowed. "Marco may want to spam pms", nice advice.

If it is "allowed", it wouldn't be a spam. Undecided

It won't be allowed if more than one person does not want to receive the pms and he gets reported and as stated before gets a nice long ban for his trouble. I don't see the point not even for the best of posters, the line is to thin to try tiptoe across. Anyway i can not put anymore than i have so bye for now.

What you said is true but I agree with this:

I, personally, wouldn't mind as long as the message is personalized and prepared for me, not for a hundred people. Just make it useful, show that it was dedicated to certain member, show that you've put in some work in examining and personalizing said message for the member in question and in my books you'd be OK. This is where global mods like SaltySpitoon, grue and the admins, BadBear and theymos, could express their opinion.

Bolding is my courtesy.
3378  Economy / Speculation / Re: 21 million Bitcoin on: April 08, 2015, 11:51:43 AM
in mining few people good is ? if much people more good is ?

AFAIK how many people mine doesn't matter. What matter is how many Hashes are being used for mining.
3379  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: April 08, 2015, 11:46:40 AM
The images that you posted on the previous page were itself an indication of how less thought do you give while defending yourself and your religion.

You are wrong. I wasn't defending me and my religion, I was trying to correct the wrong belief - "If some psychos do bad, Islam is bad".

Not all of them were justified(most of them weren't)

If you are talking about your country, it might be right. I was talking in general. Don't avoid it deliberately.

and they do show that who is brainwashed.

Yup, they do show who is brainwashed and why they should change the belief I said above.

You guys don't even respect the nation in which you live(not talking about particularly you).

Are you kidding me? There were/are many muslims who died for their nation. Even Islam says, loving your nation is part of Islam.

I believe that Islam in its original form didn't have told you to do bad. But now you have moulded it in such a way that now in the 21st century, it is to be believed that Islam tells you to do all this.

Who moulded it? Medias and politics are the real ones who moulded it. You are misunderstanding and being influenced.

@Spendulus: See? You gave some news. Have you looked more about it? Do you know whether it was "really" a muslim who did the attack? How did you know they were muslims? Did you talk with attackers? Did you witness it? Isn't it obvious? Media influences you.

Quote from: Netpyder
if islam is a religion of war and sufferings, atheism and christianity is worst. considering the crime rate in the USA alone. there are more crimes than the palestine and all muslim countries united.
but then you would say they are not doing it for religion,

i would rather ask you, do you think they are doing it for religion? open your eyes its just a political move.. do you know that a certain group of people take family of the suicide bombers into hostage? and if they dont do it, they will kill their families.. did you know that? the cnn made a documentary about this in 2010. but of course you would not like to hear that, you hear what you want to believe and what you want to hear
3380  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Palestine & israel? What do you think about that situation? on: April 08, 2015, 11:31:56 AM
Don't fight here. Can't you even read the title? "What do you think about that situation?".
